A family-owned kitchen at Soma Towers known for crispy garlic chicken, three-flavor trout, and easygoing cocktails. It’s a practical downtown choice before shows or errands, with friendly service and steady hours confirmed on the restaurant’s site and recent traveler write-ups.

Great food, especially the appetizers/side dishes at happy hour! The happy hour periods are odd to me, 5-7 and 9-closing, but I'm not complaining haha. The green beans hit the spot, and the crispy pork was amazing. The mains were not as outstanding, but still solid. We'd go back just for the green beans :) Only complaint is the somewhat slow service

Google
My husband had the crispy garlic chicken and I had that fried rice with chicken. I think the crispy garlic chicken had been premade then rewarmed. There wasn’t any extra sauce on it-the sauce had been completely absorbed by the chicken and was super dry. Our food also came out in about 3 minutes flat. The fried rice was okay but very average-tasted more like Chinese take out fried rice.

Google
I absolutely love thai food and Thai Grill hit it out of the park. I was also taking my boyfriend to get thai for the very first time. The thai iced tea was so good. I really enjoyed the pad see ew and my boyfriend liked the crispy garlic chicken. Our waitress was super kind. I will definitely be back next time we are in Bellevue!

Delicious food, great service, perfect ambiance! Authentic Thai food that tastes great. Our server was attentive and the price was reasonable. Will be back to try other dishes.

I’ve lived on the Eastside for years, don’t sleep on this place! It’s hiding amongst all the Bellevue construction but it’s some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the area. Food was delicious, service was great! This restaurant is family owned and it has a bar. Would be a great spot to stop in for dinner and drinks after work.

Google
First time here. Can't believe I haven't tried this place yet. Food was fresh and delicious. Happy hour menu had great options and went to 7pm! Food came out quick and service was very attentive too. I definitely will go back.

Yelp
Thai restaurant in downtown Bellevue. It's located at the Soma Towers adjacent a small food court. Mid size space with very modern decor, and all glass windows on front side of the restaurant. Menu has all the standard Thai favorites you find in a US Thai restaurant, along with a selection of cocktails and beverages. Heard from someone that their pad see ew was good so got that with beef as protein, and also got an order of the crispy pork belly appetizer which was $7 during happy hour. The pork belly are in little chunks and are definitely pretty crispy. Portion is appetizer-sized, but for $7 it ain't bad. As for the pad see ew ($16-17), I got it in medium spice level, and it was only a little bit spicy. Good flavors though, and the wide sheet noodles really soaked it in. However, the portion seem smaller compared to other folks in my party who ordered fried rice. Overall, decent meal.

Yelp
We were looking for a new to us thai place to try and found Thai Grill on Yelp. Based on the great reviews we decided to try it. The interiors and the service is great. The food was a disappointment. We got Chicken Satay, Thai grill fried rice, and Pad thai. The Chicken Satay was bland, we wished it had more flavor. Thai Grill fried rice was okay, Pad Thai was a bit mushy. Overall, a bit of a disappointment.

Yelp
Love coming to this modern Thai spot in Downtown Bellevue! I appreciate the minimalist decor and bar setting. Our bartender Chans provided great service and the owner David is super welcoming. The Pad Thai is super tasty -- top recommendation besides their Espresso Martinis. I've been before and I'll be back again!

