"After years of instability, the TGI Fridays in Union Square has finally closed. The location opened in 2010 and by 2014, the owner was looking to sell due to low sales. It survived a fire in 2016 but officially served its last loaded potato skins at the end of last year, according to EV Grieve." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya

Our party of two each ordered an appetizer for dinner. The food was decent, and our server friendly. The place was not crowded but there were a couple of groups sitting in the back. It felt like our server was waiting on them in the back as well as us in the front. So we had to wait a while for our bill.

Yep! Overpriced and poor service and food just is horrible. Came in for a quick bite server looked like she didn't want to be there and was pretty much non existent other than bringing water and food never really checked on us. My chicken and ribs were very over cooked tough and dry on the outside. Pot stickers looked deep fried rather than pan fired and oily. Just disappointed all the way around. Usually love TGI Fridays but this place is not up to par. Service and food need a lot of work. Avoid this place.

*NOTE* NO UNLIMITED APPETIZERS HERE The service here was PATHETIC! To be honest the only reason why I'm giving it two stars because the food was necessary due to how hung over I was. Not only was the service horrible this place is SUPER expensive for what it is. Sure I get it, Manhattan prices, but $20 for a burger SMALLER than a whopper from Burger King? That's pretty steep. The food was generally alright, again being hungover probably made the food taste much better. Had I not come in that state...actually I don't think I'd even come here otherwise. If you NEED TGI Fridays, because who knows why, then I'd look for a different spot.

Went there for my birthday with a friend. I was impress. The small was very quiet, calm and peaceful . It was crowded like Applebees. Food came quick and the waiter was great. Food was great as well. Very simple , even though the was in the city. I would highly recommend to go here.

A group of friends and I went in for drinks and apps to kill time before a concert at Irving Plaza. It was happy hour, so we were thinking to get good food for a good price. However when we got there, the waitress started off by seating the five of us in a booth only suited for four. The waitress was nice enough to offer to bring us a chair for the end of the table when it was clear we wouldn't fit. That was probably the only positive experience. The waitress was slow and not knowledgeable. We at one point watched our drinks sit on the bar for ten minutes; we thought that we would have to get them ourselves. The food was terrible. We ordered nachos and I almost cried. :( Six pieces of tortilla with a bit of cheese. Very sad. However, the worst bit of the evening was when we had a friend show up as we were leaving. We had been sitting out in the aisle the whole time we were there, as previously mentioned. As soon as this extra friend showed up, we were basically asked to leave, as they "could not have anyone sitting in the aisle". We were on our way out, and the waitress had told us we could sit there to begin with; we felt it exceptionally rude that we were told that we were being inappropriate. We had been there for over an hour, occupying said aisle. Won't go back.

Very disappointed with my food here. I ordered potato skins and they were extremely dry. I'm not sure what they did, or didn't do, to them. It's almost as if they heated them up and kept refreezing them. Barely gave any sour cream too. Had the bruschetta chicken pasta too and that was okay but I've had better from different Friday's locations. Maybe this should be more like a 0 star review because the food was disgusting.

One of the worse Fridays I've been to. Had two appetizers and had one drink and I was there for over an hour and a half. I felt bad cause there was only one waiter and one bus guy but their no apologies about the wait. 1st of the endless apps was okay then after waiting over 30mins for the second one it tasted awful. Only thing they got going for them their drinks are strong if you like that.

I had their classic cheeseburger which was very delicious. Good service although it took a while for the food to come. I even got a free piece of cheesecake with singing for my birthday! Perfect place, no waiting time.
