Overall quiet spot with a nice chill atmosphere and good service. The layout of the place was nice for people who want to stay a while to talk and hang out while eating. The bagel sandwich ("the bageler") was really good and the chipotle mayo was tasty. I do think that the bagels by itself (untoasted) is a little chewy/doughey more than Im used to. But also I tried it untoasted so maybe it tasted slightly off because of that. I also shouldve tried a different drink. The mocha was a little too chocolatey and not as much coffee taste as I wouldve liked. Again, these are all personal preference. Otherwise a decent spot to pop in if close by.

Came here on a Sunday morning around 10am. It was not crowded or too busy when I got here. I came with my child. They have a big menu, and they kettle boil the bagels. They are good. I got a poppy bagel with garlic and chive cream cheese. And my child got a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. I liked my bagel, I did ask for it toasted and if it was toasted I couldn’t tell. It was fluffy, and very yeasty which was good. It had a lot of flavor, salty, and doughy. I did think that the poppy bagel didn’t have enough poppy seeds. We also got a strawberry lemonade and a cold brew. On our way out at 10:30 it was crowded, line was long, definitely recommend getting here earlier on a weekend. Overall it was good, it is rated among the best bagels in Chicago, considering the competition it may be a winner.

I got The Bageler sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was absolutely killer—crispy, melty, and packed with flavor. The bagel had just the right spice and a perfect toast. But what really stood out was the service. The young man who took my order was incredibly polite and genuine—just a solid, friendly vibe all around. He even nailed my coffee exactly how I like it, which never happens. Great food, great people, and a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to come back. 10/10 would recommend. 🥯☕🔥

Sooo delicious. Tried it on a whim last weekend and had to come back. The workers are nice and quick even though this place is slammed weekend mornings. Best bagels I’ve had in the city in a long time!

Blueberry bagel was really dense so probably not the best for a sandwich. The Hatty B sandwich was so good! Chai latte just tasted like milk so I dont recommend or add a shot for a creamy coffee. Sesame bagel was so delicious and soft. We had it with The Bageler and it was delicious. I need to come back and try a coffee drink and I different bagel.

Hands down the best coffee (and bagels) in town. Not to mention the staff and owners are the most genuine, down to earth people you will ever meet. Highly recommend!

Great Spot for Bagel Lovers in the North! As a fan of fine bagels, my husband took me to The Bagelers Coffeehouse on Lincoln Ave, and it did not disappoint! Food: They offer a wide variety of bagels, all baked to perfection—soft on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside. The selection of freshly prepared cream cheese flavors was impressive. We tried the cheddar cheese jalapeño and sea salt bagel, paired with their homemade garlic chive, giardiniera, and strawberry cream cheese. Each combination was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. Ambience: The coffeehouse has a simple, cool, and cozy vibe, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee and a bagel. It’s a great place to relax, whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone. Cost: The prices are very reasonable for the quality and taste of the food. You definitely get your money’s worth! Transport and Parking: Public Transport: CTA Bus: Routes #11 (Lincoln/Sedgwick) and #74 (Fullerton) have stops nearby. CTA Train: Brown Line (Armitage Station) is about a 15-minute walk, and the Red Line (Fullerton Station) is approximately a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride. Driving and Parking: Street parking is available, both metered and non-metered, but check signs for restrictions. Nearby parking garages, such as SP+ Parking at 2335 N Clark St, offer additional options. Rates vary. Overall 'The Bagelers Coffeehouse' is definitely in my bucket for Bagel.

Cozy and cute bagel shop! Went right when they opened on a Friday morning, and there wasn't a line. Decent amount of tables and booths too, which is a plus! The atmosphere makes you want to slow down :) Bagel was quite solid!! It was delicious and hits my bagel cravings. I didn't get the sandwich after looking through some reviews and do not regret the generous amount of cream cheese. Can definitely see this place getting busy on the weekends. Would come back!

