"Don’t be fooled by its strip mall-ness, as it’s a total upscale vibe in Thai Spice, with vast fish tanks and live entertainment on occasion. Its happy hour is top-notch, too, with 2-for-1 drinks and half-priced apps on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m." - Jesse Scott

Got in town late, 30 minutes before closing, but we were hungry & this place was open near our hotel. My wife is Thai, so we wanted to try this place. She ordered Chicken Pad Thai & couldn't eat it because it was sweet, which isn't normally made sweet. I had the steak salad, which I would rate 6/10. The sauce or dressing wasn't anything like I've had in any Thai restaurant. Truly, it's a chefs recipe that needs some work. Also, it's expensive, my bill was $59+$11tip=$70 for those 2 entrées + 2 Thai teas. Normally, this would have been a $40+ tip meal back home. Even our friends we visited said the same as I about the food & cost. The staff was nice & helpful, so I hope I tipped well.

It had been quite a while that I had been to Thai Spice off E. Commercial that I had totally forgotten how truly good it was. How long you ask?... nearly a decade and a half as I celebrated my 50th birthday there... 😳 I was truly fortunate to have a server by the name of Roy who was outstanding and guided me to try a House Special version of Seafood Tom Yum and/or Tom Yum Goong which is what I typically would opt for on a clammy crappy rainy day as it was that day/evening but this Special version was a Seafood coconut milk lemongrass based version. It was absolutely delicious! 🤤 hitting the spot and then some. So much so that I ordered another one to take home. For the entree I had the Red Panang Chicken made with Thai Hot spice level. This too was prepared off the chart exquisite! To accompany my dinner I went with a Nigori Junmai Shu Sake 🍶 along with a Thai Singha beer to cool my mouth from earing the Panang Curry. All I can say is Wow!! what a Thai culinary experience and they've been there since the late 80's which we fortunately discovered by word of mouth in the early to mid 90's. That they are still in business doing obviously well for so many decades preparing Thai food at such a high level is something to be said for them. Kudos... 👍🏼😎

We had purchased a Groupon and went for the first time! Beautiful restaurant that has been in the area over 30+ years. Exceptional service and incredible food! Great atmosphere and will come back soon to check out their happy hour!

My family and I absolute had an amazing experience for my birthday luncheon. It was actually my second time there. The food was so delicious! Rico was the best server! He was so attentive and polite. He made it a special birthday experience. I highly recommend this restaurant due to the high quality of the food and excellent service.

The best Thai food I've ever had, hands down! Everything we ordered was great. From the pork meatballs, the 3 buddies dish, to the roasted duck dish and the wonderful Thai soups - all wonderful flavors! A bit pricey, but the food, service and atmosphere are winners!

Extremely Disappointed — Discriminatory and Rude Management I’m still in disbelief over our experience at Thai Spice. We came in with a party of four, one of whom is in a wheelchair and has a service dog. We were looking forward to trying their happy hour based on good recommendations. Unfortunately, what we got was shocking disrespect and discrimination from both the manager and one of her employees. After being seated by their server, we were later told by the manager — in a rude and dismissive tone — that we would have to pay full price because we were not seated in the designated happy hour area. This was their staff’s error, yet the manager made zero effort to resolve the situation, despite the fact that the price difference was only $20. Her behavior was ignorant, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic empathy — especially toward someone in a wheelchair with a service animal. While our server was outstanding (and we tipped him $170 for his great service), the way management treated us overshadowed everything. This is not a place to go if you expect kindness, accommodation, or good customer service. Frankly, it’s not hard to see why so many tables were empty. We will not be returning — and I hope others think twice before supporting a place that treats people this way

