Good food, good service. I highly recommend family meal as it includes 10 chickens and 3 sides. Worth the price and it tastes really good. And it’s halal. Moslem friendly meal.

It was one of my best ever experience. The workers are so polite, nice and clean and very down to earth especially the dread cashier guy very lovely and kind dude.

Every time I go in the restaurant the workers are rude and they never have white chicken cooked alway the dark meat. The burgers are soggy and no flavor I didn’t get a burger this time but in the past . I paid for just 12 pieces of mixed chicken no sides and one fry 35 dollars no drinks either . I won’t be going back to the restaurant .

The best fried chicken in this area of Harlem. The chicken is crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. Maybe some of the local restaurants that specialize in southern cooking could take some lessons😉 The staff is courteous and friendly always. My favorite chicken spot.

Food is decent but staff is terrible and rude. They constantly mess up our order and argue because they are unwilling to admit they made a mistake.

everytime i'm about to catch the train back to brooklyn i notice TCB out of the corner of my eye, usually i've just got some takeaway or groceries to take home or; its packed with school kids being loud AF like kids deserve to be after their independence eraser (lol),also for me its the timing like i'm either to early for the "famous" TCB or too late (10am-2am) so i guess the "always a food bridesmaid never a food bride" self-gaslight made my desire seem very valid;so yesterday it happened around 3:30p i noticed there was only one person occupying one of the three booths so i was like that bouquet is MINE!! it wasn't long before i realized being a foodbride isn't always glorious! the nerve of their prices is disarming to me ,in the way of "if it's this expensive then i'm sure it must be great" (gaslight) i ordered the number 11combo 3pieces of chicken soda ff and a biscuit $12.51 i asked for leg wing and breast they didn't have my desired drink but im still in pre foodhoneymoon i sit in the booth look out over the bustling 116th street then i was told the food was ready about eleven or so minutes i get my tray go back to the booth and then i had a ff it wasn't the way i imagined but i went with the flow as they were atleast warm yet unsalted oh also that's when i noticed that condiments and add sauces were extra asked for salt but on deaf ears plus the person next in line had what seemed to be too many questions for the now flustered counter person whose face showed the rage reserved for those who don't know what they want i take it. so atleast the packet of ketchup i was given had salt in it opened my box realized it was the wrong pieces immediately i requested and received the correct ones took a bite of some chickens leg and was like this is not the food wedding i imagined it wasn't good at all it was like that first hip hop song and the chicken taste like wood started looping in my head then i picked up the hard biscuit smelt it and put it back a fooddivorce eminent i sat and pondered how to not be a vengeful ex decided to just throw it out then a homeless person came in asked for money i said i can give u this box of food i informed that i didn't like it and was going to throw it away she seemed happy to have the free food i left ordered chicken over rice from the halal cart directly infront of the window of TCB looked away while i waited then the homeless lady i gave the box of chicken and biscuit asked me if i could buy her something from the cart i said no and reminded her that i just gave her the chicken box in her hand she tried to hand it back although that was funny i stilll said sorry no got my Chicken Over rice and caught the train

This place has saved my life at least twice by being open late and en route to my final destination. It's not that they are terrible but some things just dont mesh with the neighborhood they service. The following will keep me from giving this place more than two stars: 1) they nonchalantly mess up your order so be sure to check it and ensure that you received what you paid for. 2) while most things look clean, appearances are deceiving. Try not to touch anything that you do not have to. 3) on more than one occasion, I have witnessed the staff say they were closed or had run out of items or had already closed the register depending on the look of the clientele that entered. This is while their doors are still open, patrons are dining in, and during their normal hours of being open. While this hasn't happened to me, I have witnessed the staff do it to other patrons. 4) I wouldn't dare venture into the non-chicken options, aside from the fries which are good when they cook them thoroughly. 5) when they are really busy, it can get really hectic so expect everything to go wrong and be assertive to get it made right again. 6) would it kill them to offer at least ONE semi healthy option? Chicken salad, at least?

