We came here for lunch during a midweek to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Beautiful restaurant with excellent customer service! This restaurant puts a FRESH spin to each of their traditional Thai dishes, making every meal a unique and exciting experience. Flexible seating for larger groups. Since we visited during lunch time, the space was extra bright, and airy. Immaculate plating presentation and delicious mock-tail drinks. I do recommend ordering mild if you have a lower tolerance for spice. The staff went all out to help us celebrate my sister’s bday, which is beyond our expectations. They added a festive sparkler candle on the sticky mango dessert and even took a Polaroid photo as a memorabilia keepsake of our birthday gal! Thank you so much!! We will definitely visit again!

Google
Would 100% recommend eating here. We had the yellow curry with no potato, fresh spring rolls, basil eggplant with tofu and jasmine rice. The food was literally some of the best food that I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and clean the service was great. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The only thing I wish I would’ve added was a Thai tea, but it was too late and I didn’t want to drink caffeine. If you’re in Berkeley and like Thai food, you will not regret coming here. Also super reasonable pricing for the quality and the portions.

Google
The Thai Table restaurant exudes the essence of authentic Thai cuisine, offering a delightful experience for the senses. The crispy vegetables rolls and tofu pad Thai are particularly exceptional, providing a perfect blend of flavors and textures. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking genuine Thai flavors.

Google
The food here is really amazing and would highly recommend. The layout is a little bit strange as there's a table right in the doorway and you kind of have to stand there before they notice you. Also, in order to get to your table you kind of have to maneuver around a bunch of people. So if it's crowded, definitely not recommended for wheelchairs. The service was pretty average. Nothing amazing or terrible just did their job and only had to get their attention once towards the end as they never cleared our plates or gave us the bill. They have a pretty wide selection in the menu so easy to find stuff from no spice to spicy So easy to please a wide assortment of people. Plenty of street parking so definitely not an issue and it's right next to the downtown grid. So plenty of walking to nearby shops and dessert places. Would highly recommend for a date night or casual night with friends.

Google
Ate here for lunch. The food and service were really good! Had the pumpkin curry puffs, pad kee mao, crab fried rice with crab legs, pork wontons, and black mango sticky rice. I would definitely come back and order more of their dishes. I would pass on the wontons and I did like the flavor of the pad kee mao (which I always judge at every Thai restaurant I go to), but the noodles were a little too overdone. But I was pleasantly surprised about all the dishes. Going to try the curries and fish next time! Update: Went back and got the Panang Curry with beef. It was so good. They use slow cooked beef chunks versus sliced beef. The curry was rich and thick. Tried the Herb whole fish. It was okay. The fish isn't extremely meaty, but the flavors were great with the mint sauce, bell peppers, cilantro, and the noodles. Definitely advise to get the green beans!

Google
Vibrant place with great tasting food! I think they are a little understaffed but the waiters are friendly. Our first app came out cold on the inside and they fixed that for us quickly. Entrees can be on the spicy side but flavors are good.

Google
We're blessed to have what I think is one of the best Thai restaurants in the bay right down the block from us. Pretty much everything they do is solid, but I think the Massaman curry is a particular sleeper hit. We get takeout from here a few times a month, and almost always get the pad woon sen and the sweet pumpkin curry puffs (which are basically drugs). Always very consistent, very solid.

Yelp
I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS PLACE. Every single thing I ate was perfectly balanced and delishhhh! The workers are super sweet. I love the decor of the place & it's in a good location on the main street. The fresh shrimp spring rolls were definitely fresh & crunchy. It's a great appetizer to go with a heavier entree with carbs because it's light & fresh. I had the Nam Khao which is the crispy rice with lettuce wraps. It has crispy rice, pork, carrot & peanuts. You load up your lettuce with all of these and it's a bite FULL of flavor. My friend had never had this dish before and she looooved it. If you're looking for Thai food in the area - look no further.

