This Thai restaurant is easily one of the best when it comes to both flavor and price. I wasn’t even thinking about service or atmosphere – just the food itself – and it absolutely stands out. The yam woon sen, shrimp fried rice, pad thai, and other dishes are all made with fresh ingredients and full of authentic flavor. Every bite tastes clean and well-balanced, never heavy or greasy. What makes it even better is the price. The dishes are very reasonably priced compared to many other Thai restaurants, yet the quality is just as good, if not better. You really feel like you’re getting great value for what you pay. On top of that, the chef works quickly, so you don’t end up waiting long before your food arrives. It’s nice to have a place where you can enjoy fresh, flavorful Thai food without a long delay. For anyone who loves Thai food and wants both quality and affordability, this spot is definitely one of the top choices. It’s been a while since I last visited, but once again the food was absolutely satisfying. The location isn’t great and the interior is small and simple, but the quality of the dishes more than makes up for it. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The prices are unbelievably reasonable—3 to 4 dishes came out to less than $50, and the portions were very generous. The chef works quickly with amazing skill, and every plate felt like true homemade cooking. This is one of those hidden gems that I always look forward to revisiting. Highly recommended! Second time here and second time we leave happy. The flavors are awesome and prices are fair. We love the curries and had the red curry with chicken…medium spice was perfect. We also had the eggplant with basil and chicken…yum! We are definitely coming back!

This is our forever go to Thai restaurant. We've been to so many around the area until we finally decided to come to this restaurant. Best decision we've ever made. The food is delicious, my favorite is the tom kha goong and the drunken noodle with beef. The flavors are the best in the area. The owner is really friendly and kind. The food comes out quick too. 10/10

One of my favorite Thai places to eat at. I’ve been coming here for years! Every time i get sick, i always place an order of their infamous shrimp noodle soup. It is so delicious! I’m convinced it cures me.Whether it’s me going in to pick up my order or a friend, the owner is always super nice. He already knows why I’m there haha. Last week i walked in right before it closed and he offered me some fresh fruit to take home.

Love Thai and the drunken noodles are my favorite specially spicy with shrimp And #4 season wow I drove from lemoore that’s 4 hours away this place is worthy of it and it has a tv where u can watch family feud and eat at the same time

We just finished eating from this place. It is absolutely awesome. I love this food. The people here are the best. Very polite professional and super nice. The best mango sticky rice I have had yet! - The sticky rice was a fun color of green - Perfect sticky rice to mango ratio - $13.38 Quick and friendly service. Spacious and clean space. I will be coming back to order more of their menu!

Small family owned joint. Pretty attentive nice owner/server. Old school but cozy ambiance. Food was amazing for price and tasted more authentic than others (thai food lover). Pad see ew was flavorful and noodles were bouncy, and tom yum soup was soothing and tasty. Highly recommend giving it a try. Plenty of parking and not so busy.

been coming here for almost 5yrs now since moving in the city & Bob has always been so professional & is an amazing chef. easy going, super friendly, answers questions & even makes suggestions on dishes. food is always yummy & always have a happy belly eating here. keep up the amazing cooking.

We came in after a dental appointment because we wanted our normal Thai but we were to far. So we saw this one and came in. It's a bit slow on Saturday morning from what we saw but it was a nice calm environment. We ordered the Tom Yum seafood soup value meal and chose pad see ew and Kung pao. The soup was delicious a nice flavor . The pad see ew was good too and the kung pao as well. The serving is family meal portions so for just as two it was a bit too much. We left full and with leftovers . Really good place to come for some soup!

My favorite is the yellow curry with tofu but everything my kids and I have tried has been very good. The staff is professional and very nice. They have never messed up my order. And the quality is consistent and delicious ingredients! Highly recommend.

This place was a surprise and a half!! We went there after originally trying to go somewhere else and it was close. So we walked in here not expecting anything, bit that many ppl and only one server. Looks like owners are the servers and cook. So spring roll, fire, pad Thai, fire, everything fire. Seriously need to try!

My spicy string beans were not spicy at all and sauce was okay. Mongolian Chicken was alright. The steamed rice was good. The best things were the spring rolls, they were big and good. Portions are large.

