I’ve been eyeballing this restaurant for a few weeks now, and I finally tried it out. And I must say ITS WORTH IT! they have a wide variety of items to choose from on their menu which is good, the prices are good for the size portion of food you get and the servers are very understanding and helpful! Good first time experience for me. I will return!

Google
I’m a sucker for pad see ew/drunken noodles and theirs don’t disappoint!! Their tofu is super tasty too. Servers are friendly and food is typically quick. The A/C was super chilly last time we were in but I should’ve brought a jacket. This is one of my favorites restaurants in town!! I love their plants too ☺️

Google
The atmosphere is so cute and clearly put together with love. Customer service is excellent, very kind staff and they take care of you throughout your meal, ample water and drink refills and whatnot. Food is good, a little mild in flavor and spice, but not bad. Prices are very fair too. Food could be better but for the prices, excellent service and clean/cozy atmosphere it's well worth supporting.

Thanks Janjira, food is awesome !!! Can't wait for the food truck ! Lemon drop martini/ Yellow curry fried rice w/ chicken along with Thai crispy wings is a winner !!! We will see you again.

Very nice atmosphere. The food was excellent! The service was great! I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was nice to have a different style of food to choose from. It was my first time trying a Thai restaurant, and we will definitely be going back! Thank you for such a great experience!

The service was very welcoming and great. The ambiance of inside is beautiful. My food order was green papaya salad, and panang curry salmon. I love fish sauce, but the one used on the green papaya salad tasted much different than what I am used to. I didn't like it. The panang salmon was mostly water. Not like a curry at all. It was instant curry I was told. That's ok, but what I had was like milk water with a little bit of instant curry added. The salmon was crispy hard fried. The rice was as much as you might cook at home. I had a few bites of everything, but I couldn't continue. I didn't like to complain about the food to the amazing waitress. She took it back and they charged me full price for everything. $35. I left her a $5 tip. $40 for a few bites that I didn't like.

Okay here we go again. This week I went to Thai Bistro & Bar. As I walked in to this establishment i notice that it was really appealing. The decorations were beautiful bring in the elegance of Thailand. Now to the service I went with a friend that is Asian her self. What I thought was going to be a great experience turn sour very quickly. After scrolling through the menu we were ready to order. The waitress I though seemed annoyed by the fact that A black man were with an Asian woman. After ordering our meals I said thank you several times as the waitress was standing there. With no reply mind you. My friend notice as well as I did I simply told her to ignore it. The food on my side was good mixed vegetables and chicken with streamed rice. My friend's not so much as she accidentally forgot to tell the waitress that she is allergic to shrimp. All attitude is what we received next. After going and changing the food out. She brings back the same food but just took the shrimp out. My friend couldn't eat it because they threw chicken in the same shrimp broth SMH. Tom Tum Goong is what she ordered by the way. It was cold and barely any chicken in it. She started breaking out from it but now okay thank God. Well if it wasn't for that very depressing service and low quality of the food she received. I would come back but absolutely no way that will happen. 11/2 stars Please check the attitude and stop trying to take tips out of people's bank accounts that felt like you didn't deserve it.

Google
I really don’t know how this place doesn’t have a lower rating. Great atmosphere and decor, friendly waitress, but something was just so seriously off about the food. The pad Thai wasn’t horrible, it was eatable, but the worst I’ve ever had. Something was not right. And the yum yum sauce too, like it had been sitting out, was very jelly- like. My friend ordered the fried rice, and something was seriously off about that too! We tried giving each others food a taste and fresh opinion, and it was not good. When brining attention to the flavorless rice, our waitress was very kind. But they took the bowl, disseapeared with it and then the chef brought the same bowl of rice back, defending it saying we just didn’t get it spicy enough because we didn’t want it spicy, but the issue wasn’t the spice, it was the lack of flavor completely. The chef even brought own her own meal of fried rice to our table to say “see, look, mine is spicy and looks better, you probably just needed more spice.”

Yelp
I've been traveling a lot of late, and have tried several times to have some Thai food. I finally had a great meal! I had the Panang Curry. And an order of Pad See Ew. Both were good sized helping. You still need to watch how spicy you like it. I like the spice and ordered lvl 6. It was mild for me but with the luck I've had lately I thought it best to be cautious. I did get to speak with one of the cooks, and let him know how good it was. Keep up the good work! It was a great surprise to find.

Yelp
I have been to this place before and now I am Reviewing it. The service is always fast and friendly, and the waitress made sure to really take care of me. The singha was on special for $4, which is fantastic. The building is in a strip mall, but the inside is cute and authentic. Try this place!

Yelp
This place is a must when I'm in Evansville! The food is to die for. It is the best comfort food ever! The staff is beyond friendly! The owner is great! The decor is fabulous and inviting. Good for families, couples and friends. Love the name change also! Can't wait to revisit.

Yelp
First time eating at Thai Bistro. We are seasoned Thai food connoisseurs and we were quite surprised to receive one curry dish medium spice that was on point, and the other curry dish was also to be seasoned medium. It was so spicy, I started coughing the first bite in my mouth. I asked our server if something could be done. Instead of offering to redo the dish, it became all the reasons why I was wrong and the chef was right. They supposedly did something to "calm" it down, but I still couldn't stand it. You will get a very, very small serving of rice and pay $1 extra for a few pieces of chopped chicken. Also, do not go when they open because apparently they do not prep before opening time. We waited 35 minutes for two curry soups and only two other people in the entire restaurant when we ordered. I love to give good reviews, but this was a huge disappointment. Ambiance: there was distinct sewage smell in the front part of the restaurant when we arrived and when we left. That should have been a "sign" not to eat there at all. They could improve on customer service.

