My first time visiting here when I went on a quick roadtrip. I ordered their Cookie Monster cookies to make a icecream sandwich with cookies n creme icecream in the middle with sprinkles. It was so good! I’ll definitely will be back to try more!

A great place to sit for a treat after dinner. Decor is hip, clean and spacious and it smells like a cookie factory. Fresh baked cookies and brownies served with ice cream in a variety of ways. We got fast friendly service and the brownies were heavenly. Yes its just a sweet dessert but skillfully made so it doesnt just taste like a glob of sugar. One of our favorite dessert spots

The Baked Bear is absolutely amazing! The concept of custom ice cream sandwiches is genius, and they execute it perfectly. The cookies are soft, warm, and freshly baked — you can really taste the quality. The ice cream is super creamy and full of flavor, and the combinations you can make are endless. The staff is always friendly and patient while you pick out your cookie and ice cream combo (which is not easy when everything looks so good!). The place smells incredible the moment you walk in, and it’s such a fun treat whether you’re with friends, family, or just craving something sweet. Highly recommend trying the brownie + cookie combo with cookies and cream ice cream — it’s unreal. Definitely one of the best dessert spots around!

I recommend anyone to Baked Bear!! The ice cream is delicious. I got the Almond Butter Brittle Cake and my bf got the White Macadamia nut cookie ice cream sandwich. This ice cream is 10/10. The place is clean and neat with many places for you to sit. They also have an outside sitting area.

Decided to come and see what all the hype was about. Overall it was really good but we weren’t impressed. I think they’re really expensive for what you get. I don’t recommended spending the money to get any cookies by themselves either. Stick with the ice cream for the cookies especially for what the cookies cost on their own.

In all my years, I only thought you could enjoy ice cream in a cone. My girlfriend told me about this place and I couldn't believe human technology had advanced this much. My mind and belly were blown away. Ice cream between cookies and brownie?!?!?! Unbelievably good! Must go again!!

Amazing desserts! I recommend an ice cream sandwich with a Cookie Monster cookie, a Nutella cookie and bear batter ice cream. Make sure to get it hot pressed for the best experience! My wife likes the ice cream sandwiches with gluten free cookies as well!

I liked it, but didn't love it! I was thrilled they offered gluten free options, but the cookies were lacking good consistency. They were almost crispy instead of dense and gooey. Great concept though! I can see why this place is so popular.

Such a great little treat off the beaten path. Nothing better than a homemade cookie with fresh ice cream. I've been multiple times and have been so pleased every time. Love the flavor and the monthly cookie option.

The Baked Bear is an awesome ice-cream spot (this coming from someone who's not a big fan of ice-cream sandwiches). You create your own ice-cream sandwich by selecting the cookies for the top and bottom layers. They have a lot of unique flavors like the blue Cookie Monster Cookie, the Funfettie Cookie or the Nutella Chocolate Chuck Cookie. I ended up going with the the Gooey Butter Cake Cookie. Next step, you select the ice-cream flavor. I felt like the Caramel Pretzel Fudge was the way to go. The sandwich was super delicious. I never had an ice-cream sandwich that came with a warm baked cookie, and I felt like it was 100 times better than a plain old ice-cream sandwich. This is a great place to come after a meal at one of the many restaurants in the area.

Gluten free cookies AND vegan ice cream?! Yes please. This was wonderful. It's not often I can find treats like this that actually taste GOOD!!

Crowded on a hot summer night but sooooo tasty! Baked Bear has some combination for everyone- just a cookie, just an ice cream, or go crazy and mix it together! Fun for kids and adults alike- this is a tucked away spot that everyone should find and try.

We stopped in one night for some ice cream. I got an ice cream sandwich with the gooey buttercake cookies, which were amazing, and toasted s'mores ice cream, which was good but didn't give me that s'mores flavor. They also have pup cups. Overall, a good place for ice cream or cookies.

Just what I needed for something awesome to wrap up a great day! This place had it all - amazing cookie selections (flavor of the month - banana chocolate chip :). Many variety of ice cream flavors - delicious and legit ! The service was incredible and a friendly staff .... Who will warm up your cookie!! A must stop when you're craving a treat in Nashville!!

My partner loooved his ice cream sandwich. Two warm cookies and unique ice cream. I loved that they had a vegan flavor for me, but I wasn't the biggest fan it. Some vegan ice creams taste 100% like ice cream and this did not. Overall, it's a nice stop to try some unique ice cream flavors.

