"Camelback Mountain separates Phoenix and Scottsdale, and has two of Phoenix’s most popular hiking trails: Cholla and Echo Canyon. The Attic Ale House, an eight-minute drive from the trailhead, is the best spot in the area for that beer and burger you’ve been imagining since about 10 minutes into your hike. There’s a long list of beer and wine options to drink alongside the Ivan burger (our favorite) with a view of the mountain, while debating whether the person who was hiking in jeans and flip flops ever made it to the top." - Joanna Boyle

Hands down my favorite spot in the Valley! The food menu and drink options are absolutely superb. With different specials always changing throughout the week. The best Bloody Marys in town. And the staff is ALWAYS so welcoming. Being on the second story, you have the most fascinating views of Camelback Mountain. Highly recommend a sunset dinner on the patio for the perfect ambiance!

My husband and I needed some lunch and ended up here. What a great decision! The beer selection is good, as far as beer I only like sour and gose, they had two options but also have a cocktail menu. But the food was fantastic! I got the prime rib sliders and truffle fries and my husband ordered the wings. The sliders we definitely the best food we've had anywhere in a long time! We sat on the patio which was nicely shaded and had misters all around. Great music and service to boot. We will absolutely be going back!

The bartender was great! Always asking if we were ok and if we needed anything. They accommodated us and changed the channel to what we wanted to watch. Ordered the pizza and it was very good. Not overly greasy (half pepperoni and half sausage). And the the wings were slightly overdone and dry but the dry rub was nice! Their beer selection has always been top notch, plenty of choices. I've always enjoyed this place.

First time here and we got a different experience. Our son joined the Phoenix Firebirds rugby club this year and they have been sponsored by The Attic for many years now. When the club comes as a group they are seated downstairs in the sandwich shop and get a dedicated serving team. The sponsorship and special treatment had me sold already, but the food and drinks and service are what will keep me coming back. The GM was our server and the food and drinks came out so fast. He knows what he's doing and had quick great recommendations for beer, cider and food. I loved the POG cider, the brie and pancetta bruschetta and the prime rib sliders. Our club had a great time and it was a fun first visit

Not impressed. Very uncomfortable experience. From having to climb up 3 sets of stairs (see photos) to being sat at the bar with the beer taps in my face (bartender had to bend over and look through the bottom of these to greet me and take my order). Other guests at the bar aren’t friendly like other places. Music is incredibly loud and nightclub style. Very loud in general in there and dining area is not appealing. Food was not great either. Ivan Burger was overcooked (they didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked) and very dry served in an odd bowl if you don’t want the bun. Hard to cut with that bowl (see photo). Fries weren’t bad, most of them were also overcooked. Charged extra for a side of Ranch. There’s a nice upper level deck that would be great with cooler weather. That’s probably the best thing they have going. All in all not a pleasant experience. Definitely won’t be back. Definitely not for anyone who isn’t able to climb stairs (see photos). 3 sets of stairs.

I want to give them a higher score but can't. The service is the big draw back here. I sat for just shy of 20 minutes without one server even saying hello. There were 4 running around. I could tell whose section I was in and she looked at me three times and ignored me, even when I obviously had no drink in front of me, and on multiple occasions turned her back on me when helping the people right next to me. Thankfully a server from another section noticed that I had been sitting without a drink and food for a while and took the time to get me taken care of. I'm grateful for this gentleman because I was ready to leave. With as many servers as they have, this shouldn't have happened. The food was decent, nothing crazy, but good. The beer is on the pricier side, especially when you can go down the street to a brewery and get some great local beer for the same if not less. I want to come back and give them another shot but I don't want to sit for another 20 minutes before getting served again. I'm torn.

Love this place! Attic Crush Burger is perfect just the way it is. Wedge salad was big and delicious. Their blue cheese dressing is amazing. Great food. Great service!