Yelp
(3.5 out of 5) Photos @kailimariephotography I've had this place on my to go list for a while now! Walking up the ambiance is was super cool with lots of bright colors with a warm feeling to the place! They also had fun music. The food here was also pretty good! Tom kha was a 4/5, the rice was a 5/5, pad Thai was a 4.5/5, Panang was a 3.5, and dumplings was a 3/5. If this is where my review stopped the place would be a 4 out of 5... but service. They weren't rude by any means, but I asked for prik nam pla 2 times and they came out with a little serving, only Thai place to at didn't have a serving thing, also since I needed more, I asked 3 times, never ended up getting it. Every time I asked they said okay. Totally disregarded it. So I'm disappointed. When you come tell them Rothyy sent you!!

Yelp
Cool spot for delicious Thai food. A little on the loud side and always fully packed. Get a reservation if you can! We had: Shrimp pad Thai- not bad but not the best I've had in the bay. Everyone else really liked it. Pad kee mao- my second favorite of the dishes, really good flavor, really good texture, not too spicy but fun. Basil fried rice- very excellent. Haven't been able to find at any of the other Thai places in the bay for some reason (?? Someone please explain to me) and this is one of my staple dishes! It was very basil-y but could have been spicier in my opinion. Panang beef curry- WOW. This was the best dish of the night and SO incredible. The panang was excellent and rich and the beef was so tender. This will be the dish that gets me to drive all the way to Berkeley again because it was top notch. Service was attentive but not rushed. It was busy even on a Sunday night. Street parking out front is metered. Took about an hour for 3 to eat.

Yelp
My friend and I ordered dinner here for pickup a few weeks ago. Our order: curry lamb, fresh spring rolls, calamari and rice. The food was so delicious. The lamb curry was very flavorful. Calamari was made to and crispy.

Yelp
The restaurant is very small but we were able to call ahead and have a table saved for us, just right before the rush. It is very clean and super well decorated. It is a very cozy restaurant. The service we received was impeccable, and the servers were very attentive to our needs. The food was amazing and I was surprised at how fast it came out after they took care of a larger group. My one complaint is that I'm an afraid that the tom yum was not hot enough to fully cook our seafood, such as our scallops. Other than that, the food was amazing and of very high quality. The price was great and was surprised to see that after ordering two appetizers, three entrees, and drinks.

Yelp
The food was amazing !! We ate here two nights in a row!! The place was also very cute it just had a good vibe haha. The music was fun to listen to while eating. The service was really good too and quick! I love places like this. Portions great for the price as well, and the taste!! Amazing!

Yelp
Been here a few times and always had a great meal. Service is friendly and attentive. Ambiance is Colorful and Lively. I started with Fried Tofu and for Main Course I had Lamb Green Curry and Basil Fried Rice. All dishes were very well prepared and seasoned but if you like spicy food the green curry was milder for Thai Food standards. Just ask to make it extra spicy. I will definitely come back again and I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
We really enjoyed the food! Everything was super delicious! We especially enjoyed the tom yum soup and panang curry. The tom yum soup came in a hot pot metal pot that was heated by a fire in the middle. It was also our friends birthday which they included a cool sparkler ^^ Additionally keep in mind that the soups and curry were a lot sweeter than we are normally use to. Also the nam khao broken rice were in chunks compared to having them in crunchy bits! However, overall we really enjoyed the food and would come back again!

Yelp
Beautiful food, decor and ambiance. The service was quick and kind, the food was absolutely stellar. I got seafood pad thai and a thai tea. 11/10

Yelp
First time at Thai Table, but not the last I hope. The parking was easy. Maybe we just got "lucky" but parked 2 doors away. The atmosphere was lively, colorful and welcoming. The drinks were yummy (though could've used an extra splash of booz as they were a bit lite). The food was delicious! The staff were very friendly. Looking forward to visiting again!

Yelp
First time at this place as I'm visiting Berkeley. I had high hopes and I was not disappointed. Since I had to drive I ordered virgin lychee mojito. It was not overly sweet and tasted like lychee so I'm sure the actual mojito would taste real good. I also ordered Pad Thai with chicken. Pad Thai was fresh with generous amount of chicken. It was well balanced. Not too sweet. Portion was great too. I wasn't able to finish . I really enjoyed this place. It's a busy location, a bit loud . I would visit again!

