"Located on Peachtree Parkway in Cumming, the Bagel Hole opened during the first summer of the pandemic, but it’s been doing brisk business ever since and has become the source for tried-and-true New York-style bagels and bagel sandwiches in the area. Expect traditional bagel flavors here as well as bialy on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The shop offers schmears, including jalapeno cheddar, chive scallion, and pimento cheddar, as well as whitefish and chicken salads for topping. Try the Hole’y Pastrami sandwich on a choice of bagels made with pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing." - Beth McKibben, Molly Harris

"The first thing you should know about Bagel Hole is that under no circumstances can you order a toasted bagel here. They simply will not make it for you. The bagels are so fresh and so good that to toast them would be an insult. Even though the service is pretty brusque and the line can stretch out into the street on weekends, this cash-only spot is still one of our favorite places to get bagels in the five-boroughs. They’re on the smaller side, and the folks here don’t put an entire pound of cream cheese on a single bagel, which makes for a more enjoyable experience overall. " - Carina Finn

SerpAPI
Visited here because they sponsor South Forsyth High Schools Football Program and instantly fell in love with their fresh bagels! They make the best breakfast bagel sandwiches, and have a huge variety of bagels & cream cheeses to choose from. Staff is excellent and always happy to see you walk in the door! It’s our favorite bagel place!!

SerpAPI
I ordered double toasted bagel but it looked burnt. I drove back to the store and showed it to the store staff. She said that this is what double toasted bagel looks like here. Hmmm... However, the store looked clean, staffs were attentive, and plain cream cheese was good.

Great bagel options and unique bagel sandwiches. Updated….some more pics a few months later. Fav is everything toasted with lox sandwich with capers, tomato, red onion, veggie cream cheese. The best.

Definitely one of our fave go-to bfast. Maybe I am also biased bc i love colors and their rainbow bagel just makes me smile every morning I have it. I am so happy that one of my friends (TT) is willing to go pick us some bfast up. Isn’t she the bestest💞we love all great food.

I absolutely love The Bagel Hole! I have been coming here since they opened. They are so friendly, great atmosphere, and the food is always amazing!!!

SerpAPI
Love this new bagel shop! Highly recommend the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. So so good and it's absolutely massive. I could only eat half of it! Love the rainbow bagels too! Can't wait to come back!

Krystal T

SerpAPI
This is one our favorite breakfast spots! Love the pastrami bagel sandwich on the bialy bagel. Delicious! Very lean pastrami…just how I like it. Staff are friendly and fast, despite being super busy. A must try!

SerpAPI
What an awesome bagel! Food here is fantastic and was able to talk to the owner as I was waiting for my bagel to be prepared. What a great guy! If you are looking for a quality breakfast, this is the place you should go!

Yelp
A good, local bagel shop. LARGE bagels, soft and chewy, and shmears that seem hand-churned with spots of regular cream cheese, which was quite refreshing to taste with natural "human touch". Could be a regular stop-by for the company catering for sho. Good job, the Bagel Hole! Keep doing good -

Krystal N.

Yelp
I would give this place a 4.5 if I could! The vibes definitely remind me of a New York bagel spot, just friendlier. They even have Taylor Ham!! The bagels are HUGE. They are perfectly chewy and they season both sides, not just the top. The cream cheese is rich and whatever flavor you get, they don't skimp on it. My only complaint - I may not get it toasted by them next time. Or maybe I can ask them to only toast it lightly - if you let the bagels get fully toasted, and they have seasonings (onion, garlic, everything, etc) parts of the seasonings get burnt and that isn't the most pleasant. Will definitely come back and recommend!!

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch. This is a very small bagel place (only 4 tables inside and a few more out front) This is a counter service establishment. They have bagels in a case for mix & match purchase as well as breakfast & lunch menus. We had lunch. It wasn't crowded so we walked right up and ordered. i ordered the Skinny on multi grain bread and my husband ordered the turkey sandwich on a bagel. Both were served with a small cup of pasta salad and I made mine a combo with a drink and chips. My sandwich was tasty. The bread was a little over toasted but not inedible. The pasta salad had a nice pickle (?) flavor giving it a sort of slightly sweet taste. My husband enjoyed the turkey bagel. It had a generous amount of turkey. The bagel was chewy and soft. I would like to try bagels (carry out).

Lauren E.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch and was very satisfied! Got the Rachel turkey Reuben on an onion bagel and it was super filling. I ordered the "combo" which includes chips and a drink but didn't touch the chips. The bagel also comes with a small side of yummy pasta salad so you really don't need the combo... unless you're super hungry. Small indoor seating area but lots of outside seating when the weather is nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will return!