Yelp
Three of us enjoyed dinner at Thai Spice. The food is really very good (5 stars). There were some service irritants that lowered my rating to 4 stars. I always order Tom Yum soup when I visit a Thai restaurant and Thai Spice's is very good! It's not the best I've had, but it is good. Unfortunately our entrees came three minutes after our soup arrived and we weren't even half done. Then they kept trying to remove the soup bowls and we had to keep telling them that we weren't finished with the soup. It was frustrating. The wine pour is generous. My mixed vegetables with fried tofu was fresh and delicious. The vegetables were crunchy and the sauce was extremely good. The Pad Thai was spectacular and the portion large. The Beef Fried Rice was stellar. Again, a nice portion. A few more service issues - When the food arrives the server passes everything by the person sitting on the end of booth. This seemed a little rude. It was quite possible to pass things to the person further in the booth without bothering the outside guest. We didn't ask for our check but it was brought to us while we were still drinking and eating. It was a bit rushed. When we mentioned two separate checks, our server looked annoyed. Really? The food really was good, but for service, only 4 stars.

Yelp
Best Thai I've ever had! The hot & sour soup is amazing! Pad Thai so delicious Sameri chicken so good! The server was the so friendly too! Go! Worth the drive

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of Thai cuisine, and whenever I'm on vacation, I make it a point to try out a local Thai restaurant. In Pompano Beach, FL, that spot is Thai Spice! Our visit started off on the right foot, with a warm welcome and prompt seating. The atmosphere was lively, with 90's music playing in the background - a bit loud, but it brought back memories! Our waiter, Jonathan, was knowledgeable and helpful, walking us through the specials. We began with the Calamari and fried spring rolls, which were both outstanding! For my main course, I opted for the Thai Spice grouper, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful, served atop a bed of sautéed veggies. The kids loved the sweet and sour chicken, made with real chunks of white meat. All dishes came with a side of white rice. Overall, the food at Thai Spice was exceptional! We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

Yelp
Been a few dozen times over the years and still my favorite Thai Food. The best! Meals prepared with Love. A special spot. Get a reservation booked.

Yelp
This is a very good restaurant, the excellent food, good service and attention, and we enjoy when there is live entertainment. The restaurant is large and spacious with many room as or sections, but I have to make parking can be a challenge. Overall a great place for dinner.

Sandi S.

Yelp
Food always fantastic ! Whole fried ( gluten free! ! Snapper is always our favorite with a Thai basil sauce , house special fried rice made gluten free is great with plenty of seafood , chicken and pork . Our service is always impeccable by the competent and friendly Chad ! Andrew, Noel, and Nicolai quickly help out too . The atmosphere is romantic , decorated with Thailand pictures , and exotic fish aquariums throughout the booths in several dining rooms . We continue to bring friends and family . Next time this month , we are bringing a couple from Canada who have never been to Thai Spice!

Yelp
Thai Spice has been a go-to spot for Thai food lovers in Northeast Fort Lauderdale for ages. I used to be a regular, both dining in and ordering takeout when I was in the area. The spot is in a strip mall and could use a facelift, but trust me, the food is some of the best Thai you'll find around here. I haven't had Thai Spice in years since I moved, though it's only about 20 minutes away. Today, I was seriously craving some good Thai and noticed they deliver via Uber Eats, so I had to order. I went for the Samrod chicken, spicy hot, and let me tell you, my lips are still on fire--in the best way. They really nail the spice level you ask for here. I also tried a bit of the poor man's fried rice, which was solid, but the Samrod chicken is the real star. It was just as amazing as I remembered! TIP: Order during lunch (M-F 11-3) for their lunch specials.

Yelp
This restaurant serves top notch food and drinks, with every dish expertly prepared and bursting with flavors thanks to an incredible blend of spices.

Yelp
11/11/2024 NO need to update my review. Guys please read my past reviews. This place has been my family's Thai staple since we moved to Florida 35 years ago. This place is a must try!!!

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Thai spice is a restaurant that I hold near and dear to my heart because it one of My favorite go to local restaurants for drinks, date night or takeout you just can't go wrong here! The drinks are freshly made with generous portions of alcohol and garnish. I've had everything from triple main lobster tails, shrimp curry, shrimp fried rice and their seafood pot and literally every dish is my favorite! I love this place and the staff is very attentive and makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend!

