The Ainsworth Fidi

I previously tried the Ainsworth in midtown and wrote a not-so-awesome review. My friend persuaded me one night to come here to watch the game and grab a bite, so I gave it a chance. Compared to the other location, this one is great. I can't believe that they are related. The food here was solid American fare. The portions are not small, and well cooked. We ordered some wings and a flatbread as an app, tacos and burger as the mains. The flatbread was nicely cooked, crispy bottom, and abundant in toppings. Wings were a smaller portion than I would have liked. For the main courses, they were well portioned. the taco shells were supposed to be soft but they were crispy because they were over-fried. Otherwise, well made tacos. Burger & Fries were also well cooked. Only note: We sat at the bar and the bartender was drinking wine and vaping on the job. NOT awesome service in that respect.

The food was delicious and the service was great! I can't say I didn't feel like I gained 5lbs after eating the Mac & Cheeseburger but the flavor was so rich and delicious and worth each and every calorie. Nice presentation on the meal, too!

I went for brunch and got the steak and eggs. It came with greens and potatoes. The steak is not worth the price. I got 5 pieces of really small steak. My friend got pancakes and he enjoyed it.

Had a late lunch here and we were NOT disappointed! The food is excellent and the staff is courteous and prompt. New favorite eating spot!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! What a disgrace! My friends and I purchased Pulsd vouchers ($39 for 2 person brunch). I called them in advance on 07/31/19 to book a table, I also let them know we had Pulsd vouchers and I left my phone number. We went to this place on 08/04/19 for brunch and to use our vouchers. A blonde girl with glasses came up to us to tell us that they no longer affiliate with Pulsd and refused to honor the voucher. YOU HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER, YOU COULD HAVE CALLED ME IN ADVANCE so that we didn’t have to drive all the way to New York City for this disappointment. The right you should have done is: a manager come to us and tell us that they no longer affiliated with Pulsd and try to honor the voucher somehow or offer is the same price for brunch package. But instead, that girl told us to buy their brunch package, which was $39/person. Mimosa is basically a glass of orange juice with maybe a drop of champagne. Also, pictures attached is our water carafe which had MOLD in the bottom. This place is a joke! Our server, Ursula, was a darling. She was great, quick, and truly tried her best. Definitely a great employee at an awful business.

Great spot for Happy Hour. The staff here is very nice, great food options.

Good ambience but won't go again. Overcrowded and overpriced. We ordered few drinks and were chatting but after 30-40 minutes when we didn't order anything manager came to us with the cheque (indirectly asking us to leave), which I think was very rude of him. So I would say if you're gonna keep ordering stuff then they'll like you otherwise you're not their favorite customer

Came here with a friend after seeing the menu posted outside and we both decided we really wanted to try their mac and cheese items. We ordered the mac and cheese sticks as an appetizer and they were alright, but not mind blowing. We both ordered the mac and cheese burger which, while very highly priced, was actually really good. Overall atmosphere is dimly lit and loud, which is fine for me, but your mileage may vary. We were seated instantly as it was somewhat dead except for the bar and a party in the back. Our server was very friendly for the most part although we only talked to her 3 times over the course of an hour or so. Definitely would like to come back and try other things on the menu in the future.
