"You might see the cast of some currently filming Netflix series parade into the discreet back corners of the Americano, the InterContinental Buckhead’s Italian steakhouse concept by a celebrity chef. Celebrities and star chef aside, Americano is a venue that can be enjoyed by anyone in search of a lowkey setting to enjoy a quiet, quality meal. We don’t fault them. With a dark, sleek decor, big artsy photos, and a spacious interior that offers ample room between tables, Americano feels like the place to divulge covert intel over martinis and better-than-average steaks or to share juicy office drama over wine and housemade pasta dishes like rigatoni with marinara. Minimalist sophistication might be the theme here, from the design aesthetic to food preparation and presentation, but the standout creamy polenta with mushroom au jus is a must-order at the venue and  is best enjoyed when you’re not worried about paparazzi waiting to catch you with a messy, soupy spoonful of polenta dripping down your chin. We won’t judge you when you lick the bowl clean because it’s just that good. The cocktail menu ventures down a more playful path. If you really are trading secrets with your sleeper cell, pick carefully, since many of the drinks come to your table with some sort of smoky or spritzy show—cover blown. If you are looking for more of a social scene, the Americano Bar, near the restaurant’s entrance, delivers. Business pros, hotel guests, and an assortment of Buckhead cliches usually gather around to discuss whatever’s making news on the the bar screens. If you find yourself getting a little tipsy, use the moment to present a counter-argument as to why Lady Gaga is the real reason the Falcons blew their lead in 2017, an evergreen discussion. Whatever you’re looking for, Americano gives you the option to choose your scenario: i.e. extroverted hotel lobby bar-goer or introverted secret agent. But just remember if you aren’t dining alone, maintain some grace when eating the polenta. You don’t need witnesses. Food Rundown Drunken Wifey Be warned to guard your emotions when the bartender slips you a cocktail napkin with a number on it. It’s all part of the shtick when you order the Drunken Wifey cocktail, which pairs the sweetness of housemade limoncello with Milagro tequila. Polenta “Cremosa” Let’s acknowledge the polenta and grits similarities then quickly steer away before things get too messy. On its own, this creamy, cheesy dish is like a spoonful of comfort, then the savory mushroom au jus adds more depth that makes you yearn for a weighted blanket in your booth since you’ve found your happy place. Pasta Al Pomodoro Though Italian steakhouse is the theme, you’d be negligent to bypass the housemade pasta. Order the Pasta Al Pomodoro as a main course or shareable side; its simplicity allows all the freshness of tomatoes and herbs to shine. Macaroni Tre Formaggi We give the Macaroni Tre Formaggi immediate entry into our best mac and cheese bracket. Individually baked, with three cheeses, and topped with crispy bread crumbs, the noodles are a silky-yet-firm doneness. Campenelle “King crab in pasta with calabrian chili” sounds like a line Julie Andrews omitted last-minute from “My Favorite Things.” With all those favorite ingredients combined, this should be a winning dish, but the flavors don’t shine like they should. The crab, butter, and chili flavors disappear behind a mountain of bland pasta. Bone-In Ribeye The steak arrives at your table on a big wooden cutting board, accessorized with a big bundle of fresh rosemary and paired with your choice of sides and sauces. It’s another simple preparation, but perfectly blackened on the outside and done to your preference. They do you the favor of pre-slicing off the bone into a few thick chucks but still give you the bone to gnaw on or take home." - Nina Reeder

⸻ I was visiting from Florida and stayed at The Lloyd Hotel, which is perfectly located near so many of the great new restaurants that have opened up downtown Stamford. On a quiet Sunday night, we wanted to stay close by and decided to have a late dinner at The Americano—and we were so glad we did! The place is absolutely beautiful—elegant, stylish, and warm with dim lighting and cozy ambiance that made the evening feel really special. We sat at the bar, and our bartender, Steven, was amazing. This was actually the second time he’s taken care of us during a visit to Stamford. The first time was earlier this year during brunch, which featured a live band and delicious food. That experience was so good, it made coming back for dinner an easy choice. Let me just say… the goat cheese mashed potatoes are sinfully delicious. If you visit, don’t skip them—they’re an absolute must-try. I had the salmon with broccolini, and it was incredible. I meant to take a picture before diving in, but as you’ll see in the photo section—my plate was completely clean! This is one of those places that gets it right: beautiful setting, fantastic food, and excellent service. Highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again next time I’m in Stamford!