Yelp
Just an update- hate to dock a star form my previous review but overall we had the chicken satay, roti with curry sauce, khao soi, beef stew, fried calamari and mango shrimp. I think most of the dishes were good but the khao soi's flavor was a bit lackluster and the beef stew was a tad bit flavorless. The mango shrimp was yummy however a bit heavy on the sauce (overpoweringly sweet). I think a bit of balance would help correct the flavors. Anyways, I'd still be back! Love the ambiance and vibes of this place.

Yelp
Loved their green curry- spicy and flavorful. You could taste the mild coconut cream. It complimented well with white rice (order separately). The basil fried rice was also delicious and spicy. I could taste the "wok hay", the aroma from the high heat. I personally preferred the white sticky rice on the mango sticky rice dessert. The purple rice was too chewy to my liking. Also, $14.95 was a bit steep.

Yelp
This is a cute and delicious Thai place on University. We ordered Nam Khao lettuce wraps, pad thai chicken, papaya salad, basil eggplant with tofu, beef yellow curry, and 2 orders of jasmine rice. For drinks we got the lychee iced tea, lemonade, and limeade thai iced tea. Subtotal came out to be $95. Food overall was quite delicious. My favorites were the yellow curry and the pad thai. I also really enjoyed the lychee iced tea. It had a bit of a thai tea taste to it, but wasn't strong. I would definitely get this drink again. They don't have a parking lot so you'll have to park on the street with metered parking or residential area (be mindful of street sweeping days- note the street sweeping signs) The inside is tastefully decorated and definitely instagram friendly. The seats, tableware, walls, and decorations were all really cute. They don't have AC here so it will be quite warm inside on a hot day. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Our server / host made sure we had everything we need and often checked in on us. We had a nut allergy in our party and they were able to accommodate our needs for this. I would definitely come back here again for the food, staff, and ambiance.

Yelp
A cute restaurant. The tables are a little cramped together. The drinks were tasty. Our server was very friendly. A great local Thai restaurant. My Lychee mojito was delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked. I will definitely come back to try more items on their menu. Everything I had was great.

Yelp
We went for Mother's Day & had a large party of 16. Fortunately they were able to make a reservation for us even though we were cutting it pretty close. It's a tight spot but they made it work! The food was okay, I've had better Thai... each dish just seemed like it was missing something. Even the mango sticky rice was good but missing something. I had their lychee tea which was a lil too sweet but I heard the Thai tea was one of the best - unfortunately didn't have one that day but my bf had 2 haha.

Yelp
First time at Thai table. I found them on Yelp trying to see what other food options were available in the berk area. I called to ask if they take reservations since I didn't see it in their Yelp page and they did! We arrived on a Sunday 1pm, opening time and they sat us immediately. Sundays don't seem too busy on the street as it is also conveniently close to the freeway so you don't have the hassle of driving through traffic down university ave. The inside decor is so cute! Like casually fancy where the table clothes are very Thai with the florals but the decor is super cute and fancy with gold silverware. We ordered Thai iced coffee, a lychee mojito and some piña colada mocktails, all v tasty. We ordered the roti with yellow curry sauce as an app, papaya salad, two orders of pad see ew (shrimp & veggie), pumpkin curry with side of jasmine rice and pineapple fried rice. Everything was extremely fresh, delicious and flavorful. I can't wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
Thai Table is hands down the best Thai spot in Berkeley! It came highly recommended by my Thai friend, and now I find myself going at least once a week. The food is consistently amazing--my favorites are the spicy basil fried rice, roti, and tom kha soup. If you're into drinks, don't miss the lychee mojito, which is absolutely delicious. I like my Thai food pretty spicy so be sure to mention that as the meals are not too spicy unless requested. The service here is fantastic. The staff are always so kind and quick, making every visit a great experience. It can get pretty packed around dinner times, especially on weekends but the wait times tend to be pretty short! This place has easily become one of my all-time favorite spots in Berkeley!
google avatar

Anand P.