Beth D.

Yelp
The Bagel Hole has the biggest, gooiest, most delightful bagels! I get these every time my bits have friends over! So many sweet and savory bagels AND interesting cream cheeses

Tiffany S.

Yelp
This unique bagel spot offers such a wide variety of bagels, breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffees- oh and cream cheese. SO many different types of cream cheese! I opted for a rainbow bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese while Justin got a Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich on an asiago bagel! We also got a cinnamon roll to share. Everything was so good! The bagels are huge! We both could only eat one half of the bagel and half of the cinnamon roll. Everything was very fresh and everyone was very friendly. Stop in and try one of their bagels- you won't regret it!

Tony B.

Yelp
Easily the best bagels anywhere near Metro Atlanta. Not only are they the best, but probably also the biggest. Staff is incredibly friendly. I eat here a lot and I'm always impressed by how much fun it seems like everyone is having. Highly recommend to anyone for breakfast or lunch.

Bridget C.

Yelp
I was in town for a baseball tournament about 15 minutes away. I passed another bagel shop to get here bc the other shop didn't have garlic bagels. While I was waiting on my bagels the owner was walking around offering samples of the lemon cream cheese he'd just put together which I then had put on a blueberry bagel and when I say it was DIVINE, I MEAN IT WAS DIVINE! Worth checking out!

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
Great bagels. Hard to find poppy seed bagels in GA and their's are good. Very friendly place

Jessica G.

Yelp
My egg bagel was sweet and didn't have the taste I was expecting but I thought the variety was fun and the bagels are HUGE. Loved to see how busy they were and overall think it's a place I will definitely continue to visit in the future.

Yvette P.

Yelp
My friend/realtor introduced me to this place. The bagels are absolutely delicious! I sometimes find that a bagel can be a bit heavy, absolutely NOT the case with the Bagel Hole. Their bagels are quite large, but somehow light. My kids LOVE the rainbow bagels, while my husband is partial to the jalapeño and I love the cheddar. Honestly haven't had a bagel I haven't loved! And their breakfast sandwiches are SO GOOD!!! Their bacon is perfection! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, the owner has been there every time I have gone, and he is very nice! The atmosphere is casual and welcoming too! I just Love this place.

Valeria L.

Yelp
Rude Rude Rude staff - over priced and hard heavy dough bagels almost $16 for bagel and soda + long waiting to be severed by rude owners - never again - no thanks.

Anne Marie B.

Yelp
A bagel should not cost $14! Holy moley. I got a bagel, egg and cream cheese. On the menu board, that combo is $7.75. But apparently because I wanted chive cream cheese, that's $3.25. Still not sure how we got to $14. Yes, I did get a soft drink. Of course, I tipped because I always do. So my bagel and soda was $16. Never again

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
Absolutely divine! Huge, homemade bagels that have the perfect consistency. They have all the classic flavors to choose from and a large menu of different sandwiches, too. I went with the Asiago cheese bagel toasted with plain cream cheese. Perfection!!!

G L.

Yelp
First timer. Finally got the chance to grab food here today. It is super cute and ultra clean! Everyone helping me today was also kind and extremely helpful. And they have a really good menu w enough options for most folks but also not SO many options you get overwhelmed. I had the tuna on cheddar bagel and grabbed my daughter a chocolate chip bagel. Also had a side of macaroni salad. I'm no New Yorker but I DO know my carbs well. And bagels have always been a fave of mine. Their bagels are large and chewy. A great texture!! And the Cheddar bagel I got would have been great on its own or w any of their cream cheese options too. The tuna salad was fresh tasting and had the bite of sweet relish that hit the spot. Not too sweet or too heavy on the mayo either. Goldilocks for sure. The side of macaroni salad was crunchy and tasty, paired nicely with my lunch. My daughter loved the chocolate chip bagel, and as picky as that child can be, that says a lot. My son had already told us about this spot when he discovered it during drivers classes. And he loved it-so I hate it took us this long to pop over and try it out. But so glad we finally did. We will def be back!!

Yelp
Was hungry and put in breakfast. I found the. Angel home. Let me tell you, do not sleep on this place. Run... don't walk. I have never in my life had a bagel that was so light and fluffy. It was absolutely delicious. My mom got a sesame bagel with cream cheese and they don't skimp on the cream cheese. I will definitely be coming back here when I'm home.

S. M.

Yelp
Delicious bagel sandwich, cute little bagel shop. It was busy when I stopped in Sunday morning. They made the sandwich fast and taste was great! A little pricey however the sandwich was big and filling. Will come back again when I'm in the area.

Jane Y.

