"With dozens of Texas’ most creative beers on tap, including the Scuba Squeeze IPA, the Oktoberfest Festbier, and the Mosaic Pils Lager,  the only German restaurant in Missouri City doesn’t disappoint. Slice through a jalapeno cheddar wurst bursting with juices, or bite into a mushroom gravy-smothered pork schnitzel that’s as large as the plate it comes on. Co-owner Laura Abraham borrows her grandmother’s recipes for braised red cabbage and German potato salad. And find what might be the best burger in town – a blend of chuck, brisket, and short rib topped with grilled onions and served on a Slow Dough challah bun." - Rebecca Deurlein

I wanted some good German food. The Texas Biergarten has it. The hostess was kind and promptly seated us. Our waitress was fantastic. The food was excellent! I tried a Ruben sandwich called forbidden love that also has a schnitzel inside. It was heavenly!

Stopped for lunch on a rainy day. We were given a booth in a warm spot and soon greeted by our server. Soon I was enjoying a craft beer while my wife had a Margie for National Margarita Day. She said it was good. . We started with the schnitzelized pickles and jalapenos. That is, breaded and fried. They were excellent. . We both had pork schnitzel sandwiches with fries. The fries were very unusual, like a quarter potato, cooked perfectly until the center was fluffy. . The sandwich was fine. The cutlet was thicker than expected, cooked very well but too lightly seasoned. It came with a forgettable slice of cheese and a sturdy brioche bun. It is served with a pint of mushroom gravy which added much need moisture and flavor. . Overall, it was a good experience on a cold rainy day.

This was our first visit, but far from the last. It is so nice to go to a restaurant where the staff actually cares about the customer. The waitress met us at the door and seated us, and she was so happy she danced all the way to the table. She was attentive and took great care of us, but not in a way that indicated she was just trying to get a bigger tip. The atmosphere is fun, with great country music, several TVs, and beer tap handles on the walls. There is also a selection of board games on hand. Now for the reason we all go out to eat, the food. They have some specials which aren't on the menu every day, such as chili and gumbo. We got a cup of gumbo and really enjoyed it. It's made with chicken and sausage, and served with rice and crackers. It was really good. My wife got the chicken fried steak and gravy with mashed potatoes, and I got the pork schnitzel and gravy with mashed potatoes. She said it was the best CFS she had had in years, and I don't ever remember a schnitzel this good in the greater Houston area. These were the lunch portions. We are both excited to head back soon for more great food and music.

Second time visiting tonight after a few years. I got the Kaizen Japanese Rice Lager. Frosted Tips Blonde is also good. Soft pretzel was great! Got the chicken fried chicken to eat. Very good and portioned well! Other people I was with got the pork schnitzel, but they weren’t as impressed. Service was very good. Overall I would recommend this place for the chicken fried chicken. Would come back!

I am an almost regular customer here. I usually order the salmon or the medium steak . I was so hungry, but the steak was so flavorless, fried on the outside and dull on the inside. Also the menu said cooked in butter but it was cooked in oil, which makes a lot of difference if anyone knows what I am talking about. The deviled eggs and the dill pickles were awesome as usual. Won’t try meat from here anymore. But the bar is vibrant and chill😍

This was a good place and I'd happily recommend this to others. Definitely washed through American cuisine, but still definitely "in the family" and definitely pretty good. Would recommend.

Great burgers. Great service. Visited again today, still have great burgers. Great beer selection too. Full menu with nice variety. Bibegar wings were very good. By now I've been here a handful of times. The barflies are good company. Bartender T is a pro in all ways. Discounted beer on Tuesdays. Great local spot, good happy hour. Again, great beer selection. Food is good. Bar flies are entertaining.