Karen N.

Yelp
My friend had a Groupon and it was about to expire. I love Thai food but not the spice. It's funny how the name spells out one thing that I love and the other I can't stand. The inside is beautiful. Dark decor with amble seating inside and out. My friend said her Pad Thai was the best she has ever had and I agree that my soup was one of the best I've had. They are open for lunch which is new.

Richard M.

Yelp
The food is filled with taste, the service is wonderful, and the ambiance harkens back to the 1980's, but in a charming and endearing type of way. Thai Spice is one of the best Asian restaurants in South Florida.

Michael C.

Yelp
The food here is awesome. There is a reason Thai Spice has been around and successful for so long. We went on my mom's birthday and they give you a free dish if you go on your birthday. In my party we ordered a Thai iced tea, wine, and a lychee martini. Skirt steak, fried rice, pan fried noodles, and a grouper dish. The place was packed being high season but our waiter although busy was polite and got everything right. For desert we got a flan and cheesecake. Bathroom is impeccable. They also have nice live music, solo guitar and vocals. Will be back, highly recommend!:)

Yelp
Best Thai in this area, glad we happened upon it when we did (bad weather and accidents had shut down the highway, so we ate up north and this was one of the top rated restaurants). Food was top notch, everything we had was delicious, we've since gone back and ordered take out as well . The wait staff and hostess were all very polite and helpful in answering our questions and helping us promptly. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the lighting and bushes really worked well to create a pleasant enjoyable time all around

Janell M.

Yelp
Date night was made better by our experience at Thai Spice! We had drinks at the bar for happy hour and they were made perfectly. We headed to the table and we were sat at a corner table which felt semi-private and romantic. Our waitress, Ailene was friendly and suggested some excellent dishes! We never had to wait for anything...our water was refilled before it was empty, our finished plates were taken away quickly...excellent service! We started with the coco shrimp and they were perfectly cooked. The house honey mustard was a perfect compliment. We ordered the bang band steak and the red curry seafood special. The flavors were bold but not spicy at all. I can't wait to go back!

Petagay Crystal B.

Yelp
I walked in for a late dinner about 1 hour to their closing on a Saturday, and I was able to be seated immediately. I opted for a booth in the back close to one of their beautiful fish tanks. Decided to try one of their new drinks with three rums, it didn't disappoint. For dinner, I went with the Three Buddies. It's a combination of chicken, shrimp, and scallops with medium heat with a side of rice. it was very flavourful. My waiter, Jordan, was so upbeat and kind. I enjoy my dinner and am looking forward to visiting again

Mark H.

Yelp
I am giving this place 5 stars because the food was outstanding. From the coconut shrimp to the boneless duck, (some of the best duck I have ever had) the food was great. Service was ok, could have been a bit more attentive. Thought the prices were a bit high for some of the menu items, but hey, prices are pretty high for everything- I would definitely go back and eat the duck again. For those who complained about the price of the steak, a question. Why in the world would you order a $140 steak at a Thai restaurant? And as for the political comments about Fox News, sorry, I've been exposed to CNN at every possible location for the past 4 years. Suck it up. It's not your world! Grow up. Maybe the pricing will get better with our new administration. This is a site to review food and restaurants--not to air your silly political views. Anyway, can't wait to go back and eat some really good THAI FOOD.

Kimmie B.