Yelp
Legit and authentic Thai cuisine at its finest. I really enjoyed the rich flavors and I love that the staff was willing to accommodate our requests in terms of ingredients. Definitely try the pad see ew and the green curry. Both were amazing! I will be back!!
google avatar

Alex D.

Yelp
I'll have to snag a photo next time we go here - their food is excellent! I've done dine-in with friends and take out just for their spring rolls and Thai tea. Their fresh spring rolls are a big portion and good enough for a light lunch for me. Can't wait to keep supporting this business.

Yelp
Omgggggg I love Thai table! 10/10 would recommend everything is great. One of my favorite Thai spots in the Berkeley. So beautiful inside fast service and amazing food. Must try

Yelp
Loved the pad Thai and panang curry. We ordered the food as part of our catering tasting and loved it. Would highly recommend. The restaurant has good decor and loved the service there too.
google avatar

Kelli F.

Yelp
This place hits all the right spots... vibe is laid back, music is just right (early 2000s hip hop uncensored), and the food is pure perfection. They threw an entire chicken thigh and leg in the curry!!! 4/5 spice is just right to explore all the flavors. And the service is top tier.. all smiles *bonus for the the colorful slightly tacky decor
google avatar

Ariel C.

Yelp
The ambiance was nice. Came mid afternoon to skip a lunch rush but it happened to get crowded after I was seated. The vegan Thai tea was good. I ordered sweet Thai chili spicy chicken and got plain breaded fried chicken instead. I then ordered the street Thai fried rice with srichacha and a fried egg. Not sure where the discrepancy happened but I asked for my food to go so I could finish my food without having strangers stare into my plate, my face, and my phone and it took a while. When I did receive my food I was sad because i opened the box to plain white rice and a fried egg on top. Overall 30 bucks for a cold drink and some white rice with plain fried chicken was not what I expected. There was nothing spicy about the chicken wings they gave me. I won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Thai restaurants never disappoint when it comes to food presentation! Their dishes are beautifully plated with such an appetizing look. And with great presentation comes very high-quality taste. I enjoyed all of the dishes we had. Their pad see ew was probably my favorite. Every dish was filled with umami flavor. Pricing was also very good. I really appreciate the thought and work that comes with every plate. Their Thai tea is a must! It was very refreshing and had the perfect sweetness level. The decor of the restaurant was lively and blooming. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back!
google avatar

Taylor C.

Yelp
The staff is extremely sweet and accommodating! The food is great quality. Thai tea is not too sweet but also no dairy substitution. Would def recommend!
google avatar

Karen N.

Yelp
Neighborhood Thai place but they have really amazing large prawns and crab dishes if you wish to spurge. They do such a great job with brightening up University Ave... and they opened up next door's sushi place.

Yelp
The food is amazing , and the environment is very spunky and cute. Service was good and very attentive.

Yelp
Friendly staff, quick service, great food! Cute small space with street parking and outdoor seating. Crab fried rice and mint tea .
google avatar

Yelp
Not that good AND not good customer service. There are too many Thai spots in the area to be lacking in that way. Note to business - please train the young man in the front to be more cordial and customer friendly. He seems to do the bare minimum.
google avatar

Yuri S.

Yelp
Great food and service!! Highly recommended. We have a 11month old son but they accommodated us really nicely. Thank you Thai table!
google avatar

Naya S.

Yelp
Food was excellent!!!! Affordable with decent portions and an extensive menu. Our server was really friendly and was an overall great experience. About a 10 min wait time and a clean bathroom. Got a level 4/5 spicy but it still wasn't that spicy for me personally so keep that in mind.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Berkeley. I literally stop by every time I am in town. Small restaurant killer togo business, street parking. The music and service are always great. I love the authentic cuisine. It's difficult to order as there are so many items. I always want to try. See you soon Thai table.

