Cozy little spot you can BYOB to. There's no Asian cooks, so it's not exactly what you think when you walk in. Food was decent, pretty sure it gave me the runs after. I saw they average 3 stars so I wasn't shocked going in. There was 1 dish that was BOMB 💣 😋 I ordered 2 portions with, with extra peanut butter sauce. Might have been chicken pad thai. Don't knock it, til you try it. It's worth the price

Ordered takeout with beef pad see ew and Thai style chicken wings. The wings were $10 for only 4 pieces and the worst thing is, how they looked. They look like candied apples and never in all my experience with chicken wings from Thai restaurants, have I ever come across something like this. Not at all authentic or appetizing. I was too scared to even try it and will be throwing them out. The noodles were $15-16, and edible. Taste-wise, it was okay. Nothing great. I am not sure on how fresh they are to be honest but at least, visually, they look more representative of pad see ew that I’ve had before from other places. I would skip this joint. Not ordering again.

There's great food at this small hole-in-the-wall Thai shop. There's an affordable menu with many options; I ordered Pad Thai with beef, and it was so delicious! There is also a small seating area with tables.

Consistently order and pickup from here. Basil and Pineapple fried rices are my go to. Great amount for the price and flavorful.

Love chilling in here for late night dinners. The hosts are awesome and friendly.

GREAT Service! excellent food. space is in the celluar unit so hv to walk downstairs a few steps. Green Curry with Shrimp and the Jasime Rice. Very Good. The Mango Sticky Rice must try, so good. 4 star is because of the wings not the flavor.

Food was A1, was skeptical because I had ordered from a different place before and food was horrible. I ordered the basil fried rice spicy and it was better than I expected. Ate in my car. Flavor was dope food was fresh and hot deff would come here again and it’s affordable $12 bucks plus tax easy go to.

Very generous portions and really delicious cooked to order fresh Thai food. The only thing it's a little tiny to bring a crowd or sit down but usually they seem to do a lot of take out and delivery orders. The Food itself is amazing!

Ordered late night delivery from here (like midnight, surprised they were open) - just a spicy green curry. Absolutely delicious and super quick delivery. Definitely will order from here again!

Needed some comfort food that would be easy on my stomach so I ordered pad king (ginger) - mild and yellow curry with chicken. Received pad kra prao instead (spicy, basil), and the yellow curry is so sweet and sugary -- I've never experienced yellow curry like this. The pad kra pao is decent but unfortunately I can't eat spicy food right now. The curry is so sweet that I can't enjoy it. That means most of the food will end up going to waste. I hate wasting food and will not be ordering from here again!

Mediocre late night Thai take out that offer free delivery (which I found out after I sent my bf out at 1am, lol), and has decent portions. The pad Thai wasn't even spicy nor tasted like pad Thai.

Still extremely expensive food for a family, so we can only order from here every week or two. Used to be very well priced, but not since the pandemic. For about $21 we can get a decent sized portion now. But these folks must be making a literal fortune. My kids love this food, just wish I could afford it more often. Weird how Asian food is now the most expensive food in Manhattan.

Really good thai food in a pinch! Was with a friend at Bellevue hospital and needed somewhere to grab good food nearby. Walked around until I found this hole-in-the-wall looking underground place. There wasn't really anywhere super comfortable to sit, but I figured it out. I got tom kha soup and lettuce wraps, everything was delicious. And the service was fantastic too - super nice and friendly and fast! Would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

My delivery order included Thai Iced Tea, Pad Thai, Crispy Ribs, and Pork PotStickers. The food was delicious! I especially loved the PotStickers but would recommend all of it. I ordered medium spicy in the Pad Thai but it didn't have a spicy taste at all. I think it is posible that they forgot to make it spicy. However, I will definitely eat here again!

First of amazing customer service, very sweet people. Second the food is so good, I had started to come here once a week and they nail it every time. The place here is very peaceful and chill, that's why I love coming here. For sure try their fried rice, my favorite dish!

The first time I ordered Pad Thai (to go) it was $14 and perfect and delicious! The next time I came (to go) it was not good. Not the same ingredients. The 3rd time I came I told the server that the first time I came the meal was so much better than the last. He asked me how they could improve it and I told them. It was still not as good as first visit (different cook?) but it was an improvement over the second visit. Today was my 4th and final visit to this place. I explained to them how I liked the food - just as the previous visit and suddenly it was $17.75 - up $3.75 from less than 2 weeks ago. And it was barely edible. Very inconsistent food preparation and price. Not my kind at of place. Will not be returning. My tummy says NO NO NO!

