Crossroads-area mom-and-pop known for rich panang curry, legit khao soi, and a sweet finish of house coconut ice cream. The menu keeps spice and aromatics in balance; the official page confirms hours and menu staples. A comfortable, value-forward stop for takeout or dine-in.

Google
Amazing Thai food here. I been here many times and tried almost all the noodle dishes, all of them are super tasty! Today I had flavorous Pad Thai and homemade coconut ice cream. The coconut ice cream here is the best if I had in my life😋

Google
Very tasty and beautifully served dishes in a clean environment and great service. Love that there weren’t too many people during the time we went around 3 PM. The coconut ice cream was amazing.

Good fresh Thai food. Good friendly service. Good portions Reasonable prices. Convenient location

Cute little Thai restaurant. The lunch special was an assortment of dishes, so it was fun to try new things. All the food was tasty and our server was great.

Google
I have been here for several lunches now as well as dinner. Their Mango salad is delicious and so is their homemade coconut ice cream. Every dish I've eaten has been good and the service is fast and good too.

Google
A good khao soi maybe over topped with too many fried noodles vs. Fresh noodles. But the soup base is great and maybe a touch too rich with a lot of coconut milk. Seasonal mango dishes with strong fish sauce flavor, and a basic lunch combination special that comes with a relatively a pretty good pad Thai with not overly sweet flavors.

Google
We love this Thai place and the food is amazing! Never a bad meal here and have it at least twice a month, carry out! Leftovers are just as good! The owner is so sweet and remembers us! Love this place!

Cedar Ren

Google
Amazing. Michelin 3 star food and environment for basically McDonald's prices. Listened to the lady (whom I assume is the owner) when she talk to the other tables. She offered 3 separate tables mango sticky rice and they all said no. We asked her to get us one, and it was THE BEST MANGO STICKY RICE EVER.

Yelp
First of all, this is a very cute quaint little place. Very clean. The furnishings are very classy. The girl who waited on us was just lovely! All of the dishes were great and we tried like six entrees family style! The pad Thai was delicious! The Panang curry spot on! Not too spicy. The lemon ginger tea was fabulous! And they make STICKY RICE!! Very few Thai places do that any more!! My favorite! To be 100% honest The chicken was a little bit dry. But seriously, if I lived here this would be a regular spot!!

Yelp
I love Thai Food. I visited Thai VP at the recommendation of a friend, and my lunch was delicious. I can see why the Kapow Gai with Fried Egg is popular. The flavors of garlic, onion, chopped green beans, and bell pepper were outstanding. The iced Thai coffee was plentiful, tasty, and refreshing. The service was outstanding. Kham was friendly and gave good advice. She is also liked by the friend who recommended me to the restaurant. She allowed me to take a picture of her for my friend. Ambiance? Comfortable, clean, and inviting. I recommend Thai VP Restaurant for excellent Thai food at a reasonable price.

Yelp
This place is relatively small, but cozy, and very clean! The staff I interacted with was super friendly and attentive to my needs while eating. The flavors were solid. To be honest I like my Thai basil spicier and they didn't ask me how much spice I wanted. Good portion size for the price.

Yelp
We enjoyed another delicious dinner at Thai VP. I'm so happy their food is just as good as it always has been. I ordered Pad Thai with tofu and Hubs ordered Pad See Ew. The portions were nice-sized & the food was very tasty (tho the Pad Thai noodles could have been cooked a little bit longer). We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
We ordered from Thai VP via GrubHub last week. Delivery and everything was fast and the food arrived hot--no issues there. We had the green curry with tofu (reasonably good, but effectively the same as many other Thai places around), cashew chicken (just ok, nothing special), and Pad See Iew (not good: ordered with '3' spicy and it seemed like they just dumped powdery hot pepper flakes and dust on it, drying it out and giving the noodles a slight crunch texture), and the chicken satay (also not good: chicken was rubbery, probably old?). This is the same basic kind of Thai food you'd get anywhere else, but somehow done _worse_ than take-out from most of those other places, and it's just a poor value for the money even when you take into account the jacked up pricing to deliver through an app like GrubHub.

Yelp
Great food great prices. This is my second time here and i will be back. Lots of parking and near xroads.

Kim S.

Yelp
I order the #18. Pad Thai many times. I like it with chicken or prawns. My coworker orders the Tofu. Portions are plentiful. Very friendly staff. Owner, she is very outgoing. Located in crossroads. Small strip mall behind crossroads mall.

Yelp
Excellent food and staff with very reasonable prices too. I go to Bangkok often and this food is authentic ! Simple restaurant but nice and clean relaxed atmosphere. Definitely good choice for quick lunch combo or uber eats!

