14 Restaurants for Crispy, Cheesy Pizza in Long Beach | Eater LA

"This horror-themed restaurant slings out thin-crust pies just as funky as its decor. Standouts include the Alchemy, loaded with gochujang tomato sauce, vegan sausage, and pickled carrots, or the El Puerto Loco, which is topped with spicy carnitas and an avocado-tomatillo salsa. Note that diners must be 21 to eat inside."

The 4th Horseman - Review - Long Beach - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"A pizza, wine, and craft beer bar downtown, 4th Horseman is a very fun place to spend a night in Long Beach, especially if you're with a group. It’s a horror-themed spot, with old-school movies like Night Of The Living Dead and The Creature From The Black Lagoon playing on repeat, movie posters and memorabilia lining the walls, and pizzas named after horror icons. The pies themselves are very solid, big enough to share, and are made even more special by their creative topping combos. Our favorites are the Jalapeño Popper, with cream cheese, jalapeños, garlic, and bacon, and the vegan Alchemy, made with gochujang tomato sauce, vegan sausage, pickled carrots, and cilantro. Get an order of the gooey, cheesy garlic knots while you're there, too." - Brett Keating

My husband and I drove here all the way from Riverside to check out this pizza joint. We had a date night and throughly enjoyed our experience. The highlights of the restaurant: 1. Kid free- yes please! 2. The garlic knots were to die for! 3. The horror and metal decor were awesome. 4. Mini arcade with classic games. The staff are super chill too. If we’re ever in Long Beach again, we know where to go for a dope atmosphere and delicious food!

Google
The door says “Pizza Beer Horror Metal” so don’t say you weren’t warned. Bride of Chucky was playing when I sat down. The kitchen was closed when I arrived around 10pm but pizza was still available by the slice. The pizza was generally average. The crust was thin but a bit tough. Each slice was quite large though, so that was cool.

My coworkers and I came to celebrate my birthday! Pizza was amazing! Beer was cold! Music was 🔥! Highly recommend for a night out for good pizza, drinks, and music!

Google
An amazing place. Great stickers and slogans everywhere. Very cool arcade games including House of the Dead. Marvel vs Capcom tournaments. Great selection of beer including a Belgian Quad. The pizza was bomb. Takes a bit of time to make, but comes out super fresh and delicious.

Google
This place was really good. The decor was horror and Metal.🤘🏽 They had very delicious pizza for vegans or vegetarian like me and they have meats pizza for the carnivores out there . The cashiers and servers were kind while serving the food and handling the orders. I feel bad for one guy he had to kick out two homeless for our protection . He handled very well I definitely felt safe with the staff! In my opinion they deserve more than5 stars ! Really thank you for a satisfying night ! It was my husbands and my cousins first time and they were pleased to say the least 🖤👏🏽🤘🏽

Google
Garlic knots we're great very garlicky, had the white zombie pizza it was excellent!! Only complaint they only have beer and wine, wish they had a full bar menu. Great service bartender was awesome. The decor and music was very dystopian themed after the 4th horseman - Death. Sorry, didn't realize I only hit 4 stars this is a definite 5 star loved the pizza!!!

Google
They seemed nice and accommodating for our vegan order, but when we received it, they had thrown non vegan parmesan packets inside of the box. They accepted the return of the packets, but weren’t apologetic at all about it, so I doubt they are careful about it. Pizza is decent. Atmosphere was like an edgy horror metal dive bar. Decent only when you don’t have any other vegan options, but there’s also a rakkan ramen nearby that has vegan options that serves food later than 10. Won’t be returning unless food emergency.

Google
I was pretty stoked to check this place out. I'm not vegan, but I am lactose intolerant so I really enjoyed being able to have dairy free options with so many different toppings. We got the spicy soyrizo vegan pizza and boy did it have a kick. It was so tasty though, especially washing it down with a cold beer on draft. The service was friendly and the pizza came out pretty quickly. It was loud in there with metal music playing, but you can still hear conversations which was nice. It was so fun to just take in the environment and look at the decorations on the walls cause some looked like art made by others. There's an arcade in the back which we didn't use but looked like it had several machines to play on. They also had Texas Chainsaw Massacre playing on the tvs which was cool to watch as we hung out eating our pizza. Definitely recommend for all folks including non vegans since they have dairy and meat options as well!