This isn't the best Thai place, this is close to the worst place, but it's nearby to me and cheap. If you're in a pinch, this is an ok place to eat. I ordered the pad see ew and it was overcooked noodles. No bite, all mush.

Great authentic Thai spot in Whittier! My family and I were in search of something new and near our home. Mind you, my husband tells me at 12am that he's craving Thai boat noodles, so I decided to do a Google search. I saw some good reviews so I told my husband we can try if for lunch. So we arrived at the restaurant. A cute little "mom and pop" spot. Very welcoming and "homey". We met Bob our host & server and he told us to sit anywhere. It wasn't busy at all. Since it was our first visit we opted to try a few things, which meant that my husband's craving for Thai boat noodles was soon forgotten. We choose the family meal which was a great deal and a couple other dishes. Check out my review below... 1.Value Meal: Tom Ka Chicken Hot Pot with 2 dishes of our choice, we chose Orange Chicken & Pork Pad Thai. Tom Ka soup - coconut soup base filled with chicken, tomatoes, mushrooms, lemongrass, kaffir leaves. The flavors were a balance of sweet & sour with a slightly creamy texture. It was a great starter for our meal. Orange Chicken - lightly battered with chicken in every bite. The orange flavor was perfect, not too tangy or sweet. My first impression when my husband asked for the orange chicken was, "Why have orange chicken at a Thai spot?" And he tells me, let's try it, they may prepare it differently.. and I have to admit I liked it. This was surprisingly good! 2. Pad Kra Pao Kai - Stir fried ground chicken with basil leaves, green beans and bell pepper, garlic, onion and house special sauce on a bed of rice. My daughter wanted to try this. The flavors were fantastic! I've tried this dish before but forgot how the simple flavors just hit the spot. 3. Papaya salad - Now I've tried many versions of papaya salad and from different restaurants and nothing beats my MIL homemade Khmer style papaya salad, but I still enjoyed this Thai style. Very refreshing with bright flavors and perfect texture, this is a "must-have" for every meal. I just LOOOOVE papaya salad! 4. Mango with sweet sticky rice - also a "must-have" sweet treat. We usually skip dessert after a big meal, but my daughter convinced me to get it. The perfect balance of sweetness from the sticky rice and a slightly tangy and sweetness from the ripe mangoes. It was a great way to end our family meal. My family and I were not disappointed with Thai Noodle House. Enjoyed great conversation with Bob our server and the food was filling, delicious and worth every penny. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. Maybe my husband will finally have his boat noodles lol!

Came here on a rainy day due to some cravings for Thai and i was in the area. The inside looks like a converted Weinershnitzel turned restaurant. Not to eye appeasing, but didnt let that stop me. Food wise, i ordered my go to at the other Thai places i visit, the eggplant and tofu dish with veggies and a side of rice. The wife just ordered some spring rolls. A little weary on that, since the server had to go ask to see if they had any to make. Food was good. Not great. My eggplant dish was good, i ordered it mild, which it was. Only complaint, was the sauce was way to thick, and the eggplant was to mushy and dark colored. The spring rolls were actually pretty good and fresh. And big i might add. Being its a Thai place vs a vietnamese place, not sure why they served them with a sweet orangy sauce vs a peanut sauce for dipping. But it was still good. Also ordered two Thai teas and those were good as well.

Came here to get food for my family as we were evacuated during the LA fires. The guy who served me was disrespectful. I could not see properly (I brought wrong glasses during quick evacuation) and was not sure what to get as my family had unclear suggestions, so I asked for a menu. The guy who served me pretended to look around then said there was no menu and that I had to stand there and look at the menu with small print that was taped on a table (even though I saw stack of menus right behind him on a table in corner). Shortly after asking for a menu, as I was standing there unable to read the menus laid out in small print, he gave 4+ menus to a group who came in. This was very disrespectful, treated me poorly while I could not see, and treated me differently than others. He didnt thank me or even look at me when I paid for the food or when he gave me my food. My experience here was an inhuman impersonal treatment, basically treating fellow people like they are nothing and trash. I can get food anywhere so there would be no need to deal with this sort of disrespect and uncivil bad vibe impolite behavior. Treating people like this when ALL of Los Angeles was FULL of evacuees who were in a disaster or crisis, shows the type of people they are who work here (they do not care about people or principles-only money) . I paid in cash and when I asked for a receipt, he frowned and got annoyed and gave me a receipt with no information on it (not what I ordered or anything) and not even the name of his restaurant. Just numbers. Overall impersonal disrespectful low class experience.

