"Opening in Cedar Park at 1468 East Whitestone Boulevard, Suite 400 on Tuesday, February 27, The Alley is an international chain I describe as serving 'deerioca' drinks (its logo features an antlered deer) in flavors such as brown sugar, ube crème, and matcha. It also offers teas, fresh fruit drinks, 'snow velvet' drinks (teas with cheese foam), milk teas, yogurt drinks, and a variety of desserts including sweet and savory croffles. Founded in Taiwan in 2013 by Chiu Mao Ting, the brand has expanded worldwide and already has Texas locations in Katy, Plano, and Garland. The Cedar Park location's initial hours are limited (noon–6 p.m. on Feb. 27; noon–7 p.m. on Feb. 28–29; 11:30 a.m.–7 p.m. on March 1), and it's hosting a grand opening party on March 2 from noon–8 p.m. with giveaways for the first 100 guests." - Nadia Chaudhury