Yelp
We just landed from the Oakland airport and wanted some good food nearby, so my hubby suggested eating in Berkeley. The place we were originally planning to go, Imm Thai, had a long line so we found Thai Table. We had a great first impression - vibe felt hip and modern. The small restaurant was pretty filled which was a good sign. We ordered the chef special, crabs legs in curry, Tom yum soup, and pina colada cocktail. Customer service was great. So far so good - right? Be warned of two things: 1. Cover yourself with napkin when eating the curry crab. We were trying to crack the crabs with our hands and the curry splattered over us. We finally decided to ask if they had the crab crackers and the waitress apologized for forgetting to give it to us. I tried to remove the stain on my favorite jacket and it would not come out. 2. They didn't show us the receipt. We blindly trusted. We were tired. Got back to our air bnb to discover they charged us extra for gratuity and my hubby tipped on top of that. I later went back to some reviews and people mentioned how they charged for gratuity without advance notice. I was ok with the stain but not the deception.
google avatar

Jason X.

Yelp
Pretty good! I liked the khao soi the most. Probably wouldn't get the pad see ew again (it was good not great so I'd want to try something else). The cucumber salad was a nice side to get some more veggies. Good service and crowd, tight seating, I liked the vibes. Easy parking out front.
google avatar

Toby R.

Yelp
Based on dishes offered thought we would really experience wonderful meal. Disappointed all the way around. Lacking in taste though presentation looked good. Very overpriced as well. Service was good but far from outstanding.

Yelp
This place is in a great location of university Avenue in Berkeley. The restaurant is so cute and quaint love the decoration and seating arrangements. They're super friendly, very inviting we ordered a large takeout and the order was exact and the delivery packaging was great. The food was phenomenal Everything was so tasty and delicious. We will definitely be back you gotta try this place out if you're ever in Berkeley.
google avatar

Val S.

Yelp
Loved the delicious food, and it looks appetizing too. Some wine, beer, and cocktails available. Fast and friendly service, no complaints. The place is on the smaller side, so tables are placed very close together, but I guess that's what they need to do because this place is busy day and night.
google avatar

Sabrina Z.

Yelp
A gem in Berkeley that really excels in amazing Thai dishes. The decor is cute for date night or dinner friends and the stuff are very accommodating. It's definitely become a go-to whenever I'm looking for dining options.

Yelp
The best pad thai in the bay area. The restaurant is vibrant, cute, sexy, small, and intimate.i would love to host a small party here! We had the dumplings (7/10), pad thai (10/10), and nam khao (9/10). We had the pinneaple margaritas and lychee mojito! It was so good!!! Parking is on the street and definitely make a reservation because it gets super packed. They have outside seating available. We will definitely return!

Yelp
Thai Table opened where Thai Spoon Rice Catering is. very small dining area with 12 tables inside, 2 tables outside. tables are literary 1 ft. apart. only regular sized people can sit in the inner seats.... offerings: noodle wok/soups, fried rice, seafood, stir fries, salads, mini-hot pots, curries, sides, desserts, starters, special new menu. a broad repertoire created an allusion of culinary expertise. eats: Nam Kho Lettuce Wrap (13.95) -freshly made and crumpled fried rice ball with slices of lao-style fermented pork sausage mixed ala salad with peanuts, shallots, scallions, mint, etc. -spooned mix romaine lettuce leaves, ate it like a (oyster) wrap. -tasted better than average, would satisfy a gourmand. chicken pad kee mão (14.95) -lots of wok stir fried rice noodles with chicken pieces, green beans, egg, basil, tomato. had nuanced layers of sweet, spicy, and thick notes. nice cooking skills. -minimal amount of vegetables, less than others... -decided to take most of it home, it traveled well. reheated ok. 3.95 stars-was thinking 5 stars. deciding not to repeat lowered it to 4. -only 1 pic came out, the one taken on iPhone 10. *the lack of pics clued me to the illusion of culinary expertise. the visual stimuli perceived didn't match what my tastebuds tasted and naked eyes saw. note: I lacked pics due to picking wrong iCloud backup option to my iPhone 11 when it locked me out ... *posted iMessage to Patricia Y. with receipt to show I was there. the pics taken were lost due to iCloud backup miscue. **May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Yelp
Thai Table is a colorfully decorated restaurant offering affordable Thai dishes in a casual setting. We started with the Papaya Salad, a rather bland mixture of shredded papaya, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, red cabbage, and crushed peanuts. The Nam Khao Salad Lettuce Wraps were made of crispy broken rice balls, chewy chunks of fermented pork sausage, peanuts, shallots, and herbs. Though this is usually a highlight dish for me, the rice wasn't particularly crispy, and the flavors seemed toned down. A better dish was the Spicy Seafood Drunken Egg Noodles, made with chewy egg noodles stir-fried in a savory, sticky sauce along with bell peppers, onions, green beans, egg, and mixed seafood including shrimp, squid, and mussels. A similar-tasting dish was the Squid Gra Prow Basil Garlic, a stir-fry of chewy squid, onions, bell peppers, zucchini, garlic, chili, and basil, all in a savory dark sauce. Finally, the Khao Soi was made of egg noodles in a thick coconut curry, topped with a chicken drumstick, red onions, pickled vegetables, and crispy noodles. Overall, while everything was decent, the flavors of the dishes weren't the best quality I've had, though everything came at good prices and in generous portions.