The food was delicious! Give this Resturant a try you won't regret it. I tried it based off the reviews and wasn't disappointed. The drunken noodles to the fried rice was delicious.

I'm surprised at the good reviews this restaurant received! I am so sad that I suggested this place to my friend and we wasted our time and his money! The Fried Squid, Chicken Wings and Chicken Satay were all grossly overcooked! The Shrimp and Scallop dish had no flavor whatsoever and seafood did not taste fresh at all. The combination Fried rice was also flavorless but the worst was the BBQ pork. It was so dry I could barely swallow it. Also, there was no air conditioning and slow service. Highly recommend not going here.

Decided to grab a bite before my nail appointment at Serena studio around the corner. Came in greeted and seated immediately. They still have tables sectioned off for covid reasons. Along with wearing masks. Ordered seas food noodle soup- this was good asked for no squid. I added pickled jalapeños to give it more spicy flavor. But alone the broth was flavorful. Would try different protein option next time. The seafood was a little too fishy for me. Veggie egg rolls- crispy and no complaints there. Thai iced coffee- this was really good! I would get this agin. Creamy not too sweet, the consistency of the drink was really good. Customer service was great, very nice.

My lady and I have been coming here for a little over a decade, it is always a pleasure to come and dine at Thai Noodle House & BBQ! The service is always amazing and very welcoming, the food is excellent!!The owner is always kind and patient with his customers as well as friendly! The restaurant is very clean and very sanitized. I give you a lot of respect for the dedication and passion you have put into the food as well as the restaurant sir. Well done!

I love this place! My family has been coming here for years. The owner is great and the food is delicious. Parking is available and easy to get. The there are about six boths and a few tables down the center. It can get busy around lunch time. My favorites are the shrimp fried rice, pad see ew, and the bbq short rib. I recently tried the dumpling which were delicious. This time we tried the 4 seasons which was like a appetizer sampler.

Varied Experience: Delicious Curry, Disappointing Pad Thai My family and I visited Thai Noodle House on a Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed the basil and beef dish--can't remember what it was called, but it was very spicy and good. Also, the yellow curry was delicious over rice. We were not impressed with the chicken wings--the flavor had potential, but they were very dry and didn't have much meat on them. Regrettably, the pad Thai was pretty gross. It tasted like it had ketchup mixed into it. Very odd. The interior design of the place felt anachronistic. It could use some sprucing up. Our server maintained a professional demeanor regarding the service, though he wasn't very friendly. He efficiently took our order and promptly returned to the kitchen without saying much or even making much eye contact. Like I said before, some of our food was good. But overall it was a solid 3/5 experience and we will not be going back.

Finally good Thai restaurant in my area! I can stop driving all the way to Long Beach now haha I ordered take out today and placed an order of the Tom Kah and Tom Yum soup, bbq pork fried rice and egg rolls. I love Tom kah and their broth is delicious, flavorful and great amount of chicken and mushrooms! My boyfriend said their Tom yum was equally as great and I agree. The fried rice was good, the meat was not dry and a great compliment. The egg rolls were great, I wasn't a fan of the sauce it comes with so I used my sweet chili from home, still tasted good. Thank you for your kindness and amazing food.

Bbq pork fried rice was on point. Service was good too. They were closing but let me order and eat there. Ambiance is chill. Buttery and moist.

This wonderful family owned restaurant has been my favorite for years. The food is always hot, fresh and flavorful. My family and I always enjoy the staples, Tom Yum Seafood soup, Pad See Ewe and Yellow Curry. There are multiple protein options so we can change it up each time. I enjoy my food with lots of chili paste and the pickled jalapeños are the best. I am always happy to support a small business, it is evident the owners take pride in theirs; the customer service is beyond excellent! They are always friendly and welcoming.

Hit the Spot!!! So many places unfortunately aren't delivering the same quality during this Covid quarantine. So I had to change spots for my Thai cravings. Worth the extra 15 min drive. Finally a Thai place that isn't bland and flavorless. Amazing food & Customer service.

