Had the carnitas taco, the crispy chicken and the crispy beef. All three were delicious. Medium size tacos with a good amount of filling. The flavors were fresh, well balanced and perfectly seasoned. I enjoyed the carnitas the most out of the three I tried. The crispy tacos were super crispy. Next time I need to try their flautas and vegetarian tacos. I heard great things about their sweet potato tacos.

Their daily special ceviche tostada with rockfish (?) was the best thing I ever tasted in my life. Mind blown. They said Tex mex was good in austin but wasn’t expecting this….better than the fancy NYC Mexican restaurants for sure!!! Perfect balance of flavors im blown away.

Well hot dang, this place was amazing! In town for a work trip, I had originally planned to go to La Barbecue just down the street and ended up arriving an hour after they closed. A person closing up shop there was kind enough to recommend Texsueño to me. I drove .4 miles down the road and waited in line for about 20 minutes. I ordered the flautas, the pork taco, the crispy beef taco, and the squash tostada. Holy moly everything was DELICIOUS! The flautas were crispy and cheesy-but-not-too-cheesy (also quite spicy), the pork taco was amazingly flavorful, the crispy beef taco was SUPER tasty, and the squash tostada was surprisingly my favorite of the bunch. I am new to texmex cuisine but I feel like this has to rate among the best. There is a nuance and freshness to the flavor profiles of each menu item that is impressive to say the least. Plus the ambiance and vibe at High Noon is impeccable as well. Just go here!

Beautiful and delicious gourmet tacos. My favorites were the flautas (cheesy and saucy), the squash tostada, and sweet potato taco. Grab yourself a drink from High Noon as well and enjoy!

Came here looking for a bite of what made the Austin food scene magic before rent forced everyone with a full kitchen to double prices and halve quality. Found what I was after in spades. Fantastic tacos, well executed, no reservations, and no wait. The sweet potato is my favorite—great balance of textures and flavors. Located in front of High Noon, but no fence or anything so really easy to walk up to. Lots of tables out front, too. Final note: they’re pretty allergy friendly and able to make mods to suit on the fly. Very appreciated!

I knew it was going to be good, but I had no idea it was going to be that GOOOOOOOD!!!! The sweet potato taco was the best veggie taco I've ever had. For all the carnivores out there my husband had the crispy beef tacos, lengua (yeah it's a thing) and chicken tacos. It's BYOTequila so we did!! Ancho Tamarind, Thai Lime, and Horchata....we had them all!!! I feel so lucky to have gone on the weekend because I had the opportunity to indulge in their burnt strawberry honey and coffee dulce de leche sopapillas!!!! Home made chips and maza...whuat??? Truly an amazing experience! Came out to the new location!!! Definitely the best best veggie option around. The sweet potato taco and potato taco were amazing!

The sweet potato taco was incredible and so unique! I’ve never had anything like it! It had elements of crunchy, crispy, spicy, and soft. Definitely a must try, especially if you’re vegan or vegetarian! I also got the crispy potato taco, and that was good as well. The taco itself is a hard shell taco which I didn’t expect. Inside is like mashed potato(?) and little bits of a fresh vegetable and lettuce I believe. Tasty, though I still prefer the sweet potato if I had to choose only one :)

The sweet potato taco will be something I dream about. So, so good! The crispy beef taco was good but the money was the sweet potato taco and get the smoked bean dip. So yummy!

chips + guac 1000/10 thick freshly fried tortilla + generous amount of perfectly seasoned guac tacos 6/10 tacos are pretty pricy. my favorite was the crispy beef taco but i wish the ground beef was cooked a bit longer/less mushy, same thing for the carnitas. the sweet potato one was ok!

Came here on a Sunday around 5:30pm and it was not too busy. I only tried the flautas but they were so good and the dipping sauce it is paired with is amazing. Since it's a food truck there is obviously outdoor seating. There is also a super groovy bar on the same property so you can grab a drink and use the restroom if needed.

Delicious! The sweet potato taco was a little spicy for me, but I'm a huge whimp! The crispy beef and chicken were perfectly seasoned and put together. The soft carnitas also amazing. It's on a distillery property, there's a frisbee golf course and plenty of open space for kids and families and pets to relax.