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was just right cozy, but still vibrant. The food? Incredible. Every bite was full of flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We especially loved the cocktails the OF was amazing we had a bunch of rounds! Service was quick, but not rushed, and everyone made us feel right at home. Special shout out to Julio incredible manager, his professionalism was impressive , Egle and Ariana our waitresses they were on top of everything and we are already planning our next visit! come!

Google
Genuinely the best meal I have ever had in my life. A dozen oysters & the Spicy Lobster Fettuccine were both simultaneously the best oysters I’ve ever had (Blue Point) and the best Pasta dish I’ve ever had. Incredible. Will be back. Fabian was the MAN. Great service. Great vibes. Great drinks.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. First, the staff is full of welcoming love. In Hawaii they would say they’re full of Aloha. Next. Having tried Happy hours in DOZENS of places the last few months, they have without a doubt the BEST. Their bar “well” gor $10 happy hour martinis, just doesn’t get any better. Food wise, lunch specials are a steal. Sandwiches are a tad on the small side BUT, their apps are so large it balances out Been twice, and both times our experience was impeccable. Shout out to Luis on the floor end and Jay behind the bar. 33 years in Stamford and over two visits this changes to our go to place

This past Saturday my girlfriends and I held our 10th Annual reunion dinner here. A total party of 17!!! What a success. From the beginning, Julio made the reservation and pre fix menu selections easy. The night of our dinner, we arrived on time and even though the restaurant was at full capacity, our table for 17 was ready for us. They even allowed us to put up a few decorations ;). Everyone agrees that our food was DELICIOUS, drinks were crafted with love and the service was spot on. We have no complaints. A huge thank you to Julio, the GM who made this possible and continued to check on our table throughout our 3 hour reservation. This restaurant was very clean. Decorated beautifully. THANK YOU!!! We will be back!!!

Google
Great spot. Very lively, great atmosphere. Food wise good. We had calamari and wings to start. They were good. We ordered meatballs, 2 steak frites and a sirloin. They mixed up the temperature of the steak frites and my sirloin, while cooked well was cool, could have been hotter. Probably sat for a while too long. The asparagus and broccoli rabe was a little under. The meatballs were tasty, but had a mushy texture to them. Hey. We had a great night. And I would recommend it. But not sure I would be back.

Google
First time here and it is worth every penny. We will definitely be back for the vibes, ambiance, service and exceptional food. We had a craving for good quality steak and the Americano served us with cooked to the right temperature for our Hanger steak with chimichurri and Tenderloin with Sherry Dijon, those sauces paired with the steak were immaculate. Before we got to the steak, we started with the shrimp cocktail that fresh with a cute bottle of Tabasco lol and the Burrata was melted to your taste buds to go along with the tomato jam and prosciutto (gluten free, they have options for a good handful of dishes too!). Side note: We also loved speakeasy Sunday, half off on drinks! Yes, please we will back on Sundays!

Google
This review is over two different visits at different times. While the cocktails were well made, they took a long time to arrive despite there being a lull at both visits - in fact, good arrived before cocktails. During the first visit, the food had very little flavor to speak of. This, coupled with the price point, dissuaded our party from staying for dinner. The second visit was better, but still lackluster. Dessert was significantly better than the food, which was (as explained by the server) because desserts are made by a bakery and brought in, not made in house.

Christine R.

