The food and wine at Restaurant Texture are undeniably fantastic. The flavors were incredible, and the presentation of every dish was stunning—truly art on a plate. However, for a restaurant of this caliber, the atmosphere felt a bit disconnected. The dining room came across as a bit boring and lacked the charm or warmth you would expect to match such high-quality cooking. I would definitely go again for the stunning tasting menu, but don't expect a lively or particularly atmospheric setting.

What an amazing night at Texture. Wish I could have personally thanked everybody at the restaurant for the time spent but didn’t want to take up the staffs time since they put so much into making your time there perfect. I know there are those who say you just pay for the experience and not the food, well here it is more than that. The atmosphere was friendly, the staff always checking to make sure you are feeling at home, and the food has to be considered art. Just hearing how the food was made and the prep work put into making the dishes was something I enjoyed hearing for each dish. With the main dish I was completely blown away with the amazing taste of the turbot. I’m not much of a fan for fish but how they made it taste made me just want to lick the plate clean. But don’t do that unlikes you’re at home. Now I must try and cook turbot and just hope I can get close to the taste they produced. Will definitely come back whenever I get a chance to visit Copenhagen again, plus I see this restaurant will be obtaining a third Michelin star.

Visited in April 2025. We had the tasting menu and the non-alcoholic pairing. The food and service were great and overall worth the price. All the food was cooked very well, except the brioche, which had a nice taste and texture, but was still a bit raw inside. My personal favourites were the æbleskiver-inspired lobster, the langoustine dish, and the goat cheese sorbet. My least favourite dishes were the choux canapé, the rhubarb dessert, and the matcha petit four, although I normally love both rhubarb and matcha. Still, everything was tasty and most dishes were quite interesting. On top of that, the presentation was excellent, and some of the dishes were the prettiest that I have ever eaten. The non-alcoholic drink pairing was good, featuring 5 different juices from Muri. While I found it nice enough to try once, I wouldn't have it again. The staff was great, both friendly and professional. I particularly liked the lady chef who shared my love of pretty flowers :) The venue was nice and decorated with style. I liked the idea of using TV screens to display seasonal "paintings". There was a timer in the kitchen that was distracting at times, and the acoustics of the room we were seated in were a bit strange, which is why I rate the atmosphere 4/5. Overall, I was very happy with my visit to Texture, and I'd be happy to come back and try a new menu in a different season.

Honestly one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we’ve had in Copenhagen but probably ever. It felt like everything was thought through. The plates were so beautiful, the silverware was lovely, the glassware was so delicate and perfect and none of that was even the food! The dishes were so amazing and I’ve never seen such beautiful food in real life. The flowers and little patterns and dots on the dishes were unreal. My favorite dish was the crazy tomato thing. There was a drink that tasted like a tomato paired with this gel and lobster dish. It sounds weird but trust me, you had to be there. And the goat cheese sorbet actually changed my life. That olive oil was an experience. And on top of all that the desserts were so amazing. I’ve been to plenty of restaurants and dessert often feels like an afterthought. These desserts did not. There were 7 of them. And each one was different and seriously special. And on top of everything the staff was fun, easy to talk to, and really nice people. The interior and dishes may give the vibe of something stuffy and fancy but the reality is that it’s a place filled with passionate and hardworking people that are committing to a labor of love. You can see, taste, and feel the love and care. The hype is real and the star was well deserved.

This restaurant should have a Michelin star. Service and kitchen is decidedly old school French, and extremely well executed - Staff was kind, very professional and balanced personal interactions with swift and efficient service. We were greeted outside at the door by a kind waiter who introduced us to the restaurant and sat us at our table. Overall, this level of service I have only experienced at places like pre Catalan, Le Jardin, Alchemist and Søllerød. Absolutely spotless. Had the “basic” wine pairing which was expertly curated and very, very good value. Their sommelier has a lexical knowledge of his wines, and really elevated the wine experience. The courses were impeccable, extremely high attention to detail and classical French haute cuisine. Kitchen uses a lot of high end ingredients, but they also clearly know how elevate these ingredients to be both exciting, comforting and awe inspiring. Best dinner I have had in Copenhagen or indeed anywhere for quite a while.

Quintessential French fine dining, extra round and tasty flavors, but very well balanced, refined techniques and dishes that are so pretty you want to cry. In my opinion, the menu only lacks a meat main course (a pink duck fillet would have been perfect) and it's a bit steep in price (but the amount of foie gras, caviar and truffle justifies it completely). All in all, absolutely recommended for a classic fine dining experience where the palate and the eyes are equally happy!

This was seriously an amazing experience. Extremely high level on all parameters: taste, presentation, service, atmosphere. The staff was so welcoming and personal and engaging. They definitely deserve a star, this is really Michelin worthy.

Texture is a great place. First, the reservation process is wonderfully straightforward, a good old restaurant booking where you simply reserve without going through the administrative circus reservations have become. Second, the service is amazing; the way the wines and courses are described is both clear (no weird names) and genuinely helpful. And of course, the food is full of flavor, generous, and made with top-quality products. Each plate is beautifully presented. It’s a tiny restaurant (we were twelve and filled one of the two rooms) so the atmosphere feels almost like having dinner at someone’s home. We visited the kitchen, which is spotless, and when you see its small size you really appreciate the artistry and organizational skill required to make all this happen, drama-free, in full view, and create memorable experiences.