Yelp
If you're into horror and amazing pizza, The 4th Horseman is the place to be! The vibe is super cool, with all the horror movie posters and creepy decor--it's like stepping into a spooky movie set. It's the kind of place where you keep noticing new details every time you look around. The pizza here is out of this world. I tried the Memento Mori Bulgogi Pizza, and the combination of bulgogi beef, kimchi, and pineapple was insane--it sounds wild, but it works perfectly. Their Death to Piggy pizza was another standout--so rich and flavorful. The crust is just right: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They also have a great selection of craft beers that pair perfectly with the food. The only downside is it can get a little busy, so service might take a bit longer, but honestly, the food and atmosphere make it worth the wait. If you're a horror fan or just love unique pizza, you have to check this place out!

Yelp
The pizza is very good. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. The crust is thin and amazing. Lots of beers on tap. The gal behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. It's a funky and fun place. Parking can be tough. It's pd street parking.

Yelp
I am so thankful to finally come and try this place. I love that this place is full of horror, metal, and inclusivity is available for people who both want to splurge and want to save. Everyone is very friendly in the whole place, and you can buy a whole pizza or a pizza by the slice. They have such a good tap and well here, and it's decorated so beautifully. I absolutely love the music and the vibe completely. I want to live here. There are so many great pizzas that I would love to try with Brent, but I came here on my own on the way to my duty and it was the one thing I wanted to do before I deployed. It really makes me happy that like this exist.

Yelp
Parking is great we did not have a problem with finish g parking on the street. Service was awesome we went to the register and order a slice of pepperoni and a glass of cold beer and let me tell you , you cannot go wrong with this combo it's perfection

Yelp
Another successful experience! My bf and I got the buffalo bill pizza & each a winter solstice seasonal ale on tap today. First time I noticed the creepy doll on the tv by the entrance. Fun!

Yelp
This is the perfect place for any metal head, horror lover , or anyone who likes something a little different. I absolutely loved the ambiance of the location it was right up my alley . This spot had been on my bookmarks for a while and I finally got to try it out. It did not disappoint, I went simple and ordered the slasher pizza & I added buffalo drizzle on top which made the pizza that much tastier. I would definitely come back I enjoyed it and we got there at a good time that it wasn't too packed but I can imagine later at night it gets busier. ( Street Parking )

Yelp
I have fond memories visiting the 4th horseman when I was in California in 2023. The goth atmosphere had such a fun vibe. The service was fast and courteous and the pizza was delicious.

Yelp
This place is amazing! If you're a horror nerd or into oddities, this place is for you! Honestly the vibes were all there for me, the walls are covered in posters and trinkets. Their playlist was the tits, honestly the pop punk/emo list of my dreams- Four Year Strong, The Story So Far, Hot Mulligan, Knuckle Puck, and so many more great bands! They have screens that are constantly playing various horror movies, we watched some of Chucky and Leprechaun while we were here. We went around 1pm on Sunday and it wasn't packed at all, there's no parking specifically for this establishment but there's plenty of parking garages around and it's free for the first 2 hours. There's a self serve water station when you first walk in as they're primarily known for their beers and other various drinks. You order by scanning a QR code and they'll bring it to the table, although I believe you can go up and order as well. There's also an art gallery and oddities shop in the back near the bathrooms if you're interested, though he didn't partake as we didn't have time. I will say, it's rather expensive. For two pizzas (one cauliflower) and garlic knots (a must) plus a tip it was $85. The cauliflower crust was a tad bit overcooked and I'm a crust girlie so that was a bummer but besides that the flavors were there. I'm not sure how often they switch it out, but they also have a specialty pizza that you can only get for a limited time. We wanted it when we were there but unfortunately they had ran out of the ingredients to make it and it had sounded phenomenal. Overall, this place is a really cool spot to hang out and chill with your friends. I can't wait to take more people here.

Yelp
We came in on a Tuesday night. Closing time is 10 p.m., we got there at 9 p.m., and the kitchen was closed. All they had were slices (pepperoni and cheese only). I'm not mad at you if you want to close the kitchen and get a jump start on cleaning, BUT PUT IT ON THE WEBSITE! Put it on your Google page. Put it on your online menu. Put it in some place that we can find it before we drive 25 minutes down there, find parking, in order to get there 1 hour before closing to have time to eat and find out that we can't order your food. And for the record, 1 hour prior to posted closing time is excessive. 15 minutes before close, 30 minutes before close, maybe. But that's ridiculous. Just close at 9. IRT THE COMMENT BELOW MY REVIEW: That makes a lot of sense. I am onboard with it, just make the customer aware of it. "No whole pizza orders 1 hour prior to close" got it. Put it on the website, on the menu, on the Yelp page, etc. I would've adjusted my arrival time so that I could have ordered your delicious pizza flavos before the cut off; however, you do not list that as your practice anywhere.