Yelp
What an awesome spot. We came here for brunch on Sunday and came back to check out their Martini Happy Hour. The food was really good, from the presentation to the actual taste. The cocktails were specially designed and made to perfection. The staff were knowledgeable about items on the menu and made great recommendations. The mixologist was on point with making exceptional cocktails. Americano is definitely worth the visit.

Dana L.

Yelp
We started with the charcuterie which was a bit overpriced. The Nashville Chicken Sandwich was good but wasn't Nashville hot. The fries were very good and topped with old bay seasoning. Ended with a tiramisu espresso martini which was a very good way to end the meal. The staff were very welcoming.

Yelp
Dined at the Americano during Stamford Restaurant Week and had a lovely experience. The servers here are super attentive -- we received 10/10 hospitality which made our experience so pleasant! They have a wide variety of food options on their menu. I tried the salmon and my husband had the sous vide chicken. We also started off with a French onion soup which was amazingg! Probably the best I've ever had. Everything we had tasted really great. However I do wished they browned or roasted the chicken a bit more. It was a bit light for my personal preference. Other than that we enjoyed our whole experience and will definitely be back to try more of their menu options.

Kiley K.

Yelp
Really cute place with a nice drink selection and variety of menu options. The corned beef hash was good but could have done without the hollandaise. The check took a while to come but overall service was good and friendly!

David J.

Yelp
Ok so we came here for brunch and not dinner. With that said.... We freaking loved it. I had an espresso whiskey drink that was strong and delicious. Peter had a berry spice tequila drink with was also delish. The Cesar salad was one of the best I have had in a long time. It doesn't list anchovies but it definitely had a slight anchovy taste. Which I love!! The chicken Milanese was awesome and I hand the corned beef hash and eggs . Not a traditional hash but it was delicious. We sat outside on an early spring day. Awesome. Good music. This is our new "brunch place"!

Christine L.

Yelp
Went there for birthday cocktails with a few friends! Immediately was greeted and seated at the bar. The bartender Steven was attentive and extremely knowledgeable with craft cocktails. We ordered a Cosmo & the Only Fans which were delicious! My other friend came and asked Steven to make a cocktail with cucumber & mint in which he delivered! I look forward to coming back for dinner and more cocktails!

Sam C.

Yelp
Service and food was pretty good. I'd come back for sure and I love Stamford area in general. No complaints at all and anyone who goes here would have fun. I went a couple months ago and just forgot to post a review but I definitely enjoyed my stay

Jackie B.

Yelp
We wondered in on a Friday after seeing a movie. The restaurant has a very charming modern vibe. We weren't that hungry so we split 3 apps (and didn't finish the salad it was so big) the Burrata was delicious, the apple and goat cheese salad was a little over dressed and I thought there should have been more apples in it considering the name, and the shrimp cocktail was nice. Our waiter was wonderful, and perfectly attentive, the food came out very fast. I would def go back.

Emma D.

Yelp
Was super excited to try this new spot and was unfortunately disappointed. The decor is beautiful and the bar has ample space to fit a crowd on a busy night. However, I got served the wrong drink twice after receiving slow service at the bar. The two pasta dishes we got were awful. The pasta was bizarrely thick which I have never experienced before, along with the fact that it was barely cooked. The portions were ridiculously small considering the high price of each dish. Hopefully, the restaurant can improve with practice because I really wanted to like it.

aatiq T.

Yelp
"I had an incredible dining experience at the americano. The menu offered a delightful mix of flavors and textures. Here's a breakdown of the dishes I tried: · Tacos: Soft shell,a delightful combination. (9/10) · Steak: tender and juicy but didn't cooked to perfection, seasoning was not perfect (5/10) · Halibut: Flaky, fresh, and expertly prepared. The citrus-herb sauce and mashed potatoes complemented the fish beautifully. (7/10) · Chocolate Cake: Rich, moist, and decadent. 8 layered cake with extra scoop ice cream The perfect balance of sweet and dark chocolate. (8/10) Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!" Great vibe for weekend The experience was luxurious, but came with a hefty price tag. While the quality was exceptional, the prices made it difficult to fully appreciate the experience. If budget is no concern, then it is a great choice.