I've ordered from here a couple of times before and it was good but yesterday I had a bad experience which kept getting worse. Yesterday, I ordered chicken massaman curry and a side of roti. The estimated wait was 30-45 minutes but the food arrived about 60 minutes later. The food was cold but I didn't care because I was hungry but where it got worse was I opened the food and found a long hair in the rice. I contacted about it and was told that I needed to speak to the manager who wasn't in and would have to call the next day. I contact today and they didn't seem to really care and just offered to give me a $2 refund. Definitely won't be ordering from here again. I usually order from other Thai places but like this one because this is the only one I know of that has roti but so much for that.

I came here for dinner on a Tuesday night with a group of four people. The place is in a basement but there is seating for small groups. This is definitely a hole in the wall kind of place so don't expect much in ambiance. We ordered the chicken pad kee mao, the chicken green curry fried rice, the chicken spicy peanut curry noodles, and the chicken green curry. The portions were larger than I expected. The best dish out of the four we ordered was the chicken green curry. The green curry was very flavorful and rich. The other dishes were a bit bland, especially the spicy peanut curry noodles. The prices were decent for the neighborhood. Also, they have 25% off on Groupon cashback. The staff were very friendly and fast in serving us. I would come back and try their other dishes.

This is a no frills, good value for the price, take-out Thai place. After trying to call to place an order (no one picked up the phone), we decided to walk over to scope out the place. It's small with 3 tables and some bar seating. Wouldn't dine in unless I was starving, but is a great option to take out. Next time will order online... as we were sitting there waiting, they had a lot of takeout orders going out for delivery. Seemed pretty busy for a Sunday night. Tom Yum Soup: my husband is very particular about his tom yum soup, and he loved this one. Flavor is on point. (Other plus: the small size came with 6 shrimp!) Pad Thai: this was disappointing. Lacked flavor (can't pinpoint what exactly), but I would rate this pad thai below average. Pad See Yew: Solid. No complaints Red curry: the portion was HUGE. The tub was chock full of chicken and all the veggies, too. They didn't skimp on portions. All in all, I think we will definitely order takeout from them in the future. The portions are very generous, and not expensive ($12 for your standard noodle or curry dish? I'll take it). We'll just avoid the pad thai next time

I loved it! This is what I needed for my late night dinner (1:30am). I ordered the Massaman Curry with vegetables and tofu (loved the tofu because they were in little rectangular prism forms, some Thai place have them too big in my opinion but this place perfect size) and I thought it was very flavorful! Maybe could have had a couple more potato pieces in it though. My boyfriend ordered the chicken Pad Thai and he thinks it needed more flavor, i tasted a noodle and thought it was fine. My dish was better though but call me biased. We ordered delivery and the food was warm ready to eat when it got here!

Review for delivery/take-out: I ordered from this place via Seamless. Overall, food was mediocre (unfortunately). I ordered the Veg Summer Rolls, Chicken and Shrimp Shumai and Beef Pho. First the veg summer rolls were advertised with tofu - the summer rolls had just vegetables with no tofu. The rolls were extremely bland (even with the peanut sauce - a big let down for being $8 and only having 2 veggie summer rolls that I could have made myself. (Imagine just iceberg lettuce, carrots and noodles - no bean sprouts, basil, protein, etc.) The shumai was also not great - I typically love dumplings/shumai and am not terribly picky, but the shumai were slightly overcooked and dry. Again, not much flavor there. Lastly the pho was also mediocre - broth was not a typical pho broth and lacked that depth/flavor. Tasted more just like a regular noodle soup that you can order at a Chinese restaurant, didn't taste authentic.

Often my reviews are longer. I try to write the good as well as any critique. Even my critiques try to be thorough examinations. Here I can only state my disappointment. My wife ordered dinner from here. I got the crispy duck. It was neither crispy nor whole pieces of duck. Honestly, it was chopped up fat, and greasy, with only a tiny portion of duck meat. The rice and the vegetables were not bad. But the primary portion of the meal was almost inedible. Certainly not worth $17.50 in my opinion.

I ordered chicken pho and a Thai iced tea. They delivered it very fast, it was packed like it was given for free, the Thai iced tea was too sweet and nothing like what I have had anywhere else in New York, I ate the pho/noodle soup and three hours later I started getting all sweaty and I threw up twice, had to run to the bathroom multiple times. Checked and I found the restaurant already had violations on it and I fail to understand why yelp would mislead customers by letting us order from restaurants that have violations and has a history of serving bad food. Never ordering from here again.