Yelp
Finding a new pizza place is always fun. This spot has a great horror movie theme. The place is decorated with floor to ceiling horror props and signs. I like their craft beer selection and varieties of pizza toppings. This is a great spot with friends and it's reasonably priced. I would love to go back to try another type of pizza. I went for the pie that had ricotta, because I'm a sucker for ricotta on pizza.

Yelp
To start as a disclaimer: I only had a alreadycooked slice of the cheese and they have some very cool pizzas. But I like to see how a restaurants cheese is, and it was pretty average. That being said the rest of the place is very cool. Sound is low enough to hear people talk and arcade machines are always appreciated. Definately a place to come chill. Service was average. I'll order a full pie and update this review when I do. For now. If you're feeling this scene definately recommend. Great for hanging out. pizza won't let you down but nothing to write home about either. (was cooked really well, just nothing special about it with average sauce)

Yelp
I am in love with this pizza!!! The ambience is cool and horror themed. The wait time is sooooooo long but once I took a bite of that pizza it was so worth it.

Yelp
Food: The pizza was great here. We got the Large pepperoni which IMO serves about 2-3 people since the slices are pretty wide. A little greasy but it's still good regardless. I recommend the canned IPA from the fridge, Mosaic Mamba as a great IPA to enjoy all night. Service: Staff there are very nice, friendly and attentive. Just go up and order your beer or grab a can from the fridge and pay up front. Our pizza came out in like 25 mins on a crowded Saturday night which wasn't too bad. Ambiance: This spot is really cool. They have inside and outside dining areas, a small bar to sit at, a gaming area with retro arcade games & a pool table, 2 bathrooms, a couple of TV's playing old school horror movies and lots of cool stuff all around while playing heavy metal music. Definitely one of my favorite spots to go to in LBC now. Tips: DO NOT park in the parking lot next door as they will tow you. There are 2 parking buildings a block over on 4th and Pine, park there for a few hours ($12-18, give or take). This place is 21+ and over, no kids. No pets, only service animals. Expect a small wait time outside as does get packed. Other than that, enjoy!

Yelp
4th horsemen is super cool & super chill spot if you like good beer, pizza, horror & atmosphere. I've been here more than 10x and the one thing I can say that isn't 10/10 is their service. The employees are very short and can come off rude. This wasn't just a one time experience, it's every single time. Not sure what they got going on , but if they were more approachable & didn't come off like you were bothering them for something- the experience would be 10/10.

Yelp
Highly recommend The 4th Horseman! Welcoming - I'm probably not their regular customer profile, but nobody cared and I had a great time! Excellent food - appetizer Brussels sprouts and pizzas were amazing! The Green Inferno and Angel of Death were my go-to pizzas - both crazy good! Outstanding beer selection, both draft and cans. Loved the vibe of the place, very creative and different. 4.5 stars, gotta return soon!

Yelp
Ambiance 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 4/5 Cleanliness 4/5 This place is pretty cool. There's a lot of neat stuff to look at and they definitely put a lot of thought into their decor. If you like horror theme things or metal music I definitely recommend the spot. They had a DJ when we went and they were playing a lot of metal. There's one pool table and an arcade in the back. Parking is hard to find but they do have street parking and or structured parking that you have to pay for. We stayed for about three hours and the cost was only 2 to 5 dollars. So I wasn't too bad. I gave cleanliness a four out of five because when they cleared our table, they did not wipe it down. Finding a spot is extremely difficult on a Saturday evening. The food is pretty good. We got the pale horse and a spicy pizza that I can't remember. It's more of a thin crust, and the toppings were delicious. I would come back for takeout, but I don't think I would sit in again. the nonalcoholic drinks were pretty expensive and they have a very limited selection. It was four dollars for a small can of Diet Coke.

Yelp
My kids brought me here the other day, they came here once and couldn't stop talking about how good this place was. First of all, they offer gf pizza AND dairy free, that right there is pretty awesome, still surprising to me how many places don't offer alternatives. But the pizzas are really good, not expensive and big enough to share with about 3 people comfortably. They have cool music and decor with those who like metal, think they play movies in the background, I didn't pay too much attention but I noticed some old 80's horror movie playing while we ate. Cool pool table and a few arcade games, makes for a fun night! I'd definitely be back.
google avatar

Alejandra G.

