Two Boba Tea Cafe Chains Open in Austin | Eater Austin

"Opening in Cedar Park at 1468 East Whitestone Boulevard, Suite 400 on Tuesday, February 27, The Alley is an international chain I describe as serving 'deerioca' drinks (its logo features an antlered deer) in flavors such as brown sugar, ube crème, and matcha. It also offers teas, fresh fruit drinks, 'snow velvet' drinks (teas with cheese foam), milk teas, yogurt drinks, and a variety of desserts including sweet and savory croffles. Founded in Taiwan in 2013 by Chiu Mao Ting, the brand has expanded worldwide and already has Texas locations in Katy, Plano, and Garland. The Cedar Park location's initial hours are limited (noon–6 p.m. on Feb. 27; noon–7 p.m. on Feb. 28–29; 11:30 a.m.–7 p.m. on March 1), and it's hosting a grand opening party on March 2 from noon–8 p.m. with giveaways for the first 100 guests." - Nadia Chaudhury

Grand opening today was so fun with freebies, lucky draws, lion dance! Great family-owned branch, conveniently located next to Daiso, Le Posh Nail Spa, K-Pot Korean BBQ, etc. Corner or Brodie and 290. Atmosphere is clean, chic and has warm vibes. Boba is fresh and great varieties. So happy to have another Asian store added to South Austin!

This is my favorite bubble tea shop in Austin! The space is open and refreshing, and I’m really impressed by how clean and nice it smells. The staff are super friendly and attentive. My favorite drink here is the purple rice yogurt — definitely a must-try! Their pastries are also delicious, not too sweet, just perfectly balanced.

Google
Absolutely love The Alley! Their mango and pineapple yogurt and mousse are incredibly tasty. So fresh and flavorful! The staff is always amazing and super friendly, which makes every visit such a pleasant experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you want something delicious and served with a smile!

Google
The Alley in Cedar Park is by far the best boba shop ever! Every visit feels like a treat thanks to their amazing staff, they’re always so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming 🤗 I really appreciate how helpful they are whenever I have questions about ingredients, toppings, or drink customizations. Their customer service makes the whole experience even better. I stop by every few weeks for my boba fix, and recently I noticed they’ve started baking their own sweet treats for the café. I’ve tried their strawberry mousse and brownies, and both were absolutely delicious, rich in flavor but not overly sweet. You can tell they focus on quality, not just sugar, and the balance is perfect. If you haven’t tried their new bakery items yet, I definitely recommend them. 😋 Another big thing I love about this location is how clean and well-maintained it always is. The shop smells great, the counters and tables are spotless, and even during their busiest hours (I usually come after work around 4–5pm or on weekends), the employees manage to keep everything tidy while working efficiently and still greeting every customer with a smile. On a few occasions, I’ve been a little too adventurous with my drink choices or sugar levels, totally my fault for being picky and the staff have been so kind about it. They’ve offered to adjust or even remake my drink to make sure I leave happy, which shows how much they care about their customers satisfaction. Overall, The Alley in Cedar Park checks all the boxes. Amazing drinks, tasty desserts, clean and cozy environment, and top-tier customer service. Whether you’re a boba regular or trying it for the first time, this is the perfect spot to relax, sip something delicious, and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.

I had the passion fruit green tea with jelly and it was amazing! Honestly, probably the best boba I’ve had in Texas. The tapioca pearls were just right - perfectly chewy, not slimy and the tea base was balanced, not too strong. The sweetness level was spot on. I also really liked the minimalistic, fresh interior, it felt bright and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot!