Yelp
Fabian the bartender made one of the best dirty martinis I've had in months. The Fra Diavalo mussels were as they should be: small!!! Too many restaurants serving these oversized mussels that are just....too much (read ('disgusting'). We actually asked Fabian in advance and he assured us. It was the small mussels we would be receiving. The sauce was pleasantly garlic-y and spicy but not overbearing with either. The accompanying bread was toasted and perfect for soaking up the sauce. Ordered the lobster pasta, which was quite surprisingly flavorful. Not your typical white sauce, cream pasta. This was actually the dish we recommend highest. And we would never order a lobster pasta so delicious. As a second entrée because we were not very hungry we ordered an appetizer the shrimp Bao buns, only because one of us is a vegetarian. But we would never ever order this. Normally we would have tilted toward the truffle Arancini. But we stepped outside of our comfort zone and we're so delighted. Because this was a completely different flavor from anything we expected, and we were absolutely delighted. Additionally, we had one Cosmo, which Fabian nailed. And also a gin and tonic which was precisely as it should be. Perhaps the best part of this bar apart from the great food and service is the ambience. It is well decorated and has a young (but not too young) and upbeat vibe. This restaurant just vaulted itself up into our top five favorite restaurants in Stamford. It literally nailed every single point. Oh and did I mention we not only got street parking about 50 feet from the door, but there were actually three spots to choose from. And the restaurant was about half full when we got there. Great new find!

Peter V.

Yelp
Had brunch here on a Sunday outside. Fantastic- really enjoyed what the space is like. Had the chicken Milanese the Caesar salad and the truffle fries. I loved it all. They had a separate brunch menu which had so many options that we were torn wi Al the delicious-ness! Service was perfect. Recommend and going back - for dinner next time.

Chitra S.

Yelp
Big shout out to our server, Egla who was polite and attentive and the manager, Mr. Luis Ramirez, such an accommodating gentleman. They made our first time (dinner) visit to The Americano such a pleasurable and welcoming experience. I absolutely love the decor and speakeasy vibe of this restaurant. Kudos to the owners! The food and drinks are impeccable. Tried the Socialite, OnlyFans, Raspberry thyme and Espresso Martini. All were equally amazing and well balanced cocktails. The Spicy Lobster Fettuccine and the Scallop Romarin was to die for. Cooked to perfection, beautifully presentated and extremely flavorful. Compliments to the chef and bartender!!! The Cheesecake Brûlée and Chocolate Decadence were delicious as well. We are very grateful to have them here in Stamford and looking forward to continuing doing business with them.

Sydney L.

Yelp
The ambiance was great but some food was slightly off and not the best service. ordered asian chicken chopped and the dressing was like water with barely any flavor making my salad extremely soggy and almost soup like.

Samantha H.

Yelp
Was really excited to try downtown Stamford's newest addition and it was worth the hype! Food & drinks were delicious and served fast even on a busy Thursday night kicking off a holiday weekend (thank you to Destiny for awesome service!) Also impressed with the restaurant's gorgeous interior (and exterior!!) and great vibes from the music to the people. I ordered the short rib ravioli and was not disappointed. Mushrooms could have been cooked a little more evenly (some pieces were mushy and some very tough) but otherwise the dish rocked. I also would be thrilled to see a vegetarian entree next time because although all the food was delish I'm not sure anything except maybe the quinoa salad would fit the bill for a meal for someone who doesn't eat meat or in general wants a plant-forward plate. Looking forward to my next visit to Americano!

Franklyn T G.

Yelp
Here ye here ye from far and near, The one they call the Tri State Frankie Baby is here!!!!!! ‍ Let me tell you something,..... some things...(Plural) From day one this place was welcoming. For me at least. HOSTESS Greeted and sat at the bar as suggested with a smile. ‍ BARTENDER (Nataliei) / The reason I return almost daily,..3 to 4 times a week. Mainly her shifts. Think I'm lying,.... Killian F.

