When I say the seafood was fresh, I mean the lobster still had attitude. Walked into Thirty Seven Xiang thinking it was gonna be your average hot pot joint—nope. This place came correct with the iced display upfront and tanks full of live swimmers giving you the side-eye before they hit your pot. You already know it’s about to go down when the seafood greets you before the waiter does. It’s an all-you-can-eat spot, but not that sketchy buffet kind. They bring everything out fresh, clean, no shortcuts. I had raw slices of wagyu, shrimp flapping like they were trying to escape, and clams so juicy they didn’t even need sauce. My friend swore by the spicy broth, but I went half-and-half, yin-yang style, because I like a little chaos in my cooking. The sauce station? Wild. Garlic, chili oil, scallion, soy, even raw egg—you can mix it up like a chemist. What got me was the setup—private room vibes with huge tables, hot pots built in, screens playing K-pop or Chinese ballads depending on the crew in the room. We stayed for hours. This is hands down the best buffet I’ve had in Flushing! The ingredients are super fresh, and the dishes come out incredibly fast. The private dining rooms offer a much better experience compared to the usual open seating at other places. The dry seasoning mix for the hot pot is absolutely delicious—highly recommend!

I like this hotpot spot because you get your own private booth and personal pot, which makes the experience really cozy and enjoyable. While the broth could've been a bit more flavorful for my taste, the seafood definitely made up for it. If you're a seafood lover, this is the place for you! The meat was just okay, but the fresh seafood options were the highlight for me. The server was very attentive and quick with orders, you tell them what you want than putting the orders in the tablet. Do note that some of the items are only for members but they were nice enough to accommodate and give it to me free of charge including in the ayce option without purchasing a membership

I came in for a private family thanksgiving celebration downstairs, the front desk greeted me and ushered me to look for my party. The ground floor areas looked private, each with their own cubicles. We each got our individual soup bases, i got the chicken soup which was delicious, and our sauce table was right outside the room. As evident by their restaurant name, there were many fresh seafood options, from mantis shrimp and abalone, to sashimi and fresh lobster aside from the usual meats and fishball options. the sauce bar had their usual items, did not particularly stand out. Although i can't speak for every dish, most dishes were great and well presented. there are also free bottled drinks such as ramune, jasmine tea, soy milk, and coconut milk. It was worth it given the high end seafoods, about $67 per person, not including gratuity or taxes. I would recommend!

I went and had the 80$ AYCE waygu and seafood buffet. The quality was very good. It included lobster but you only get one, but it was fresh and delicious. I ordered the spicy broth which was spicy and tasty. The meat was good and the seafood was very good. I also got sashimi which was excellent to my surprise.

I am truly disappointed with how my recent visit went. I frequented this hot pot a few times ever since they opened a few years back. Back then it was around $40 pp, now the price went up to $58 pp. A few weeks or a month ago we came by and it was only $50 pp. To us the price isnt a problem as long as the food is good. This visit we barely got everything we ordered as which they said it was due to the system being downed. When we walked in they told us service might be a little slow because servers are on their break, we didnt mind since everyone deserves their breaks. At this point we had no idea system was down since they passed us an ipad to order food since they no longer had the paper menu like they did before. We punched in the items we wanted, got only 1/3rd of the order. Food took about 15-20 mins to come out. Ordered drinks but never came out, we had to remind them a few time. Note the servers were on break but we still had our designated server who was on duty. Also, there were only about 5 other parties including us but they were already finishing up. Everything started to go down hill when we tried to order more food. Around this time there were already more servers coming back. We placed another order of the pipi shrimp and that never came out. Ordered it another time for it to come out 30 minutes later. We also tried to order another live shrimp only for them to tell us it was sold out along with half of the other items we requested. This restaurant should also consider their sanitation. There was no soap found in the bathrooms. Bowls for sauce and soup were placed on the bottom of the carts where dust and dirt can easily get on the bowls as it was in a high traffic area. Payment was also a hassle since we were also told upon payment that they were only accepting cash for today, we only had card. At this point we were frustrated with the entire stay since nothing was available and we had no notification of any of it. They all seemed to not know what they were doing, no adjustment or adapting to the system being off. When we were paying they were telling us to tip 18%, which is absurd to tell how much to tip considering the experience was bad. Tip is paid based on the servers performance not by the bill. We always take care of our servers as long as they take care of us.