Google
This is my guilty pleasure place to visit before starting my groceries shopping at HMart. I've been visiting here since their opening and I'm glad that the service is only going upwards 1st Edit: Unfortunately, the service was only good when the manager was here. This is no way a shade towards the young employee but I feel like some needs more trainings than others. Especially when they're sharing tips and one give me a 0/10 service while the other is a 8/10. I might not be coming back too often after this and hope that this got addressed

Google
Smelly Secret The Alley is one of the most famous bobba tea shops chains, and for good reason. They provide a nice assortment of drinks not found in all bobba shops like the purple rice based drinks and make use of home made ingredients. I especially liked the natural fruit lychee I had in Houston which made me want to visit as soon as they opened in Austin. I didn't see the natural fruit lychee on the menu but found the purple rice based tea a nice departure from the typical fare of other bobba shops. They have board games, typically have some sort of fun anime crossover theme, and relatively comfortable seating. Something missing from most bobba shops. All that said they have a dreadful secret. As soon as you walk through the doors you're met with the unpleasant aroma of a dirty bathroom. Like when you need to go really bad but turn around and leave when you meet the wall of stench. I thought to myself, is this an off day? I looked around and others didn't seem to notice it or just were used to the smell. I went ahead and made my order and promptly left. I thought to myself, maybe it's an off day? I've now been on 3 different occasions with varying levels of odor. I'm a bit amazed other patrons are not affected. It appears they are making efforts to address the problem but ultimately it's not enough to enjoy the environment they've otherwise created. A real shame. It destroys the experience for me as it's hard to get that smell out of my head and impacts my enjoyment of the tea.

Was pleasantly surprised to find they’re selling espresso coffee! Clean looking place and some yummy looking muffins as well (though I didn’t try one)!

Yelp
I came here to grab myself a dessert after dinner and I'm so glad I did because it tasted great! I ordered their Ube taro brown sugar deerioca drink with regular boba. I love that it had the perfect amount of sweetness (not too sweet). I absolutely loved the real taro pieces in my drink. It went really well and the boba had a good bouncy texture. My partner ordered the brown sugar creme brulee deerioca milk drink. I was surprised to find that this drink was less sweet than the ube taro drink. I tasted little creme brulee flavor but it was still very good. Interior is nice and clean. Plenty of seats and there's a sufficient amount of parking space, especially in the back.

Yelp
The first time we came here, it was right after they had opened. At the time, I thought their drinks were too sweet and I vowed never to return. But we received a BOGO coupon in the mail, and sure enough we wanted to try them out again. When we got there, the bobarista happily accepted the coupon and took our order. I went for their Lychee Green Tea and P2 ordered their Uber Smoothie. It didn't take too long for our drinks to come out, around 5-7 minutes. We were seated on some comfy chairs, and the bobarista served our drinks to us. I think presentation-wise, they did a good job. They claim to have "beverage aesthetics" and I tend to agree. Does having good "beverage aesthetics" make a drink taste better? No, definitely not. We both thought our drinks weren't too bad, however. I had ordered my drink with 0% sugar but I added boba to mine. My drink also already came with lychee coconut, so the two toppings sweetened my drink naturally. P2 complained that her drink was still too sweet for her liking. We appreciated the service and the pleasant ambience inside. I took off a star because the drinks were just too expensive. Without a coupon, I don't think we would come back here with drinks costing $7-8 each!

Yelp
I think I found the best taro boba in Austin! We ordered taro one with the crème brûlée and one without. I prefer the one without since it has more ube flavor! Nice clean boba shop with great service!
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped by several times this year and the employees and manager are so nice. The drinks are delicious, the boba is en pointe. Our favorites were the Assam milk tea and the royal number 9, both less ice and less sugar. I prefer dairy milk when I can and it went well with the number 9. When we bounced back in, with a cooler to bring drinks back to base, the manager recognized us and a shared a complimentary croffle--yum! They offer military discount too--thank you!

DropitLike I.

Yelp
My first time having boba. It was SO good!! UBE taro oat milk tea!! Simply the best. Add extra taro!

Ashley I.

Yelp
2nd time here and its very clean and neat. Comfy chairs. The staff is so SO KIND each time. They really care about if you are satisfied with your drink!