Yelp
I frequent Thai Grill very often due to convenience -- I live upstairs. Their pad see ew and crab delight is delicious and my favorite. Their version of crispy garlic chicken is not to my liking, but I'm sure many enjoy it. For me, the sauce overpowers the natural garlic taste of a fried based chicken. Friends have commented that their Thai iced tea is also delicious. Tonight, though, was a disappointment and something to point out. I was waiting for my order and the waitress (whom I've never seen before) coughed the entire time while standing at the food line (where they grab the plates from the cooks). It was honestly pretty disgusting to hear her cough so much, and never wash her hands when she picked up the plates. I work at a hospital so I'm big on germs, hygiene, etc, especially since it involves food safety and our own health. This requires serious retraining of the staff and maybe even owners.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here for dinner this past week; this was our second time at Thai Grill. Thai Grill is located in Downtown Bellevue. They have a parking garage and accept restaurant validation from Thai Grill. It is in the same complex as a poke shop and Hui Lau Shan (mango dessert place). There is also limited street parking out in the front. The atmosphere is trendy and modern. However, it's pretty casual. They don't have paper menus and so you have to order via QR code using the ToastTab app. I ordered the Rama Noodle with chicken, very hot (the highest star rating they had). My boyfriend ordered the pad see ew and garlic green beans. Both orders came out within 15 minutes of ordering. The Rama Noodle was drenched in a creamy peanut sauce with a distinct red curry taste. The sauce wasn't overly sweet which I was grateful for. Even though I chose "Very Hot" for spice level, the dish tasted more like three stars max (then again, I usually order 4-5 star dishes at most Thai restaurants). The spinach was cooked perfectly and there was a good amount of protein. The noodles are extra wide (and not just chow fun noodles) which I thoroughly enjoyed. The Pad See Ew used the same extra wide noodles as the Rama. They were well coated in sweet soy sauce and came with Chinese broccoli and carrots which added a nice crunch to the dish. The Garlic Green Beans were HUGE. They were long and about 1/4 inch in diameter. They were tasty and had fried garlic on top of them. Portions for all three dishes were generous. Service was great and the waitress came over to check in on us several times. Overall: 4/5 for food, 4/5 for atmosphere, 4/5 for service.

Yelp
It was a good experience the first couple of times, but we got some take out today and it was awful. 1) the crab rangoons were totally burnt and there was barely any stuffing 2) some of the dishes were overcooked, particularly the cashews were nearly burnt 3) the quantity was very deceptive - the seafood special had a bunch of aluminum stuffed underneath a thin layer of seafood. It looks a good sized portion when you open the box, but the portion is way too small for the price. 4) we asked for a 4 star spice level and everything was bland. Overall, an awful experience that I will totally avoid in the future. High price, poor quality cooking, deceptively small portions - bad combination. Sorry, pictures were taken midway through the meal after the disappointment set in. :(

Yelp
Came here around 1pm on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. Only two other groups. The bartender was also our server and hostess. The interior is really nice and had a chill ambience. The Thai tea, pad thai, crab ragoon, and Thai tea was really solid, but not mind blowing. The only thing was that the Panang curry was on the more liquidy side. The food came out fast and our server was friendly and on it.

Yelp
Had a great dinner at this restaurant. We had stir fry beans, Thai grill fried rice, pineapple fried rice and red curry. Taste 10/10. Service was quick. Ambience is cute looking, good for date night. They have a small bar set up. Would definitely visit again to try some of their noodles. Unfortunately I forgot to click pictures of what I ate. This rarely happens. Next time will definitely share pictures

Yelp
Convenient to dine at if one happens to be nearby. We two had dinner before attending an event next-door. SERVICE: 4.0. Friendly and accurate. AMBIANCE: 3.0. Plenty of tables and bar seating. High ceiling. Wall-to-ceiling windows on one side. Concrete floor. FOOD: 3.5. - Fresh Rolls with plum sauce: 3.0. A bit bland: would have used more basil. - Thai Basil (entrée) with Medium spiciness: 3.0. Barely tasted spiciness; otherwise fine. - Panang Curry (entrée) with Medium spiciness, with pork: 3.5. Quite spicy; I would order it again.

Yelp
I ordered Vegetarian red curry to go. What I got was chicken pieces as I was working my way through the food. When I went back and showed them the curry container with chicken, their response was shocking. Far from being apologetic, they were like why did you eat some of the curry! Coz the pieces were at the bottom, dumbo. Never going here again.

Yelp
Really clean space with a cute bar area! We hosted a group of 10 for dinner and they were able to accommodate us near the front of the store by merging a bunch of tables. I'm not a Pad Thai person but every-time, I try a couple bites whenever folks get it, yes we did family style. This was probably the best pad Thai I've had on the east side, it's not dry at all or too strong in tamarind/fish sauce flavor. I also loved the green curry a lot, super delicious and portions are actually decent for their price for Bellevue! I would definitely come back. Their chicken wings and satay both were sooo good, must get appetizers. We only ended up paying $25/pp (8 people) for food and we ordered a lot. Their drinks are decently priced and super yummy! If you like fruity drinks where you can't really taste the alcohol, lots of good choices here.

