The 12 Best Dog-Friendly Restaurants - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Located on a quiet residential Phinney Ridge block, this neighborhood pub that doubles as a sports bar serves a surprisingly excellent brunch catered to families and those who don’t like to go anywhere without their dog. You can hang out on the long patio for a leisurely meal of satisfying options like salmon belly benedicts that have a touch of smoke. The prices are very un-Seattle-like, particularly the $8 Bloody Marys. Or you can take the party inside for a pint to catch some of the game at tables just tall enough to keep prying paws out of reach. Either way, expect lots of attention from the staff that genuinely gets a kick out of booping snoots." - aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

Google
Barking Dog Alehouse is a restaurant and bar right off 8th in Ballard, nestled into a side road so definitely of the beaten path. They have some seating outside with heaters and coverage, plus lots of seating inside at tables or the bar. They have a bunch of TVs and a good sized menu of food and drinks. They have a good sized menu, including happy hour for food and drinks. With weekly specials, there's always something new to try. They are dog friendly inside, and baby friendly as well. The staff is so nice, quick to help, and although the food is a bit pricey at smaller portions, it's delicious. Definitely a great local spot to try out.

Hahaha...The health department inspected our MV and ramekins..LOL! I think I've heard it all. The health department does NOT inspect malt vinegar nor does it inspect ramekins. Far stretch Dan but decent attempt. Ordering from a QR sticker sucks but what is worse is having a "server" expect a tip after doing nothing more than dropping off some good. Years ago you were decent. Nowadays? Please do better. And don't lie about health inspections.

Moose gives Barking Dog Alehouse a huge 4 Paws with enthusiastic tail wags. What a fantastic neighborhood establishment with over-the-top great service, delicious food, and an awesome pet-friendly patio dining space. We were in the area visiting from Portland and my wife decided to look up dog-friendly dining options so our pup didn’t have to sit in the car over dinner. We decided to give this place a shot and they hit an out-of-the-park home run with our experience. My wife had the fish n’ chips with waffle fries and love it. The fish was super fresh tasting and done just right. I tried the lamb burger with stadium fries. If you’re a lamb and garlic lover then this is an excellent choice. Funnily enough, I liked my wife’s waffle fries better and she liked my stadium fries better. We finished off the night with the PNW berry cobbler with ice cream and it was a perfect way to close out the night. Our Golden Shepard, Moose, also had a great experience. She made so many new friends tonight, people brought her treats, and the staff were super friendly.

Google
This is my favorite restaurant in seattle. Everything I’ve eaten here is delicious. Creative pizzas, perfectly brined and fried chicken tenders, amazing-combination-of-flavor bowls, and so much more. I sing my praises from the rooftops (okay, not really, but I do tell all my friends, and I did write this Google review which I very rarely do).

Dushyant M.

Google
We visited this place as a group of six for weekend brunch. I called ahead to check if there would be a wait for a table, and the person on the phone said there wasn’t - and even asked if we preferred indoor or outdoor seating. I said we’d like to sit indoors and that we’d arrive in 15 minutes. When we got there, they had actually reserved a table for us, which was a really thoughtful touch. The staff doesn't take orders at the table. You either place your order at the bar or by scanning a QR code, which was convenient. The staff brings the food to your table and also clears up afterward. We ordered the mushroom and sage benedict and the farmer’s bowl - both were excellent and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly, the ambiance was great, and the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Omg. Duck poutine. Amazing. Also great service and great martinis!! Lovely neighborhood bar with good food and drinks. It gets busy at peak times! They have a nice outdoor space in good weather. Dogs welcome. Wheelchair accessible. Great place!

Google
I can't say enough good things about the Barking Dog. The menu and tap list are great. The service is super friendly and attentive. The patio is fantastic for families and dogs. We love how low-stress an afternoon or evening out to this place is. So grateful to have them in our neighborhood.

Brett M.

Google
This is not your typical bar food. This is really high quality food that you'd expect from a fancy restaurant but in an ale house style atmosphere. It's very family friendly and pet friendly as well. Lots of room between tables for wheelchair accessibility as well as a sense of privacy. Big screen tv's and fun art on the walls. Boardgames and coloring available for kids. Parking can be challenging at times because it's in a somewhat residential area, but this place is definitely worth checking out. Lots of outdoor/patio seating as well.

