Great new bar downstairs from Markette.
We tried two drinks:
1. The PB&J Sazerac which was fantastic. I was reluctant to order it at first since I’m not a big Sazerac fan and have had bad PB&J flavored drinks. However, the waitress recommended it and it was indeed a great sipping cocktail.
2. We then had the Holy Mole, which was a twist on an espresso martini, and also worked well.
(Both of these got recommended by the waitress)
For food, we had the jerk club sandwich and peri peri tenders. The sandwich was rich and well executed with soft rib meat and a great spice rub and sauce. The tenders were crunchy and the peri peri sauce made them perfect as a side for drinks.
The room is big and has great acoustics. Me and my friend could easily talk and hear the background music without being bothered by a 20 people group in the other side of the room.
Overall, this is a great bar for cocktails, elevated food for catching up or a date.