This place is good, however, they never seem to add spice even when you ask for it. I have asked for "spicy" level on my dishes and the food is not even a mild level of spice. I have ordered a few times and it's always the same outcome. Other Thai restaurants I have to order "medium" level because it has a good kick to it, but not this place.

I love Thai noodle house The food here is so fire if you come you have to try the chow mein it's so fire. Also the employees are really nice and the service is top tier. I love the mom and pop ambiance of this place and it's at least one of my top 5's.

First time trying and I must say, the portion sizes are generous. The food is flavorful and isn't over cooked and we had our food delivered. The sauce they give with the egg rolls has a flavor that i wish would never end in my mouth. I could've used a bit more acid in my beef salad. Definitely ordering again. Ordered, Egg rolls, eggplant w/ tofu, pineapple fried rice, shrimp pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, and Penang Curry Chicken. Wish I would've ordered dessert.

The wife and I have been coming back often here. We have tried numerous things off the menu and they are all delicious. I can honestly say that I have not had anything that I did not enjoy eating. Don't know what to order, here's some delicious suggestions: Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Cashew Nut, Shrimp Fried Rice, Prik King. Still not sure? The Combination Chow Mein is pretty good as well as the fried dumplings. There are specials that go on Monday - Friday and also lunch and dinner specials that let you get a scoop of rice, a fried wonton and some of a main dish. It is a superb deal and worth every penny. You will not be disappointed. The service is top notch, and they actually care for their customers.

I'd like this place more if it were closer to my parents' house, but not just because it would be more convenient to eat here and also not because the takeout would be hotter once we got home. The interior is interesting and way past its prime. I love these weird oldish '70s places, and the perfectly clean and sanitary (imaginary?) griminess and more or less permanent layer of caked-on grease and cigarette smoke on the walls and old-ship ceiling are misleading--at least to some--because again, they don't make the place dirty or smelly. It's just old, and they give it character. The food is really good. The service is friendly as well, although the food can take quite a while when they're busy, which they often are--another good sign. There's a donut place across the parking lot that is open 24 hours, I believe, so we should all pick up a baker's dozen of donuts after enjoying delicious Thai food from Thai Noodle House & BBQ.

Love how they have veggie options! I ordered the tofu pad thai, it was delicious !! I absolutely love their tofu pad thai. My son always gets the drunken beef.

Really upset with this place! The hours listed on yelp are incorrect - who would think that a restaurant to close at 8:30 on a Saturday night??? The online ordering doesn't shut down when the restaurant won't take orders anymore, so I submitted and was charged for my order thinking I'd have dinner and leftovers for tomorrow. I went to the restaurant, but they would not honor my order and now I have to contact the service they use to fight for my refund. Guess I was supposed to get pho, after all.

My favorite Thai Food! Everything I've ordered is delicious. My favorite is chicken pad see ew and their house fried rice. Service is always inviting and kind. Yum! I recommend if you're up for good food.

Got the Chicken Pad Se Ew. For 8 dollars, I would say that the price is great. However, I'd say that the dish itself was bland and did not have a lot of flavor and was quite oily for what I was expecting. There was a lot of vegetables there too which I was pleased about, but not a whole lot of chicken. The noodles themselves were good though.

Came to Whittier CA and this restaurant was next to hotel we were staying at. They advertise on their website as well as menu that they have spring rolls which is reason we chose to go and eat there. We ordered our dinner but server stated that they don't have spring rolls as cook went home. The food we did order was excellent and enjoyed very much but was really looking forward to the rolls. Asked what time they open and he said 11:00 so waited until noon to order spring rolls to take to room, same server was there and said again the cook was not in and no spring rolls!! Maybe he needs to get another cook or cooks that comes to work on time and stays until your restaurant is closed so you will offer what your menu states.

Awesome.. that's all I have to say. Good food &service. I am happy to pay a bit more to get the attention to detail this wonderful establishment provides. Try it, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

i got the yellow curry and WOW one of the best yellow curry and chicken meal i've ever had! also the worker at the front was so nice and allowed us to dine in even though we had ordered pick up earlier! Great customer service and food and hope to be back soon

We added this place to our "try sometime" list and were pleased to have had the chance to finally eat there. I had the delicious Pad See Ew dish (loved every bite) and my wife had the yellow curry that was also a winner. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes!!!