We were a party of 9 seated in a private room in the basement. Upstairs looks great but downstairs like a dirty dungeon with sticky floors without ventilation and air conditioning. Most of the service was sub par and some of the staffs (mainly the ones that bring food etc, not the main waiter) were not friendly. $60 per person even for 11 year old, can't really justify the cost and the overall dirty feel environment. If you sat upstairs it's probably a better feel

When you first walk in, the ambience and decor looks really nice. However, since we had a party of 11 we were sent downstairs to sit and it was a HUGE change of decor. First room we were told to sit in had no ventilation and it smelled musty like a basement / bathroom would. And the lights were flickering on and off so we asked for a new room. In the second room the smell was gone but the floors were sticky and slippery (perhaps from the hotpot's?) so the floor had condensation. Then while eating, we saw TWO roaches on the wall. I lost my appetite by then. As another reviewer said, just sit upstairs. Downstairs looked dingy, smelled, had roaches - if this is what you like, this is the place for it! We told the waiter about the roaches and he just nodded his head and left. When bill came of course the 20% gratuity was automatically on the iPad when I was told to sign as we had a party of 11. Didn't even get a discount or anything for seeing two live roaches on the wall. Will not be coming back as bill was close to $1k for 11 people. Are you looking for AYCE hotpot, sashimi, AND Karaoke? Well... you've come to the right place! My friend hosted her graduation party here. Our party of 20+ had the private room in the back all to ourselves. As is the nature of AYCE, there was endless food. Especially the hotpot meats!! The service is great- because we were a big group, the servers brought out a ton of their basic drink selection (sodas and teas) that everyone can take. All the ingredients were great, and you definitely get your bang for your buck here with all the sashimi (salmon, octopus, oysters, and more). Some of the sashimi was a liiiitle fishy for my taste. I recommend making your hotpot sauces in the beginning, because the hot pot broths are served faster than I expected, and once the food comes out it did not stop, and I didn't want to get back up again, especially once the broth was boiling. And it's great to use the sauces for dipping the sashimi! The Karaoke component is so fun!! All the walls are lit up with the projector, namely the front and back of the room, so that no matter where one is sitting they can see the video and lyrics of the song. I recommend to get settled with the food and hotpot first. After eating a bit, we turned off the lights to let the party begin!! My one point of feedback: We only had 1 iPad to share amongst our entire group. It stalled ordering times and felt like there was one main person in charge of the iPad, or we spent time figuring out where it was. If the majority of the group doesn't care what is ordered and is hoping to get guidance from one hotpot-savvy person, then that's fine, but especially if it's a big group of people with different preferences, it was difficult to keep track or share around the iPad. It's a short walk from the Flushing Main St subway station, and guaranteed a fun time + a meal where yoyu will leave feeling STUFFED. Consider it for your next special occasion!

Food is okay but don't expect too much from them. Combined with the food and service, it wasn't worth the cost at all. I would not even recommend it for that amount with that amount of seafoods.

I came here on Christmas Day and was able to get a table right away. Very interesting interior -- there are private booths which reminds me of a village setting. We got our own little private booth. Ordering is simple and straight through a tablet so there is minimum contact with servers, making the booth truly private while we indulge our bellies out. 37 Xiang offers a seafood buffet with selections like raw oysters, clams, crab legs, sashimi and much more. Having been to another Xiang location, I thought the food quality of this place was not as good. The raw oysters weren't that fresh and kinda dirty. The appetizers were OK but the cucumbers lacked flavor and the tripe were too hard to chew. The selection and quality of the other seafood and sashimi were good though. I did enjoy my meal and the unlimited drinks I can order through the tablet. We did need to remind the server for a few things and he seemed to be busy. Overall, we still had a good experience.

Prices are a bit steeper than your usual ayce hotpot, but it does include sushi and premium seafood. We were seated in private booths - perfect for groups up to four. They have your typical soup bases and hotpot staples - sliced beef, veggies, carbs, etc. However, the selections in each category were pretty limited. (Ther was only one option for fishballs. Took advantage of the salmon sashimi, snow crab legs and crabs! Sodas were included, but speciality drinks were extra. Yelp check in offers a free drink but we were informed only one could be redeemed per table.

