Overall, $130 including service charge for my dish, a pathetic small plate + frozen prawns and the flavour is on slightly salty. Not worth the price and not the hype at all. The ambient might be authentic, but with the service, the serving time and the attitude of the servers. It is not worth it.
I arrived the restaurant at 2pm, for 1 person for lunch. The place was considerable not too crowded at this hour, only 4-5 tables was served,
I placed my order by 2:05, along the table beside me around the same time.
My dish, was served 10 mins later with the wrong order. And later was served 2:30pm while the other table beside me ordered the same thing was served much earlier.
Horrible timing, 25 mins wait for a plate of noodle when orders for later customer including multiple takeout was served since I placed my order.
Worst of all, dining at this restaurant you wouldn’t know what price you are paying despite it listed on the menu. When you asked, the server just kept saying its service fee when it is their fault for not stating the right amount in menu.
The menu price $108 for pan fried noodle with wagyu or prawn. I ordered the prawn selection to only find out when I paid my bill that I have to add additional $10 for this. On top of this, they were very rude, the server just held my wrist and pulled me to her manager, which both party did not think they were at fault.
My frustration was simply, if you want to charge extra then officially list on the menu or inform the customer when we place order. She further shared to me, that she had received this complaint multiple times and she will remind the servers to tell customer but they don’t follow instructions. That’s not the consumer problem.
