"If you are looking for the perfect flat white, the Aussie Grind is the spot. While getting your caffeine fix, enjoy the Bubble N Squeak from the all-day breakfast menu. It’s got baby potatoes, mushrooms, tomatillos, grape tomatoes, spinach, and caramelized onions, which are pan-fried and placed on toast, then topped with feta and a sunny side-up egg." - Eater Staff

My wife and I decided to give this place a try. The wait was about 20 minutes, but since it was only five minutes from our hotel, we opted to order takeout. Despite how busy it was, the staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to answer all our questions. After placing our order, they told us we could wait in the car, and they’d bring the food out when it was ready—super convenient! We tried the Eggs Benny and Angie’s Savory Mince—both were fantastic. I had a drip coffee, and my wife went with a French vanilla latte; both were delicious. I also grabbed the Perth juice, which was very good and refreshing. For dessert, we had something I can’t quite remember the name of, but it was also really tasty! Even as takeout, the food was fresh and flavorful. We’ll definitely be back. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait—but it’s absolutely worth it.

3 of us tried the chicken Parmesan, gnocchi, sweet potato fries, and cappuccinos. Everything was super fresh and seriously tasty! The gnocchi was a little on the oily side for being a salad, but still delicious. We ate way too much (no regrets), and the bill came to around $80 — not bad at all for how much we ate! The vibe? Super chill. It feels more like a cozy coffee shop than a full-on restaurant — at first, you might not even realize they serve food. But they do, and it’s worth it. Think beachy, laid-back, low-key atmosphere. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal without the fuss.

If you’re looking for the best Aussie-inspired lunch spot in Texas, this is it. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I’d stepped into a little slice of Melbourne warm vibes, relaxed atmosphere, and food that speaks for itself. I started with their green tea, and let me tell you it was absolutely perfect. Smooth, aromatic, and brewed just right. It wasn’t just tea, it was a calming moment in a cup. Then came the grilled chicken and pesto pasta, and wow it melted in my mouth. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor, perfectly complemented by a vibrant, homemade pesto that was fresh, nutty, and rich without being heavy. Every bite felt like comfort and craftsmanship combined. But the real surprise? Banana bread with cream and raspberry reduction. It wasn’t just dessert it was a finale. Warm, moist banana bread paired with airy cream and that tart, sweet raspberry drizzle… it blew me away. This place isn’t just a meal it’s an experience. Whether you’re Aussie or not, don’t miss this gem. I’ll be coming back probably tomorrow.

Breakfast Pizza is far from my usual café breakfast meal. And even stranger is that a restaurant named Aussie Grind would have breakfast pizza on the menu. My wife and I both ordered it. It was crazy good. It is a generous sized flat bread, loaded with apple wood smoked bacon, cheddar, one fried egg and BBQ sauce. A delicious combination of flavors. Add variety to your breakfast meal. Try it. A big iced mocha for me and a hot Flat White for my wife. This is a very comfortable upscale coffee shop. The service is fast and friendly. It is just a few blocks from the Home 2 Suites. It gets busy in there. We caught it just right, but by the time we left it was packed.

The Aussie Grind is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and perfect for a relaxing brunch or coffee date. The food is always fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor—especially the avocado toast and their signature pancakes! The coffee is top-notch, with a rich, smooth taste that shows real care in preparation. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Whether you're going for breakfast, lunch, or just a quick coffee, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Google
I’ve had this place on my radar for a while now, but finally got the chance to go recently. Solid 5/5! Spectacular food and super attentive service! The vibe is just right, and everyone in our group left feeling totally satisfied. Everything was fresh and delicious, so I'll definitely be coming back. They open early too, which is perfect for early birds.

We went for a quick coffee and dint expect we would order so much from the menu! Great coffee, amazing smoothie and their traditional chocolate dessert was delicious! The ambiance was cozy and clean. Very friendly staff . We are definitely going back.

