I visited Terravita on a Tuesday night for a business dinner, and I was really pleased with the experience. We started our meal with the burrata and the short rib croquettes, both of which were outstanding. For my main, I had the yuca gnocchi with short rib, which was a true highlight—absolutely rich and flavorful. My colleague tried the octopus, though I think I enjoyed my plate even more. We finished with two desserts: the baklava, which was a standout without being overly rich, and a deconstructed cheesecake that didn’t quite hit the mark like the other dessert.
We also enjoyed a gin and tonic, along with a “Free Day Weekend” cocktail, which was a delicious twist on a pornstar martini, with vodka and passion fruit.
We arrived around 6 p.m.—it was quiet at first, but the vibe picked up as the evening went on. The venue is fairly new, having opened in December, and it has a modern, warm, and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly—especially Harold, our server—who gave spot-on recommendations and was attentive without being overbearing. Overall, it was a fantastic dinner, and I would highly recommend Terravita for a business dinner or a special occasion. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the Wall Street area, though it would also be perfect for a weekend visit!