This was a fun little place that I'm glad we came across while visiting. There is a cute wall outside for photo ops. I did feel a little rushed while trying to order since there was a line behind me and only one person making the sandwiches to order. You pick your top and bottom cookies and your flavor ice cream to sandwich it all together. There's options to put on top for extra cost as well. I got a stuffed Nutella for my top cookie and white macadamia cookie for my bottom. Both of these would have been delicious by themselves, but for my sandwich I paired them with a cookie butter ice cream and added caramel drizzle. To die for!!! I really wish we had some places like this near me because my kids would love it! Although they are pretty big. I'd recommend just getting them in a Togo cup whether you plan to eat there or not. They have bowls, but there were only 2 bowl flavors (a brownie and I think chocolate chip) and I really wanted to try the other cookie flavors. I'd come back again if I come across another one of these.

This place is a favorite for my family anytime we are in town! Cookies are always fresh, service is typically speedy even if crowded, and the combination of cookie with ice cream is a treat for the taste buds. Gets yours heat pressed!

Amazing. Baked bear has my heart. Create your own ice cream cookie sandwich sign me up! And they have other options too. They let you try flavors of ice creams and constantly change flavors of cookie and ice cream keeping the menu fresh. Love this customizable sweet treat.

Cookies were good and so was the ice cream . Cute concept . Unfortunately, the people working there were rude and couldn't even offer a greeting . Many cookie flavors were out and I was overcharged . I asked to add almonds which should be part of a part of a fudge sundae ,they charged me for an additional 2 toppings .

Quality cookies + quality ice cream = super quality ice cream sandwich! This place rocks, and they're open much later than most other bakeries or dessert places. Anytime I need a late night sweet treat, or an indulgent way to celebrate a special occasion, this is the place I go! Be prepared for some longer lines, especially when college is in session. But they move the lines along pretty quickly, and there are places to sit both indoors and outdoors! You'll have to pay at the nearest lot to park, unless you walk snag street parking along 18th

We came here and we both ordered just ice cream. You can make your own ice cream sandwich with cookies or just order cookies. The ice cream wasn't some Cedar Crest ice cream. It had lots of items in it. The cookie dough had lots of cookie dough. They also have toppings you can add. It was good and a fun experience. The employees were nice as well. There are seats all around inside and outside to sit at.

Who wants a store bought ice cream sandwich when you can make your own? Thanks to a friend, I learned about The Baked Bear today and immediately knew I had to go. Nestled in midtown, it's a quaint shop with a ton of deliciousness. It seems to be a pretty popular spot as the line quickly grew outside the door. The staff works pretty quickly though so it didn't take me long at all. Pro: For a custom ice cream sandwich, you choose your cookie top + bottom, ice cream, and toppings. You can also choose to hot press. I ordered a mix + match ice cream sandwich with a Cookie Monster and Cookies + Cream cookies, Cookie Dough ice cream, and sprinkles (of course). It was the best dessert I've had in a long time. Con: The shop isn't accessible for people with physical disabilities. When leaving I noticed two ladies coming to the establishment. The one using a wheelchair had to stay outside because she couldn't there was no ramp for her to access the door. Couldn't give it 5 stars because of this.

A delicious sweet place with yummy fresh baked cookies and ice cream. You can do a cookie with ice cream , or ice cream, or just cookies, or an ice cream sandwich. I quite enjoyed the gooey butter cookie, which was delicious. They had parking available on the street. I hope you enjoy your sweet treats.

What a fun experience we had at Baked Bear! We loved choosing our cookies and ice cream for such a delicious treat. The staff was helpful and the interior was so cute. They even had gluten free cookies so I could enjoy an ice cream sandwich as well. We will be back!

The location is cute enough, but I wasn't greeted when I came in, which is OK I suppose. But the cookies were very under baked which made it hard to eat. It was just so doughy. I figured I would just eat the ice cream and that was actually, sadly disappointing because it really had no flavor and I ordered the cookies and cream. It was just kind of basic. So over offer a cookie sandwich that cost over nine dollars. I don't think I would do it again.

Innovative dessert style! Options for cookies, brownies, and ice cream both individually and combined into a sandwich. Personally, I went with the traditional chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream and it still stood out! Large portions, so splitting is recommended as long as you both can agree on the correct combination.