Excellent food! I've been wanting to try this place forever and finally made it! We had the crispy beef and chicken tacos and their amazing flautas. The crispy taco shells were so good! The dipping sauce for the flautas was really good. I'll definitely return to try the guac and the sweet potato tacos.

Small taco truck packing BIG flavor. Texsueño is parked outside of High Noon, and if you haven't been, GO NOW before it gets even more popular!!! It reminds me of Nixta, with every component intentional and well-executed. I tried the two most popular tacos: the carnitas and the sweet potato. These are definitely meant to be eaten immediately - the blue corn tortillas are delicate and tender and not designed for travel, and the sweet potato taco in particular has lots of textural elements like the crispy potato skin that need to be enjoyed right after plating. I heard the flautas are popular too, so I'll have to go back to try those as well. The carnitas taco is one of the better renditions in town. The meat is tender and well spiced, with some interesting notes almost of cinnamon and nutmeg in the background. The sweet potato taco had a very intense savory salsa macha and packed a bit of heat too!! Lots and lots of flavor, you don't even miss the protein. I can't wait to come back and try more. The chef said they're about to release new summer flavors so I'm keeping an eye out for sure.

The beef tacos are the best. They may look small but they are very hearty with a lot of ground beef. They've got the right combination of flavor and texture. I always get 4-6 tacos each time because they're so good.

Guac was good, but I felt dissappointed in the tacos I had. Tacos lacked in flavor. All of the accompanients were delicious. My family and I tried them at night, perhaps that made a difference?

This is possibly THE BEST taco I've had in Austin (Lifelong Austinite here). The crispy chicken was an EXPLOSION of flavor. Everything about this taco was perfect starting with the blue corn tortilla crispy shell - It embodies the word crispy (not crunchy, not toasted) but perfectly fried for the most satisfying crunch you've ever experienced. The chicken is so flavorful wonderfully spicy, great proportion of meat to lettuce. GREAT GREAT TACO!!

What happens when you take a taco truck and use high quality ingredients? You get Texsueño. What I like most here is the makeup of the food. There are some interesting concepts applied that enhance your tasting experience. When I came, I tried: - El Chepe: their dip trio that consists of salsa, bean dip, and guacamole. The salsa has a smokey and sweet flavor that makes you want to eat more and more. The guacamole has pasilla ash on top to give it a slight spice to contrast with the creamy avocado goodness. The bean dip tastes as good as you'd expect. - Sweet Potato Taco: I normally don't care for sweet potato, but this taco was great. It comes topped off with a pecan-golden raisin salsa that is nutty, sweet, and tart. Very unique, you gotta try this! - Carnitas Taco: I like the smokey flavor of the burnt salsa. Gives it a hardy taste. Good choice too! - Thai Lime / Horchata Margarita Mix: cool concept to bring your own tequila. They provide the rest and make it a fun experience. Smart idea too to save money on a liquor license. Great flavors that you can't find very often elsewhere. All in all, I was impressed after my visit. The variety of the food is impressive and the service received was very kind. You can tell Chef Brandon cares and wants to provide the best. I'll definitely be back to try other items!

Absolutely delicious. I was bummed that they did not have a few more meat options but loooved both tacos that I did order and through the guac and chips were also tasty. Would totally come back here even though the wait for the food was kind of long once we ordered.

Amazing place! We love the salsa, it's so freaking good! The guacamole is so fresh and the chicken taquitos are NECESSARY!! So freaking good, the sauce is delicious!!! We both got the carnitas taco and it was perfect, so flavorful and fresh. Everything here was just stupid good

Guys! This place is truly a gem. The East Side food truck park has limited parking so come early or you might have to park elsewhere and walk. And let me tell you...its worth it! We started off with the El Chepe, where you get the 3 dips, salsa, queso and Guacamole along with their housemade chips. I was super impressed not only with the presentation but the flavor!! I enjoyed the guac so much we got a second bowl. This is a BYOT(Tequila) establishment and they provide tasty mixers. You get 16 oz and we tried 2 out of the 3 mixers. Thai Lime was a classic margarita. I particularly enjoyed the Ancho Chile flavor mixer! Salt on the rim is provided along with a dehydrated orange slice. It was super classy! My husband and I ordered the taco plate where you get to pick 2 tacos and it comes with beans and rice. Usually when you go to a place the sides are a hit and a miss but not here! Everything was tasty and in no need of added extras to make it "taste better" they create perfectly tasty dishes! And you cannot forget about dessert!! We got their burnt strawberry honey sopapillas and Ay dios mios! It was amazing! I almost didn't want share with my husband. I was highly impressed with everything we tried and I cannot wait to go back and give their other options a go. If you are in ATX and need to get outta the house for yummy food. Do yourself a favor and make the journey to Texsueño. You will not regret it.

