"After a four-year absence from Chicago, chef Steve Chiappetti has returned to lead a culinary re-envisioning of the Albert inside the Hotel EMC2 in Streeterville. Chiappetti has re-tailored the restaurant’s menu to feature family-style options such as a 24-ounce bone-in ribeye and a polenta board, which is both a timely adaptation of board-format foods and a callback to traditional Italian polenta parties. He emphasizes allowing servers to bring their personalities to work, aiming to create a lively dining atmosphere. Chiappetti’s approach has already resonated with customers, leading to an increase in bookings for large parties and celebratory occasions.
