Pranom Thai Pop-Up at The Sound Table in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"This Austin-based Thai pop-up, founded by Texas-born chef Dream Kasestatad, focuses on a pad Thai-centric menu (including a vegan pad Thai) and pairs the food with a retro 1970s Thai psychedelic soundtrack and beverage collaborations. Kasestatad grew up in his family’s Thai restaurants in Lubbock, Texas, moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, and began cooking pad Thai and Thai street foods while catering on TV and movie sets; growing demand led him to pop up around Hollywood and eventually tour the country. Upcoming tour stops include a Birmingham brewery April 26–27 and New Orleans April 29–30." - Beth McKibben

Our food tasted weird and was bland. We ordered our Thai teas with coconut milk (an option on the menu) and the milk was super clumpy and did not blend or break up even after a lot of stirring with a spoon

I’m quite picky with thai food, but I gave this place a shot. Let me just say…. Wow. The flavors are absolutely amazing. Tom Kha had the perfect amount of spice, creaminess, and flavors. Prices are great, too! Will definitely be ordering again!

Google
Very good Thai food especially from a food cart. Really like both the order of rice noodle pad see Yew and cashew chicken. Generous portion and the wok is high heat enough to seared the noodle. Simply delicious. The second timei tried chicken satay. Love it. Also tried the chicken pad kra poa, was disappointed because the bell pepper was fresh but has a hand sanitizer or a detergent taste to it. I am sure it was unintentional but hopefully the cook can take corrective action.

Yellow curry with tofu was not good and very disappointing. Tasted strange and kept separating. The rice that came with it was the only thing that was good

Excellent pineapple fried rice with veggies. Spice level 2. Good prices and 2 wonderful ladies working here. Recommended

Well, I mean we ordered 4 different dishes; pad Thai, see ew, basil eggplant, and curry. We were very hungry after taking our suburban mom 10mg THC chocolate pibs. Now I can eat anything on those THC candies and Thai food is my favorite—but unfortunately this did not taste like Thai food . The noodles were very dry and hardly had any sauce, but even the sauce tasted very strange almost like a chemical?? I even tried adding my own sauce to cover the taste with no luck. I basically took two bites of each entree and skipped to the next. We’re still hungry and disappointed a bit:(

Couldn't have had a better experience. I was grabbing an order for doordash right around lunch time. The delightful ladies in the kitchen informed me they had made a mistake and ended up with an extra Pad Thai and offered it to me for lunch. Seeing as I was going to pause my orders right after I dropped that one so I could get myself lunch, it was absolutely perfect timing and I'm so grateful for their generosity and all around kindness. It was a pleasure just to have that simple experience and it's one I won't forget. Thank you ladies again!

Yelp
We tried this street foods during memorial basketball tourney. Some of the foods were okay and some foods no flavors at all. We went there back-to-back day for lunch. The 1st day, the owner was so nice and she gave us free steam rice and appetizer because we from out of town. We appreciated for her generosity. The 2nd day, the owner is off and we tried different dishes that we didn't get to try on the first day because we were full. I ordered Pad see ew! The noodles were hard and not soft and no flavors. They should cook with special house sauce. We love supporting the local small businesses but also you are going get a honest and sincere review from me.

Yelp
I always like to try new food and support local restaurants. Therefore, I gave a try at this place. It was a big mistake! I ordered Chicken Pad See Ew and Pork Garlic Stir-fried. Let's starts with the Pad See Ew, I am not sure what sauce they used, but taste absolutely horrible!! Like chewing on pieces of plastic noodles, it tasted salty, stale, and no other flavor. Then, for some reasons, has a very sour after taste left inside your mouth (Spoiled?). I took few bites and throw the whole dish away. The Garlic stir-fried is not much better...... no flavor. Big chuck of cabbages (black color at the edges), thick carrots, huge broccolis and 3 pieces of pork floating in a sea of soup?! Have they ever taste their own food? Good luck but I will not be back for sure!

Yelp
Service was excellent however the soup had to much sugar in it. I asked for very spicy but the spice level was low.