Yelp
The best bagels I have had in a long time. Bagels these days lack flavor and substance and are much smaller than they used to be. These are like the good ol day bagels I had growing up. They ran out of asiago but I got the cheddar with a side of cream cheese. Delish!! I also ordered the chocolate chip and french toast. I prefered the chocolate chip which is a childhood favorite. I was a big fan of the one with lots of chocolate chips. Most places skimp on the chips or put small ones in. I wouldn't mind paying more for more chocolate chips. These bagels were soft/fluffy while still maintaining that bagel chew!

Cristina M.

Yelp
This is a little spot in Cumming tucked in a strip mall about a mile from Biscuit Barn. We came in on a Sunday at noon and there was a line out the door (this is a small space) and people sitting all outside. The order taker was very nice and helpful with the menu. We ordered and it only took about 5 minutes to order and have our food and drinks. The Food: Rainbow bagel (toasted) with strawberry schmear. Really great for Instagram, but I would not get it toasted. The schmear moved all over the place and was a mess! The bagel itself was a fine doughy plain bagel and the cream cheese was sweetened cream cheese, but not artificial tasting. Iced French Vanilla Latte - it was average and super foamy - I would get it again if I was here, but would not go out of my way just for the coffee. The variety of bagels were fun from your plain, everything, garlic, poppy, egg, cheese and so much more. We will be back for a bagel fix if we are in Cumming. Next to try - bagel breakfast sandwiches like eggs, cheese, sausage, bacon, etc.

Mhailene M.

Yelp
I love this cute little bagel shop!! Service is so friendly and helpful. I chose the rainbow bagel roll. It has such pretty pastel colors for Easter. I got it toasted as the lady suggested and also some strawberry cream cheese. Both were absolutely fantastic!!!! The bagel was chewy and tasted fresh. The cream cheese. Wow. It's so delicious!!! You have to try it. I'd like to go back and try their breakfast bagels or other cream cheese spreads as well. Not a huge place so only a few spots to sit inside out our. Plenty of parking but it's just a nice cute little spot

Melody Y.

Yelp
So good! Just as good as the top rated bagel spots in NYC. The bagels are the perfect consistency when toasted and they are GENEROUS with the amount of cream cheese slathered. Parking is easy and staff is friendly. It can get busy during peak hours like weekend mornings. There's a few indoor seats as well as outdoor seats!

Kayla M.

Yelp
I love a good bacon egg and cheese on a bagel! So when I found this spot (and saw the rainbow bagel!) I knew i had to come. Staff was super cool and friendly. They have a decent bagel selection, the bagels also to note are huge! I already knew I wanted the rainbow bagel, so I got that with turkey egg and cheese. Absolutely delicious. I wish this place was closer to me so I could come on a regular.

Rania R.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious bagels. They're so big and fluffy! I like my bagel with cream cheese and all the veggie toppings. It makes the most delicious veggie bagel sandwich. Highly recommend checking this bagel spot out. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a drive through. Otherwise, 10/10

Susan L.

Yelp
Best bagel sandwiches I have EVER had! It's family owned & the service is always excellent. The ambiance is relaxed. Def recommend! 10/10!

Lauren B.

Yelp
If you're on the fence on where to go for breakfast/brunch, get down and RUN to the Bagel Hole!!! It's THAT good. Sad we live 5 hours away, I'd be here everyday.

Kristen T.

Yelp
So happy we finally tried The Bagel Hole today. We ordered and paid online with ease. There are two dedicated parking spots right out front for picking up, although the lot was pretty empty when we visited on a Sunday morning. We even got an email when our order was ready which was nice. Our food was ready sooner than anticipated only a few minutes after we submit it. We decided on the following: Ham, Egg, & Cheddar on an Everything Bagel ($7.25) Bacon, Egg, & Cheddar on an Everything Bagel ($7.25) 1/2 lb Veggie Cream Cheese ($4.95) The bagels themselves were really tasty. We ordered the sandwiches toasted, but they did not seem very toasted. There was an option for double toasted we so will probably try that next time. Otherwise, the taste of the bagel was awesome. Eggs were great and fresh. Really appreciated how it was fried and not just a scrambled patty. Both the ham and the bacon were lovely. Thick cut on both and a generous amount which was perfect. These sandwiches are such great quality and huge. The veggie cream cheese was flavorful and full of veggies. We loved the different flavors we got with each bite. All in all our sandwiches were divine. I could only get through half because of the size which I am totally fine with because now I can have my other half! We will totally be back. So delicious and such a great menu with so many great options. Definitely stop on by you totally will not regret it. Maybe I will run into you next time!