The food here was absolutely amazing. It's hard to find a place where the rice and beans taste as food as the main items!!! We tried the carnitas, crispy beef tacos and the gordita. Everything was incredible including the salsa, guacamole and chips. Lastly we tried the Thai Lime and Ancho Tamarind margarita mixes to take home and loved them both. The owner explained how we should make them and it was super easy. Definitely recommend going to!

The beef and chicken crispy tacos are freshly fried, super high quality, and the carnitas were really nicely browned with a really nice sauce. Don't forget to bring a few tequila minis for the bring-your-own-tequila margaritas. The ancho/tamarind and Thai lime were both excellent!

Fresh, packed with flavor, and all in homemade blue corn tortillas. I had the sweet potato and carnitas tacos based off recommendations. Can't wait to try the tostadas and flautas next time- I've heard those are incredible too! Order ahead of time and expect a 30 minute wait for pick up. Street parking only.

You can't go wrong with anything on this menu. My favorite is between the lengua gordita and the carnitas taco. Both so flavorful. The salsa has a kick but with good flavor. I especially enjoyed the cabbage topping on the enchiladas. Oh! And I can't forget the queso is delicious!!!! Get the queso fa sho!

I came to the pop up. The fried chicken sandwich was pretty good but it was overly salty. The fried sweet potatoes were very good. Expect to wait a long time in line and for the food. There were maybe 10 ppl ahead of us. We waited over 1.5 hrs from the time we got in line to the time we received the food.

The summer squash tostada is insane. The squash is sweet and smokey, the salsa is sharp and bright, and the tostada is crunchy and fresh. It's probably one of the best dishes I've had in a really long time. The first time I had it I was pretty drunk, so I thought I was exaggerating. Had it a bunch of times since and it's just crazy good. All the food I've had there has been dope.

The absolute greatest crunchy taco I have ever had, maybe in the world. The singlehanded best appetizer plate you could possibly imagine from a Texas snooze. The most bizarrely delicious tostada combinations you could dream. A+, 10/10, 5 stars. I haven't been able to get a good pic because I finish too fast every time.

RUN don't walk here. This place has unbelievable food. Everything ordered was next level quality and taste. This is hands down some of the best tacos in austin and arguably the best I have had in the states. As a San Diego native who loves mexican food, I will be returning here regularly. I am not a fan of TexMex in general but this place is another level. The stuff of dreams.

Amazing. Like amazing. The tacos are art, they should be in a fancy Mexican restaurant. The detail on each taco is amazing with sooo much flavor. I can't rec this place enough.

Don't disturb the taco truck monk. The chef and his minion are dedicated to the art of crafting the perfect taco. Don't let the unimpressive exterior deter you. You will not receive pleasantries here but that is because the artist is focused on the work. Loved this place. Went to horns v bama, went back to Airbnb, chilled, then got amped again. Needed food. This place was awesome and everything was amazing, both drunk and sobers agreed.

Texsueño made me sad I was visiting Austin for only a weekend. The flavors and quality blew me away. You really can't go wrong, but you have to try the taquitos. And the sweet potato tacos. And the fries. And the chips w/ guac. We could have eaten every meal here (and did come back several times). I dream of my return.

Best Mexican food truck in austin. Get the flautas too the texture will blow your mind. Chips and salsa were out of this world, had the creamiest green salsa I've ever tasted. This place is a true gem. In front of a really cool bar too so get a beer while you wait for the tacs

We just had sweet potato tacos for take out and they are sooo delicious! We are regretting that we should have ordered more (ordered only one per person). Highly recommend them and we will definitely be back soon for those sweet potato tacos!

I've eaten here maybe 15 times. Texsueño has a legitimate case for the best taco in the city. It's a bit fancier than other taco places in that category. While it's a food truck it has tacos with striking presentation, bold unique flavor, and a creative/innovative bent. The carnitas tacos are to die for and are the best item on the menu. But everything I've had here is excellent and different from anything I've had anywhere else.