There are separate booths, and each person has a stove in the table for their hotpot. It's controlled with a remote, and there's a tablet to order. There's an AC unit if it gets hot. You get a plastic bib, hand wipe, and napkins. When you choose AYCE, some items are additional charge. Help yourself to condiments outside the booths. Each person can choose a broth flavor. I got the mushroom broth with different kinds of mushrooms, which was tasty. Most of the ingredients were good. My partner's family was praising the freshness of the seafood. Some of which was still wiggling. The shrimp, lobster, and crab legs were all good. We also ordered thinly sliced beef with different amounts of fat. They said the little sausages were not good. The server was nice and accommodating. They spoke to her in Mandarin. If you pay with cash, they give a free pork chop.

I love hot pot and this all you can eat checks off all the boxes for me. For $59, you get unlimited meats and seafood. Their seafood was very fresh and the variety was very surprising. You can pick shrimp cocktail, raw oysters, snow crab legs, sashami, and many more that would normally cost extra. Each table has their own private area / room. It'll either be individual pots or shared. We came a bit late so we couldn't get the individual pot room but everything was still good. Our waiter wasn't as thorough as we would like him to be. He comes back to bring the plates away but other than that, he didn't do anything else. I had to remind him to get me water twice. He was a bit weird as well but I didn't let that dampen the experience. I highly recommend this place.

Bad service: Server kept lowering the stove temperature. Soup was not refilled often. No one bothered to change plates. Not sure why the server kept lowering the stove temperature to level 3. Is it because we were in a room with no ventilation? Several servers came in and out with food, but not one person recognized that each and every one of our plates was piled with bones and shells. Our plates were not changed during the entire 1.5 hours of our meal. Worst Hot Pot experience: No soup ladles. No tongs for raw food. Limited toppings at sauce station. We were told by our server that there are no ladles or tongs. He returns in a few minutes with TWO ladles and ONE tong for the SEVEN of us. Satisfactory food quality. Enough selection of items, including seafood and sashimi. Not worth the hype. Not worth the price. Not coming back.

I don't know what isn't to love here! Prepare for very long waits, but it's worth it! All you can eat hotpot with lots of options of seafood, meats, veggies, drinks, side dishes, etc! Plenty of ingredients to customize your own dipping sauce too. I love this place! They're all very friendly and helpful!

This is an ayce seafood hotpot and is perfect for seafood lovers! This ayce hotpot comes with so much seafood options. We were given a menu where we check off what we wanted which was more convenient for us. The highlights for me was the sashimi and oysters, they were so fresh and tasty! As for hotpot, me and my friend got the large soup base with the tomato and pork base. Both broths were flavorful and delicious. They had a variety of hotpot food but we had to get the live shrimps, crabs and the shrimp paste. The snowflake beef was good as well and was a less fatty version of the fatty beef which I loved. The interior of this place was really nice, dim and dark with private booths. Workers were friendly and nice and always checked up on us! Overall, I would come back and experience this again!

The 1st floor decor and interior renovation seemed nice, but they sent us to the basement as we had a party of 7. The basement looked like a working area and no interior decoration at all. There was a big round table in the room and small pots were placed by the edge for individual usage. The chairs were way to low and it was very uncomfortable. If I needed to get the raw food to place in my pot, I would have to stand up to get it. I was doing standing up (to grab food) and sitting down (to eat) for approximately 90 minutes throughout the meal. They had very limited food selections and drink options. Some typical hotpot foods (i.e. fish balls, beef ball, watercress, etc.) were not available there. The price came with free drinks, but the can sodas were placed by the sauce section (not even in fridge) and there were only a few choices of drinks available. The service was prompt and the servers quality were very different. One waiter was very friendly and attentive, but the other waitress seemed know nothing about the food. I asked the waitress what was one of the raw food on the plate, she said she did not know but she would find out. Then she never came back to me with an answer. The shrimps were very fresh and still jumping on the bowl. They were generous about food portion, but the seafood options were very limited given the price it charged. The overall experience was so so and I did not plan to come back again unless I hear improvement from other people. Parking was also an issue.

