Warm Italian restaurant serving homemade pasta & natural wines in a rustic, brick-lined space.
"Whether your night at Terre includes a bunch of housemade pastas or a couple of choices from the long list of cheeses and cured meats, be sure too sit in the greenery-filled back garden. Also, ask the friendly servers for recommendations from the 100+ natural wines available by the glass." - team infatuation
"What It Is: A casual Italian spot in Park Slope with a long wine list Perfect For: Casual Weeknight Dinner, Date Night, Drinks And A Light Bite Terre serves 100 different natural wines by the glass, which is kind of exciting. When we recently made it into this new Park Slope Italian spot for dinner, we tried some small plates and pastas, and we liked the tagliatelle ragu with beef and pork. There are plenty of Italian places in the area with better food, but we would come back to Terre for their huge wine and charcuterie selections. Make sure to take a seat at the narrow bar up front, rather than the very quiet dining room. The Verdict: If you focus on the unusual wine list and bit charcuterie selection, then Terre works well as a low-commitment date spot." - hannah albertine, bryan kim, katherine lewin, hillary reinsberg, chris stang, matt tervooren
"As you’re flipping through the wine list at Terre, which looks like a picture book you’d find if Natural Wine Production were an elementary school class, the staff might ask if you want to taste any wines or charcuterie. Your answer to both should be yes. This casual Italian spot in Park Slope serves more than 100 mostly-Italian wines by the glass, including a big selection of orange wines. The narrow, brick-walled space is great for dates, when you should sit at the bar and let the servers organize tastings of charcuterie, cheese, and olive oils." - matt tervooren
"Terre is our favorite place to drink wine in Park Slope, which makes it useful for an hour-ish hang by default. They have over 100 natural wines, all available by the glass. If you need help choosing, talk to the staff about what looks interesting to you and they’ll bring you tastes of a few different options. Terre also has a huge charcuterie selection because, despite all of our hopes and dreams, wine isn’t actually dinner. For all these reasons, this is one of the best casual date spots in the neighborhood." - hannah albertine
"Terre is a casual Italian spot in Park Slope with 100 different natural wines by the glass, as well as some shareable small plates, pastas, and a few meat entrees. When you’re seated on their intimate garden patio, the friendly servers will offer plenty of tastes from the wine list, and they’ll do the same for the various cheeses and cured meats. We like the tagliatelle ragu for a full dinner, but sticking to wine and charcuterie is also a good move." - nikko duren
