The Athenian Souvlaki & Gyros

So I ordered two chicken gyros boxes, and you know like it’s called a chicken gyros not a chips and salad gyros so you can imagine my shock when there was less than one bite of paper thin chicken in the boxes… it wasn’t like this before, chicken is not expensive, at £15 a box I would expect way better

Ordered the following via Delivery: Value meal for 2 (£20.95) - Pork Gyros Wrap - Chicken Gyros Wrap - Oregano Fries - Courgette Fritters (£1 extra) - Athenian + Gyros sauce Review: - The gyros were decent, the sauce makes up for a lot of the flavour. - The fries were soggy and cold unfortunately so not great. - The fritters slightly disappointing, again only goes well if you dunk it in sauce. Pricing: The value meal is decent, the promotions on UberEats makes up for a lot of the pricing. If paid in full then it may not be worth it based on the quality of the food

The worst ever experience, we bought 4 wraps the total was almost 40 pounds but I had some discount from Uber thanks god. Check the pictures 3 of the pita was smaller 1 of them some pieces of meat no potatoes and a bit of salad the other nothing just a spoon from what is left, also was an offer from them, the chips on under £20 that of course didn’t arrived. I called them but the shop was closed. Very unprofessional I hope they will give my money back. As Greek who I am I don’t recommend this shop same on you guys for £9,95

I liked the place and the ambience was good, there is no crowd. We ordered Greek salads, Fries Halloumi, Croquettes and Oregano Fries. Actually, all our order without meat or chicken. However, this restaurant doesn’t provide any Halal food, in general it’s good and acceptable. So, for I may, I’m not coming again not because the restaurant is bad, but because no Halal food.

Food is absolutely delicious, but they can be slow if busy or you order something that isn't ordered often - like the courgette fritters. Worth the wait though. I gave atmosphere 3 stars as the place itself has zero rizz.

Hello guys I order from you couple of times and how you can see in the pictures this is from my last order and can you explain customers why I barely seeing 2 pieces with meat and bone as well inside and I was thinking that maybe is a mistake but 3rd time and still the same we are paying 39 pounds for an order that you get massive amounts of onions an the meat you barely feel it. First time when order from your page was alright but last 2 times guys you robed us basically. Thank you very much and never again

The most average skepasti I had in my life. The meal literally came with 10 fries and there was basically no meat. It felt like I ordered an expensive pita bread. There were other places where you can get way better quality for the same price!

Tried the white city branch today as i was working nearby and have eaten at other locations. This branch is filthy inside, screen you order from have a layer of grease on them there is a body odour smell and the floor and tables are filthy too. The food was the same no care or respect given to the food or the customer. Because of this experience id never eat from athenian again. Absolutely disgraceful basically stealing from people.