Google
I got the prawn linguine and the Aussie iced coffee—both were incredible. The pasta had just the right amount of spice, super flavorful without being overwhelming, and the presentation was spot on. The coffee? Easily some of the best I’ve ever had—smooth, rich, and just the right balance of sweet and strong. The rest of the table ordered the salad, chicken and brie, and chicken sanga, and everyone was impressed. Everything came out looking beautiful and tasted just as good. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Yelp
This place lives up to the hype. The vibe is bright and chill -- felt like we stepped into a beach café, but in Frisco. We came for brunch and ended up staying longer than we planned. * Smashed avo toast was fresh and had a little kick from the chili oil -- the sourdough was legit. * Pancakes were soft and fluffy without being too sweet. * Coffee? Strong. Smooth. I got a flat white and already craving it again. The staff was friendly and didn't rush us even though it was packed. Definitely a weekend go-to now.

Yelp
(Chris Helmsworth voiceover) The vibe is hidden cafe right on Preston. Perfect for a quick dinner mission. Darvan warmly greeted us Aussie Iced Coffee. Ice cream. Extra shots. Hot Chai. Nuanced. Delectable! The Aussie Parmy was epic! So satisfying. Rosemary a gourmet touch. G'day! Would order everything again! Thanks, Darvan! Woohoo!

Yelp
I haven't had grilled halloumi since I left Melbourne and this place reminded me absolutely of any higher end breakfast cafe along an Australian beach. We tried a flat white as well as a honey and banana smoothie along with an avocado toast and rocky road French toast. My avo toast came with grilled sweet corn, pickled red onion slices, arugula and a crème beet sauce. Wow! Everything was beautifully plated. It's busy on a weekend but the service was fast and friendly. I'll definitely try this place again anytime I want to "staycation" and feel like treating myself.

Yelp
All I can say is wow! This felt like an exclusive brunch spot that is a MUST visit if you're in Frisco. The food is fantastic! The Aussie Grind breakfast reminded me of a similar dish I had in the UK but was on another level with the chutney jam and fresh local bread - YUM! The cappuccino also went above and beyond with a nice chocolate powdered layer on top. It was delicious! The restaurant does feel a bit congested with limited small tables that are very close to your neighbors, and you have to raise your voice quite a bit over the loud music. But, I got over it, because what really made our 1st time experience here great was our server, Grace. She had such a pleasant personality that could make anyone have an amazing start off to their day. Overall, with such good service, diverse menu selection and quality food, I would highly recommend this spot!

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The waffles were perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries that burst with flavor. The scrambled eggs were light and delicious, and the coffee was rich and perfectly brewed. The presentation was stunning, making every bite a delight. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with attentive service that made me feel right at home. The quality of the food and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast or brunch. Five stars all the way!

Yelp
Came in for a Saturday brunch and was able to get seated with no wait. This place is tiny and get loud and packed so just be aware ! I really enjoyed the food and coffee here. I got their 'bowl' chai latte and the smoked salmon Benedict . Everything was delicious. The service was great and they didn't mind that my friend and I stayed past our meal to keep on chatting. Would definitely come back !

Yelp
The Aussie Grind has partnered with The Miracle for another year of Christmas pop! Enjoy their cute decor, holiday cocktails served in cute mugs, and delicious food. Holiday drinks are served starting at 4PM. Breakfast and lunch menu is served ALL DAY. (4.5/5) Hot Buttered Rum Served hot and made with Jamaican rum, oat milk, spiced butter, and other spices, this one was strong and delicious. Recommend for their holiday cocktail! It comes in a cute Santa mug. (5/5) Long Macchiato An Australian specialty, it combines the intensity of a double espresso shot with the softness of texturized milk. It excelled with its robust espresso flavor, luxuriously creamy milk, and a serving temperature that was nothing short of ideal. (5/5) Prawn Linguini My absolute favorite entree from Aussie Grind! The shrimp is always cooked perfectly and the garlic buttery pasta drizzled with lemon is to die for. (4/5) Angie's Savoury Mince It has so much flavor and I highly recommend if you are a ground beef lover. The beef is simmered with tomato sauce (ketchup), vegetables, spices served over crunchy sourdough bread.

