Cooking Show Star Martin Yan Opens M.Y. Asia on the Las Vegas Strip | Eater Vegas

"Opening March 13 on the Las Vegas Strip inside the newly rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas, this 5,300-square-foot restaurant from James Beard Award–winning, longtime television host Martin Yan presents a casual Pan-Asian concept shaped by his decades of travel. The 150-seat space features rich, deep tones, contemporary Asian murals, an open kitchen where chefs hand-pull noodles and perform a changing-face “kung-fu dance” several times nightly, a noodles bar, a private dining room, a retail area selling Yan’s autograph books and cookware, and warmed lockers for no-contact to-go pickup. The menu highlights include an appetizer of Asian pickled vegetables with Korean- and Vietnamese-style kimchi; shrimp-filled lettuce cups; and a dim sum sampler with shiu mai, har gow, steamed BBQ pork bao, lotus leaf–wrapped rice, seafood dumplings, and farmer’s dumplings. Entrees range from a Thai yellow coconut curry with chicken and mu shu pork tacos with hoisin sauce to a sizzling black pepper steak with mushrooms and a pan-seared Chilean sea bass in jasmine tea with a miso-ginger-honey glaze. An adjacent bar will take on a late-night weekend lounge vibe and serves cocktails such as the Kasama Mama, an M.Y. Paloma, and Lychee in Paradise. Starting March 13, hours will be Monday–Thursday 11 a.m.–11 p.m. and Friday and Sunday 11 a.m.–1 a.m." - Janna Karel

My wife got pad Thai with chicken. She thought it was good. I got the pad see ew with beef and wide noodles. The beef was tough. Almost felt like eating beef jerky. Some of the noodles seemed under cooked. We didn't finish everything so we did reheat some the next day in the microwave. Her pad Thai was still good. My pad see ew, not so much. The green bean app is really good.

Ordered the Pad Thai for delivery and it tasted super weird. Not in the sense like unflavored or no salt, but like it was cooked with chemicals or something. Extremely off-putting and I couldn't even eat it. On top of it, the noodles and tofu were just soaked in oil. Bad all around, wouldn't recommend

Ordered vegetable pad thai and it had BBQ pork in it. This was not a mistake, it was included as like a topping with the peanuts, not as in they mistakenly gave me pork pad thai. Why?!? Order was placed online but nothing in the description mentioned pork or needing to request no pork.

I am SO happy we found Thai paradise. We moved from an area with a lot of Thai food so were looking for a new go to spot and boy have we found it. Our favorites so far are the parang curry, pad see ew, and the Tom kha soup. The spring rolls are amazing too but really everything is delicious and super high quality. If you're in SP this should be your first choice for Thai take out! Great value, quick service, delicious food. Soooo good!

Ordered using a delivery service Paradise Noodles extra noodles. Big mistake ordering extra noodles because it overwhelmed the meal. Mildly greasy meal that had big shrimp, mussels, squid and scallops. Wish I could have customized this to not get the chewy squid and chewy mussels. The veggies were the best thing as were the huge couple of shrimp and decent sized couple of scallops. It wasn't a delicious meal but I know now and I'll order something else next time.

Good Thai tea. Good satay. Love this when we need a quick meal. NO DINE IN. ONLY TAKE OUT.

I ordered a drunken noodles with beef thai spicy. It wasn't spicy. Not even mildly. It was very disappointing since I was craving something spicy.

I love the pad thai and green curry. But recently the portions have gotten smaller 😢