Using a quote from another Yelper, Roni B, Texas Chicken & Burgers is a decent "hood chicken spot" Honestly, I was expecting a sh*tshow of an experience, but the fast food joint was a lot cleaner than I thought it would be with the exception of the large number of fruit flies/gnats. The service was just OK, the guy messed up my orders a couple of times, but he was really nice when correcting the botched order. The chicken was ooooook. Like Roni B says, it's a hood chicken spot, so I was not expecting amazing chicken . . . for a fast food establishment - I'll leave that for Kennedy Fried Chicken. Even though I had a decent experience, I probably will revisit if I am in extreme starvation mode.

Awful service, cancelled 3 delivery drivers then closed 1.5 hours after I placed the order. Absolutely dreadful.

This is a good late night eatery and its affordable. It was clean in there for sure and the cashier was ok. All I wanted was french fries which I received quickly along with a biscuit which I didn't care for. The food was cheap which is always good. The place was a convenient fast food joint and the fries were good fyi.

HORRIBLE!!! Don't eat from here unless u trying to catch a disease!! They are super dirty from inside and out the store!! U will have to dodge the rats the size of cats just trying to walk by the place! The dude tried to charge me $4.30 for a breast!! Just one !! And the thing was small!! Size of my fist and I'm a female 5'1 135 pounds so imagine that! Smfh!! I was starving but never I would give that for only a breast! I rather go hungry!! UNBELIEVABLE!!

This is a fast food chicken placed where 90% of things are fried. The burgers are big. The chicken is good, juicy and crispy. The chicken tenders are great! Juicy white meat with a crunchy outside. Most of the time the fries are good. Sometimes I get a biscuit and sometimes a chocolate chip cookie. Both are nice. The staff are nice and friendly.

I've been back and forth through the area and have wondered about this place from 'afar' It's bright, clean looking, and a cut above your average local chicken/burger shack. I was really drawn in by the visual ads promising fresh, never frozen burgers. Finally the occasion came for me to sample the goods and put this place to the test. And...it's mostly bark, little bite. Starting with the positives - it is bright. And clean. The workers have uniforms. There's an ordering system they use to track your order - pretty organized looking. The burgers come in nice corrugated paper burger bins (nice to know they give a hoot about the planet - or at least they put off that perception). The value is pretty great. $5 for a burger; $7 for a combo with fries and a drink. Then you get to the actual food. While the burger may be fresh, never frozen it doesn't taste that way. Thank AUTOMATION. So what happens when you order your burger is they pull out the patty from the fridge/cool area, and put it on the grill, but then...ala Mickey D's (and some other burger chains)...they use a clamshell grill. Clamshell grills close down from the top and cook the burger from top and bottom at the same time. While it's great for uniformity and cooking large quantities of burgers fast, it also cooks them while squashed, which presses/cooks the freshness right out of the burger. The result? A burger that tastes like a public school burger (cue booing). The bun is actually too big for the burger. It just didn't have a fresh, juicy burger taste and feel. It tasted processed and I kept biting bits of meat that probably shouldn't have found its way into the grinder. Fries? Well, those are frozen, not freshly cut. They don't have turkey burgers - only beef. They also sell pieces of chicken as well as chicken tenders. They look pretty good, but I've only tried the burger (which is what this review is about). They do have location going for them - though I believe there is a Jimbos/Jumbos two avenues over which also has fresh, not frozen burgers and they make each of them individually, respecting the meat as it cooks and giving you a juicy burger. Sorry Texas Burger and Chicken. I won't be back.

I love the food here and they have music also playing. But when they have a sign saying "must show id for any credit or debit cards" they should follow the rule. My friend had his wallet stollen awhile ago and someone bought food from here and no one asked for id. It concerns me. Even when I used my id a few days ago they didn't ask for id and when I questioned the guy he said that the guy on the register was new and didn't know but then last night I used my card again and so did many other people and they did not asked once for id. I guess they just don't care.