Yelp
Amazing and authentic Thai food! They have plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating available. We chose to eat outside because we had our dogs with us, and they were extremely accommodating. Sebastian was our waiter, and he did an amazing job of constantly checking in. We started with appetizers, which were the satay (bbq skewers that come with a little flame to keep your meat warm), Thai rolls, and crab tom ka soup. Everything tasted so good, but the I NEED to especially shout out the crab tom ka soup because that was probably one of the best soups I've ever had. They were not stingy with their crab, and it was buttery and yummy and bursting with flavor. For our main dishes, we shared sweet and sour chicken + pad Thai. I wouldn't usually order sweet and sour chicken, but I saw the previous reviews that raved about them, and Sebastian highly recommended it. And wow-- generous servings of fresh chicken balled up and lightly crispy (?) With the sweetness of the pineapples balanced with other spices and the sauce (I'm drooling just thinking about it again). Then the pad Thai - what can I say? It's not the pad Thai you would expect at asian fusion restaurants that are just drizzled with peanut butter. While maintaining the familiar taste that we all know is pad thai; this was authentic, yummy, just bursting with flavor. We got shrimp pad Thai, and again, they were very generous with their portions. I also got Thai tea, which was good as well. It doesn't taste like the powdery ones. While I did shout out Sebastian for being such an amazing server, several other servers came by as well to constantly check in and make sure we were okay, refilled our waters, cleared plates, etc. I definitely recommend this place and will be back to try other things on their menu.... as well as reorder that crab tom ka soup!

Ambry J.

Yelp
I had the best time celebrating my friend's birthday! There were 10 of us and we were seated immediately! AJ and Kyle were AMAZING!! They took our orders and processed our payment without any issues. We never had to request anything, they were on it!! In addition, the food was so good. No complaints!

Amanda A.

Yelp
Thai Spice has been one of my favorite local restaurants for more than twenty years. Not only is it consistently delicious, it is one of the few restaurants where I have tried and reordered many items on the menu, rather than just sticking to a couple favorites. My favorite appetizers are the coco shrimp and the Siam bites. My favorite main dishes are the cashew chicken, all the curries, the grouper with various sauces and the three buddies. My husband loves their pad Thai and many of their beef dishes. Their happy hour is lovely in the bar, and they often have live music. Service is always good. I don't think I have ever had a bad experience and I couldn't count the number of times we have eaten in the restaurant, ordered takeout and even placed large catering orders for office lunches. I can't say enough about how much I love Thai Spice.

Anthony P.

Yelp
I have been coming to this place for years and they never disappoint. The vibe is sultry & very romantic, low lit lighting! The food is very fresh and they seem to focus on quality products based on the price. My favorite thing is the crispy calamari, any duck plate and the pad-tai. You cannot go wrong with any choice on the menu. Service is top notch and don't forget to try their lychee martini!!! So delicious.

Charlotte E.

Yelp
Food was ok. Over priced for what it was. Ambiance was nice, Waiter was nice. They have a No Apple Pay policy which should be advertised

Sebastian L.

Yelp
Great place for a chill date. They were attentive to me and my girl and the food was pretty good. First time here. You can tell they've done well and been consistent for many years by their awards. I issue Servsafe certificates for proper food handling for managers, bar tenders and stay and per my experience here, they are applying it well. Look forward to assist in this area when needed. Thank you

Jessica L.

Yelp
I went to Thai Spice for the first time today. Thursday lunch time was actually pretty busy- they were well staffed and service was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Pad Thai and the Chicken with peanut sauce. Yum! Lunch came with soup or salad and the portion size was very generous as well as reasonably priced. Very nice atmosphere, this is a very cool little tucked in/hideaway spot, and I'm sure it is a great place for a nice date night.

Makeda P.

Yelp
I placed an order over the phone at 8:28 pm I received a text message saying my food should be ready at 8:51pm I waited an extra 10 mins outside to make sure it was ready and when I walked in and asked for my food I was told it would be a couple mins I waited around for another 10 just to be told my food still wasn't ready what is the point of ordering ahead if they start to cook the food when you arrive

Bruce A.

Yelp
The food was amazing. The fish was cooked to perfection and the sauce gave it a little kick. The ambiance was softly lit with a relaxing mood. The service was awesome even though it was his first day. Great food and atmosphere.

Howard H.