Yelp
It was an utter disappointment! The quantity was super low for the price. We were super hungry and were looking for Thai places close by. It was almost empty when we went there. We weren't sure if they serve us or we'd have go to the counter and order We ordered the VP fried rice, thai ginger. The quantity was so less. It tasted decent but not like something that I would go back and eat again Overall not worth the price. I wouldn't personally recommend this to anyone

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Thai resto in the area - they are quick and super friendly. Food here is amazing

Yelp
Thai food is one of my favorite! I love mango sticky rice session. I have yet to find a place that has amazing mango sticky rice. The restaurant was empty the employee who helped me was very polite & recommended the home made coconut ice cream in addition to the the mango sticky rice. I ordered to go & was ready fairly quickly. I had never seen green sticky rice, so that was interesting. The photo showed white rice. The mangos off course didn't disappoint. Sweet just perfect! I tried the ocean combo & was not a fan. I dont like warm with cold together. The ice cream sponge is yummy. I would order that again from here. The rice was hard but not like the under cooked hard rice. It was different, there were more mangoes than there were rice. I will come back to try again. Maybe not the mango sticky rice though.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a weekday, and we were seated quickly and the staff was very attentive. They have great lunch specials that come with both a side of Pad Thai and rice, which is great for those who like to try a bit of everything. I ordered the lemongrass chicken entree which I didn't quite like the flavor of and wish I ordered a lunch special like my friends did. I'd come back again but try something else next time!

Eric W.

Yelp
Delicious food, nice place to go in Crossroads. Had the Tom Kha and pineapple fried rice and both were delicious. The prices weren't bad too. The server there was a hard worker in a popular restaurant. I plan to go back.

Yelp
A lovely lady greeted us with a "welcome, seating for two?" She immediately brought us water and asked if we would like tea. She was very pleasant. The Pad Thai, Coconut Shrimp and Pot Stickers were very delicious. We enjoyed our evening. Very relaxing, no hurry. Great food. We will go back. Richard and Sheila

Yelp
Smallish restaurant with pleasant ambiance, comfortable chairs, very flavorful food and great service. We came lunch on Saturday around 1-2pm and we were the only customers, but there was a steady stream of people coming to pick up. We had a seafood dish from the specialty menu and a dish with glass noodles which I never had. They were both excellent.

Sherana A.

Yelp
Wow! I've been to a lot of Thai places and this is by far my favorite! From the coconut shrimp to the drunken noodles! Absolutely perfect and the service was amazing. I will be back a lot!

Yelp
Best Thai restaurant on the Eastside. Have eaten here 3 times. Usually order Pad Thai and Yellow Curry online through their website for pick up. Food was always ready in 10 mins. Both dishes are 10/10, portion sizes are always great. Restaurant always busy and owner/server very polite.
google avatar

Becky C.

Yelp
Very small portion size. After a long day of work, I was tired and didn't want to cook. So I ordered Yellow Curry with Rice.. it was a mistake. The portion size was sooo small that I needed to cook ramen after eating it. And I just cannot justify paying near $20 for this type of portion size. I ordered through grubhub and I cannot adjust the spice level. The Yellow Curry was spicier than anticipated which was another bumper as I can't really eat spicy food. I ordered pad thai from Thai VP before and the portion size was okay. I didn't need to cook anything after eating that.

Yelp
This is more of a 4.5 stars review. Thai VP is located in the strip mall restaurants area that is behind/east of Crossroads Mall. It's my first visit and take-out order from them. All 5 dishes were a hit. When I see delicious and plentiful sauces, I always try to take advantage of it by adding more veggies at home. This was the case for all 4 of the main dishes. I never modify the sauce itself, just more ingredients to absorb that flavorful goodness. Two of my photos are the "originals". The next four is as-served after modifications at home. All the dishes turned out super good and extra, extra plentiful. Some became two meals. The Food: Summer Eggplant with Soft Tofu - 5 Stars I ordered this as a 5 stars spicy and added broccoli, Chinese mushrooms, bell peppers at home. I sizzled the mushrooms first in the sauce, added the veggies, then warmed the rest in the same pan. It was perfection in now a two-days serving. Pumpkin Curry with Chicken - 4.5 Stars Added broccoli, Chinese mushrooms at home and served over brown rice. The sauce is deliciously plentiful and adding the veggies really took advantage of this dish. This is a more unique Thai dish, less common elsewhere. Devil Lamb Curry - 4.5 Stars Added broccoli, Chinese mushrooms, bell peppers at home and served over brown rice. This is also a unique one amongst Thai restaurants. The taste was good too. The ingredients were a bit light, primarily a few pieces of potatoes so added the veggies was a great idea. When re-heating, I kept the lamb out till the last two min, then stirred them in to warm. Curry Seafood - 4 Stars Added Chinese mushrooms, bell peppers, and brown rice at home. I order this as 5 Stars spicy. Adding the rice directly into the sauce made every bite super flavorful. The seafood is fairly light, 2 prawns, 2 halves of a scallop, 1 piece of squid, and 1 green mussel. Next time, I'll add a touch more seafood too. Mango Sweet Sticky Rice - 4 Stars This was very good for flavor profile. I thought the sauce was a bit light/runny. I like it a tad thicker to stick to the rice better.