I really wanted to love this place because it's the greatest idea - AYCE hotpot and sashimi/raw oysters. However, this place was really not worth it. The hotpot was good, but that's not hard. The sashimi was actually really yummy and fresh, but the oysters weren't great. My biggest issue here though was the service. They put you in private rooms which is kinda nice, but the service was absolutely awful. 1/3 of the stuff we ordered never came even when we followed up multiple times. They basically never come back to check on you unless you like go out to get them and even then, they never would bring you stuff that you ask for. In addition, to use the sauce bar, they wheel the cart outside to your room and there's like no where to stand to get your sauces. Overall, we paid like $75 per person which is a lot and I would've expected much better service for.

There are a lot of competitors out there that cost an arm and a leg for Hot Pot. I honestly can't agree on the pricing but it is what it is because it's trending they can hike these prices up. As being said. If you're paying top dollar to toss into soup base water. I recommend this spot. Granted they don't take reservations unless it's a big party of 6 or more. If you're doing walk-ins you'll have to try to come early and parking isn't so friendly in this area unless you paying for it. $50 a head pretty much AYCE includes Sashimi. I have to say the Sashimi was very fresh! The selections of hot pot meats and veggies were not your typical cheap cuts. They have all sorts of selections to your liking. Heck they even have karaoke! If you're running a small group. I would recommend you to do private rooms and non shared. You don't know who you'll be mixed with. If you wanted a more intimate small group or date like atmosphere. The decor is like everyone else. Throwing in that old school but modern China feels. Services are quick. If needed they have a button to call them if you want something. Sauces are included. Unlike some OTHER places I've been. Self serve of course. Overall. It's an enjoyable experience! Definitely good for any numbers of groups. Would recommend!

Hot pot and sashimi???? Two of my favorite things! I heard about this place from a friend and knew I had to try it to so I made a reservation for my family last Saturday night. I was able to get a same day reservation for 6 which was nice. When we got there, there was a bit of a wait ~15 mins but not too long. I'm not sure if the entire restaurant is like this but we had our own small private booth with a sliding door which for our party perfectly. We ordered a handful of sashimi and a bunch of oysters to start. The oysters were decent but not amazing, not surprising given that it's AYCE. The sashimi was pretty good we got yellowtail, salmon and octopus, it seemed pretty fresh and served over a bed of ice. We were also gifted grilled oysters which were HUGE, as a complimentary item for their anniversary. Now the hot pot, the meat seemed pretty high quality to me. I loved the fatty beef and my family enjoyed the snowflake beef. We also got a bunch of seafood like crabs, clams and more, all of which were very fresh. Definitely recommend the shrimp too, they were super big and plump. They also had a wide assortment of veggies, noodles and fish cake - all that you would want for hot pot. The broth was the only area that I felt like fell a bit below my expectations. The tomato broth had a good tomato flavor but was a bit salty for my taste, I wished it was sweeter. The pork bone broth, herbal broth and mushroom broth kind of tasted similar to me. I wished there was a bit more to the broth. The sauce, you can make yourself, they have all The ingredients on a cart that is easily assessible. Overall the food was pretty good and high-quality. The service was pretty decent nothing special. At the end of the day this place only was four stars for me because it's at a much higher price point, although the food was higher quality, it is still quite expensive.

An AYCE restaurant that uniquely serves both sushi and hotpot buffet. I appreciated how the booths are set up so you have a very private dining experience, but immediately was a bit turned off by the service. We were a pretty large and hungry group, so naturally had a long list of items on our first order, but our waitress gave off very impatient vibes. After ordering, I asked another waitress where the restroom was, only to have her point in a very general direction without even looking up from her work iPad. The sashimi was fresh given that it was ayce and the quality of the hotpot food was average. I'm not sure if I'd say completely worth the price given that you have to pay an additional $5-6 for your broth. Why not just include that in the base price? The portion size was a bit inconsistent. For example, a mountain of tripe was given but only 6 fish tofu pieces, resulting in us constantly having to reorder. There were also multiple instances where they either missed items, duplicated items, or gave us items we didn't even order. I got the spicy Mala broth which was standard but quite oily - I am normally guilty of drinking some of the broth but steered clear of it this time as it completely congealed in my bowl after a couple minutes break during the meal. Probably will not return given that the experience was rather lackluster, considering Flushing is full of hotpot options that provide both good food and good service at a comparable or even better price point.