Who doesn't love a good bagel sandwich. The Bagelers Coffehouse is the place for one. I'd say it's a popular spot in Chicago since most of the seats were taken by people of all ages. I got the fisherman with a jalapeño bagel and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. My boyfriend got the bageler with an everything bagel and a salted caramel latte. The fisherman was so good! Your perfect lox bagel. I do wish the jalapeño bagel actually had jalapeños in it. There wasn't really any type of flavor. The texture was great though. The bageler is your typical breakfast bagel. No flaws at all and was a great comfort. Both lattes were delicious. My boyfriend and I switches lattes actually though just because of taste preference. Overall, food and drinks were great and would recommend!

I've been here twice now and enjoyed both visits. The bagels however are fantastic. Every now and then I crave a bagel and lox and this is a great spot to get my fix. I'll keep coming back for this. They have a brown sugar iced coffee which is good but very sweet. I almost wish they did just a tad less sugar and I'll see if they can make it that way for me next time. Their chocolate cookie wasn't good, unfortunately. I'll stick to the savory options.

Fantastic spot for breakfast. Close by to our air bnb...quick easy drive via Uber. We ordered the following: The Bageler- one of their signature breakfast sandwiches which consist of egg, cheese & bacon. The Gardener- yum! Their main vegan offering. I'm not vegan but I really enjoyed this! So light and refreshing. Consisted of hummus, roasted red peppers, cucumbers and red onions. We got both our sandwiches on an everything bagel. Perfect portion for breakfast! Thank you Yelp for helping me discover this little hidden gem. Besides bagels, they serve muffins and an extensive list of coffee concoctions. Quiet little spot for those who want to get some work done also.

Obsessed, love, highly recommend. Might be my favorite bagel spot in Chicago. The kettle boiled bagels are 10/10 - my favorite is the jalapeño cheddar. I typically get the bageler breakfast sandwich (minus the bacon) and it always hits the spot. The inside is pretty small and tends to be very busy, but the service is good. I oftentimes order to go. One of my favorites for a quick bite in Indy.

Wow- I had this sandwich a few weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it! The spot is small- keep in mind if you're trying to sit in on a weekend- buy super worth a stop even knowing it will be BUSY. Bagels have a delish chew and sammy sizes are super filling.

Been going to Bagelers for the past 3 years. I hope they never ever close their doors. I get so excited and my mouth legitimately waters when I think about their plain bagel with garlic chive spread. Overall, solid spot that never does you wrong.

We stopped by to try a new bagel joint and we were going to take our iced coffees to go but the vibe was so good we sat for awhile. The baristas are friendly and there is good seating that allows for conversation, studying or working. The bagels are delish and are now my favorite. I recommend this spot and we've already been back. Enjoy!

The everything bagel was so good. It was really flavorful and toasted perfectly. It's a small spot, so there isn't a lot of seating. We ordered pick up and the orders were sitting on the counter ready to go. It's a great spot for breakfast!

Stopped in for an impromptu lunch and had a Farmer lunch sandwich on a pretzel bagel. I thought the sandwich was delicious and the bagel was super tasty and well made. I'm usually a smoked salmon gal for bagels but was in the mood for something more lunch-y and it did not disappoint! The ambiance is that of an unassuming and cozy coffee shop.

5 stars for the garlic chive cream cheese - absolutely delicious and i will be thinking about her forevermore. if you're a garlic fan, you simply have to try this. one of my friends said it's a little too much, so not for the faint of heart, but as someone with a garlic obsession (I prefer appreciation but oh well), this hit the spot. I had it spread over an everything bagel and I'm afraid of scurvy so I added a tomato for some extra nutrients which perfectly complemented the cream cheese. the bagels here are obviously good & any would mostly likely provide an appropriate vessel for it. to be clear, she is the Moment. she is the main character. the restaurant is cozy and a great spot for lunches as i work just around the corner. Our server was very sweet and friendly. overall great experience that'll keep me coming back!

Great experience today! Walked in, placed order, friendly staff. They've done some remodeling/upgrading to the place and it looks great. Food and drink were delicious and hardly any wait time. Overall a great experience - and always love the iced salted caramel latte and the Farmer sandwich.