Yelp
"Come for your dog, not the dining." This place is great if you're a dog... and only if you're a dog. Yes, it's dog-friendly, which is the only reason we came -- but that's where the perks end. The food? Bland doesn't even begin to cover it. I've had more seasoning on an unsalted saltine. Overpriced, zero flavor, and somehow still disappointing even with low expectations. And heads up: there are no servers. You're basically paying premium prices to stand in line for food that tastes like it was seasoned by someone who's afraid of salt. Speaking of salt... please, for the love of our taste buds, invest in salt and pepper shakers for the tables. Put us out of our misery. Bottom line: * Go if you want a place to sip a drink while your dog lives its best life. * Avoid if you're coming for a meal. Bring your pup, lower your expectations, and maybe pack your own seasoning.

Yelp
Stopped here for dinner. Ordered the salmon BLT ($21) and SoCal Chicken ($19). Chicken sandwich was a 4. Lot of chicken but a bit dry. Salmon BLT was tasty. Not had a LOT of chips. Good service- quick and friendly service.

Yelp
Met a friend with each of our dogs here! Dogs are allowed inside or out on leashes. Great patio seating/dining. Service was friendly. Food was great! Lots of options for all

Yelp
BRING YOUR DOG! Great brews, good food. My wife and I brought out new puppy "Boomer" to the Alehouse. There is indoor dining and a bar but if you bring your dog you can sit outside in one of about 20 outdoor covered and heated tables. There are many craft beers to choose from. The food portions are huge. I had the alehouse burger. It was a full half pound and was delicious. The fries were also plentiful and you may choose from several types including sweet potato. I chose the cross cut ones very good. You order and pay with a QR code. Each table has its own, so wait staff know which table ordered what. Once an order is submitted, service is prompt. So bring your doggie, or not, either way you will enjoy the food and brews. Cheers!

Yelp
Traveling in Seattle with my dog, I had to try this place just because of the name. It's in the northern part of the Ballard neighborhod and definitely has that neighborhood vibe. Lots of outdoor seating that's covered and I really appreciated that the do QR code ordering, which I always like because you don't have to call a server or wait for the check. I gave plus for the selection of beer and for the variety in food. Most beer gardens would just serve burgers and fried foods, but Barking Dog actually had a mix of things, including salmon. I even saw a Vietnamese rice vermicelli bowl special. I ended up getting the salmon teriyaki with salad. I have to say the salmon was cooked well but the teriyaki sauce was served on the side and when it came out it was still like lard. So it was actually fine to have it on the side because I just liked the simple grilled salmon. This is a great option if you're eating out with your dog.

Yelp
Great spot for comfort, food, and cheer. Ordered the festbier and salmon salad with blackberries. The service was friendly and fast, and the food was fresh and delicious. I really liked the option to either order with the staff or via a QR code, letting me take my time and not feel like I was holding anyone up. Wish I lived here. It would easily be my neighborhood community to watch the Mariners keep winning!

Yelp
We got to try this place because we won a gift card. The whole place (inside and outside) is dog friendly. A big plus point for us. I got their breakfast bowl and my husband got corned beef for brunch. Mine was pretty good except for the really oily fried potatoes. My husband found his meal too salty. We ordered the hot rum and blackberry cocktails - both were good.

Charles E.

Yelp
This establishment charges a 2% service fee for something. I dont recall seeing that service charge posted or printed on the menu. Not sure what it covers. It does appear that sales tax isn't charged for that item. What's really frustrating and I'll have to think real hard if I want to return, is the establishment calculating the recommended tip on the cost of food, beverage and sales tax. Then on their handheld electronic point of sale, there wasn't a way to see the itemized receipt before paying. So I ended up paying a tip on the sales tax. That is an unscrupulous in the part of the business. Since this is a pet friendly establishment, I didn't see a menu for the dog to purchase snacks for the dog, nor do they provide water bowls for each table with pets. There are communal water bowls placed in the common area of the patio. The table QR code menu doesn't allow for substitutions or deleting of items, so you have to place your order inside at the bar. Then the service individuals will deliver. The service was great even with UW being on TV for football and the bar was packed.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant/brewery tucked away in the Ballard neighborhood. There's indoor and outdoor seating which is nice for summer days. The menu has a nice selection of breakfast brunch items and another side for lunch. We ordered off the lunch menu and the food came quickly after we ordered. The food was tasty and the portions were nice.