Yelp
Came here for a casual lunch with friends. This place is conveniently located in downtown Bellevue and close to the bus station. The restaurant was spacious and clean, and the food was reasonably priced and reasonably portioned. Our favorite was the crab ragoon which was so crispy and stuffed with cream cheese. The service here was slightly slow due to the lack of working servers, but eating here was overall positive and casual.

Yelp
Decent food, but ordered to go for a tofu cause I don't eat meat and got chicken. Just ate the spinach and noodles. Otherwise everyone seems to be nice there upon pick up!

Yelp
Thai Grill is an easily accessible and friendly restaurant with great Thai Food and drinks Food is above average we had the pad thai and panang curry. Very exceptional for Seattle. Not the peak culinary but more homey and comforting food. I would recommend this place if you are in the area and want great service, great speed, and good food.

Yelp
It's nice to find an affordable lunch combo during the work day. They have wide variety of different options. I ended up getting lunch combo C with chicken the first time. An the broccoli chicken the second time.
google avatar

Sahitya M.

Yelp
The Thai grill fried rice is the best here ! We thoroughly enjoyed it and they can make most of the fried rice and curries vegan! I love the fact that they take their time to make the vegan food separately to avoid cross contamination

Yelp
This was one of my favorite go to places at their old location on 8th street Bellevue. I am so glad they reopened in the Soma Towers Locations. This time around they have a full bar Venue is very spacious, you can host a large group for lunches. Their deco and interior design is very contemporary and hip. Menus are available online and they have all your favorite menu options from Pad Thai to a variety of curry options. They just opened so it was empty as people are still finding out about them. I live across the road so have been stalking them to open. Went here for lunch had a the crab wontons, shrimp pad Thai and pad see aw. My pad see aw was fresh and spicy. I went for two stars and found my food to be hot. Note to self, next time, 1 star it is. Veggies were perfectly cooked and tofu was made to perfection. My friend had the shrimp Phad Thai and bragged how tasty it was. Everything we ate was fresh and tasty. Price point is comparable to any Thai restaurant but this place not only has the quantity but quality of food is there as well. Service was good, we were being checked up on continuously. Beverage options, they don't carry your normal iced tea but have Thai tea available. Parking - there is street parking or you can park in the building for free. Overall new clean space with friendly staff, great customer service and yummy food. I will be back for sure.

Yelp
We were on vacation July 4th week for a cruise and stopped in here for lunch. It was delicious! We had the pot stickers and Thai pad noodles! And the drinks with umbrellas were awesome! Great service too. Enjoy!

Larry B.

Yelp
The food was delicious. They brought everything out in order and in a timely manner. Thea restaurant is small with a cozy feel to it. Shout out to the chef and staff!

Kevin M.

Yelp
This has to be some of the most unflavorful food I've ever had in my life.I tasted nothing. I was really disappointed because I traveled to Bellevue to try the Thai food. Just awful.

Josh B.

Yelp
I ordered a phad see ew hot. Not spicy at all. It was also a smaller portion than I was expecting. It was still pretty good for what it was, but there are better options for the same price around Bellevue.

Yelp
This place is close to home so I decided to check this place for lunch. I got the pad Kee mao with chicken and pork as well as a Thai iced tea The pad Kee mao was a little too saucy for my taste but it was ok. I like that they put bamboo shoots in there as not many people do that. Also I'm not sure if I got any pork because it seem just mostly chicken. The Thai iced tea was refreshing. I usually don't do Thai iced tea so I can't say if it was authentic or not but it was refreshing on a hot day but it was on the sweeter side for my taste. Price was ok. Overall, average place

Yelp
You order from your phone which takes out the whole thing. Where you have to flag down the waitstaff for something. The food is pretty good although a bit pedestrian. Easy to park and quick service.
google avatar

Katy L.

Yelp
The food was incredible BUT. The first set of "Crab Delight" had a hair in the first bite (as pictured), to which the host gave me another batch (did not offer a refund, only make a new one). The portions of soy sauce were about a teaspoon for a whole dish. And then for my takeout, the to-go container he brought me was greasy and oily (also pictured). We also only saw our server when he brought the food out when we were the only ones in the establishment.

Swetha C.

Yelp
Food was ok the thai fried rice was good but the pineapple fried rice is very bad can definitely improve the quality & taste.

Diane L.