The super nice and patient staff as it was my first time at a Baked Bear. The cookie and ice cream selections are plenty, the serving size is generous and the price is fair. My only wish was that they could be heated up more warmly to make the cookies and ice cream softer. Very cool concept and looking forward to getting one in Atlanta.

The Baked Bear is a Nashville staple! I will say I'm not a huge dessert guy, I like salt and spices. Not much of a sweet tooth but my wife begs for this whenever we are in the area. Cookies and ice cream sandwiches at your fingertips and being able to create whatever you want is a great idea. Wish they had soft serve option but their hard ice cream is very good.

Delicious but when planning your ice cream sandwich, make sure the ice cream doesn't over power the cookie. The cookie is soft but firm enough to handle the ice cream. Great combination! When we got there, the line was ~8 people but moved fast. Good service. Outdoor seating was open and many photo opportunities.

The baked bear is a great place for a fun sweet treat! Yes, $9 for dessert is a lot but the portions are really big. For the ice cream sandwich, which is the reason you should go, you get to pick two cookies, any toppings, and your ice cream. You can also choose to get it hot pressed! I usually don't, but I've heard it can be good. Depending on your hunger/commitment level, either get one to share or try to take one down yourself! I've tried: -Snickerdoodle Cookie: 9/10 - Soft, cinnamony, great! -Nutella Chocolate Chunk Cookie: 9.5/10 - LOVE the flavor. Nutella in it is really fun. -Chocolate Chip Cookie: 8.5/10 - No complaints. Again, a really solid cookie. -Cookies and Cream Cookie: 8.5/10 - Again, super delicious, and does taste of oreos! Just on the simpler side. -Lava Cake Cookie (limited edition): 7.9/10 - I expected SO much more because I adore lava cake, but it just wasn't gooey or chocolatey enough. -M&M Cookie (limited edition): 7/10 - Coming from someone who adores M&Ms this is surprising but I just don't think this cookie has enough depth of flavor. It's a bit boring. -Mini M&M Topping: 10/10 - I love mini M&Ms and I think they are the perfect addition to almost any baked bear sandwich. -Oreo Crumb Topping: 8/10 - Great if you love oreos! Chunks were a little big for my liking. -Nutella Topping: 8/10 - Super super super rich. Would only get this if you have a HUGE sweet tooth. -Cookie Dough Ice Cream: 9/10 - Really yummy, the cookie dough is great, just wish there was a bit more of it. -Bear Batter Ice Cream: 4/10 - Although I normally like cake batter ice creams, this one is too sickly sweet and just doesn't pair well with cookies. Don't recommend. -Caramel Pretzel Fudge Ice cream: 9.5/10 - The caramel isn't too overpowering, and the addition of the salty pretzel and the chocolatiness of the fudge makes a really interesting combo of flavors!

The Baked Bear is close to my hotel, after walking by it started to rain. We ducked into The Baked Bear for some shelter and cool vibes. The Baked Bear is a nice ice cream spot. There's 15 different fun flavors to choose from and boy did we choose a great flavor. Once we saw Toasted S'mores it lept straight into ma belly. Talk about a flavor ready to throw down, just when you think you had enough, your mind says S'more! haha We made a ice cream sandwich with a Snickerdoodle cookie base. The kid behind the ice cream counter asked if you wanted the cookie heated? Um. hell yes!? Once we had our creation, we grabbed a window seat and watched the falling rain. The S'mores ice cream is krazy good! C'mon, who doesn't love S'Mores? While the ice cream was great, the cookie was questionable. It was soft and when you add the ice cream to make the final sandwich? I think that bear got baked in the woods. We picked a fun and funky ice cream flavor and were happy with our choice

Yum!! The ice cream and the cookies are both fantastic! I love all of their different flavors and they have gluten free cookies (which are just as good as the normal cookies)! The portion is HUGE! I always save half for another day.

This is the absolute best dessert place ever! I come every single time I make a trip to Nashville and even when I'm just driving through. It's always amazing every single time and the staff is so friendly. It is a small place and gets crowded often but we still always find a seat and enjoy our ice cream in the restaurant. The lights also give it a cozy feel which I love. You have to try this place!!

This was a great little find. They make their own custom ice cream sandwiches here. You have a choice between a cookie or a brownie. There are various types and flavors of cookies. You can choose your own ice cream flavor along with a topping. This is a very casual and laid-back environment. The service is very quick and very friendly. This is worth a stop.