Yelp
Very local neighborly feel. Good bar food. Waffle fries! Great service. Ignore the signs about ordering online - a waitor will arrive soon enough.
google avatar

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place. Very friendly service. The owner Dan introduced himself to me and told me about the history of the place which was nice. Great ambiance here and lots of outdoor seating for the summer. It's tucked into a residential neighborhood in the lower Phinney area. Dog friendly. Everything is great about this place. I look forward to going back. Plenty of room inside as well. Will try the food next time.

Yelp
We love this place because we can bring our dog (inside or out!). They have gluten free buns which is a total game changer and allows me to eat a great deal of their menu. The food is quite good - we have been back a few times already. If they ever get a gluten free pizza crust (they don't currently have one), then I'd be done for and they would definitely start recognizing me! They get quite a bit of light inside, they have sports on tv, and a they have a nice friendly atmosphere. You order your food with a code on the table and they are very fast about getting food and drinks out to you. When cashing out, the auto tip it sets to is 25% so I would caution you to pay attention as you click through the app and tip whatever you would prefer! The parking is neighborhood street parking and it can be quite difficult to find depending on when you go.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience here. My food was good, the drinks were good, I was able to watch the game from my seat, the place is clean and ambient, and their service is a pleasure to deal with. One thing to note, parking is pretty bad. They do not have a dedicated parking lot. It's street parking first come first serve. Almost as bad as trying to park down town. I ended up parking a block away around the corner. I like the decoration, but it is a bit dark inside like most pubs. Lately I've been finding a lot of bright and spacious drinking spots. This place almost has bbq house vibes. They also have a cool themed covered outdoor seating. A great environment to come with friends. The food selection is better than the average pub in my opinion. I ordered the salmon and my date ordered the burger. We could barely finish all of our food. I blame their tasty drinks for filling us up. I tried their currant cider and it was good. My partner and I tried a few beers before picking one. Most had great flavor, but it's opinionated.

Yelp
They have fabulous dishes in the friendliest environment with conscientious staff, and at reasonable prices for Seattle. In 10 years of eating here we've never had a bad meal. How many Seattle restaurants have come and gone that you could say the same about. Seeing all the different dog's is really fun too. Thank you to the Barking Dog staff for always making everyone and their dog's welcome!

Yelp
Well, it's 2024, two years later. This place would be so easy to like.. the menu is REALLY creative, and seems great. The beer selection is pretty good. But.. wait for it.... In 2022 they had this whole stupid order at the counter thing, and lose your table if you get up and try to get a 2nd beer. Now... it is this ridiculous order via QR code. I am told that you can order with a real person, but they don't really offer that. So, you dick around with the QR code menu. This all takes more time than you would like. Then, food comes quickly, but it is delivered via multiple people, so who is really my server, my representative? Along the way I can't flag anyone down, because the guy is going 100 mph. Finally I go to pay bill through QR code thing, and it defaults to %22. Are you kidding me?? We barely interacted with anyone. Who is getting the tip? So, I go 'Custom' tip, and do 15%, which I think was WAY generous ! Now, doing this, the app never asked me how much I want to tip. It just closes the bill out. So, I'm like, wtf, over?? Did this person get my tip, or did they get stiffed? So, I have to wait again, to stop this guy as he runs around like crazy, and I have to ask him to go into the system and tell me if I actually tipped him. He shows me I did not. He is clearly irritated that I am not comfortable with the stupid app, and basically interrupt him to say, "Dude, I am only trying to see that you get compensated." He put up his hand as if to say, "talk to da hand" , I'm done here. There are so many other good places that don't have this app system, as well as you don't have to step over dogs and screaming kids. ‍

Yelp
Okay. Nice setting in an eclectic neighborhood. I had the Date Night pizza- GF. The crust was like a dry cracker, with no texture. The pizza was so bland- no sauce at all- and very little prosciutto. Arugula was good, which is great, as it was piled on. The goat cheese was yummy- Hubby like his Aloha Bowl. The drinks were good- always love a Block 15 brew! Our server was so nice! However, a dude who was in a hurry to shutdown asked me if I wanted a to-go box after I'd eaten only 2 small slices. Ugh. Hate that pressure!! Our dog was happy!
google avatar

Yelp
Great neighborhood gastropub. Friendly service in a warm, welcoming atmosphere with sports on TV in the bar area and a few pets and their owners inside and also at the outdoor tables.