Yelp
Take out order missing item. Crispy Garlic Chicken is soggy and wrong. Not a fan of the yellow curry. I paid $120 for food, and I felt shorted.
google avatar

Juyoung L.

Yelp
Came for lunch, ordered the beef noodle soup. I was a little surprised because it wasn't what I had expected, it was basically pho, they gave me sriracha and hoisin sauce on the side too. A little odd to see pho sold at a Thai restaurant to be honest. The spicy beef combo was good, had a little side of phad Thai. Tasty. I was honestly just thrown off by the pho. I think they could have named it Vietnamese beef noodle soup or something at the very least because I just hadn't expected to eat pho at a Thai place. I will come back to try other things but just wanted to note that the beef noodle soup is just pho.

Mark F.

Yelp
The food and service were good. I was quite impressed. I had the Tom Kah soup which was one of the better versions I have had.
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
We went on a weekday for dinner and it was pretty empty. The ambiance was good with nice, new decor and also very clean. The food was also not bad. We ordered the crab delight, beef Phad Thai, and beef Thai Basil. It was averagely portioned and the Phad Thai was a little greasy, but overall the food was enjoyable. The Happy Hour looks like a good deal though so I will definitely be swinging by again to try it out.

Yelp
Perfect pad see ew! Their tofu is delicious. Fast service, nice looking interior. I'm looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
Had a great meal here. Reasonably priced and freshly made dishes with nice cocktails. Owner was working hard and was super friendly - atmosphere is nice and this is a newer spot in Bellevue so get out and give it a try!

Yelp
Thai Grill has the BEST Thai food. The owner made us feel very welcome. Parking was easy in the garage below. Try them soon before word gets out about his great Thai Grill is. The prices are reasonable too, The bar is nice too.
google avatar

Rei T.

Yelp
Food was food. Was pretty bland in all honesty. I wouldn't take a date here or recommend this place to a friend. The restaurant looks nice inside overall. More of a modern restaurant than authentic Thai food. The service was pretty good. They did miss the fried egg on our Thai basil.
google avatar

Dee M.

Yelp
We got the chicken satay and Panang curry with chicken. The staff is super nice and food was also yum.

Yelp
It's a new place and had opened last week itself. We tried lot of food and all were delicious. It had lot of space and currently it was not so many people. Ambience is very modern feel with comfortable seating . We reached while it was happy hours , took beans and egg rolls from happy hours and rest from regular menu Beans were very nice with ginger and nut on top. Egg roll : they were pretty standard as you get egg rolls Pad Thai chicken : took that for kids and kid liked it , thought color of normal pad Thai is dark and this was very light but taste was decent. Pad kemmo : this was nice but quantity was less for 2 people Cashew tofu : it was delicious had vegetables with some sauce. Tom yum soup : this was nice but it was not vegetarian as it had fish broth . Luckily we asked but server was not aware of it was vegetarian at first after asking what all it have came to know it's have fish broth . Fresh roll : they were fresh and made vegetarin with tofu . Peanut sauce was delicious . Defiantly recommend this place and try out food. Just make sure if you are vegetarian you should ask on stick and sauce used to confirm . Parking is street side

Zezhen X.

Yelp
The food is very salty.. almost uncomfortable to eat. The crab fried rice uses imitation crab, the first ever from a thai place I have ever went. They were trying to close the shop 40 min before the closing time, and we can smell the bleach in the air..
google avatar

Lacey S.

Yelp
We went here for a family dinner with our 3 kids, and we will continue to do so but the ambience seemed like a date night spot as well, and they have a full bar with super fun cocktail choices. The food was amazing, and even my picky eater loved it all, and ate some vegetables without complaining. The service was great, they even brought the kids cups with lids and special forks (making our dinner much less stressful). We got the handmade eggrolls and crab delight to start and will def get these everytime we go. Entrees were amazing and a great value. We got the grilled chicken combo and the chicken was cooked perfectly plus it came with sticky rice which my kids LOVED, and papaya salad, which i had never tried but i will definitely order again. We also got Phad thai, cashew nut chicken, and thai grill fried rice, all flavorful, good portions, and worth getting again. Desert we got the mango sticky rice and it was so good that my kids said i need to learn how to make it at home

Bella H.