Yelp
Many of our friends have been raving about this place saying it's the best Thai food in town. Well, we happened to come by here with one of them. This place is very busy during dinner hours. The parking lot of the plaza is very small with limiteddpot. We got lucky and managed to find a spot in the back of the building. I have to say because it was a little bit dark and scary. We sat down and I started to look over their menus. Yes, they got a massive menu, but it's mixed with Japanese and Thai food, which makes it a bit confusing to decide on what to order. I was finally able to find a curry dish I thought might be okay. My wife went with them while a fried fish dish. I have to say I was very disappointed with the food. My curry dish was watery and lack of any flavor. The meat in it was chewy does not have any curry flavor. My wife's dish was not much better. It lacks any seasoning which is very surprising for a traditional Thai dish. When my wife asked for a fish sauce with chili which is very commonly available in any decent Asian food restaurants, they did not have anything like that except the soy sauce. Overall, this place is very disappointing for our taste. The only redeeming factor is our waiter was friendly and helpful. But I definitely will not recommend this place if you seek traditional Thai food.

Brittany R.

Yelp
Food and service was absolutely amazing! The only thing I didn't care for, was the smell of cigarette smoke inside of the restaurant. Other than that, food tasted spectacular.

M J.

Yelp
This a great place. Noodle dishes and fried rice was great. Would eat here again. Appreciate the service too

Stefanie S.

Yelp
I went here last night and noticed that inside it's a lot bigger than it seems from the outside. I like the look of the place, it's dimly lit with pretty lights and fish tanks. I has a romantic atmosphere. The menu is quite extensive with lots of options. We started with drinks, I ordered a small sake, and it had a nice flavor. We then ordered an appetizer of crispy curry puffs, which were tasty. For my entree, I ordered the fresh Kew West, yellow tail snapper fillet with a curry sauce. When it came out, the sauce had a pungent scent. It tasted good but not great. The fish was also a little bit dry. It did come with a salad or soup, and the peanut sauce of the salad was quite delicious. My dining companion enjoyed his meal. The service was efficient, but they seemed hurried, but it was the Friday after Valentine's Day. I would like to try this place again, because my date had really good things to say about the place, and I like the ambiance.

K.A. G.

Yelp
Food is generally good and good value. Quality of fried Chicken dishes could be improved. We DoorDash usually,so they could also improve the selections and add for sauces, extra curries & rice selections online. We have to call each time and then compromise because the order is in the system, without allowing for add ons.

Andrew R.

Yelp
The best Thai restaurant in South Florida. Our family has dined here many times. The food always wonderful and the atmosphere is great. We highly recommend them.

Kristin A.

Yelp
Disappointing...we ordered food from Thai Spice tonight for delivery. The one thing that I wanted was soup. My super arrived with all of the broth in the bag and then on my floor and counter. I really didn't appreciate the mess or the fact that my dinner was in edible. It's a shame not only because I ordered soup because I wasn't feeling great and that was my supposed to be dinner-but because although their food is generally good, Thai spice is expensive. The delivery person is a Thai Spice person, not one of the external delivery services, so how tough is it to make sure the lid is sealed?

Kevin W.

Yelp
The food here is amazing. Unfortunatly the prices have gotten outrageous it's not worth going anymore. Additionally the staff has changed so much, I imagine ownership has changed because it's monumentally different. It's sad I use to love coming here the fish tanks are always a great selling point but anymore I just cannot justify going for any real reason.

Carlos M.

Yelp
Consistently great food here! I've been here a handful of times throughout the last few years. The atmosphere is great, dimly lit. The service is good, food comes out very quickly. Here's what I've tried - Crispy Calamari - Tossed in garlic, basil and a light chili sauce. Calamari is usually pretty straight forward and safe but these guys really elevate it. The flavor combo lingers for days after you've tried these. -chef kiss emoji- 5/5 ($20) Pad thai - Rice noodles, chicken, shrimp, ground peanuts, egg, bean sprouts and fresh scallions. I love that it includes the chicken and shrimp. This dish is always prepared nicely here. It comes scorching hot and it's a very generous portion. I usually save half for the following day. 4.5/5 ($24) I should really explore more of their menu but I can't resist but stick to my old favorites. If you're nearby, I would for sure stop in. Excellent spot!