Long line, delicious bagel!! The Saturday line was insane!!!! I waited about 45 min for my bagel - I recommend ordering online ahead of time to avoid having to wait so long. The space is pretty small with not a ton of space to stand around. It was packed, but the staff was very friendly despite being so busy. Bagel was worth it though! The fisherman was fresh and flavorful and they are generous with the toppings. Would definitely go back!!

This spot is insanely delicious! My boyfriend and I came at the coldest time of the month and we were lucky enough to see this spot was open for breakfast. The employees were super friendly as we looked over the menu for a bit and we decided on "The Bageler," "The Fisherman," and our salted Caramel lattes. We grabbed a table and there's plenty of space for small groups or individuals to do their own work. The bageler was delicious! The fisherman was super refreshing and impressive. I loved the freshness and softness of the bagel and with the meats all put together, the food was a 10/10 along with our drinks. Definitely coming back to visit!

I don't really understand why bacon egg and cheeses in Chicago are far more expensive than ones in New York City. The "Bageler" is a tiny bacon egg and cheese for $8.50 that has undercooked microwaved bacon, one egg and unmelted Muenster cheese??? The bagel itself was dry and lacked the proper integrity of a hard exterior and soft chewy interior. If you told me these bagels were store bought I wouldn't question it. The silver lining is that their chive and garlic cream cheese was very flavorful and shows high promise on the right type of bagel.

What a cute little spot! This place was hopping when I stopped by to pick up a to-go order. Note if you're waiting for pickup: there's a separate counter directly parallel to the main coffee bar designed specifically for online order pickup. (I initially waited in the wrong spot and didn't realize my food had been ready behind me for 5 mins!) It's not immediately apparent when you walk in and can be hard to miss with so many people. While all the pre-made bagels looked delicious, I opted to create my own with plain cream cheese, lettuce, and cucumbers. The bagel was perfectly chewy and not too dense. They make their own bagels here! AMPLE cream cheese. (I had to scrape some off. ) I would love to return to try more of the menu! Great little neighborhood spot.

First time here and really enjoyed it. Their drip coffee is quite good and The Bageler breakfast sandwich was delicious. Pro Tip: For 35 cents, you can swap out the slice of Munster cheese for their garlic chive cream cheese and that sandwich reaches a whole different level of yummy goodness. Do it. You'll thank me later.

Quick service, yummy coffee, and fresh bagels! Small menu for sandwiches but plenty of bagel and spread choices to choose from. The brown sugar cinnamon latte and pretzel bagel were delicious. A little on the pricey side, but very fresh ingredients.

To preface, I am a bagel lover, so this may characterize me as an unreliable narrator but that's okay, I'm just here to rate my food! Walking into the coffeehouse provided me with a lovely interior design filled with comfortable seating, a variety of artwork (relating to the theme of bagels and coffee, of course), and an overall "pleasant" setting. I also really appreciated the lighting within the room, for its dim presence really created and enhanced the idea of the coffeehouse being a place to sit down and relax or do work in peace. The service was pretty quick, though it may have been that way because the place is close to a local college campus, which I presume many students go to in their free time. I'll try to come back at a more busier time to see if that changes. The food was great, very tasty and you can definitely tell that the bagels are well seasoned and well proportioned for what you're paying. I am also a bit biased because I did add hot sauce to my bagel for more flavor (and also just personal preference). I really like how there is a variety of options to choose from, especially some that are vegan-friendly. I went with a friend to this location, so below is her review of the iced caramel latte: "I think it's good. It's not like the best coffee, but it's definitely one of the best lattes I've had. I recommend it to anyone who likes caramel. I rate it top five for top caramel lattes I've had." Side point: the music choice was quite interesting. They were playing some sad music, but I would like to say that the music was chosen by the employees. Overall, very good, will come again!

A great coffee shop & bagel spot in Chicago. The service was great. I had a chai latte and it was one of the best I've had! I also got The Bageler Bagel on a pretzel bagel and it was good. All of their bagels are kettle boiled. Plenty of space to sit and could be a nice place to work from as well.

This is such a gem! Bagels taste freshly made and they offer a nice variety. We went around 11 am though and they were out of everything bagels so might be a spot you need to hit earlier in the morning. Bagel sandwich was delicious and I loved the spicy chipotle sauce on it. Coffee was tasty as well! I look forward to coming back here. Service was quick with friendly staff.