Yelp
As I walked into the store, I fell for their modern and minimalist decor and love the fact that they also have a kiosk to take orders! We have been here a few times and the drinks were consistent which is a plus. Staff are okay as we always put our order through the kiosk so didn't really have to interact with them much. We tried their milktea with pearls, Royal No. 9 milk tea in a can, taro brown sugar deerioca, Ube taro brown sugar deerioca so far and they were all delicious. The balance between the strength of tea and milk is perfect and their pearls have the right amount of chew yet are still soft. The Ube taro brown sugar deerioca is my favorite as it tastes like a Thai dessert in a cup (so you know it's sweet), instead of using a spoon to eat, you just straight-up suck it from the straw...how convenient We had a chance to try their croffles and boy... I'm addicted! I went back to get more the following weekend By the way, you have to eat it right away for it to be good (crispy exterior and soft with some pull of a croissant texture inside) otherwise if the cream on top melts, the croffle itself gets soggy. The only complaint I have was, they have 3 different flavors but all of them taste the same which is cream brûlée! I'm not sure it was a one time-off thing or not since the advertising photos of each flavor shows the color of the cream match each flavor. But the cream on all three flavors of my croffles looked the same with just some sprinkles of chocolate and matcha on them. Just a sprinkle of matcha on top of the cream doesn't make it matcha flavor or matcha forward at all, and the same goes for the chocolate flavor. All in all, I'm a return customer and happy with their drinks & food.

Yelp
To start off, I don't like to drink too much milk tea(what kind of Asian am I??!?) but I do like regular tea drinks. Especially the black tea here. The tea was floral and wasn't too sweet for me. Definitely top of my list for black tea in Austin and surrounding. Highly recommend getting this tea, if you like regular tea. The interior is good. There isn't too much seating but the place is nice and big. So you get space to move around. They have anime cross promotions if you're into that You can order your drink at the cashier or the machine. And the drink comes pretty fast. I'll come back here when I'm in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Checked out The Alley and everything was so good. The croffle has always been my favorite. Crispy on the outside, buttery and flaky on the inside. It had that satisfying crunch when you bite in, followed by the soft, airy layers inside. Sweet but not overpowering. I went with classic brown sugar milk tea with boba, and it was smooth, creamy, and just the right level of sweetness. The boba pearls were chewy and fresh -- no weird stiffness or mushiness. The brown sugar gave it that deep, caramel-y flavor that paired really well with the buttery croffle. Would absolutely get both again.

Yelp
I love that there is a high quality boba option in Cedar Park! I love their milk and fruit teas. Service is quick and they have an option to order through a kiosk. Plenty of seating.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
The Alley has several reserved parking spots right in front of the store! The front window and inside is clean, simple, and minimal. Inside there are many SpyxFamily posters and of course deer! We ordered at the little kiosk, which has about half of the pictures of the items. It was easy to place the order. The croffle was made to order and so very delicious!!! The Okinawa tea we ordered was very delicious as well. Staff were polite and friendly. I will be back to try out the other two croffle flavors and some more of the drinks!

Yelp
Yes yes and yes I got the Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk Boba ($0.70) * Crystal Boba ($0.95) * Extra Boba ($0.80) * No Ice * Organic Milk * Slight Sugar Absolutely amazing
google avatar

Yelp
This famous boba shop has opened in the Austin area! I had the Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk, which comes with brown sugar boba. The milk options were dairy, oat, and soy. I opted for the soy milk. This drink was phenomenal! The flavours mixed so well together. I got it with no sugar, which was perfect as the drink is naturally very sweet. My friend, however, tragically got a drink that neither of us liked. She got the Matcha Purple Rice Yogurt, which comes with green tea jelly. This drink was so sour and unpleasant. The sourness came from the yogurt, which did not blend well with the bitterness of the purple rice and grass jelly. The yogurt tasted like non-fat plain Greek yogurt. She got it with less sugar (50%), and we couldn't taste any sweetness at all. We came here to study on a Sunday afternoon, and luckily it wasn't very busy. There is wifi, and we were able to get two small tables. The booth side bench was unnaturally high for the short table, so it was impossible to sit without being hunched over the table.