Yelp
This place is gorgeous on the inside. Bright and happy in the morning. There's always folks already set up to work or having meetings or prayer groups neat 7am when I stop in. I've not tried any of the food items yet but the coffee is STRONG, YALL!! Aussies are not messing around! I've learned my lesson and ask for extra oat or almond milk because I'm a wuss and won't make it through half a cup without feeling like my eyeballs are gunna bounce put of my head. This is a good quality coffee house. I stop here once a week for an iced latte and the owner or person who works early shift is incredibly nice. It does get a little backed up the busier it is but this is all hand pressed and freshly crafted for every patron. Stop in and give them a try. Get ready to be awake AWAKE

Yelp
The food is very good. Fried prawns . Once again best coffee in north Texas. The service is 5 star. And the ambiance is relaxed and up beat.

Yelp
Well, the verdict is in! Aussie Grind deserves all the hype and praise! We ordered the fish and chips, Canberra omelet, and Pav Smash, which were stellar. The fish and chips were delicious! Served with their in-house tartar sauce, which was lip smackingly good, the fish was delicately coated and fried to perfection, keeping it tender and moist. The rosemary potatoes were soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The Canberra omelet was excellently balanced and fluffy. When cut through, you see the egg curds, and it is scrumptious. And last but by no means least, the Pav smash was so unique that I must ask everyone to try it at least once. The in-house berry compote and the hand-whipped cream just took it to another level I will for Sure revisiting to try their breakfast pizza and much such deliciousness that awaits us at The Aussie Grind Oh, and the staff were so amiable and excellent! Made the experience even more enjoyable

Yelp
The Aussie Grind collaborated with the Miracle for the holiday season! The service was prompt, and the waitress walked us through different coffee and food options! The ambiance was fantastic, the place was packed and there was an inflatable kangaroo outside, in theme with the name of the place. This place has been on Yelp's Top 100 list throughout the years, and I can see why. Got the iced Aussie latte and loved it!! Have to come back here to try the Eggs Benny!

Yelp
We haven't been here for years. But the ambience, foods, service haven't changed! Everything was still fabulous, and the foods were as great as we remembered. Our waiter was very attentive. We ordered a lot of foods and everything was amazing - pasta with shrimp (big shrimps), pancakes, salt and pepper fried shrimps. chicken salad,... Even the photos looked great lol

Yelp
Came for brunch with a couple of friends, and it was lively on the weekend but the wait time was only around 5 minutes. Service and food were alright. I ordered the T.A.G BIG BREAKY (Applewood smoked bacon, cage free eggs, pork & sage sausage link, avocado, roasted field mushrooms, blistered cherry tomatoes, house chutney that tasted like jam, and sourdough toast), which sounded like it would be a lot but I was able to finish everything and I wasn't that hungry. Hot sauces (e.g. Cholula) were available upon request.
google avatar

Yelp
The Aussie Grind is excellent place to satisfy your taste! They have nice variety of food for you to indulge and experience Aussie feel. As fellow Aussie myself, this feels like home! I love coming to it every time. The service is always on their toes and ready to serve every-time! Perfect for a date, family and hangout with friends whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Yelp
This was a Sunday brunch visit for us, and the place was busy. We're out on waitlist and soon enough, we got a text about our turn. Our delightful server offered us suggestion on food and also bragged a little about their coffee. I ordered cappuccino first and then some food. This cappuccino was very different from what I had experienced sp far and our server did clarify that it's the Aussie way. It came in a beautiful ceramic cup, topped with chocolate dusting. The flavor of coffee combined with chocolate did present a unique experience, so I can't grade it in my usual manner. The 2nd coffee was small latte which I thoroughly enjoyed, I'll possibly order that first next time. Regarding food, avocado toast was tasty with not too heavy on toppings but still impactful on overall flavor.
google avatar

Yelp
Staff was friendly, accommodating, and made suggestions (as it was our first time here). We live in Rockwall, Texas and I wish this spot was also in Rockwall so I could come more frequently.