Yelp
This place only has a "Good" health rating. I hadn't been there and I ordered online. Had I known it didn't have an "Excellent" health rating, I would not have ordered. I ordered Cashew Nuts Lover's - very few cashews and Beef Kee Mao. Neither had much flavor. I ordered Mango Sticky Rice with coconut milk. I do not know what I got - but it wasn't rice - it was green and it wasn't at all like the picture - no coconut milk - no rice. I would not eat there again.

Yelp
Food is consistently good. Not greasy. They are great about making items gluten free. Service is great for dining in or taking out. Restaurant is always clean.

Yelp
I was craving Thai food and this was in the area so decided to give it a try. The place is located outside of crossroads mall where joybox and doughzone is. After looking at the menu, we decided to try the devil's lamb curry and the crispy garlic wings. Evei was delicious, the wings was crispy and perfectly cook. It was on the tiny side though. The lamb in the curry was super tender and the broth itself was very flavorful, reminds me of Indian curry rather than Thai. This would have been a 4 star rating but the price have to knock it down a star. The curry was small portion and it doesn't come with rice. You definitely need rice in order to eat the curry, so for a bowl of curry and rice, you're looking at $17. I would have been ok of it was spectacular but it wasnt. And the chicken wings, as I mentioned, is small (little bigger than karage). And for $8 for 6 small wings is pricey

Yelp
Thai VP is my go-to place for Tom Yum/Ka soup with extra seafood. I order online and the order is quick and easy to come out for pickup. Napkins and utensils are always offered with a smile. The price is about what you'd expect for adding extra seafood. It is always a treat :)

Shavonda W.

Yelp
Shrimp fried rice was terrible the rice was mush like pudding and the taste was disgusting and there customer service was bad they acted like they didn't want to take my order in the first place
google avatar

Philip S.

Yelp
I was in the area, needed some lunch and found this hidden place. I asked for the special Crab fried rice and it was delicious. Two star spiciness level which was perfect for me. The hostess was a kind and friendly woman... didn't say a whole lot though. Regardless, the food was really good. I believe they have a lunch special for $12 which I didn't notice until I paid my bill. Worth checking it out again!

Yelp
Loveeee this place, really in the top tier of thai restaurants on the eastside and I do not say that lightly. Tofu Pad Kee Mao, 4 stars spicy - the 4 stars spicy was actually spicy, which I enjoyed! A lot of vegetables (I love how they put broccoli in their pad kee mao, I don't think many other places do that) and all cooked to a great texture. The tofu was good, fried in a way that was very enjoyable. One indicator that this place is good is the sauce hit every square inch of noodle- at a lot of other places, I've noticed some noodles either stick together so they don't get cooked in sauce, or there isn't enough sauce/seasoning used, so I really enjoyed how consistent the flavoring was all the way through. Mango Sticky Rice - the mangos were very ripe, and there was a good amout of coconut milk too! I think the rice was cooked well (not too dense, good texture) and I love how it was green. Tasty!!! The staff here are very nice, too! I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I got Pad Thai, Squash Curry, tofu fresh rolls and crab ragoons. They were all delicious. I can't speak to the service as I got delivery but the food came earlier than expected and the serving size is impressive. They do charge you extra for rice with your curry, but it's only a couple of bucks and it is delicious. I got medium spicy and it was great, had a kick but wasn't tough to eat. Some of the best thai food I've had in awhile!