Yelp
I had a great time here at The Americano. The food is super tasty and fresh. The staff is super well-trained and kind. The ambiance is very nice here. 5 stars for sure.

Daniela G.

Yelp
I came a while ago but my experience was amazing the food the people I loved it the host was super nice the server we had Isabel was 10/10 and everything was what you would want at a restaurant. The margaritas we ordered were just how we like strong and tasty! We had the burrata that tasted super well with the prosciutto on the bottom and that balsamic sauce was just right. The truffle fries are to die for, they are amazing just right amount of parmesan and truffle oil. We also got the Gnocchi which was super super creamy and so flavorful it was so good. Everything was amazing!!!

Francois P.

Yelp
I decided to just enter while waking on Main Street, just I see what this place was all about on a Tuesday night: it really didn't disappoint! The service was great, and, twice the waitress came by to update me on my meal (considering I was about to have a 14 oz Berkshire pork chop, it's normal it was taken time). It was A LOT of food, but, it was delicious! I also iced the atmosphere: I was by myself and very comfortable. A group was also at the back of the restaurant having some sort of party and it didn't take anything awash from the ambiance.

Scott S.

Yelp
I've been to The Americano, a new trendy eatery in downtown Stamford twice and thought it time to give this restaurant a review. Simply put, it's exceptional and thankfully, a big hit. The word of mouth has really helped since I frequently hear people talking about it. Our party of three dined on a Saturday night. Our server, I wish I knew his name, was polite, helpful, and efficient. When he brought the wrong drink (things happen) he quickly fixed the issue and was gracious throughout. We enjoyed the Burrata and Truffle Arancini as starters, and the Hangar Steak, Salmon, and Scallops with a side of truffle fries and a side of spinach. For dessert, the caramel bread pudding. For drinks, the raspberry thyme, margarita, and gimlet. Each and every item was exceptional! As a courtesy, the kind manager gave us free drink vouchers for a nightcap at the bar. The Americano is run incredibly well with a caring, knowledgeable staff and a cool hip ambiance with black, white, and red atmosphere. It's always crowded which is proof that the restaurant is being appreciated as one of the new Stamford hits of 2023 and beyond.

Zak B.

Yelp
Service was absolutely abysmal. Felt like my presence was an inconvenience to the bar staff. Waited over 10 minutes before a manager took my drink order and another 10 before I received my drink. Food was mid drinks were poorly mixed. Plenty of better places in the area to go to instead. Would not go back

Fiona S.

Yelp
Really great ambiance and fabulous cocktail menu! Food menu is somewhat limited but everything we ordered was very good. Would come back again for a date night.

Stacie P.

Yelp
Incredible food and really fun vibe with great music. This place is exactly what downtown Stamford needed! Amazing raw bar, cocktails and a variety of entrees.

Russ B.

Yelp
Americano has great energy and atmosphere. Food and drinks are above average. We've been there twice and plan to make this a regular go-to place.

Alyssa G.

Yelp
This place was good in theory, however it did not deliver what I thought it was going to. I love the decor, ambiance, the service was amazing and the staff were so accommodating. But, the food quality was just not matching the price range or living up to its name. The arancini and my mango mule were SOOOO good. The hanger steak dish was also delicious - especially the mashed potatoes. However, we got the mussels and they were incredibly fishy and we had to send them back - our waiter and the manager were very accommodating. The short rib ravioli was weirdly thick and the sauce was non existent - this could use some improvement. The cheesecake was good/bad at the same time - the crust almost tasted not cooked and weirdly textured but the cream was good. I also loved that the waiter and the manager asked where the room for improvement was in our meal. You can tell they're trying their best to keep up with the crowd AND keep on improving! Overall, I would definitely come back if the food improved because it was a very nice atmosphere and the staff were great!

Missy C.