Yelp
Food is ok good, some what smaller portions of food, had a regular coffee, it was just coffee nothing spectacular, got cold quick because they have the cold air blasting, and it's only 1 speed, and they cannot slow it down, atleast that's what they told me. The food is aimed at healthy eating, flavor combinations are strange but work. Their highlight was their banana walnut bread it was great. The wife loved the chai latte she said it was the best she had, it had a strong clove taste to me. Not sure I will be back. The place gets packed, but probably because it's a small place. Not bad food just not what I was expecting..The servers were great and attentive.

Yelp
ive had the best mocha latte ever. this place is amazing! def check it out when you're in frisco.
google avatar

Yelp
Casual, cute brunch place that's got great service and food. When you go at the right time (weekdays or 9:30 Saturday) there is minimal wait. They have wide selection of drinks, which I like, and their breakfast menu is very unique. It's fun to try out their menu. Some dishes did not have the most amazing flavor but I like the different combinations of their fresh ingredients.
google avatar

Sierra O.

Yelp
It's very busy and can feel a bit crowded, but the coffee and food is amazing! Staff is very attentive, even when it's busy! The cappuccino comes with chocolate powder and I highly recommend the banana walnut bread with the whipped cream and berries!!
google avatar

Mitra K.

Yelp
Great service and absolutely INCREDIBLE food! I can eat their mince toast and raspberry jam every day of my life.
google avatar

Tom S.

Yelp
Cute place with cute drinks. I really liked the vibes and the name of the place. The drinks are around $9-$12. Seems like a good brunch spot or afternoon snack. We went closer to night for dessert and got some food as well. The food was good and felt like a good place to come with friends or to study. A different type of coffee place with some unique menu items.
google avatar

Khiem H.

Yelp
I did not have the breakfast so the coffee is what I based it on. The coffee was ok but the restaurant was packed. The staff were friendly and the looks casual. There were quite a few families in the restaurant. I'd come back to try their breakfast.
google avatar

Damien D.

Yelp
Great vibe and great food. The place is a must stop. You'll feel like family the minute you walk in with the great service. Coffee is delicious.

Yelp
It had been a very long time since I last dined here. Unfortunately, a group of bikers decided to have breaky here as well. Fortunately, they were dining outside and the interior had plenty of empty tables. They appeared to be very busy. Initially, the employee who delivered the water mentioned someone else would be my waitress. A few minutes later, she offered to take my beverage and food order. As I had done previously, I ordered a flat white and the Big Breaky with the eggs as shown on the menu (poached). When another waitress served the coffee, I asked for Splenda. When she had accidentally given me Stevia, I requested Splenda again. She decided to explain how the restaurant does not have Splenda but something similar. Rather than explain that she had given me "not Stevia but something similar," I decided to keep quiet. Eventually, my waitress served the breakfast. Although it was a lot of food, I ended up finishing everything on the plate. I left satiated especially after finishing the flat white. Although the food was about the same, the service was not since my initial visit. Today's experience made me miss my favorite cafe in Darlinghurst.
google avatar

Josh S.

Yelp
The holiday miracle pop at Aussie Grind was so good! It was the exact festive experience we were looking for. For the tiki drink lovers, the Yippee Ki Yay was a rum Christmas special. The hot buttered rum was definitely warm and cozy. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fish and chips were good as well. The service was A+ and super friendly. We gotta come back to try the other drinks before the Christmas season ends.
google avatar

Sam C.

Yelp
The food is good but the AC in this place is kept really low. It felt like a freezer. I truly enjoyed the food but the thermostat is kept at a temp that is not mindful of people who are eating sitting without much activity. The vents are right above where people sit.
google avatar

Conner S.