Yelp
Best Boba options available in Austin. Their ambience is top notch and the place carries positive vibe with great music and personal space to relax.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm gooped and plucked. I'm not exaggerating but the tiramisu crunchy boba is the best boba I've ever had, and I get boba at least once a week. The pearls are cooked to perfection, absolutely squishy all the way through. When those sticky balls hit my mouth I audibly squealed. The drink tastes like you are slurping up marscapone goodness. And I was so surprised when the crunch hit me, I thought the crunch meant that it would be icey but they put like crumbles of pastry or like Frosted Flakes and it perfectly encapsulates the flavor of the lady fingers. What is this sorcery, how did they make such a scrumptious drink. I'm coming back...

Elaine L.

Yelp
The boba is amazing here and the options are great as well! My favorites are: The sparkling lemon lychee tea, the mango coconut smoothie, and the deerioca brown sugar ube boba.
google avatar

Laura A.

Yelp
I got the Creme Brulee Deerioca Latte. It's fantastic! I'm sure it would be even better if GrubHub notified me when it was delivered - over half an hour ago - instead of alerting me that it was late and letting my iced coffee sit in the summer heat. By the time I found it the drink had rolled all over my porch, and it's not windy today, also odd. Not the restaurant's fault tho, next time I will go in person. Definitely one of the best coffee boba places around.

Yelp
Soft opening today. Grand opening on Saturday. So glad they're here in Cedar Park now!!! We can get our fix faster than waiting to drive far or fly to a different city! First time we had them was in Honolulu then in Paris, France. We are so lucky to have this here in Cedar Park! We got their brown sugar Deerioca creme brûlée milk and ube taro brown sugar Deerioca milk drinks in the brown sugar deerioca menu. These are tealess & so yummy! Will come back for more tea based drinks soon. They will gradually have everything on the menu as the days progress so come Saturday- you can get everything on their menu. Welcome to CP!

Yelp
Wasnt happy with the cheesecake quality nor the price!! I said never mind I didnt want the cheesecake but she didn't understand me I felt forced to buy it and then forced to eat it was nasty.

Yelp
Decided to visit this boba shop one evening to give it a try. Being their first week, all orders were processed through their self service machine, unless you were among the first 100 to sign up on their website before their soft opening and had a coupon. Inside there are multiple tables to hang out and relax with your friends and family or to just study. The drinks are priced around 8-9 dollars before tax and any additional toppings. Opted for the Snow Strawberry Smoothie, although it turned out more like juice with a milk cap on top rather than a traditional smoothie. This deviation from expectations left me somewhat disappointed, especially considering the discrepancy in the name compared to other locations I've visited. Additionally, I noticed they charge a 3% fee for credit card payments, which seems odd given that they don't accept cash. Overall, while it's another boba option in the area, I'll likely choose other establishments before returning to this one.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
Now that the lines have died down, I'll definitely be coming around more often. It's a solid boba shop but their drinks are SO sweet, even at 25% sugar, maybe because of the boba? I'll try it again at 0% sugar. And the calorie estimates hurt to look at, but that's why I consider milk tea a dessert - haha!
google avatar

Thu T.

