Thai Esane

Thai Esane is a cool spot inside the food hall in downtown Nashville. The food hall has tons of options, but I chose Thai Esane for some tasty Thai food. Even though it was super busy, my red curry with chicken and rice came out pretty fast. The food was delicious, and I was really happy with the quality. There are lots of places to sit and enjoy your meal, which is great. If you like Thai food, I definitely recommend checking out Thai Esane. I was pleasantly surprised!

Pad Thai had no flavor at all aside from the lime juice I had to use Herculean strength to squeeze on. The noodles were soggy and chicken was spongy (see pic). The chicken tasted like the kind you’d get in a prepackaged salad. Also ordered this during happy hour that’s posted everywhere in the food hall that leads to a link advertising that this would be $10 but I was charged full price, which would be fine if it actually tasted good! Hate to be bashing a local business but it’s a red flag when a Thai place can’t do pad Thai.

AVOID. I got pad Thai, I think I would have enjoyed my lunch more if I just had Panda Express. It’s not good, it has nothing in it, chicken, a ton of green onions, noodles, 5 sprouts that are not bite size. $21 for this and a soda.

I only ordered the egg rolls and they were the best, I loved them! They tasted similar to spring rolls (which I love) at a Chinese restaurant. The skin was thinner than a Chinese egg roll.

Got the pad see ew. Noodles were rubbery and virtually tasteless, the tofu was similar. There was also very little sauce, so everything was rather dry. The Thai tea was good, at least.

The lady at cashier is very nice and efficient but the food is nowhere close to thai food. They are using fake chicken ? I mean the chicken is uniformly in square shape… Very small portion. Go somewhere else.

Food was just okay, needed more sauce and lacked flavor. I didn't like the texture of the chicken at all. They were out of the rolls I wanted. Just an okay experience, I'd try another place in the food hall if I come again.

I came by with my sister during a trip to Arizona and honestly the service was so nice. The guy working was very polite and kind and the food was quick to come. He told us that just opened and honestly it already seems awesome. The food was pretty good. I did find it not too spicy even tho I asked for extreme spices but that’s cause I’m spice obsessed 😂. The crab Rangoon was heavenly tho. Like I ate that up so fast. Overall I definitely would come again if I come to Arizona again.