Not sure how this casual counter service coffee shop flew under my radar for so long. They have delicious coffee and a wide assortment of perfect bagels. Had the fisherman sandwich and it was delicious.. capers, smoked salmon, pickled onions... can't wait to return for more!

Solid bagel for sure and a cozy atmosphere overall. The egg sandwiches aren't premade, but they aren't custom either. Was told the egg was scrambled when they are all fried. Probably would have approached the order differently.

I ordered 1. The Bageler - egg, bacon, cheese, chipotle mayo on Everything Bagel 2. Bourbon Vanilla Chai Latte Although my jaw got sore, bagel sandwich was absolutely delicious. Bagel was soft and fried egg's yolk was between runny and dry which is great. The basic formula with chipotle mayo in between the everything bagel produced awesome flavor! Vanilla chai latte was on the sweeter side but I have a sweet tooth and I loved clearly tasting the chai tea. Service was good and ample amount of seating.

Meh. I came this morning and didn't have to wait in line which was a plus. I got the Bageler sandwich and it was passable. Definitely not worth the calories or money. Bacon was mushy - barely cooked and bagel was a big soggy. Egg was cold (as was the bacon). Cheese wasn't melted...which if I'm getting a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, that should be a given. I like my bagels toasted and asked the lady when I ordered if they were toasted. She said yes. It definitely was not toasted. With all the good food in Chicago, you'd think a decent bagel sandwich wouldn't be so hard to find. But alas, the search continues.

This place is damn good and dirt cheap! Never have I paid $3.50 for a bagel and cream cheese in my life. The chive spread was super fresh and flavorful! Definitely will be coming back here next time I'm in town.

Picked up bagels here to bring home for a full house of people. They were a hit! The staffers were super friendly and were super quick. Generous with the cream cheese (packed in tubs) and we even got a variety of spreads. Bagels were sliced (after they asked us if we wanted them pre-sliced). After a little bit in the home toaster and smearing to our delight, the bagels made a great breakfast option for a multi-generational household of people. There was only one other person in line ordering her breakfast ahead of us. It was super quick and everyone was wearing masks.

I ordered the fisherman which barely had enough lox (one layer) to cover whole bagel and the bageler which didn't even have equivalent of half of piece of bacon. Also of note ordered 2 bagels to go not sliced ( to keep fresher) which were sliced. Perhaps they thought they were doing me a favor, but clearly didn't adhere to order details. Disappointing experience, especially for cost.

Genuinely the worst bagel I have ever had. I've been here twice now because I wanted to give it another chance, but I won't be returning again. The first time I came here they got my order wrong twice. I always get my bagels extra toasted with cream cheese on the side, but for some reason the workers here don't understand what that means. Attached is a picture of my "extra toasted bagel." Try not toasted at all. The bagel was also stale and salty, which I did not expect from a sesame bagel. The only thing keeping this place at 1 star instead of 0 is the ambiance, which isn't terrible.

Good neighborhood spot for bagels in a neighborhood where there's honestly just not enough bagel choices. I wish there were more than 3 bagel sandwich options but I did enjoy the "Bageler" which had bacon, egg, and chipotle mayo. The Mayo wasn't too spicy but certainly was more of a kick than I'm used to in the morning! I also appreciated that their door was open a few minutes early and they took my order 2 minutes before they were even technically open.

The service was friendly and fast. I chose this bagel shop due to the reviews. I liked my Sandwich but wasn't wowed. Too much cream cheese and the bagel was a little dry.

I have been here 3 times now and each time have had to wait at least an hour for a simple bagel and coffee. I understand it's busy on the weekends but waiting 2 hours after placing an online order is ridiculous, especially when that time is not prefaced before ordering. Also the food should be exceptional if it takes that long and it is not. Inside is cramped and they have a terrible pickup system of just calling out names once and leaving the counter.