Yelp
Their Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca stole my heart!!! Drink: Their brown sugar flavor is strong yet blends in very well with the drink. I kept the sweetness as is and it was great: sweet as you would expect for brown sugar milk drinks but it is not overwhelming. Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca: Super pretty purple color. They have real chunks of taro and ube syrup, as well as brown sugar boba. Make sure you shake it up well! I'm not usually a taro milk tea person because of the typical artificial taro flavor when I am used to the real stuff...But oh my!! Alley blew my mind. It's real taro y'all and it is good! Royal Milk Tea No.5: I tried the one in the can and it was quite interesting. It has a hint of blueberry fruity flavor. Good for milk tea in a can. Not too sure how it taste fresh... Boba: Quite softer than what I prefer but I certainly enjoy the taste! Price: It is pricey compared to other shops, but with the real taro chunks and real ube taste in their drink, I would say it is worth it. There is a 3% credit card surcharge fee which is a minus since there's no way for you to avoid it because they don't take cash. If there's fee, I would prefer to have it included in the price. Shop: Cute interior with lots of seatings. Some more smiles and positive vibes from staff would be cherry on top :)

Yelp
The Alley is my jam! I was first introduced to them on a family trip to Tokyo and have been hooked ever since returning home. Houston and Dallas have this chain, and finally, now ATX! They are technically out in the burbs of Cedar Park, which isn't a problem for me out in here, the space is light, airy, plenty of seating, and for soft opening, they were on their game the night before grand opening tomorrow! Drinks were made very swiftly even though there were folks in line waiting with the hype of the opening. I will say our party all agreed the drinks are on the very sweet side, even those of us who modded for less sweet to half sweet. The Alley here also only has one size in drinks where we were accustomed to the Asian size drinks of a smaller cup. Looking forward to many more stops of yummy drinks here!
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Nut allergy friendly. I ordered the #2 Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Drink. There is a 3% credit card surcharge fee. Overall, I'd say the drink is tasty and the boba consistency is good with a honey flavor. However, it's just way too sweet. Also, there's way too much ice that makes actually mixing and drinking the creme brulee to be ridiculously hard if you drink it fast. I literally had to dump the ice out and eat the creme brulee with a spoon at the end. Note that this drink is over 1100 calories as made, based on menus from other locations. I tried my friend's Royal milk tea and got some strange fruity taste. I had to look up other reviews of other locations and apparently it's a blueberry tea. Fair warning that if you like standard milk teas, this isn't it. Also, apparently if you ask for less sugar, that actually means less boba because the sugar comes from the boba. I didn't realize this until after I received the drink and heard it explained to someone else. Overall, it's a very sweet dessert drink with little flavor, way too much ice, and poor service.
google avatar

Erica M.

Yelp
Love it ! Got the Ube Taro Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk. Not too sweet , made the way I customized it , was ready in less than 10 mins. The boba was really good , chewy and fresh. The brown sugar tastes nutty and almost like a crumbled cookie. Also got an iced coffee with boba for the morning, which looks totally excellent. Can't wait to try that.
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
A really cute spot to catch up with friends! I feel like the Alley has a lot of specialty style drinks which is nice to try new things, but is not necessarily the best thing if you're just trying to go with your typical order. The coffee milk tea has a decent coffee taste, but didn't necessarily meet my expectations since I was expected something a little more like Vietnamese iced coffee. But still pretty good! Their regular milk tea is also pretty good. But it does have a fruitish flavor to it, which is pretty unique. Their fruit teas are also really good and really refreshing!
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
Finally visited The Alley, which has come to the Austin area! I ordered their milk tea with boba, and it was pretty good even with 50% sugar. I don't like their tapioca pearls as much--the texture is a bit on the harder side. Service is really fast, and we got our drinks quickly. The baristas are also really sweet. I would definitely come again, but I wish it wasn't so far up north.
google avatar

Annie Y.

Yelp
Happy grand opening!! It is always so exciting to celebrate the opening of new boba shops around town. I love the location, it is in a really great spot that needs more boba, and what better one than The Alley. During their grand opening, we got the following drinks: - Ube Creme Brûlée Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk: I did enjoy this drink, I liked how strong the ube flavor was and it was creamy. Personally, it was more on the dense side so I got tired of it midway through. - Matcha Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk: I didn't like this drink, I don't think the Matcha flavor was strong enough for how much creamer and milk was added in. - Jasmine Green Milk Tea: This was probably my favorite drink out of the two, although a classic selection, the tea flavor was super fragrant and it wasn't too dense or too light which I appreciated. I think The Alley does a great job with the consistency and flavor of their tapioca. It is just sweet enough to add to your drink, it is chewy and not overly soft, and just the right amount. For my drinks, I got half ice and 75% sugar which I think is a great combo just because there is a decent amount of sweetness coming from the boba itself.
google avatar

Tina D.

