Craft beer, pizza & offbeat horror theme with creative pies

"The city’s pizza scene includes out-of-the-box pies at the 4th Horseman, cited as an example of adventurous, nontraditional pizza offerings." - Brian Addison

"This horror-themed restaurant slings out thin-crust pies just as funky as its decor. Standouts include the Alchemy, loaded with gochujang tomato sauce, vegan sausage, and pickled carrots, or the El Puerto Loco, which is topped with spicy carnitas and an avocado-tomatillo salsa. Note that diners must be 21 to eat inside."
"A pizza, wine, and craft beer bar downtown, 4th Horseman is a very fun place to spend a night in Long Beach, especially if you're with a group. It’s a horror-themed spot, with old-school movies like Night Of The Living Dead and The Creature From The Black Lagoon playing on repeat, movie posters and memorabilia lining the walls, and pizzas named after horror icons. The pies themselves are very solid, big enough to share, and are made even more special by their creative topping combos. Our favorites are the Jalapeño Popper, with cream cheese, jalapeños, garlic, and bacon, and the vegan Alchemy, made with gochujang tomato sauce, vegan sausage, pickled carrots, and cilantro. Get an order of the gooey, cheesy garlic knots while you're there, too." - Brett Keating

"Taking to Instagram earlier this morning, the restaurant announced that it had allegedly been the subject of an art heist connected to its next-door club, reporting that two customers who were not on the club’s invite-only list lifted a “sentimental” ceramic sculpture of a naked body on October 1st." - Emma Orlow

"A newly opened Long Beach restaurant that has already attracted local coverage and early acclaim, earning a spot on a year-end list of the city's best new restaurants despite being only weeks into operation." - Farley Elliott