Really sick and ordered on DoorDash - chicken noodle soup with rice noodles and Tom yum soup with chicken and mushrooms. Both were good - very generous with the vegetables, chicken, and mushrooms. Only thing is it could've used some more basil. Some may think the chicken soup is bland but it was perfect for someone sick.

Got the chicken pad Thai. It is very ehhhh. Only ok, not a lot of flavor or spice. Portion size is good but I would not eat here again. Pros: lots of bean sprouts, lots of chicken, good portion size. Cons: not amazing taste.

Extremely pleasant staff, but the food was horrible. I had shrimp spring rolls. Shrimp taste frozen. There was mint instead of basil which threw me off, the wrap for the spring roll tasted bitter and broke apart immediately when I tried to eat it. They gave hoisin sauce instead of peanut sauce. The absolute worst spring roll I've ever had. The purpose of the spring roll is to eat it without a fork and I needed a fork for this! But still didn't eat it because it was inedible and the shrimp had a vein in it! I'm really sad because I was super hungry and the staff was super sweet, but the food was horrible. Unfortunately I will never go again.

After getting off work at 11:30pm I texted some friends to meet up. We were hungry and wanted a quick meal to warm our tummies, but these days everywhere you look in nyc restaurants are closing early. So disappointing! But that's okay. Because Thai V Express was open. The food was great. But the especially fantastic. Thank you so much for a great experience!

I was in need of some late evening Thai comfort food via delivery and this place was perfect. This was in no way the highest quality Thai food I've ever had, but the pad woon sen was instantly comforting. It was flavorful without being terribly greasy. The duck was surprisingly good quality for a place with "express" in the name. Overall it felt like being hugged by a warm home cooked meal.

We ordered a large amount of food for a dinner meeting. It was hot and fresh when it arrived. Got rave reviews from all the members. Will definitely order again for those banana bites!

3 stars because the food is decent enough. I had the spicy peanut flat noodles and I enjoyed it. If you want something quick and cheap this is the place. Across the street and down the block there is another Thai spot, I think is better. The staff is friendly enough but don't expect regular restaurant service. If you want a quick bite that's a step above fast food & freshly made, this is it.

WHY ARE YALL PUTING BELL PEPPERS IN THE FRIED RICE?!??!? It's not good nor is that considered "mild". Please take them out and your ratings with skyrocket!

Very unprofessional and not accountable for late deliveries also the delivery guy doesn't have a phone . So your just going to have to wait for your cold food lol ... the Quality is average.. but yeah for the city this was very disappointing

Stopped by on my way home -- they just opened about a week ago. I stuck to the basics and ordered the shrimp spring rolls along with the Pad Kee Mao. I'm 100% Thai so am pretty picky when it comes to Thai food. This is definitely tasty and worth stopping in for a takeout night. Good addition to the neighborhood!

My husband and I ordered many dishes from this new thai establishment. The food was very food and the service was quick! They even called me to say they were on their way to ensure the food would arrive soon. The staff were so nice and even the delivery guy was very kind! Will definitely order from here again!

If you are looking for a true Thai experience - like the fasting rituals practiced by Thai forest monks, then this is the place for you. I called when the food was 45 mins late, they told me they were just preparing the food now and that I should expect it within 10 mins. 45 mins after that, the food finally shows up. So how was the food after being 90 minutes late? - it was missing 2 out of 5 items. - the food that did arrive was warm and I hear was tasty. (I didn't get to eat any of it because we were short 40% of the order and since I was the one who chose this place, I figured I should be the one to sit out this Thai experience). The rest of the order was delivered 30 minutes later (2 hours after it was supposed to arrive).

Ordered delivery- the red curry and I'm super underwhelmed. Normally red curry is super creamy and flavorful- this tasted like red pepper was the only spice. I've had way better for the same or less money in the city. Wouldn't try again.

This place is HORRIBLE!! The rice is tasteless!!!!! Please don't request an order online and put that you want sauces of utensils because they CANT read and won't provide them to you!!! Owner is very RUDE!!

I stopped by this place I've never seen before I'm guessing it is a new Thai food restaurant and let me tell you how good this food is. It is really tasty and has really good customer service. The food I tried was perfect and I will definitely come by and visit more often.