Laurie W.

Yelp
I have been dining at Thai Spice more than 20 years. Always excellent.....ALWAYS!!!! Today we went for lunch......let's start with our server......annoying as hell trying to be overly attentive.... We started with hot and sour soup (which was the special) yeah it was special, special bad. The wonton soup usually delicate wontons delicious pieces of garlic and savory broth, not hot, was terrible. Who made those wontons....heavier than a Matzoh Ball, tasted awful!! Next Spring Rolls were ok, not particularly fresh I ordered a small salad.....server brings out dinner size ($9) , tells us it's the only size......I never in over 20 had that size salad and the server insisted this was the only size. Next crispy whole Red Snapper in hot Thai chili sauce....we asked our server to check the size because lately the fish have been much smaller than usual. When the fish came out it smelled like fish.....WE ALL know that means NOT FRESH....the chili sauce tasted like salt, not hot (spicy) Color wasn't even right. The fish was dried out, and not much meat on it BTW this was the 3rd time we've had a bad meal....we thought we'd try it this 3rd time because we thought maybe the chef was on vacation I guess not.....he must have quit!!! THAI SPICE------BYE BYE SPICE !!!!!!

Lori R.

Yelp
I've eaten at Sea Bar twice and really enjoyed eating there! The food was good and the selection of food options were plentiful. Service was good and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable.

Alex R.

Yelp
Thai Spice is always a great place to go, especially for happy hour. It's tucked away in a corner space of a very unassuming shopping center, but when you get inside, you're transported to a dark and cool atmosphere. Today, we ordered steak satay and Thai wings from the happy hour menu. The satay was so juicy, and the presentation with the flame is great. The extra heat gives it a nice char that I really like. The Thai wings were supposed to be a spicy sriracha flavor, but they kind of tasted like mild buffalo, but still good. My entree was the sweet and sour chicken, made extra spicy. The sauce and veggies had great taste and texture, but the chicken inside the breading was a bit bland, but the sauce covered it over nicely. Our server was very attentive and always came back to check on us. So did other servers, several times. There was live music, which I dreaded, but the music wasn't very loud and the singer was lovely.

Jamie G.

Yelp
BEST THAI FOOD IN FORT LAUDERDALE! I've been coming here for years and it's no wonder they're always busy. The servers are extremely friendly and the food is exceptional! The 'Poormans Fried Rice' is my staple item off the menu time and time again. Make sure you ask for the spice tray when you finish if you want to add more KICK to your food.

Barbara S.

Yelp
We recently stayed in Oakland Park for our anniversary and I was excited to try Thai Spice again. I went here years ago and it was the first time I tasted Pad Thai and it's been my favorite Thai dish ever since. We were going to go to the restaurant but after a long day of adventuring through Fort Lauderdale we decided to just Uber Eats the food to our hotel. We ordered spicy chicken and shrimp pad Thai, beef basil, and spring rolls. The food came in a timely manner and it was hot. My husband enjoyed his beef basil with a side of white rice. My pad Thai looked like it had not an ounce of sauce. Like they boiled the noodles and tossed it into the container, put the proteins in, and sprinkled some spice over it. I was extremely disappointed that the first place I fell in love with this dish was basically inedible and pretty expensive. I don't think I will ever eat there again.

Fred M.