Yelp
I came on the last day of their soft opening. I tried their lychee yogurt smoothie, purple rice yogurt smoothie and ube brown boba and cream brûlée milk. I love their lychee yogurt smoothie, it is sweet and had actual lychee in it. Their purple rice yogurt smoothie is less sweet and have a coffee like aroma to it. Their ube brown boba and cream brûlée milk was good too! Surprisingly, it wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be. Sadly they did not have Wifi set up when I came over with the intention to study there too, but it was technically still their soft opening so I understand. One thing is that the wait time was a bit long to get my boba and sometimes they called the people out of order.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Yay for another boba shop in the Austin area! Sad that the prices are higher, but the quality of the drink is pretty solid. I got the strawberry green tea with jelly less sweet and less ice. Right now, you order on a kiosk and the drinks come out pretty quick.
google avatar

Vandesha L.

Yelp
I had no idea this place was so close to home. I love the ambiance (great photo ops) they have a kiosk to order on your own or you can order at the counter. The employees are very knowledgeable about the menu and we're able to help me decide what to order. While the menu is a little pricey the quality of ingredients is worth every penny.
google avatar

Cam H.

Yelp
Pretty disappointed in my drinks. The matcha brown sugar barely had any matcha flavor in it and tasted very watered down. Likewise with their regular brown sugar drink, except that one had creme brûlée which helped the taste a bit. I hope this is just a soft opening mistake and they can further perfect their drinks. The tapioca balls were good and soft. Otherwise, I didn't enjoy the drinks at all and don't understand the hype about this place. Great service, very friendly staff. Cute atmosphere too. I love the deer theme. Plenty of parking outside. There was no line when I came to visit.
google avatar

Emily P.

Yelp
Went here twice during their soft opening and tried their Ube Taro and Purple Rice Yogurt drink! Both were very delicious but if I had to choose I'd pick the Ube Taro one. Their deerioca isn't sooooo delicious!!! It's definitely one of the better quality bubble tea places here in Austin. The service was quick . Will definitely be coming back to try their other flavors out.
google avatar

Wayne N.

Yelp
It's finally here! Heard a lot about this chain and while the calories posted on the menu make you wonder how close you are to diabetes, you won't regret drinking the boba either. Busy on opening weekend but even with the line, they seem to have gotten the process down to a pretty expedient system. As for the drinks, the tea is very good but be warned very sweet. The slightly sweet option might be a 70% sweet at most other boba chains, so calibrate accordingly. The assam milk tea is excellent and if you want something unique, the royal milk tea has blueberry notes. Brown sugar boba is a must. I'm too old for the brown sugar drinks but I'm sure they're good since that's what this chain is known for. Glad to have a great boba option in the suburbs!
google avatar

Erin L.

Yelp
I have tried The Alley in Houston and Irvine so I had to drive to the Cedar Park location on Grand Opening Day! I went with some friends and we got the ube brown sugar milk tea, brown sugar deerioca milk tea, and peach oolong tea. The boba pearls definitely live up to their hype- super soft, chewy, and flavorful! The service was amazing, we got our drinks quickly after we ordered, and the vibes in the shop were cute!
google avatar

Ray L.

Yelp
Love the classic milktea here. It tastes much richer than your ordinary milktea chains. Ida is also super friendly to every customer that comes into the store. Highly recommended!

Ling C.

Yelp
Love their passion fruits tea, and boba. So good! And if you love strong tea flavors! This is the one you should visit.
google avatar

Amy F.