The price is higher than most other places but it includes sashimi and other premium seafood (take advantage of the awesome snow crab legs!) Service was outstanding for our party. When we got to 37 Xiang, they seemed really busy so we got seated in a big room downstairs. However, this room was only kbbq and we let them know that we stated we wanted hotpot so initially we got placed in the wrong room after notifying them. Once they put us in the new room, we were able to start ordering. First off the sauce bar is on a rolling cart outside of the room and what is unfortunate about this is that at times other rooms were using this in their room so if I wanted to refill or make a new combination of sauces, I would have to wait until they finished before I could use it which was a hassle. Secondly, the service was quite slow bringing out the food, especially the meats. We would order several quantities, however, they would only bring out one plate, which was not enough because it would be eaten by very quickly leading to have to reorder and wait for several minutes again just to get another one. They do have good quite the diversity and freshness in meats, seafoods, fried, hot foods etc. so I will give it to them on that. But based on my experience here with the service, I probably wouldn't come here again.

I've been wanting to come here since they opened and finally got the chance to at the end of April. Sushi and hotpot sounded like a strange combo, but I like both so why not! I liked the idea that every party would have their own little room too. My family decided to to early, around 6pm to avoid the crowds. We were seated immediately since they weren't busy yet. I did my Yelp check in to get a free beverage- they only have one option, I think it was a grapefruit drink. This was yummy! We started with some oysters, sashimi and ordered the hotpot items as well. Oysters were not bad and the sashimi same. The salmon, yellow tail and red clams were of usual quality. I was super excited for the scallop but it was a little fishy. We didn't end up ordering any more sashimi or oysters. I also don't understand the concept of charging for soup base at an AYCE restaurant? We had to pay an additional $5.50 per soup base, which increases the price per person to $55. (I saw they just increased their adult price by $3). The fatty beef was a miss the day we went. I think that's the most important thing when I go out to eat hotpot. Most were too fatty in one area making it unpleasant to eat. The seafood options were good though- the "live" shrimp (wasn't live when we got it), crab, small clams were all good. I also liked that big clam that they cut into pieces. The shrimp paste, which is usually a favorite, was weirdly salty? Overall, I mean the food was OK but for this price... I was expecting more. Especially service wise and the service was.... not good at all. For starters, they did not even give out enough ladles per person. We had 2 for our table of 4. Do they expect us to pass it back and forth? My mom told me when she went a few months earlier, they gave her party of 6 people 1 ladle? (LOL??) I asked them to give us 2 more but they said they didn't have any and had to wash them. (They never gave us 2 more). I also pressed the service button 3 times and no one ever came to help us after waiting over 5-10 minutes each time. We had to pop our heads out and wave over a person or quickly wave when we saw a waitress walk by. Not sure what the buttons are for if they do not work properly. I'd much rather go to the many other hotpot places in flushing, AYCE or not.

I found the "Best" place EVER for AYCE hot pot. This place also comes with AYCE sushi, and sashimi. Having Sashimi included into the deal is surely a wonderful deal because u can keep on ordering and it costs the same as AYCE hot pot. So, we kept ordering food until our tummies were satisfied I gotta add the fried Chinese buns were fresh and crispy. It comes with condensed milk. When these are paired together, damn... so damn good! Funny anecdote, all the seafood were fresh out of the water. The shrimps were alive and jumping in front of us before putting them into the hot pot. The fish balls and shrimp paste were also super fresh, make them at your own shape and size and place them inside the hot pot. Crabs, clams, and mussels were also super fresh Did I say that you can also sing karaoke while you enjoying your hot pot? This is so awesome, so entertaining, and so enjoyable to watch friends sing their hearts out while i discreetly eat all the goodies on the table. LMAO Overall, you will have lots of fun both tummy and heart. Five stars to this AYCE place

All you can eat seafood hotpot. We started off with some oysters and sashimi. It was very good to my surprise. Lots of seafood choices for the hotpot. Everything was fresh and the service was good. Our server changed our plates throughout the meal and also refilled the broth. I love the fact that every table was in each individual rooms. You also order directly on the iPad which was A+. I would definitely be back.