We ordered several meals for friends. We ordered the seafood platter, chicken meals, and chicken tender meals. I really like the season on the food. The reason I gave them 2 starts is the customer service. I had a great interaction with the employee at the cash register. However, I witnessed the employee at the cash register raise his voice at a child who was picking up an order for his godmother. It was hard to watch and I stepped in because it was inappropriate and uncalled for. For this reason, I will not be returning.

Does the trick - reasonably friendly and polite staff, standard fast-food chicken, lifesaver for when you need a dinner at less convenient times (like midnight) Food is of decent standard - no bad experiences so far Its more of the community that gives the discomfort rather than the staff

This is good chicken and biscuits. Damn. I don't know why there are any other chicken joints open in the area. They should all be closed. Texas is where you should come to eat chicken.

The food was garbage, so was the service. I do not recommend going here. They said they ran out of food for some customers but didn't for others because of how they looked. I can't image what it felt like to them.

I really do not suggest anyone coming here. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the food is actually decently made. However, each and EVERY time I come here, there's always a portion of my order missing. I once paid about $24.00 and had 4 of my fries missing as well as 3 of my sodas. I always heard people complaining inside about things missing but never thought it would happen to me. If you want to risk it, go ahead. But you are forewarned.

If I could give it no stars, I would. I was very disturbed at the treatment some patrons received. Enough so that I would never eat here. I cannot believe how rude the employee working the register was. It looked as though there was an issue because they were of the LGBTQ Community. Very disturbing.

Hands down the best "Hood chicken spot". It's even better than Popeye's. The fried chicken is perfectly crispy, the spicy chicken wings are perfectly spicy, the chicken tenders are on point (NO sogginess @ all), corn on the cob is nice & sweet & always piping hot, even the burgers are hella good. Sometime they have 2 different types of fries. I guess whichever the owner orders. The shoestring fries are great & never soggy by the time I get home. The other is a thicker cut & I'm not a fan of those from any restaurant. I have a friend who treks from Brooklyn for their chicken tenders. My coworkers will make a pit stop here b4 heading home. I absolutely REFUSE to eat takeout chicken from any other place. I really wish they delivered. Added bonus, they stay open til the wee hours of the night. All you have to do is walk past on either of the 4 corners & the smell will have you walking thru the doors. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. I don't know what the Lala girl's review was talking about, can't be the same place. FYI: they have been open for quite some time now & the quality & taste have remained the same. Unfortunately, that is not the case for other food establishments.

I don't come here very often unless I am in the area and I'm starving. I try to avoid it now because whenever I order French fries they're extremely spicy and I'm not a person who takes well to spicy things so they burn my mouth. It's like they fry the fries in the same oil as the spicy chicken, that would be the only explanation since they don't season the fries with anything. I'm pretty sure that is against health code; non-meat items shouldn't be fried with meat items. Sad because they're pretty tasty, but it's hard to enjoy when my mouth is on fire. Won't be returning.

The chicken is pretty good. The fries are alright. But the biscuits are just terrible. Fake butter flavor and drier than the Sahara.

Swear to you the best chicken tenders I've ever had. Pro tip: choose the spicy chicken tenders. For the price this place can't be best-- ~$7 and you can 4 massive tenders, a ton of fries, and a soda. Epic af

Horrible do not go here. Chicken sandwich horrible did not even look like a chicken sandwich. The fries horrible. The honey bbq wings horrible. Do not go here. Stopped here for a quick bite on the go never again.

RACIST WORKERS!!! The food tasted like regular pleasure junk food but the customer service is terrible. I walk in and while I'm ordering, one of the workers spoke to another in Spanish and then they both giggled, then the other worker tried to make racist sounds and mutters under his breath as if he was trying to intimidate me. I stared at him in disbelief and after a good 5 seconds of him continuing while looking directly at me, he stopped and the conversation/giggling between the two was dropped. It's 2017 and I can't believe that this is still happening, this is absolutely disgusting. And this also goes to show how racism isn't just prevalent between the white Americans and black Americans, it's present within all races. They thought they were sneaky by talking in Spanish but little do they know, I took AP Spanish and aced the class with a 98 average and a full score on the regents, AP test, and almost a full score on the SAT II test for Spanish with listening..