Yelp
Royal No. 9 Milk Tea was delightful! It tastes like the tea was brewed with dried fruit, leading to a pleasantly bright and subtly fruity milk tea flavor, which is different from most places I've tried. I got less sweet, which was enjoyable for me and slightly on the sweeter side (I tend to get 30-50% at most places). You order via a kiosk, and although it was busy, the line moved pretty quickly and the drinks came out decently fast. It's a cute place to catch up with friends! Overall, a great boba addition to Cedar Park!
google avatar

Liz N.

Yelp
Service was great and the cashier was very friendly. Got my boba fix. Highly recommend

Yelp
I had to visit The Alley to give them a chance, one since I love to support local businesses, and two since my daughter recommended it after trying their Ube Creme Brule drink. It was a Sunday and the line took 30 mins before I got to the counter, and I was about to order when I was told they were out of the brown sugar boba ‍ great. But since I stood for almost 30 mins might as well give it a try. I ordered the 3 ube taro drinks and was still charged for the price of the brown sugar boba but only using their regular boba, I paid almost $30 for 4 drinks , which is more than a decent meal anywhere. At any rate, the drink was very underwhelming and dare I say bad, Im used to KungFu Tea which is literally less than a mile away, their Taro slush and boba is way better than this, and cost less. The only redeeming factor is their manager Andrew who assured me he'll take care of me the next visit, I'm hoping so. I'll still give them another chance, hoping it's much better the next time around.

Alexandria ..

Yelp
Love the vibes love the sugar level access some places don't let you do no sugar but this one does so good for people who watching their sugar etc employees were super nice too

Burachat T.

Yelp
Amazing , cute classy clean, I got many favorite drinks. Here is the best ube taro smoothie. Mocha coffee is so good. Yogurt purple rice with slight sugar is very healthy. Oreo crunchy and Strawberry crunchy are my kids favorite. So nice place for hang out.

Yelp
Great and friendly service - really delicious Jasmine tea! - freshly brewed. Also appreciate them being open later than a lot of places.

Yelp
In my 10+ years of drinking boba, I'm saddened to say this is the first drink I took one sip of and threw away. It was so sweet it was undrinkable. DANIEL YOU IDIOT WHY DID YOU GET 100% SUGAR? That's the rub, I didn't, I got 50%. Maybe they thought 50% meant 100% + 50%? I don't know. This place is good for bulking though, 1100 calories for a few drinks is pretty good value! Drink two of these a day and you don't even need to eat a meal.

Yelp
I'll preface I'm a tea fanatic and have tried over hundreds of places. Why I love this place? The lychee tea is one of the best I've had. It tastes like actual tea with the right amount of tannin vs other places that tastes like water with syrup. The sweet and tart balance was just right. The lychee toppings are a little too sweet so I usually opt out or replace it with boba or crystal boba. I also like that the place is clean and airy.

Yelp
This is only based on my review of the Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca. Since the Alley is located so far away from my house, I came to try it after all the hype died down and made my way up north. You order your drink on a tablet near the counter, and you can customize it and pick the sweetness for each drink. I ordered the Ube brown sugar Deerioca with light ice and less sugar since I don't like my drinks super sweet. This Boba tea has the best texture and even includes chunks of real ube...it was still a little sweeter than I liked, but overall, it was probably one of the best Boba places next to Chicha san Chen. Really happy to have another option for Boba tea!

Yelp
Wow I'm so happy this place is nearby. I've gotten the signature brown sugar latte with boba multiple times and it's always awesome. Very clean and nice space inside. Staff are super friendly and quick. Best boba I've had in Cedar Park, particularly if you're looking for something with coffee.

Yelp
Milk tea here is good I ordered a drink today. It's a win for someone who loves real taro but not sweet. They told me to get soy milk instead of their premade ube milk. I'm glad I got this. I will be back for more