Yelp
Been coming to this strip to order food for a few years now but never set foot inside Thai VP. By chance, I was craving some Thai food and remembered this place always had good reviews, so I stopped by and gave it a chance and it did not disappoint. I've had the Pineapple Fried Rice, Crispy Basil Chicken, Pad Kee Mao, and Mango Sweet Sticky Rice. The Pineapple Fried Rice is savory and very yummy. This is one of the main reasons I'm a return customer. My kid keeps asking me if he can have this dish again! The Crispy Basil Chicken was true to its name. It was crispy on the outside, yet tender on the inside. It was also pretty spicy and went well with the sauce and plenty of rice. The Pad Kee Mao was lacking a bit, not that it wasn't good, it was fine, but just didn't really stand out from other Thai restaurants. I wouldn't mind ordering it if I'm already dining here, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here if I just want really good Pad Kee Mao. And yeah, the Mango Sweet Sticky Rice was really good too. The mango was fresh and sweet, and was a great way to end our meal. I've only done pickups, but the staff was always friendly. Parking right on the street is a pain since it's always full most of the time, but there's a parking lot near by.

Yelp
Not the best Thai food. My friends and I were looking to check out a Thai restaurant in Bellevue that we hadn't been to before, and Thai VP had popped up among our Yelp searches. Located past Crossroads Mall, off of 8th, it's located in a strip mall. Thai VP's space is on the smaller side, but it wasn't busy on a Saturday around lunch. There were only two other groups dining in. For lunch I ordered the Rad Na with four stars spice and pork. It didn't take long for us to get our food, and for the most part, it was A-OK. It didn't taste bad, but it just wasn't something that had me craving for more. Portion was a good size for lunch, but there wasn't enough noodles, in proportion to the veggies and pork. Pork was tender, which was nice, and I did like the variety of the veggies. Had there been more noodles though, it would've helped soak up the gravy sauce with. What was also disappointing was the lack of spice. I ordered my dish four out of five stars and it was not spicy at all, not even a hint of it. Overall, with many other Thai restaurants on the Eastside I can't say I'd be back to Thai VP. Average food.

Yelp
The place has got really bad recently!! We use to like the food and ordered To go all the time. Last few times we noticed that there was hair in the food, and the employee who was mopping the floor went back without wearing the gloves put garnish on our food and very recently there was a piece of styrofoam in our food. When I called and spoke to owner/manager Lily - instead of apologizing she hung up. She also started blaming me and said we keep history on all customers and you did this third or forth time. I ordered at this restaurant twice every week for a year and if I am paying for food I expect it to be good not have Hair or styrofoam in it. They have lost my business!! Update on review - I called back again to ask for a refund and Lily the manager said she goes to Five star restaurant and it happens all the time. So she is ok of it happens at this restaurant. She was not ready to give me a refund and had a very bad attitude!! They have lost our business with that attitude!

Yelp
Late review but I did take out from here few weeks ago and upon walking in I was greeted by kham. She was super nice and helpful which is also one of the main reasons why I will be returning to try more deliciousness! If you read this far I spoiled the review but YES! The food is delish, I ordered the panang curry , pad kee mao , crab wontons and the mango sticky rice! Everything was scrumptious and authentic. (I'm really picky being Thai) Eating dinner that night gave me ratatouille effect and brought me back to my childhood when my grandma would whip up all the good stuff and this place is right there with her. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice quiet tasty lunch or dinner and not having to pay a premium like other places in the Bellevue area. Not saying anything about other restaurants but this place is great for someone who doesn't want a super packed loud crazy experience just to eat authentic Thai cuisine. In my opinion you get a better bonding food experience here without any extra interruptions. Must try! Go Go Go!
google avatar

Micheal S.

Yelp
absolutely amazing food 10-10 perfection coconut ice cream was so good and the pad thai was so good give it a try if you are looking for authentic thai food.

Yelp
Very fast! I went in to order and it took less than 10 minutes. Lots of parking in the parking lot too. Safe, everyone was wearing a mask inside. We ordered the Phad Kee Mao Beef, Phad Thai Chicken, Yellow Curry Chicken, large rice, and Thai Iced Tea. All 2 out of 5 stars spice. It was perfect level of spice for us. Highly recommend all everything we had. It was fantastic!
google avatar

Rohan K.

Yelp
Grabbed a Pad Thai just to try the place out and because the wife was craving one. The wait was really long, almost 40 minutes to get it to-go, I guess they were running busy. The food itself was actually pretty good. The pad thai was doused, and I mean doused in fish sauce. The whole car, the whole house, the whole neighborhood was smelling like fish sauce by the time we took it home and ate it. I guess it's a good thing we like fish sauce. Overall, a fair portion at a decent price and wasn't too Americanized. Will stop by again to try more dishes and update the review. So far, a good first impression.

Yelp
Order door dash pickup and my food was ready within 15 mins. The appetizers I got sere fresh and crispy. You could tell everything was fresh and cooked to order. This is my first time ordering Thai food here, the whole fam loved it, we'll be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent ambience, cuisine, and service. Chicken wing appetizers are always good here. Try any of the Thai stables, like Tom Yum and curry dishes.