Yelp
Pizza is absolutely amazing here. I've had a lot of pizza but this one is always so delicious! Tried one of their signature pizzas and was pretty impressed. Flavors and texture are both there! Also the inside is so dope! I believe they remodeled/expanded? But I love coming here! The staff is also always very helpful! And beer selection is also great.
google avatar

Hal B.

Yelp
The best pizza around. You think you know pizza?! You don't know squat, buddy! Get a beer, get a pie, and take some sweet metal straight to the dome, you jabronie!!!! But seriously, better than all the Italian joints in Pedro. Yeah, I said it!
google avatar

Casandra M.

Yelp
Finally got to try this place. Loved the atmosphere and decor, my partner did too. Had amazing art work, played movies on 3 different screens and had good music. Not too loud but loud enough to enjoy and be in your own world. The girl at the counter was nice and explained how we could order with her or off our phone and she'd bring our order out to us. So we found a spot and ordered. Ordered The Red Horse(bacon and pineapple) but add some pepperoni also. Pizza was a great size. Everything was hot and fresh, and the individual ingredients had great flavor, but together it was kind of lacking. Felt like the sauce needed a bit more flavor to it, some salt or garlic or something. I got a side of the House made Ranch, taste too much like sour cream, needed more salt and lemon juice and flavor overall. Definitely going to give this place another shot in the future if we're ever in the area, but wouldn't go out of the way to drive down there like we did today.
google avatar

Nancy V.

Yelp
I don't come here often enough! They have a pretty interesting selection on the Menu to chose from and I plan on working my way down the Menu because the 3 times I have visited the pizzas have been so so good. Aside from your basic pepperoni with jalapenos I've had the Hellfire that is listed XXX Hot and I personally did not find it to be that hot but was a 5/5 and The Pale Horse. They have a nice selection of beer on tap and bottler also Wine.
google avatar

Daniel H.

Yelp
Pizza, Beer & Heavy Metal, what's not to love? Blacked out windows and heavy metal blaring. A stage for live music. The tables are all named after metal bands. You can order at the counter or on your phone since every table has a different QR code. Dark without being depressing and grungy without being dirty.
google avatar

Danielle Y.

Yelp
Scary movies, pizza, games, and beer all in one place! The pizza is prob the best I've had. They sell by the slice or box but I believe it takes maybe 30 mins to make the pizza if you wanted a whole pizza to yourself. The beer selection is nice with some cans you can buy to take home. They just expanded this place so now there's some fun games in the back and a pool table. They have a few TVs that play scary movies the whole time and the music played here . I believe they have some more food options I don't recall. It's across the street from planet fitness. There is 2 parking structures less than 5 mins away from here so that's nice. The art and decor here is perfect for anyone who loves halloween.
google avatar

Zoe C.

Yelp
First time coming to this place, we loved it the pizzas are thin and super good. Everyone who works there were super nice and helpful. We loved the music, something totally different than most pizza places
google avatar

Denise G.

Yelp
We returned here today, and the cashier seemed annoyed, maybe he was just busy? Anyway, this place has been extended and there is much more room inside now. So, as we are eating, we are getting a bit irritated with LOUD Death Rock being played overhead. It was too much noise! Switch up the playlist. Next, what used to be pretty cool decor in the restrooms, is now covered with graffiti all over the walls and the mirrors. These restrooms look like they belong in a dive bar. Gross. Sad to say, I won't be returning. This place WAS cool, but now it's a dive.
google avatar

Ingrid L.

Yelp
This place is fun! Not my typical aesthetic. But I could totally see how much of a vibe it is if it is your thing!!! My sister and I popped by for a quick slice. Our cashier was sweet and asked if we wanted to wait for the fresh batch that was coming out soon and we took her up on the offer. The slides are very generous. Like a quarter of a medium sized pizza. We both had pepperoni and it hit the spot. I want to come back to try their other pizzas!
google avatar

Ciera T.

Yelp
Niche ambiance with old school scary movies, recent expansion to add to their arcade area, great selection of beer and heavy metal music. Pizzas come out so fast, huge portion, and always TASTY. Staff is friendly and we love trying all the new flavors of the pizza of the month
google avatar

Nancy H.

Yelp
My friend and I came at around 12:30 PM on a Saturday. We wanted to go here because we heard good things on a few apps about the pizza. The restaurant was quite empty but it was spacious and the gothic/horror vibes were interesting. They play punk/metal here and the entire place is decked out in pentagrams, dolls, and other Halloween-esque stuff. You can order up front or via QR code at any of the tables. There's a self-serve water station which was much appreciated. We ordered the El Puerco Loco and it took about 20-30 minutes to come out. The pizza was on the saltier side and there was a lot of crust, however I thought the $24 price point was worth it for a 16 inch pizza.
google avatar

Arturo P.