Yelp
I've driven by Aussie Grind a few times and wanted to check it out. Sadly, they don't have a drive-thru, so I've never stopped by. I ordered multiple drinks & food options via Uber Eats because I was so intrigued. Overall, I loved it; it all tasted very flavorful & fresh. Some recipes were quite wild, but I loved the Australian flare. I am not sure if some of these recipes are actually used in AUS, but it's cool either way. Breakfast Gnocchi is a brilliant idea & delicious. Idk how I feel about putting marshmallows & fruit candy on top of French toast, but it was fun to try once. And the ice cream in coffee is kinda, eh. But absolutely recommend trying Aussie Grind & hopefully, I can stop by again one day.

Yelp
Fresh and delicious! The staff is amazing! Try everything on the menu, you will not be sorry!

Yelp
OMG! Finally after living in Frisco for almost 2 years, I decided to give this place a try! And boy, it was amazing! From the decor to the coffee to the food to the amazing people, everything was top notch! They have some really great options for everyone - Lovely avocado toast, salmon bagel, and their bubble and squeak ( my favorite of all *_*) It's not like your typical breakfast/ brunch places, this place does have some customize food options that you won't typically get! The prices are slightly higher but you do get a good portion. Lastly, don't forget to try their coffee. Being an Australian themed place, I obviously went for their "Flat White" and it was smooth. Loved the size and the overall creaminess. Be cautious that this place does get crowded on the weekends so come atleast half an hour early from your desired breakfast or brunch time so you are not waiting hungry :) I'm coming back Baby!

Yelp
Aussie Grind is a cute coffee shop/cafe! The service was great and quick. I tried the matcha latte and could tell that they use good quality matcha!
google avatar

Yelp
A Fresh Grind spot for breaky lunch or dinner. Service was great and the staff has a great sense of humor. Music was upbeat and not too loud. Nice and quint almost hole in the wall feel. Very clean! Food was great, I had a bite or sip of everyone's food!

Yelp
ORDER Iced Matcha - Overall the drink was not super sweet and was pretty milky. There wasn't really strong matcha flavor throughout and pretty mid overall. Breaky Gnocchi - This dish has hand rolled potato gnocchi, a bunch of spinach with other veggies, bacon, and poached eggs. I am not much of a veggies girlie but this was pretty good. It was a well-seasoned dish though a bit on the oilier side. The gnocchi was crispy and golden on the outside then had a doughy consistency inside. They also gave nice portions of bacon which made it taste yummy. The Chicken Sanga - This sandwich was super delicious. It was a sweet bun with panko chicken breast, spicy mayo, and crispy caramelized onions. The onions were absolutely divine. The chicken was crispy and the fries it came with were also super crispy even if they were thicker cuts of potato! Would definitely recommend this lunch dish! Prawn Linguine - Linguine served with prawn, buttered, and tossed with cherry tomatoes. My mom had this dish and she said the flavor was there and good, it was just a bit on the saltier and heavier side. Chicken Penne Pesto - This dish was penne pasta with pesto, spinach, and parmesan. I think the pesto was given in a bit excess because the dish was super salty which took away from my dad's enjoyment of the dish. However, in all honesty, it could be because we are used to less salty foods culturally so this could be a bit exaggerated. VIBES The place was pretty crowded around lunch time. The ceilings are pretty tall which give the restaurant a more open feel. The aesthetic is very wooden, planty, and modern. There are lots of live plants which give the place a fresh feel. Seating is mostly wooden tables, metal chairs, and long wooden booth bench. Clean throughout and nicely decorated. Great for catch-ups and casual brunch. SERVICE Service was nice. We came when it was crowded so had a 20 minute wait when we came around 1:30 PM on a Saturday. When we came in, they had a little sign that said "G-Day" with my name. The food did take a bit longer to come out but other than that it was good. Everyone was nice. Also, just something that we noticed was that the silverware was super shiny without any water marks.