Yelp
Great location and excited to try this place. Sadly, the WORST service! My friend got her lunch at least a half hour before I got mine. And, I had to ask where my simple salad with shrimp was. The staff brought to us something we did not order. We had to ask for ice in our water despite it being 90 degrees. Not going back!

Laura R.

Yelp
I went yesterday for lunch, the service was great, my server Jay was very friendly with me, really good food and amazing drinks!

Jennie F.

Yelp
Came here for the first time last night. Loved the vibe of the place. Drinks were good, the food was good but wish the menu had maybe a little more options. The dessert was HUGE easy to share with multiple people. Service was a little slow but maybe it was an off night? I would def come back though!

Michelle B.

Yelp
First time coming here definitely coming back. I had the spicy fettuccine pasta and it was absolutely delicious perfect amount of spice and for the appetizer I had a shrimp wontons it was so good and a little crispy! My boyfriend had the French onion soup and it was very tasty and he also had the salmon which was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were very good too. I had the espresso martini and my boyfriend had the old-fashioned. The service was great and the ambience inside is very romantic. Highly recommend coming.

Kimberly G.

Yelp
My family and I visited this restaurant for the first time this week. We ordered from the Restaurant Week menu. The food did take a little longer than expected to arrive but it was absolutely delicious! (Caesar salad, burger and Nashville hot chicken sandwiches). The manager and our waiter were extremely welcoming and friendly. We would come back again.

Jeffery M.

Yelp
This is Stamford CT, 5-star American food, New Cannan group is trying to copy it, but the group can't even get their Italian food restaurant right headed up by Gino, must try ..... By Chef Michelin Rated....

LuAnn L.

Yelp
We preferred indoor seating but it was extremely noisy so we moved to an outdoor table on the road with traffic coming through, a little scary! There were no dinner rolls served before or after ordering food & drinks. Onion Soup, Salad, and Curry Mussels were good. The chicken was juicy and tasty but the Halibut was overcooked. It was an OK experience for us because it took a while for the servers to bring our food to the table, the service was acceptable but not attentive.

Nikitha S.

Yelp
Great new place in Stamford! Great cocktails, food and summer. Definitely a must try spot

Mackenzie C.

Yelp
Great ambiance! Phenomenal location! Drinks were great! We ordered the truffle fries and a Cesar salad to start both were good. Steak sandwich needs a bit more steak but it has potential. Service was a bit slow but it was a Saturday night and they were crowded.

Preston D.

Yelp
Service is good sometimes and sometimes not. Food is good, costly, but good. Oysters were fresh. Salad was good, dressing on the sweet side. The one thing I want to mention is the atmosphere, nice vibe but acoustically loud

Lourdes E.

Yelp
Went for Restaurant week and it was so good. The burger was perfection and the French onion soup had a good sweetness of the onions coming through. Our drinks were all good and our waitress was super efficient and got the kiddy meals in quickly while we enjoyed our drinks. Very nice Sunday vibe!

Lauren H.

Yelp
Music selection was amazing! It was a pretty slow night when we went and food service was a bit slow, but tasty, nonetheless. Overall, the establishment appeared to be tidy.

Peter B.

Yelp
Service was great and ambianice was nice but food was terrible, will not return , nor recommend to anyone.

Pam S.

Yelp
Great new spot in downtown Stamford - in the vein of The Smith in NYC. Food has always been great and the servers are always helpful including to those who have allergies. I do look forward to them having more gluten free options as they're still expanding.

Alexis E.

Yelp
I really would like to give this place a good review but I just cant. I understand they're a brand new place and they have to work out some kinks but my expirence was so disappointing. We had a reservation for a friend's birthday and were not sat until 45 minutes after our reservation time at a table that barely fit us. We asked several times during our wait how much longer it was going to be and the manager was so unfazed and showed zero concern about our long wait. Once we sat down it took another 30 minutes for our drinks. The food was fine at best. The entree I got was so disappointing, my pasta was all stuck together in giant clumps and my clams were all filled with sand. It was inedible. By the time we finally finished our meal it was 12:00am. Nothing about the meal was worth the wait at all. I do not think I'll be back.

