"Opening March 13 on the Las Vegas Strip inside the newly rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas, this 5,300-square-foot restaurant from James Beard Award–winning, longtime television host Martin Yan presents a casual Pan-Asian concept shaped by his decades of travel. The 150-seat space features rich, deep tones, contemporary Asian murals, an open kitchen where chefs hand-pull noodles and perform a changing-face “kung-fu dance” several times nightly, a noodles bar, a private dining room, a retail area selling Yan’s autograph books and cookware, and warmed lockers for no-contact to-go pickup. The menu highlights include an appetizer of Asian pickled vegetables with Korean- and Vietnamese-style kimchi; shrimp-filled lettuce cups; and a dim sum sampler with shiu mai, har gow, steamed BBQ pork bao, lotus leaf–wrapped rice, seafood dumplings, and farmer’s dumplings. Entrees range from a Thai yellow coconut curry with chicken and mu shu pork tacos with hoisin sauce to a sizzling black pepper steak with mushrooms and a pan-seared Chilean sea bass in jasmine tea with a miso-ginger-honey glaze. An adjacent bar will take on a late-night weekend lounge vibe and serves cocktails such as the Kasama Mama, an M.Y. Paloma, and Lychee in Paradise. Starting March 13, hours will be Monday–Thursday 11 a.m.–11 p.m. and Friday and Sunday 11 a.m.–1 a.m." - Janna Karel