Came to check this place out after my bestfran saw it on Tiktok. We both love hotpot and sashimi, and it looked bomb in the video, so why not?? We wound up at the wrong hotpot restaurant at first, but thankfully found our way here. The entrance was a lil shabby...bulk supplies like paper towels and stuff on the floor next to the front desk, but maybe they've fixed it now. We were also a little surprised that there was no wait compared to the other place. Better for our hungry selves! Dining is very private; every party gets their own individual room. We were pleasantly surprised at this, but were also shocked when we were placed at a table with no one to explain the menu to us or how the ordering system worked. Finally we pressed the call button and someone came with no greeting, just ready to note down everything we wanted to order as we flipped through their ginormous menubook. Then, it was time to make our sauce, and it was the most bizarre sauce system ever. They had a sauce cart that they push down the hall upon request but it doesn't even completely fit at the doorway. We had to lean our bodies out to get access to some items, while people were walking back and forth in the hallway. Our food came, and it was mostly good, but nothing outstanding. The hotpot food was standard, and the sashimi was fine. The service also stayed unimpressive, so that kind of took away from the whole experience. Maybe I'm just too used to the amazing service offered at other hotpot spots. I would only recommend this restaurant for someone who doesn't care too much about service and vibes, but rather just wants some private AYCE hotpot with some sashimi on the side.

Having to come back from HK... my expectations are pretty FREAK'n high With inflation sky rocketing, meals are extortionate. However, fear not! 37 Xiang has reasonably priced all you can eat option for meats versus seafood! Personally, I'm not been one to order seafood for hotpot but now I am converted. Especially live lobster - our lobster was still MOVING Yea. I jumped Seafood & broth - ideal combo! The meats were thinly cut perfectly for dipping! Definitely will be coming back!

Truly a treat to visit! We made a reservation. We were surprised at the seating set up of this Hot Pot Restaurant. Typically most Hot Pot Restaurants we have been to are open area seating. At 37 Xiang, it is a private room for each party which quickly creates an atmosphere of privacy and intimacy. The sauce cart was conveniently placed outside our room as soon as we ordered. We started off with oysters and sashimi. Veggies, clams, beef and other seafoods was next. The host, waiters, waitresses were warm, fast and professional. The food was fresh and delicious! They brought out our items very fast! I would highly recommend this AYCE Hot Pot Restaurant and come back again! Great job to the 37 Xiang team!

I've worked at 3 shabu/hotpot restaurants- so I'm very aware of the work it takes to offer a good experience. My husband and I have come to this restaurant about 5 times in the past 3 years. There's been a year in 2022 where we were unhappy with our experiences, but we enjoyed the first few visits there, which is why we've returned obviously. We decided to give it another try this visit back to NY and we wanted to make it a point to write a review to say that our experience was top notch this time. They have a few less options as before (probably for sustainability & consistency reasons so we happy with that) but their service was better than ever and the food was more satisfactory than any of the other times we've been there. Ambiance was great as they gave us the perfect amount of attention where they didn't bother us but they were attentive also.

All You Can Eat for 2 Hours, including oysters in the half shell and sashimi of salmon, yellowtail, and, scallops - LIT! Known for their unique seafood to their hot pots, including live shrimp in skewers and shrimp paste - OH YES! Of course, us eight also ordered up rest of menu, including watercress, lamb, steak, and, pork belly - YUM! Absolutely wonderful service we received in our private room this Sunday evening. We alternated from cooking in hot pots and karaoke - FUN! Two cautions for future: 1) the smell lingers in clothes; 2) can get rained upon from broths' condensation - HA! CHEERS!

The food was good and the ambiance was cute with private rooms. Though there were some speaking barriers, the servers were really nice, kind, courteous, and accommodating. The salmon sashimi was surprisingly REALLY good...like Japanese restaurant quality, considering the specialty of this restaurant is hotpot.