Huge fan of The Baked Bear! I first tried them in Columbia, SC and fell in love. The Nashville location lives up to the hype, and I often DoorDash their cookies. Definitely recommend trying a cookie sandwich if you plan to visit in person - it's just the right combo of warm cookie and cold ice cream, but does melt fast.

WOW, while visiting Nashville this was a dessert shop my daughter was dying to try. We arrived late night around 9:30 PM and the line was out the door. The line moved quickly and as we waited we checked out the menu. You can get cookies, ice cream, ice cream sandwiches and sundaes. We decided on the custom ice cream sandwiches. You get to pick the top and bottom cookie/brownie, ice cream flavor and then toppings are optional for an additional charge. My daughter selected the cookie monster and funfetti cookie, then the toasted smores ice cream. I opted for the gooey butter cake and chocolate chip cookie with the toasted smores (the ice cream was chocolate based with marshmallows - so good). The portion size was huge, and we probably should have split one. It was probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. The cookies are super soft and the top and bottom cookies were molded around the generous 2-3 scoops of ice cream inside. Overall a 5/5 and a must try when you are in Nashville, TN.

This was incredible!!!! We went around 8:30 on a Sunday night and the line was out the door! It moved fast though and wasn't a problem. It just made me so excited that I was about to eat something amazing. It was so hard to choose what I wanted, since everything on the menu looked amazing. I finally settled on the s'mores ice cream between a gooey butter cookie and a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. It was an amazing choice. We were taking these to go, or I would have wanted to try the "hot pressed" option where they warm up the cookies. It's certainly a lot to eat - but it's amazing. The gooey butter cake cookie particularly was next level. Everyone was happy with their sandwiches!

They offer a variety of cookie flavors, toppings and at least 8 different ice cream flavors. Everything that we had was delicious. We ended up ordering cookies to bring back home after tasting them.

Every time we passed this place, it was packed! We finally made it in and were so pleased! Warm cookies of your choice with a fist-sized ice cream mashed in between. Simple and beautiful concept! We ordered their Nutella cookie and chocolate chip cookie with Mud Pie ice cream in between. We shared that monster and it was STILL too big!

I love the concept of custom ice cream sandwiches! Baked Bear had a great selection of cookies and ice cream flavors. They are also VERY generous with their portions, so come hungry or split just 1 if you're coming with others! I got an ice cream sammy with a Gooey Butter Cake cookie and a Cookie Monster cookie as the base. For the ice cream, I got the Mud Pie and Bear Batter flavors. The Gooey Butter Cake cookie (warmed up) was hands down the best. Next time, I would get just this cookie for the sandwich. The Mud Pie was a coffee ice cream with yummy brownie, cookies and cream, and fudge bits. The Bear Batter was a blue cake batter ice cream with fudge bits and sprinkles. Both ice cream flavors were so decadent and creamy - definitely recommended. My only regret is not sharing an ice cream sammy between my husband and I because we both left completely stuffed!

Love this idea and love that they offer to warm the cookies slightly. Lots of choices to make the ice cream sandwich of your dreams. Line was long but moved quickly and gave us time to decide on what we wanted to pair together. Not a ton of seating but there is outside and inside seating options and their product is something that be eaten on the go.

This was my favorite late night find. An ice cream sandwich that you can mix and match (inner child dream) was all you could think of. It was delicious and I had mine heated up (they heat it after it's all put together and the ice cream does NOT melt). Sugary and sweet with a few photo opportunities for those visiting. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. They were more than willing to answer any and all questions customers had.

It's a chain but it has great unique flavors and options. The workers were so fast and good at getting orders out. Serving sizes were generous. Clean place but a bit small. Would be nice if they had a bit more seating outside.

Came on a Friday night around 9PM, small parking lot, no line when we showed up but long consistent line after we ordered and while we enjoyed our dessert there. Indoor and outdoor seating, quite nice. I got the combo with brownie and gooey butter cake cookie, and blackberry crumble ice cream. Thought about mud pie which is coffee ice cream with brownie but I thought too much brownie perhaps. Brownie was chewy but really sweet, the cookie was super soft and I could take the cake flavor. Ice cream blackberry flavor was very light. BIG portion, need to share it next time. About $9 post-tax which is very expensive for what it is but fine once in a while.

Stopped for ice cream in the summer. Long line but that's normally a good thing. Great location for me, but the parking is difficult. Pricey spot, so we didn't get anything fancy - just scoops. Would try again