Yelp
Best Bagels on the North Side of Atlanta. My parents came into town and they are picky and complain about everything. I bought them Bagels with cream cheese, and for the first time in a long time, they had great compliments about this place. To this day, when my mom calls me, she still remembers the day I bought her those bagels. The bagels are as big as your baby's head. They are so fresh and the cream cheese as well too. It will give the bagel places in NY a run for the money.

Anthony H.

Yelp
This is the only bagel shop besides Einsteins in a large area. We were excited to try it as they had some interesting flavors on the menu. The bagels are also gigantic, which is good if you want more to enjoy, but the texture is lacking that crunchy exterior and gooey inside. They are less like the NY style and more similar to a loaf of bread. The cream cheese was good, and the service was pleasant.

Art H.

Yelp
I would like to apologize to the Bagel Hole. In a recent review I was critical of some of their pricing. Evidently it's not their doing but the delivery service I used. I have reported this price gouging. It's one thing to charge for a service and demand a tip. It's quite another to charge additional monies for product you are simply delivering. Again my sincere apologies. BH has great products! Try the chicken salad and the bialys on Friday thru Sunday.

Gretchen L.

Yelp
We're all bagel snobs, and we loved this place. The owner is a self-professed lox snob, which is exactly what you want in a bagel shop owner. Happy to have found this place.

Kaleb E.

Yelp
Checked out this new local business today for breakfast! From the moment I walked in, I was immediately welcomed with the delicious smells of freshly baked bagels and hot brewed coffee. It was very hard for me to choose what I wanted, but the owner, Gary, recommended I try their Hole'y Pastrami sandwich! I had never had pastrami prior to today, so I was a little hesitant to try something new. Nonetheless, I sure am glad I took him up on his recommendation, because it was out of this world delicious! So much flavor packed into one giant sandwich. They use Boar's Head pastrami and then top it off with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing all packed in between a freshly baked rye bagel... is your mouth watering yet?! You can absolutely taste the love that was put into this sandwich with every bite! My wife and I paired this delicious sandwich with their iced vanilla latte which was so worth trying as well! I cannot wait to go back and try some more new things! If you're in the area or just wanting to try a new restaurant out, I highly recommend stopping into The Bagel Hole and giving them a visit. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES

Yelp
Walked in the quaint little shop. Was greeted with a smile. Ordered a classic egg bagel with cream cheese and a "cousin Vinny" bagel (meat lovers) on an Asiago cheese bagel. First of all, I'm just a guy from NJ, and I was throughly impressed! Bagels had the right amount of crunch and it was perfect in the inside. Highly recommend! If I lived in the area I would add going to this place into my morning routine.

Kelly L.

Yelp
Terrible heavy doughy bagel and even worse coffee. Service was friendly and quick but could not make up for the awful food and coffee.

Paulina A.

Yelp
I came here specifically for the Rainbow bagel and it definitely delivered! The service was excellent and very quick and the bagel selection is wonderful with a lot of choices from jalapeño cheese, salt bagel to rainbow--there's some thing for everyone.

Stephen B.

Yelp
Super friendly staff. Bagels are huge and there is a ton of variety. Everything is fresh but it's not a typical bagel. They're huge and you pay for them. The flavored cream cheese are really good. I've tried most. Breakfast sandwiches are good. Good coffee too! I would have given 4.5 stars if I could. Not 5 because I prefer a NY style crispy outside, soft inside.

Ginger B.

Yelp
I highly recommend this restaurant!!! I have sampled several different things and all have been amazing! The food is always fresh and delicious! The owners name is Gary and he is very nice and personable. I will definitely be coming back.

Betty D.

Yelp
This place is owned by a jersey guy. He boosts his bagels are just like any New York or New Jersey deli. Forget about it pal. The bagels are soggy inside . It's like eating a raw pretzel. No thx The staff is some what friendly but not the brightest. The girl messed up my order , she gave me an egg bagel with tuna . When my order was everything bagel with cream cheese and chives. The bagels I got for the family no one ate. Think before you fed into that hype of the best bagels around. He's definitely forgotten his roots.

Melody M.

Yelp
It's a great stop for breakfast. My family moved from Maine and we really missed "Mr Bagel" - this superior cream cheese solved that . Good selection, preorder in advance, get a text when it's ready. I love the French toast bagel with bacon egg and cheese - yum! Today they have the massive chocolate chip cookies .. don't go in hungry. Or do.. that's their job to solve :) I recommend taking bagels home to toast to your satisfaction- they're even better!

Pauli W.

Yelp
My daughter said the rainbow bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese tastes like ice cream! We were having a girls bunch when the owner offered to show her how bagels were made. We left with her saying this was one of the best days ever. Thank you so much!