Yelp
I believe Jordan was our server during our recent visit to the Aussie Grind. I wanted my husband to experience the delicious breakfast here and guess what? It was still as delicious as ever. Banana bread? Get both chocolate AND walnut options. Just do it. Avocado toast: Jordan suggested adding some crumbled pancetta on top for a crispy finish. Wow was that a smart decision! It was even more delicious than before. Everything was fantastic! Love it here.
google avatar

Lady A.

Yelp
Can't remember the names of the stuff we ate. But it was good. The bread especially. The gnocchi dish was good but I'm not a cold breakfast eater. The gnocchi and egg hot but the salad was a salad. Nothing really fancy. I'll order something else next time. The coffee was enjoyable. The service was pretty quick as far as seating and placing an order. It does get crowded fast. Plan accordingly. I don't have something to compare the decor to but it's cute. Giving cafe and holiday vibes.

Yelp
I love brunch and so I'm always looking for a great spot that offers that combination of breakfast and lunch. this spot was a hidden jewel that I discovered with such excitement. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly. Service was prompt and accurate.
google avatar

Chinwe N.

Yelp
We came here with a small group for brunch and had a great time! The place is popular and stays packed so be ready to grab a coffee and wait outside or in your car for a bit. This review is really for Jordan who made the entire experience fun and memorable!! She knew the menu backwards and front and recommended all the delicious things we tried. Definitely worth checking out if you can. Ask for Jordan, you won't regret it!

Yelp
I stopped by this restaurant for late breakfast and I'm glad I did! I had a cappuccino and the breakfast pizza. Both were great. My only comment on the pizza is that I wish it came pre sliced. Service was very helpful although it seems a bit chaotic at times, and the restaurant and cafe itself are super cute. They have a nice patio as well!
google avatar

Alice L.

Yelp
Ordered the big breaky & matcha latte. The food & drink were average but the service was good. It does get crowded & loud since its not very spacious.

Sara E.

Yelp
So delicious! Tried lunch for the first time and the salmon with salt & pepper potatoes were delicious! Our son loves the hotcake with icecream and cotton candy (fairy floss). Daughter always gets the "Sydney " juice and eggs benny.
google avatar

Kelley B.

Yelp
Small but love the food! One of our favorite not chain places in Frisco. Wish there were more spots like this around to enjoy! If you go on weekend, expect a wait due to size of dining area.
google avatar

Kate B.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! They make the best mocha around and I'm excited to try more of their food next time because the Angie's savory mice toast was so delicious and hit the spot. It's always decorated so fun in there especially for the holidays! The servers are always so nice even when they're packed which they often are because they're so good!
google avatar

Dawn W.

Yelp
Food was simply amazing! Art and delicious. Coffee was strong not for some, but definitely for me. Vegan and vegetarian options that aren't bland. 10/10, coming back next weekend to try some other options. Oh of course the service was swell! Welcoming, accommodating and all smiles from the whole staff. Vibe was quaint and inviting loved the seating and Aussie atmosphere. Definitely check this place out yall.

Yelp
I found this place by doing a yelp search. Happy that i was up early today, as I usually sleep in. The Aussie Grind may have changed my mind about that. I started out by ordering a cappuccino, it was absolutely amazing. No seriously, the best Cappuccino I've ever had. My server Jordan had great energy, and phenomenal service. Overall my experience today was fantastic. I will definitely be returning.

Ruby P.

Yelp
My sister and I had a great lunch here! This place does feel Australian, they have nice decors and atmosphere. I got breakfast pizza and banana espresso smoothie. Both were delicious, flavorful and nicely made. I especially loved my pizza. It tasted like homemade and was close to what I would make for myself at home. They have many food options. I'd revisit this place!

Yelp
This was a nice new place to try out. We went on a Saturday around 11ish, so it was really busy. Our wait was about 35min. I feel the menu is somewhat limited, most things are bread based. I got the breakfast pizza and it was really good. The staff seemed overwhelmed, again, it was really busy, but I feel like I didn't receive the best experience. Probably not going back, not because the food was bad or because I had a bad experience, it simply wasn't anything special.