Amazing food tastes likes from a 5 star sit down restaurant but it's out of a food truck! The salsa alone is a reason to go to this spot. Best chips, best salsa and best enchiladas!

Wow. My girlfriend just went here with some friends for the first time earlier this week and texted me RAVING about it, saying I'd love it and we have to go. The sweet potato tacos and spicy bean dip were the two things she had and really loved. Saying she LOVES food from somewhere is high praise from her because she's a true foodie and doesn't usually give such a glowing review. She was right. The bean dip and chips (which she raved about the first time) were delicious. Chips were obviously homemade and the perfect thickness and the dip was airy and flavorful. But the TACOS. Sheesh. I got two sweet potato tacos and a carnitas taco. The sweet potato tacos are so unique and delicious. They have sweet potatoes three ways: Roasted, fried and puréed. Incredibly flavorful. The carnitas taco, for me, was the best carnitas taco I've ever had. Admittedly, I'm not usually a huge fan of carnitas and it wouldn't be something I'd normally order, but they were sold out of a couple other things, so I went for it. My girl loved hers too and she's usually pretty underwhelmed by carnitas. Simple, greasy and delicious. I hope this place is there for a long time because I'm already craving more of the sweet potato tacos. The bean dip comes out súper quick, the tacos took a little bit. Be patient. It's worth the wait. They also sell drink mixing kits and suggest bringing your own tequila. Definitely doing that next time.

my boyfriend and i came to TX for sxsw and we spent the day searching for the best tacos. we hit about 6/7 diff spots, Texsueño being our first and favorite. the chef is super cool and friendly, everything on the menu is 5 star. The flautas are the best i've ever had, and everything is so underpriced for the quality of food. we've eaten here everyday since, and the bar, high noon right next to it is super cool... they're an awesome duo together. we will be back for these tacos soon! Great food. My favorite is the crispy chicken and the carnitas taco. Also the Thai Lime & Ancho margaritas (BYOT) are out of this world. Cool chill place to bring a bottle of tequila and relax with good food.

This place has spice down to perfection. Textures and flavors are married into something fresh & interesting. I cannot wait to grab a few other items from them and try their marg mixes. Phenomenal food and really kind chefs.

So freakin' good! Texsueno brightly shines in a city full of amazing Mexican restaurants and taco places... The flavors and textures of EVERY dish here are on point but the crispy tacos might be the best taco dish i've ever had...Wish these guys the best of luck!

Great new taco truck! Our favorite is the Gordita, it's absolutely fantastic and I've not had anything like it in Austin. The margarita mixes are great too - don't forget to bring your own tequila. Will definitely be back

The carnitas tacos are amazing! Can't seem to get past them to order anything else on the menu!!! I heard the Gordita is even better. Loved the Thai lime margarita !! Don't forget to take your tequila !

New but very good! We had the Chips & Guac, Enchiladas, Gordita, all 3 Margaritas (Bring your own Tequila!), and the Carnitas. All were outstanding!!

Let me just start with the best sweet potato taco EVER!!!! It was full of yummy kale and a secret sauce that just sent my taste buds into overdrive. The guac was amazing and the queso was topped with fresh cilantro that made the homemade tortilla chips....yes homemade tortilla chips even better! All of their margarita mixes (I tried them all!! It was BYOTequila) were so refreshing and beautifully crafted with a dehydrated orange wedge. Once it was properly saturated in my margarita could have been my dessert but it wasn't! I had to try the burnt strawberry honey and coffee dulce de leche sopapillas. Apparently, you can only get those on the weekend so I got lucky!!!! I have to say it was the best food truck experience I've ever had!!!

Absolutely delicious! If you go with some friends you should definitely get the el chepe sampler. Top 5 Austin quesos in my book! Also, the tacos are BOMB and it takes something special for a taco to stand out in ATX! We will Absolutely be back!

Had the privilege of eating here on New Years Day! This food truck did not disappoint. We had the crispy tacos, carnitas taco, guacamole and queso! My favorite dish was the lengua Gordita, it was full of flavor! They had a great NY brunch menu and the sopapillas were amazing. Don't forget your tequila for the tasty margaritas, their BYOT concept is genius! Plenty of seating and perfect for social distancing! I can't wait to go back and visit again!