Yelp
My best friend and I went here for lunch as we were around the downtown Long Beach area and we had heard great things about this place, and they did not disappoint! The gothic theme doesn't really fit my vibe, but I still enjoyed it regardless and I was more amazed at how dedicated it is to that specific theme! The names for the different pizzas were very creative too! The guy at the front was very nice and gladly answered any questions we had. We ordered the El Puerco Loco, which was a little spicy for my taste, but still tasted delicious (those with low spicy tolerance beware), even if we had to wait a little longer than we expected. We absolutely loved the crunchiness of the crust.
google avatar

Randy R.

Yelp
I give this restaurant an overall score of 3.7 stars. Rounded up. This is a hole in the wall gothic drive bar, so unique!!! Video attached. Pizza was good half "Death too Piggy), half tator tot, ambiance was amazing, and service was very good. BTW bathrooms are universal and clean. Came here on a Tuesday night, but I'm pretty sure this place gets packed on the weekends. I actually want to go back and try the different beers and pizza.
google avatar

Adam S.

Yelp
We don't make it to Long Beach but every couple of years but always make sure to stop in when we're here. I LOVE that this place exists. We were last here about two years ago and it was under renovation but this time in it was great to see they've used the space well and a vision that came to fruition. I am so glad they have a large variety of pizzas and other food options; I'm blown away at the number of vegan options. I am not vegan but we decided to get one anyway. We went with the vampire slayer which was great but super bummed they didn't create the pentagram on top. We had just come from a haunted tour of the Queen Mary and it would have been a nice touch. We also ordered the Supreme, which made for a nice breakfast. We're from out of state so I thought the pizza prices were a tad elevated but the beer selection made up for it. Looking to be back the next time we're in town!
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
This place is a wonderful place to go if you would like to try unique and flavorful pizzas like the philly cheesesteak and chupacabra (a specialty pizza only served in July). I tried a vegan pizza and it was so so good. They have gluten free options which is always a plus. The atmosphere of this place is so fun and metal/horror themed. They also host a Dungeons and Dragons meetup once a month which is friendly to beginners like me.
google avatar

Divya M.

Yelp
This place had been on my list to try for a very long time and i finally did! Came in on a Friday night around 7 and it was PACKED! It's self seating so you kind of have to just watch for people who are almost done with their meal. We ordered at the counter (you can also order off a QR code) and the wait was about 40 min for pizza. It's long but they were honest about it and it did actually take about that long to get our food. So if you don't find a table right away you have some time. We got the white horse and vampire slayer (half and half). I meant to order the white zombie but both were really good. The white horse was nice and crisp and the vampire slayer had a good kick to it. They were out of all the apps so unfortunately we didn't get to try any but i had my eye on the tots and garlic knots so will try next time. I'd try to come on a weeknight if possible so it's less crowded I'd think. Overall enjoyed our pizza and would definitely come back to try more off their vegan/vegetarian menu.

Elva A.

Yelp
The food is fire, especially to the chefs that made the pizza The service is amazing and nice really cool. The vibe in here is rock and roll
google avatar

Mariah M.

Yelp
Pizza and beer were both great! The pizza itself had an amazing flavor but beware the Hellfire pizza is SPICY. I felt like I was on an episode of Hot Ones but with pizza. They also have a mini arcade which was fun. Definitely will be coming back!
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Pizza was good, divey atmosphere, quick service. We had pep and cheese pizza slices. Delicious thin crust!
google avatar

Kristina F.

Yelp
*cue rapid double bass drumming and a punctuated scream at loudest volume possible, but serve it with a pizza* Death metal and pizza are perfect together, and the 4th Horseman honors their marriage with unique and delicious offerings and a mini arcade. The ambiance might feel offbeat to some, but for any metalhead, punk, horror fan (or amalgamation of all of these things) you're going to feel right at home. This place was PACKED on Saturday night (which doubled as a downtown Halloween party night, so it was also a sh!tshow night). My husband and I ordered El Puerco Loco and the beer cheese tots and managed to eat half of the pie between the two of us. Tots: Fresh, delicious, and covered in a blanket of delicious beer-hevy cheese sauce. They forgot the jalapenos but the tots came out fast, the venue was loud, and we were starving. El Puerco Loco: k, it was AMAZING, rich and spicy with a slightly angry tang from the pickled onions. More heat than I anticipated, but not enough to warrant regrets. We will be back.