Yelp
Love this place. Crispy pork belly appetizer is a must have. Pad Kee Mao is probably as good as it gets for the area.

Yelp
Always the best food, great authentic taste. Service is always speedy and courteous. Very warm and appealing prices and atmosphere

Yelp
I had Pad Thai. It was delicious. The service was outstanding. I will definitely return.

Yelp
Ate here today for the first time, and it won't be the last! I had the Pad Thai, and my husband had the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles), both with chicken. We also ordered a couple spring rolls. Everything arrived quickly, and was hot, fresh, and delicious! The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and inviting. We did have to wait a bit for drink refills, but other than that, the service was excellent! Highly recommend!

Yelp
The food was good but I ordered the lettuce wraps. They seriously used frozen vegetables with the chicken. Not impressed and it tasted like frozen veggies. Disappointed.

Yelp
Excellent experience from the time we walked in the door; service, decor, food. Literally every person working (and a couple younger kids who happened to be there) greeted us hello, thanks for coming, hope you enjoyed, etc. Really wish the place was closer to where we live, but will definitely make the trip to come back.

Yelp
Had a basil dish with minced meat (beef). Upped the temp to hot. This was fairly mild compared to what I was expecting. More like a 3 on a 1-5 scale. Also had the chicken satay but the peanut say was more like peanut soup. It needs to thicker, so it's able to cover the chicken.

Juliauna H.

Yelp
10/10 the yellow curry is soooo good! Our waitress was really nice and always checked on us:)

Sarah F.

Yelp
Charming decor. Nice big space. Lunch specials provided enough for leftovers. Both the red curry and the Tom Kha had excellent flavor. Heads up, the fresh spring rolls come with some kind of honey sauce instead of the usual peanut sauce. The honey sauce was okay, just not the peanut sauce we love and were expecting.

Yelp
Best food I have ever tried in Evansville. As a California native this is the place to go for the best quality

Alex S.

Yelp
What a lovely surprise. First time coming to this restaurant. 10/10. Staff were very helpful, food was amazing, and so were the drinks. We got pad Thai, drunken noodles, peanut curry, curry wontons, and pork dumplings. It was very clean inside and decorated adorably. It was an unexpected finding for the area it was in. I'll definitely be back!!

Donna C.

Yelp
In my first visit here a few months ago, I tried the chicken satay and yellow curry with beef (spice level medium). The peanut sauce on the satay was very runny, with bland flavor. Likewise with the yellow curry sauce -- super thin and runny. My friend wanted to try out this restaurant, so I came here a second time, repeating the meal choices I had before. This time I asked for a spice level of "Thai hot." It was more flavorful than "medium" but the sauces were still extremely runny -- more like watered down soup instead of a sauce. Very disappointing. If I had a good option, I'd be eating Thai food three times a week -- but this restaurant is NOT a good option. I don't recommend this place. Service is good, but the food is not.

Yelp
I discovered this gem at lunch and had an excellent meal at this delicious family-owned restaurant. The service was terrific and our server was able to guide us through the spice levels. I had the Red Curry lunch special, medium spice. The heat level was perfect, but I could've gone for more spice. The space is open and comfortable with lots of seating. Also, they are open on Monday when everything else in Evansville is closed. I highly recommend this spot.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The Tom Yum was the best I've had and the bowl is so big! We also had dumplings and spring rolls which were delicious. Definitely would recommend this place! Service was great and the atmosphere was very nice and clean.

Yelp
I ordered on DoorDash for pickup. Receiving my order was quick and easy. The food was great. The inside of the restaurant was a vibe. Overall great place, and probably the best Thai food in the Evansville area.

Morgan B.

Yelp
INCREDIBLE! Gorgeous restaurant, wonderful staff, delicious food! Must try!!! Our new favorite restaurant here in Evansville!

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
Excellent. Will be happy to go back Crabmeat Rangoon with cucumber sauce is a winner.

Brian S.

Yelp
Ordered online and picked up Gai Pad King (Ginger Chicken) under stir fried options for entree. Also ordered appetizer of Moo Ping (3 Pork Skewers) $26. May have been less had I ordered over phone vs online (Grub Hub-pick up) Taste was good on both. Especially liked sauce that came with skewers. Service was great. I got there a bit early and expected to wait a bit for completion of order. Walked in and was immediately helped. Second waitress asked again if I had been helped. Restaurant was BEAUTIFUL with a garden area with plants, nice, wooden seating booths, and modern, sturdy tables. Ambiance VERY NICE. Only complaint has to do with amount of food for price. TBH, after finishing meal back at hotel, I was left feeling hungry still. Also sauce on entree was not thickened but watery

Faith C.

Yelp
Ordered takeout from here. Was well over impressed with the food. Will be back for sure.

Yelp
Nov. 9 Dinner: Great service, Wonderful menu, Food was fresh, tasty and temperature was hot. You can order your preferred level of spice. Brewed Ice Tea and Liquor license is coming soon. Huge clean, modern restaurant.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place because it's been awhile since I've had some great pad Thai. They just moved to this location and the inside was clean and well decorated. The pad Thai was just ok for me. It was way too sweet for my liking with no spice level. It was a great disappointment. That said, this is just my opinion and my boyfriend loved his spicy fried rice.