I first learned about 37 Xiang because all of their tables are in their own private rooms/stalls and that really appealed to me during this panini, and was absolutely sold when I learned they include sashimi and oysters as part of their AYCE menu, so this was the first restaurant I dined indoors at in many months, and came back to celebrate my birthday with a larger group 2 months later. They have a handy automated system that handles reservations and the waitlist. Our first visit, our table-ready text came 40 minutes after the confirmation text, so we returned and were promptly seated in a little stall that could seat 4? up to 6?? We were actually checking how ventilated it was since we were being so cautious and were super impressed by the very low CO2 readings we go, so we ate quite comfortably, save for the bit of a draft from the window on what wound up being a chillier night. ONTO THE FOOD First, I have to say my expectations for the quality of the sashimi and oysters were low and they were exceeded! Very solid raw fish and I slurped down a lot of oysters. (Oysters do come with a little bit of cocktail sauce already dabbed on each one, as a heads up, and lemon wedge for you to squeeze.) We chose our broths, the condiments cart was wheeled to right outside our little stall, and our food came fairly quickly, too. I appreciated the several cold appetizer options that help offset the heaviness/richness that can come with eating hotpot, like kimchi, cucumber salad, blueberry with daikon (I rarely see this in the US), and seaweed salad. I really liked the variety of options we had with the hotpot. Fatty lamb and beef AND a "snowflake" beef (even more fat marbled in), plus nearly all of my favorite things, like fish roe balls, shrimp paste, different mushrooms, and several items I don't see as often here in the US (especially at AYCE places), like egg tofu, duck blood, pork kidney, and shirataki knots. The veggie menu looks small but is the leafy greens, as the other veg are with the other items. I also really appreciated that our server took our order and then came back to remind us we hadn't ordered any seafood for the hotpot yet. The seafood offerings here are often additional charges at other places, so make sure you take advantage of them to get the bang for the premium price here, like we did with some lovely crabs. They do have a premium seafood menu that has an extra charge and requires reservation. When we came back with a larger group, we ordered watermelon juice from their pretty extensive juice menu for the table as another refreshing treat to offset the good food. Our server also let us know that beverages were included (careful not to fill up on fizzy drink!) so my dad was even able to satisfy his soymilk craving. At the end, we also were able to grab some ice cream, which we ok-ed with the server don't you worry haha Each of the rooms/stalls also has a spot for you to put emptied plates as they are cleared so that you can make more room for new food, and the servers will clear them on their way out, which I think is a really nice and streamlined experience for the private dining format. With regards to service, we were checked on and could call a server with a button without having to wait more than a few moments, so no worries about being left neglected for a long time here. BONUS: Party rooms (8+) have karaoke?? I scoured the Yelp reviews to see how people liked it but didn't see any details. We were actually too busy eating and catching up after not seeing many friends for so long to even touch the karaoke setup. They have a beer/wine/soju/sake menu here so I can see this getting pretty lit Small nitpicks were that we had a small stove issue at one of the seats, but since there were extra stoves at the table this was resolved fairly quickly. Also, don't be heartbroken when the condiments cart gets rolled to another stall that arrives after you but be aware of it in case you wonder where it went while trying to get topped up! All in all, I'm already looking forward to going back, as the higher price is worth it to me for the private dining experience and the added variety of options like sashimi and oysters.

This is my first AYCE hot pot buffet with sushi and I have to say that it's a game changer! As a party of 7, we had a private room with karaoke in the basement. The service was incredible and the sushi was extremely fresh. I enjoyed the raw oysters, sashimi, and fresh fruit juices. For the hotpot, although we were charged per soup base, we were able to customize the spiciness, which was appreciated. The snowflake beef is the best protein option. Our reservation was around 8pm on a Saturday and we stayed until closing at 11pm. I will definitely be returning in the future.

This hot pot place in Flushing is not only AYCE, but each dining party also gets a PRIVATE ROOM! It was definitely my first time ever dining in a private room for hot pot, so the experience felt so much more elevated and unique. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the front desk who then led us to our appropriate dining room. For ordering, we placed orders on an IPad. We got to pick two flavors for the pot so opted for the tomato and the herbal broth. The tomato broth was really good - super strong tomato flavors, loved that. The dipping sauce station is right outside our door and it's DIY, the labels were all in Chinese so would also recommend adding English so it's more accessible. We ordered a bunch of different dishes to try. I really liked the shrimp paste, they came in a heart shape, it was so cute! I also ordered some stuffed tofu which came imprinted with the Chinese letter for "good luck" on the surface, really appreciated that element of detail. We really enjoyed our experience here from the meat to the seafood, and the vegetables. The one suggestion from the vegetables would be to add lotus, it's one of our favorite foods for hotpot. I came across 37 Xiang on my feed and decided to try it out with a friend on a weekend at 12pm because they had separate seating areas that were enclosed. This was great because every party had privacy and it allowed us to eat in without being as concerned with potential exposures to COVID. When reading reviews there were a few comments regarding how the menu was not specific regarding the items that cost extra, however, our waitress was patient and thorough in explaining the menu and the instructions as we ordered because it was our first time here. She explained everything to me in Mandarin and had no problem repeating it again in English (as best could) for my friend. She came in to check on us and to ask whether we wanted to order more food multiple times, and if not, there was a call bell at the table. They service AYCE hotpot and sashimi for $49 per person, 2 hours stay. I originally wanted to just eat the sashimi because you had to pay an additional $5.5 for a small hotpot soup base, but I'm glad my friend talked me out of it, and we shared one pot because it was so cold that day. The food took around 15min to start arriving, and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes, along with how they adjust it for you throughout the stay so you don't waste food. I do believe the sashimi/seafood was a hit or miss in terms of quality and taste. I was not a fan of the octopus, red snapper, white tuna. The salmon was okay. However, if I were to come here again, I would definitely order the raw oysters, scallops, and yellowtail. As for the hotpot, I was satisfied with everything we ordered. I would recommend the shrimp paste and to try more meats. Overall, I think it is worth the price if you can eat a lot and come with a bigger party so you can try more dishes.