Went here on a recommendation & posting this within minutes of eating. The bageler on a jalapeno cheddar bagel was literally the best sammy I've ever tasted in my existence. Life changing deliciousness

Highly recommend the fisherman bagel. The combination of flavors with the capers, cream cheese and tomato is delicious! I stopped by on a Saturday and the place was packed with long lines. The staff informed me that you can order online for pickup which I strongly recommend you do unless you want to wait in a cramped space!

Paid $12 for a bagel that was below average. When I opened the bag the bagel was falling apart in the paper, not cut through, and Turkey only on half of the bagel. Space is small and crowded but only thing holding them together is their quick service. Can tell the employees just try to get orders done quick.

I wanted to give this SOMETHING, but I just can't. I got lox, chive cream cheese, on a poppy bagel. The bagel was fine? They took out most of the flavor by roasting it so I really couldn't tell how it was or was supposed to taste. Most bagel places don't toast their bagels for a reason. The cream cheese was insufficient. They put the thinnest layer. Bagels should be messy and leaking cream cheese... this was not it. I felt completely cheated. The lox itself was frankly gross. The flavor was exceptionally cured, which may have been fine... but the texture was terrible. It had a stringy, almost fatty (in a bad way) texture that was unpleasant. This bagel came out to $12 which was a complete rip off for what you get. Take your money and go down the street to Gotham Bagels.

Stopped in for a refreshing, iced latte on a very hot day. I was waiting for the "Play" store to open up across the street, and decided to stop in after another woman standing nearby recommended it. Iced lattes- 4.5 (slightly acidic) The Fisherman- 5! Bageler- 5! Service and atmosphere: 5 Recommend!

Yum, this place was delicious! My hubby and I both got the breakfast bagel sandwich (bacon, egg, cheese, and chipotle mayo) and loved it. I got mine on an everything bagel. The seasonings were all toasted so I was a little worried it'd taste burnt, but it was delicious! The mayo and cheese nicely balanced the onion flavors from the bagel. The bagel had a great chew (my jaw hurt after eating it!) and was perfect in a sandwich. I've had many everything bagels that were too salty, but this one was great. We also got a pumpkin pie latte. I was worried it may taste just like a rebranded pumpkin spice latte, but it perfectly captured the custard flavor in the pie, and was very creamy and foamy. A great place to get breakfast or brunch - would come here again!

The coffee and food are both great -- it is hard to get a good bagel in Chicago but I always enjoy theirs. Recommend the new sausage Bageler -- and usually you can sit if you are there before 10 AM (haven't been there later than that)!

I literally popped in here for a buttered bagel- for my kids Used the bathroom- clean Ordered the bagel, with butter. Came to a whopping $3.50 or something. I thought they messed it up. Usually cream cheese is higher But then I realized they used fancy Irish butter. Made sense The bagel was really delicious. It was thin and perfectly toasted. And the butter tasted pretty awesome with it Nice people

My friends and I came to this cute bagel shop for breakfast. It is clean inside and the ac was nice for a hot humid day. We ordered our bagels at the same time and sat down. We got an Oatmilk latte and a brown sugar latte. I wouldn't recommend getting any type of coffee here because it did not taste like coffee. It was very much like the cheap grounded coffee powder and our drinks were so bitter yet we could taste the syrup sweetener. It was a weird blend. Also, I don't know why the last bagel came out so late. Everyone had their bagels within 3-5 minutes but the last bagel took a long time to come out like 10 minutes. It wasn't busy when we went, and we had ordered at the same time. Everyone was enjoying the bagels and almost finished before the last one even came out. The bagel quality was good and flavorful. I wouldn't recommend the coffee or lattes here. I don't think I'll come back here soon.

I went through a phase of ordering their vanilla bourbon chai latte; it's SO GOOD. The reason for the 3 stars? It's not consistently good, and when it's not mind blowing, it's actually bad. I would highly recommend you check this place out; the chai is unique and delicious, most of the time!

It's no secret that Chicago lacks really good bagel places, and unfortunately, Bagelers is no New York bagel shop. That said, it's pretty freakin good. They have a good range of flavors for both bagels and cream cheeses, and I absolutely love their Fisherman sandwich which had pickled onions, capers, and lox.