Kathleen A.

Yelp
Everything I ordered was absolutely fantastic. I started with the Fig Side Car cocktail. Then, the Rock Shrimp Bao Buns. I could have stopped there and been very satisfied...but then I had the Sous Vide Chicken--the most delicious, melt-in-your-mouth chicken I have ever had. Shared the Caramel Brioche Bread Pudding for dessert and its reputation is well-earned. Even the coffee was superb. Very friendly and attentive service. Can't wait to go back and try more things!

Camila L.

Yelp
The vibes here are immaculate, a go to for a late night vibe. The manager Julio is great and had the best customer service! The drinks and food are very delightful aswell!!

Michelle M.

Yelp
Wow!!! The service was amazing!!! Bartenders on another level!!!! Everything was just on POINT! Whether you want to have a romantic night out or have drinks with your girls, this is the place to be!!! I just had appetizers, but was more than enough! 10/10 Will def be back for the vibes!

Jerome L.

Yelp
Came here twice with my wife, once for lunch and another time for dinner during restaurant week. The lunch service was fantastic, great food and atmosphere. We had a much different experience during restaurant week. First, the music was too loud. We had to shout at each other to have a conversation and the decibel level of the music was almost unbearable. I would tell them to turn the music down, I understand the vibe they are creating because of the bar but they should keep the music lower before 9:00 for those of us trying to have conversation and dinner. If we were in a large group I would find this to be okay. Our entrees were great but the French onion soup came to the table very bland and tasted burnt (however I feel like this is because of restaurant week as I've had the soup during lunch and it was great). I got the ribeye which was good and my wife got the sous vide chicken which was fantastic. Overall, I would come back for lunch but dinner service wasn't great. It was slow, our waiter forgot to bring us another drink and salt and pepper. and the overall atmosphere is too loud for a date night. Lunch service however is very good. I wish they had a different brunch menu though but overall great service, atmosphere, and food during lunch when its less busy.

Kim C.

Yelp
food was fair, rib eye ravioli had no flavor, chicken sandwiches were undercooked.Nice festive atmosphere for cocktails but don't go for the food, disappointing overall.

Jamari S.

Yelp
I don't usually post reviews but recently I had the best experience at Americano that I had to share! as a Stamford resident ive gone to so many different restaurants that open and close with in the area and it's been a long time since I've been to a place this amazing ! the ambiance, customer service and hospitality was a 10 10 10 across the board! Julio was so welcoming and attentive and made sure I was well taken care of by the staff. thank you guys so much I will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends - I see a long future ahead ! cheers

Ari S.

Yelp
RACIST RESTAURANT. This restaurant hires racist staff. If you don't want to experience discrimination, I don't recommend this restaurant. In particular the waitress Luisa refused to pour water for me or take my plates away even though she did so for the rest of my friends who were non-black. As the only black person in my friend group, we noticed that I was being treated differently from everyone else. I found it disappointing and disheartening to be treated so unfairly especially in 2024. The food was decent but I don't plan on returning to this restaurant. I don't think they deserve money to fund racist staff. I hope that the restaurant will change their staff to ensure wait staff are not racist. On the other hand, the waitress Isabela was very kind.

Yelp
This place is amazing for a new restaurant. I've had two meals here so far. Chicken Milanese and the flank steak. Both were superb. The flank steak was like a piece of filet mignon. I have never had a better flank steak in my life. Desserts are great too. Highly recommended.

Yelp
The best tasting food Stamford has to offer. I have tried every restaurant in the downtown area. Ordered the chicken with lemon jus. Perfectly seasoned. High price point but willing to pay for good food. Service was attentive, interior was clean, manager was friendly. I dined solo and didn't push the bar seating which I appreciated as I went at an off hour for a late lunch. Highly recommend!