Yelp
There was a hair in my food... questionable. And on top of that, I KNOW that those cooks don't wear hairnets in the back - I saw them through the window. Will not be coming back!
google avatar

Jewel B.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant today for the third time. The first visit was great, the second was not so great, but I wanted to give them another chance. Come to find out, the fried rice I ordered the second time, was not the same as the first, they explained the difference, now I know to order the Thai Rice, it is great and the Seafood is off the chain, of course I get extra seafood. I was so blessed today unexpectedly a lovely couple who didn't know me, covered my meal, what blessing, I wish them well. I have moved from Bellevue area, but I will surely return to that restaurant. Keep up the good work

Yelp
Very good food, service and atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again when in Bellevue.

Hilary T.

Yelp
I went there for the first time today and I was immediately welcomed by a young friendly gentleman. I was dining by myself and he made me comfortable. He recommended the wings as an appetizer. They were delectable! For my main entree I ordered the panang curry. It was so delicious! I washed everything down with a delightful lychee martini. The atmosphere was so inviting. I will return!!! I want to go in with friends next time and get a variety of items.

Yelp
If you are looking for a comfort food, quick bite to eat, while also being at a modernly-casually designed restaurant... then this is the place to be! I really enjoyed the quick service. It was nice using the QR code, to order and pay. The food was all very delicious, fresh, good quality ingredients. I am definitely eating here more often! I had the red curry and my hubs had Phad Thai.

R D.

Yelp
Thai Grill is located in a partitioned space that appears to be previously part of a food court. There is underground parking below the restaurant. It is free for the 1st hour but they make it difficult to find the parking payment machine hidden in the elevator enclosure. We were pretty hungry and desperate by the time we entered the restaurant. On a Friday at 3pm, there were only two other parties dining in and they were wrapping up their meal. Though the restaurant was supposed to be new-ish, it already showed signs of poor maintenance and wear and tear. The table, floor and windows were filthy, splattered with food and grease. The waiter seemed annoyed that I would not scan their QR code to review the menu. He reluctantly brought me a menu printed on a piece of 11x17. It was crinkled and covered with food and oil stains. It was definitely not an upscale vibe. The dishes were all around $17 with the option of adding extra protein and rice at $3-4 more. We ordered the green curry with eggplant and cashew chicken. Each were $17 per entrée. The portion was modest. The curry included two small pieces of eggplant and paltry amount of everything else. The chicken in the cashew chicken was similar to the curry, thinly sliced and not enough of it. What surprised me most wasn't that the dishes were way too sweet but that they added dry red pepper flakes to the curry instead of cooking the dish with chili paste. The rice served was not fluffy but instead had burnt parts as if scrapped from old rice. Despite the average fare in an average setting, we cleaned off our plates to try to get our money's worth and not feel ripped off. There was also not any real service. The "waiter" gave me the paper menu, brought our food and then asked us at the end if we needed anything. We chose not to leave a tip as it was not deserved based on food nor service.

Yelp
My girlfriend & I stopped by today cause we noticed the Grand Opening sign outside. It did not disappoint at all! Great tasty Thai food! You can taste the freshness in the food. Plus, great environment & service. Will be back soon!

Yelp
Let me start by saying a 3 star review to me means it's not great or bad. Just meh. I ordered a lunch combination and Paneng curry is available on Wednesdays. So after I asked for "mild" not spicy, I was somewhat taken back by the hotness. The curry sauce that typically will be poured over my rice would remain in the bowl. The Phad Thai noodles had lots of finely chopped nuts(my fav) but a little greasy No return here. Friendly staff though! $11.50.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is fresh and delicious. Top notch Thai food in downtown Bellevue. Great service and ambience.

Linda B.

Yelp
The food was amazing! So fairly priced especially if you are a local and want a quick bite to eat to satisfy your Thai cravings. Server was really nice and the ambiance felt like an upscale restaurant even though the restaurant was small.
google avatar

Yelp
Thai grill is our favorite Thai restaurant in all of Seattle! We make it a point to eat here every time we visit from Austin. The food is amazing and spice level perfect for the beginner to the advanced. Every entreé we've tried has not disappointed so guessing we'll be back soon!!

Renee S.

Yelp
I love Thai food and this restaurant is my favorite! You have to try the fresh rolls (to die for) and sautéd green beans (also to die for). Great wines also local! Happy hour menu five stars. Locally owned and staff was very gracious.... Let's support our community!