Lorena S.

Yelp
We stopped by and picked up a pizza to go. Their pizza is delicious. Crust was perfect and it was sooo cheesy. The place is dark inside which is weird at first but our eyes adjusted and it actually was very relaxing. Service was good. Very helpful and pleasant.
google avatar

Juan H.

Yelp
The reviews were negative but trust me when I say THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!!! The staff is just doing their job, they're not there for chatter, ugh can't get over how delicious it was We got: Baked potato pizza: 10/10 Carnitas pizza with pickled onion 20/10 Brussels sprouts in sauce: 10/10 Garlic knots 10/10
google avatar

Teri S.

Yelp
As a local I would walk there just for the pizza. The pizza was yummy. The tomatoes sauce and cheese balanced well with the pizza dough. Not greasy.
google avatar

Craig A G.

Yelp
Firstly, awesome, delicious pizza, which is enough for me. Though, if you also like a cool bar like feel to your pizza eating experience with great death metal playing in the background, well, that makes it even better!
google avatar

Derek B.

Yelp
First time being here but with that being said the food was good for a Saturday night bar rush. Was surprised the pizza came out as well as it did. The pizza came very fast especially ordering through the QR code. The place was also very cool and Halloween/rock n roll themed and the arcade games took me back to when I was a kid. Would recommend to anyone 100% will be coming back

Frank M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and decor to match the amazing pizza! Take time to look around and enjoy the ambiance.
google avatar

Lance S.

Yelp
The food here is good, cool vibes, and the staff are kind. But I have to mention they can be very stingy with prices. I asked for extra jalapeños and they literally charged me $2 for a tiny little cup of sliced jalapeños. That was very frustrating to see on the receipt. Otherwise it's a cool place.
google avatar

Cat M.

Yelp
This place is awesome! We stopped in for lunch and had some of the best pizza we've had on the west coast. They have a ton of delicious vegan options and a killer beer selection. You can order at the counter or from a QR code at your table. 4th Horseman is truly a unique spot we could see it easily being one of our regular hangouts if we lived in Long Beach.

Yelp
I'm not a fan of most metal music, so I haven't eaten in for ages, but I order takeout or delivery often enough. The past three times that I ordered takeout/delivery, the pizza was burned on the bottom. This totally ruins the experience and why don't they check for quality before they put it in the box? Honestly, that should be standard practice. I emailed once to request a refund because they weren't picking up the phone and I never received a response but I did receive a refund. The refund isn't exactly the point - the point is it's a pain in the ass to get a burned pizza and then not be able to eat the pizza you ordered but you don't want to go back to exchange it. When the pizza isn't burned, it's delicious. I highly recommend you check your pizza to see if it's burned before accepting the order. I guess I'll reach out and ask for another refund. Whomp whomp. Special mention for the box fee they've added on to takeout and delivery orders. Really gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling, being nickled and dimed like that.

Yelp
Great vibes, and great pizza! When you walk into 4th Horseman, you definitely get a vibe. It's dark and gothic, with fun, satanic motifs in decor. We ordered the Hellfire Pizza (which comes with a warning of NO REFUNDS!) and the El Puerco Loco. The El Puerco Loco ($24) is basically a carnitas taco on a pizza. It was good, but it paled in comparison to the Hellfire. The Hellfire ($24) is an extremely spicy pizza with whole slices of habaneros and jalapenos. It has bacon and dollops of ricotta to cut the spice, which were perfect. We got the garlic parmesan crust on this too, which was wonderfully garlicky and cheesy without being greasy or buttery. We also got their take on a Baja Blast slushy (I can't remember if it was alcoholic or not... oops!). I do remember it being very good though! They also have an art gallery that's open in the daytime, which I didn't get to check out. Service was wonderful and attentive. I super recommend ordering the pizza here and sticking around for a beer or two for the vibes.

Yelp
Good beer, ok pizza, friendly service. I'd go back if I happened to to be in Long Beach. But I wouldn't make a special trip to Long Beach just to go here.

Yelp
My mom and I went here for her birthday and had such a great time. The ambiance is amazing; dark, great spooky decor, and I loved the horror movies and music in the background. The best part obviously was the pizza - SO DELICIOUS! I'm a big pizza critic and I would recommend this place to my east coast pizza lovers. The staff was nice and super on top of it. Definitely will be coming back.