Yelp
In town for some meetings and invited to dinner here by a business colleague. Didn't expect much seeing it from the outside - in a non-descript strip mall - but were pleasantly surprised once we entered. Dark and cozy inside, with that large and colorful fish tank right as you walk in. But the biggest surprise was the service and the food - both excellent. Our server was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable and we sat close enough to the bar that we could ask questions about the Tiki Bar-style cocktail list. I definitely suggest a Jet Pilot if you like tasty (and strong) Rum drinks! We had several appetizers, followed by a different main course for each of us and all were plentiful and very tasty and well prepared. The only comment we had is that we ordered each dish "medium" and, for a Thai restaurant, they were not spicy at all. That was easily fixed when the server brought us a selection of sauces and pepper flakes to fix our dishes to our liking. A little pricey but worth it. And they have a generous Happy Hour if you want to save a few bucks! All in all, a place we'd definitely come back next time we're in Ft. L.

Adriana S.

Yelp
Everything was grrat Ambience was relaxing with beautifull live music Waiter was supper Food amazin Dessert delicious I will cone back

S S.

Yelp
Price is too expensive and taste is bad Thai. Nothing like it. Service is average. I won't go back.

Derick R.

Yelp
The food is amazing along with the excellent service from the staff. We were always treated as royalty with continued checkups and refills for food /drinks. The quality and taste of the mussles was excellent. Chilean Sea Bass blackened with ginger sauce was the best fish I've had at a restaurant, melted in your mouth. Seafood curry is to die for, all fish in this was perfect. Highly recommend this great restaurant

Randolph L.

Yelp
Great food , good service, and a warm atmosphere. Try the early bar menu for the best appetizers.

Yelp
Sunday night chef and probably remaining choice of fish. We have been dining at Thai Spice basically since they opened. It's one restaurant that has usually been the most consistent of the many restaurants we frequent. (Maybe disappointing a few times) There are a quite a few dishes that we crave so we usually order those. One of my favorites is the crispy snapper with hot chili sauce. Last night they were out of red snapper (I should have known then not to order the fish) and had the choice of yellowtail or hog snapper. Knowing that the yellow tail can be the smallest of the three, our server recommended the hog fish which is a bit pricier but usually has more meat. First time it came out, it looked disheveled. It was luke warm, barely any sauce and the head was off, lying sideways on the dish and very unappetizing to the eye. The server must have seen my face, so he came by immediately to check and offered to make me a new one which I was pleased to hear. ( I usually share the fish with my mother and sister and also order another dish along with that (appetizers too) and usually have more than enough to share. Last night I was there with my husband and chose to have it for myself knowing I usually take more than half home. The second fish came out, it was so flat and thin, I stuck my fork in and immediately touched and saw the bone. ( I thought about just not eating it (since my husband was just about done with his meal since mine took so long to come out) I am not exaggerating, I had to scrape the bone to get some of the fish. It was like I was eating scraps. I turned it over and same thing on the other side. There was no meat on it! I finished the entire fish in less than 5 minutes. I have never been able to do finish even when 3 of us share it. ( Again, the server said he would talk to Michael, the owner, but came back and never mentioned anything about it again and handed us the bill.) So not only, did my husband eat alone, but then waited for mine to come out and sat and watched me as I picked on the emaciated fish. (which took about 5 minutes to do) No one enjoys a meal when they are eating and waiting for their spouses to come out and then not even enjoy their meal) So unfortunately it will be quite awhile for us to return to one of our favorites which we've introduced many friends and families to over the years. So very disappointed in Thai Spice.

Yelp
By far the best Thai food I have ever had. Everything we got was delicious (Pad Thai, Garlic Beef, and Pad See Ew - not pictured). I love the ambiance of the restaurant. The decor is so cool and really adds to your experience dining there. Great service too! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Broward County.

Yelp
Delicious food, with friendly service, looks like a great spot to have an intimate dinner or a family meal. I haven't dine in as yet but will Be back soon to do so. Overall great experience for my take out order.

Yelp
I came here for a birthday dinner and I'm glad I did. This is a super cute spot with live music. it was a good vibe. The service and the food was great. We were a party of 9 and had a great time singing and eating. Definitely coming back. The price was a little but hey, you live once lol.