Yelp
Really liked this place! Came here for dinner with a friend! She recommended the spot and it was cute, cozy, plenty of street parking too! Food was very yummy, orderee Papaya Salad, Taro buns, Panang Curry....I forogt the other orders but everything was super affordable and totally shareable!

Yelp
My friend and I had a delightful late lunch here. The dining room is colorful and the service was friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed the green curry, fresh rolls and pad see ew. I would recommend and will be back.

Yelp
This place is my new favorite Thai spot! Came in on a Sunday night and it was pretty busy especially with pick up orders so I knew right away the food was going to be great. The dishes are served family style so great for sharing. We started with the pineapple wontons and the roti with yellow curry. The yellow curry is to die for. We have the crab rolls too and those were very good. We got 2 different fried rices and the pad see ew and everything was delicious! The service was also excellent given it was pretty busy. The decor is really cute and the music makes it feel like a club but in a good way! Will definitely be back again soon!

Yelp
This is a great stop just off the highway on University ave. The parking can be a little hard to find but mostly just regular street parking. The inside is a little small so ideally it's more casual dining and suitable for smaller groups. The inside is decorated very nicely and looks quite vibrant. They play trendy pop music and it's a pretty loud setting so more for people who enjoy that type of atmosphere. The service was 50:50 for me. I had two different waiters helping us out. One had been very pleasant and welcoming and I really enjoyed their service. Another was less joyous and didn't disclose additional costs when taking our orders. For example, they asked if we wanted extra rice with our curry dish but wouldn't disclose that it would be an extra cost. Personally it wasn't a big deal for me, but it's something to keep in mind when ordering here that many proteins or rice additions are extra and not included in base cost of dishes. The food was pretty good. I got the pad kee mao (drunken noodle), chicken noodle soup, and yellow curry with chicken. All the dishes were pretty pleasing in flavor and portion sizes. The chicken noodle soup was tangy and savory. The yellow curry was refreshing and not overly heavy. The pad kee mao was also pretty tasty. Overall, the restaurant is a neat place to dine at with a small party and it's very conveniently located in contrast to most places in Berkeley. I would highly recommend giving the place a try if you're looking for some nice aesthetics and decent Thai food.

Yelp
This place was really good. Avoid the sausage though, too spicy for my taste. We had many dishes and they were all perfectly made so I don't think you can go wrong with your order. I definitely would go back.

Yelp
Literally a 5 min walk from my spot in west Berkeley. Always consistent and delicious! If I'm ever in the mood for some Thai I know where to get it. Funny that I'm writing this while in a Thailand but this is for me one of the closest spots to that authentic taste that I look for while eating Thai food. I'm really not into that other farm house place, too gimmicky I'm sorry lol Come here for your Thai food needs and you some be disappointed