Gretel Y.

Yelp
The Bagel Hole opened last week, June 22nd. They specialize in NY style bagels. Can't tell you how excited I am that they're FINALLY open! I have driven past the shopping center they're located in hundreds of times in the past few months, and each time hoped they were open. Hubs and I decided to check them out Saturday afternoon. We were greeted as soon as we entered. The place was busy, but the line moved quickly. The shop is small, but has ample seating indoor and a few tables outdoor. The dining room is currently closed, and social distancing is encouraged. The staff wore masks and gloves. Hand sanitizer was readily available. Their menu offers bagels, cream cheese schmear, sandwiches, salads, pastries, and drinks. At the time of our visit, their credit card machine wasn't working and were only taking cash. We ordered the following: Lox on a wheat bagel Cinnamon raisin with chocolate chip cream cheese Onion bagel with chive/scallion cream cheese French toast bagel We probably would have ordered more food if I had more cash. Everything looked so good! We took our food outside and ate at one of the tables. The lox sandwich was loaded with smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onions, and capers. It was excellent. The wheat bagel was also excellent. Great texture. I had a few bites of the cinnamon raisin bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese, and it was like eating a breakfast dessert. Yum! Hubs enjoyed his onion bagel. We brought the rest of the cinnamon raisin bagel and the french toast bagel home to my son who devoured both. As soon as we left, one of the staff members came out and cleaned the table and chairs we used. It's nice to see them take Covid-19 guidelines seriously. I look forward to trying more items on the menu, especially the rainbow bagels! We will be back soon.

Piper M.

Yelp
It's just a regular bagel shop nothing special‍. The bagels are really good but I've never tried the other food options. But They do have different flavored cream cheese and they are really good! The workers are always very friendly and understanding. The bagel hole is a very nice breakfast place to eat at!

Marny B.

Yelp
Yummy! A little out of the way from work, but worth it. Their pastrami Reuben on a rye bagel was perfect! Small place, but booming!

Maddie M.

Yelp
Love this place and love the dough! So chewy and delicious. Must eat right away though because if left out it will dry out

Sally C.

Yelp
The bagel was honestly just OK, nothing too special about it other than the interesting colors. Now the reason for my 1 star rating was for the service. I went in and ordered 2 rainbow bagels with plain cream cheese spread. 6 people came in after me and one by one placed their orders. Now I'm normally patient especially when I know the place is busy (it was a full house even before I got there with people waiting for their food). Anyways, one by one the people in front of me get their food. And just when I think it's my turn, the lady who came after me gets hers before me. Now I'm thinking, ok maybe she got something super simple like bagel not toasted and no spread. But then literally everyone else who came in after me got their bagels before me. Keep in mind I'm waiting with my 3 month old baby who's starting to get fussy and my sisters waiting in the car with her toddler. After the last couple who came in AFTER me got their food BEFORE me, I went to the front and asked where mine was because literally everyone's gotten theirs and I'm still waiting. She says "oh it's right here" and within not even 2 minutes she had my bagels ready. Didn't even receive an apology for the wait. Nothing. Just a "here you go."

Andrew M.

Yelp
Way overpriced. For Sausage Egg and Cheese bagel and coke about $14. Ridiculous. Can go eat at Thai restaurant full meal for lunch for same price

Robert A.

Yelp
Bagels were just okay. Smallish assortment of bagel types, no water bagels. Could be better.

Alisha C.

Yelp
I absolutely love going here, the staff is so friendly and the food is delicious. You're definitely getting exactly what you pay for because I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a poppyseed bagel and I was not expecting for it to be so big! it's a great place to pop in when you need a quick and tasty breakfast.

Carlos R.

Yelp
Placed an online order to try and skip the Sunday morning line. They will not ask your name or acknowledge your presence in any way when they're busy. My order sat there on the shelf, ready for the ten minutes I waited for some kind of opportunity to ask about it. The bagels are good when you finally get them.

Bailey M.

Yelp
THE BEST BAgels IN THE ENTIRE WORLD! family coming from new jersey and these 1000% are the best and cant even tell the difference from a new York bagel to these bagels. & THEY HAVE CHOCOLATE CHIP BAGELS which up north they do not have!! if your thinking about stopping 1000% do. you will not regret it & the staff is on top of it and so so so nice!! im from gainsville and i will ALWAYS make the drive here for a bagel.

Laurie T.

Yelp
We came because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed! He bagels are huge so we shared one. Plain bagel with American cheese, eggs and bacon. It was absolutely delicious! The iced vanilla latte was delicious too! We will definitely be back!