Dear friends of mine, please stop suggesting places highlighted on TikTok! I obliged to a visit but was hesitant after seeing the low number of reviews and low overall star rating here on Yelp. The sashimi was low quality and waterlogged from defrosting, the uni was also of poor quality and handled roughly, and the oysters were near room temp with little nectar and not served on ice. The best items were the sliced meats, enoki mushroom, and spinach. Service was whatever. I'd hit the call button and people would look at our booth in passing but never come in if we looked like we were in conversation. What's the point of the button then? The sauce cart was dirty with plastic spoons touched by other patrons and missing hoisin sauce. Do yourself a favor and go to Haidilao instead.

This was a nice treat we got to experience. We had a reservation and were promptly led to our private room. The interior was dark and interesting. We ordered tons of the sashimi and we loved the white tuna, very smooth and rich. The sauce cart was conveniently placed outside as soon as we ordered. We started off with oysters and sashimi while we waited for our hotpot broth to arrive. The sashimi was very fresh and the oysters came with a dollop of slightly spicy red sauce. We then irdered soy milk and fresh pomello and honey juice. You could tell it was fresh because it had pulp that seemed like it was squeezed through. We ordered plenty of meats and seafood for our soup. I think the price is valid for the amount of AYCE seafood available. The appetizer/ side dishes were so good too. Blueberry radish and cucumbers were so refreshing and fit perfectly with our fatty meats. In the end, we were treated to a cup of ice cream each. I would highly recommend coming here and plan to in the future as well.

Food is good. Great fresh seafood. Wish they would clean up a bit. The place is pretty dirty. The sauce station really need to be clean. Everything is is sticky and floor is slippery. Just please keep it clean.

Loved it so much I went two days in a row. Service was great and the all you can eat (mostly, except for specialty items) was excellent. We were offered all you can eat live mantis on the first day and it was delicious. As in all these hot pot venues, how good your food is highly dependent on your sauce and cooking as you are your own chef. I think i did great so I'm giving myself 5 stars..

In the age of COVID, having private booths feel especially reassuring to me as a patron so that aspect was a major draw to me. I came here last Friday around dinnertime rush and was luckily able to score the last available booth without a reservation. It's roomy, nicely lit, and stocked with plates/napkins/etc so you don't need to wait for waiters to bring you the essentials. In fact, they even push the sauce cart to your door so you never have to leave your booth. The menu is also fantastic-- AYCE sashimi, oysters in addition to hot pot? And appetizers too? Sign me up! There was a wide variety of offerings (I've included pics of the menu) but my favorites included the shrimp paste (so bouncy and succulent!) and the fish roe balls (fish balls with a roe filling in the center). They market themselves as a seafood AYCE hot pot restaurant, which was an accurate statement. Expect fresh clams, mussels, crabs, shrimp, and more all included in the buffet price. In addition, we ordered the uni ($15 for 2pcs) and the geoduck ($30/lb), the former of which was not that great. The price is $45.50pp but they do apparently charge for soup base. Between three people, the soup charge was $18.50 (we chose the mushroom and the herbal soup). I'm not sure why they don't just increase the total price, but for the quality of food and service I think it's worth a visit.