Korry P.

Yelp
Wife had a craving for Pad Thai. Was concerned they may not be open. Called twice and finally learned they were doing take out. We ordered a few items and they were great. Would like to go back and eat inside. This really is the one of the best Thai place on the greater Eastside.
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
We had the Tom yum chicken soup and the green curry plate with white rice. We liked the curry a lot, but the soup was alright. The check comes with a small portion of coconut ice-cream, it was good. Maybe service can be a little better, more attention to detail.

Yelp
If you're bored by the usual pad thai, allow me to introduce you to this seafood curry special from Thai VP in Bellevue (Crossroads). It has tons of fresh green beans, peppers, celery, onions, and basil, with a few prawns, squid, mussels, and scallops, and dressed in a flavorful curry sauce. I paired it with some homemade quinoa for a healthy, delicious meal. It didn't have a ton of seafood, but the pieces were fresh and honestly it was just the right amount of food for me. And then I ate their mango sticky rice dessert, because life's too short to skip dessert at the tail end of mango season. It's all about balance, amirite? Perfectly ripe Alphonso mangos paired with sweet sticky rice and coconut milk. Heaven! (I also stole bites of my husband's pad see lew with chicken. Delicious too. Shhhh don't tell him.)
google avatar

Miki M.

Yelp
Seriously some of the best Thai food I've had. Anytime I'm in Bellevue I stop to eat here. The staff is always so nice and attentive. My go to are the heavenly sizzling beef and the Tom kha soup add rice noodles. The curries are super bomb as well!
google avatar

Jen M.

Yelp
Finally found a place on the east side that serves legit khao soi. Still a little more thick that I'm used to via Chiang Mai, but still savory, spicy and oh so good. Love the rice and crispy egg noodles with plenty of chicken. Definitely good Thai comfort food. Also tried the devils curry with lamb which had a great flavor and was delicious as well. Both meat (lamb and chicken) were slightly overcooked but other than that, strong thumbs up. And to cleanse the palate at the end, they give the most delicious tiny scoop of coconut ice cream. Not normally a coconut fan but that was exceptional I'd buy a pint on its own just to savor. Yum.

Yelp
This place is so great. We live about 45 minutes away so it's been awhile since we've been here but it was as good as it was before. Fresh, delicious. The food came out fast and hot. We weren't rushed. He recommended the homemade coconut ice cream which of course we ordered. There's nothing like it. I didn't take pictures, but we had the spring rolls and crab appetizer. Pad Thai and garlic chicken. For dessert, he said there was a delicious special of sticky rice with mango. I had never had anything like that before. It was amazing! I want to go back just for that.

B C.

Yelp
Excellent Thai. Great service, good menu and variety. Recommend to any in Bellevue area
google avatar

Julie A.

Yelp
So delicious, so fresh. Crab rolls were crispy, perfectly fried, tasty cream cheese and the crab tasted real. Some of the best crab won tons I've had, and I've had lots! See iew had tender but perfectly chewy wide noodles, quite scrumptious. We loved everything we ordered. I only wish my Kao soi had come with Mustard greens and was a bit less spicy, but since I didn't ask to make it less spicy, my fault. Service was impeccable and friendly. Wish I'd had room for their desserts, I know they'd be top notch too. Highly recommend.

Janet I.

Yelp
This is the best Thai on the East Side. Fresh healthy thai and the best service ever.

Yelp
Tasty food but serving size is poor. Great ambiance and friendly service. Parking is no problem

Yelp
My go to local Thai place! Always reliable on good food! Never been disappointed. I always do take out, have never dined in

Yelp
Meh, that's the best I have for my experience here. There was no one in the restaurant so we seated ourselves. Menus were already on the table. The guy sitting at the counter was in his phone. He came over and stared at us until we said we needed a minute to look over the menu. He came back with water then went back to whatever he was looking at behind the counter. We just wanted something quick so we ordered wings, sticky rice, crab wontons(seriously can't taste any crab), and spring rolls. The wings were supposed to be garlic but they tasted like they were soaked in salt and fried in old grease. We ate, we paid, we left. Nothing truly despicable or desirable. This place exist in a grey area from my experience. I had to walk up to ask for water when my glass was empty. Then I had to ask for boxes when it was time to go. So yeah, meh. Seems time and day matters when it comes to service with this place.

Fran A.

Yelp
Such a great find!! The service was really wonderful, and the food was excellent. Some of the most delicious and flavorful Thai food we've had :) Definitely worth checking out, and I look forward to ordering again!