Yelp
This alehouse is tucked away in a residential area, with a charming wooden trellis welcoming you to their outdoor seating area. I love trying new beer/cider when I go out, and this place had a good variety from local brewers. I can't remember exactly what my husband got but I think it was a delicious hazy IPA, while I got an awesome red ale from Wheelie Pop Brewing (I'll have to check out their tasting room in Ballard some time!). Now the food... it was a bit disappointing. We got the banh-mi sliders, which were basically pork belly between buns with some flavorless veggies and almost no sauce. Not pleasant, but I was starving so I grudgingly ate them just to fill the void in my stomach. Also got the bourbon burger which was good enough, but not up to my expectations. Some of the braised onions were too plastic-like and hard to chew (I spit them out), as if the outer layer had not been peeled off before cooking. The rest of the burger was easier to eat than the banh-mi sliders, but not good enough to make me want it again. The meat was ok, the fig jam/onions just didn't give much of that "pow!" that I was hoping for. The bleu cheese was good though. Speaking of bleu cheese, the burger came with bleu cheese fries. Well... they were overcooked fries with cold bleu cheese sprinkled on top. I love fries but I could not finish these. So, the outdoor atmosphere is awesome for having drinks while chatting with company, and the food presentation was actually quite nice, too, but as for the food's taste, I would not come back here for that.

Kimberly ..

Yelp
Sat outside, reading a book and enjoying a glass of wine with waffle fries. My pup was eyeing the fries! Unprompted, they brought my dog a water bowl and were so sweet with her. Can't wait to go back!

Alexis S.

Yelp
One of my favorite neighborhood spots!! Love that we can bring our pup to dinner. Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Great trivia nights too!

Kegan W.

Yelp
The food, service, & atmosphere are absolutely outstanding. Love this place and can bring my doggo. 10/10!

Yelp
This is like the third or fourth time we come here and we always order the same bowl but we change up the protein choice! Sooo the last two time I've visited I always have the same issue with my order. I'm lactose intolerant and CANNOT consume cheese, but somehow the cheese always comes in my order so i have to scrape the cheese and give it to my husband (in my culture we don't return food) The bowl is great and we love it! the service is quick and self service so no need to wait for someone you can also walk to the bar and order your food there or just scan and order They have GREAT choice of weekly specials so i do recommend visiting!
google avatar

Pratima M.

Yelp
A fun spot for beers and pub food! They have a great outdoor patio and are dog-friendly, so expect tons of cute pups hanging out there. The ordering system is super easy and they have a QR code at the table you can scan for the menu. You go in to order and they bring it out to the table! I got the City of Dreams pale ale and really loved it! It's not too bitter and has a citrusy taste -- tastes like an IPA but has a lower ABV. Overall, really loved this cozy vibe and would love to be back!

Alick L.

Yelp
Lively atmosphere, popular with locals. Staff is friendly. The outdoor seating is cozy next to the heaters even in the Jan weather.
google avatar

Jenna A.

Yelp
Knowledgeable, attentive staff give you the option to order with them or via the QR code, with no pressure either way. I've walked past this place and it seems like a neighborhood haunt kinda vibe - families celebrate milestones here and the patio is dog-friendly. Food came out quickly and was delicious (usually you only get one or the other) - I ordered the blackberry salmon bowl and it was delightful. I also got a Mexican Lager on tap that hit the spot. Will be coming back to try the rest of their menu!
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
The QR code system was a bit awkward. The simple 20 second task of saying "I'd like a burger with a Coke" now requires 5 minutes with a website. Plus, the new system charges a 1% service fee, which wasn't mentioned anywhere on the physical menu, sandwich board, or website. Getting nickel and dimed with random fees feels frustrating as a customer. If expenses are higher, please just raise your prices and don't bait and switch with the fees. I didn't know about this fee until checkout.
google avatar

Alana K.

Yelp
My husband came here a few weeks ago with a friend for burgers and drinks. Mid-afternoon, not too busy. He said the food and drinks were good and the ambiance was chill, but the service was non-existent. Neither of us are fans of this self-serve trend in restaurants where you order and pay through your phone so as not to interact with a human. So when he told me he overrode their default 25% tip I totally understood. What exactly is worthy of 25% tip when all someone did was drop off an order at a table?? So imagine our surprise to see a 25% unauthorized tip added to his emailed receipt anyway. Super shady. He and his friend have vowed never to go back as a result. We're spreading the word far and wide. What a bummer of a business move, Barking Dog.
google avatar

Cianna B.

Yelp
Came to check out their Wednesday night trivia. It was fairly crowded and we waited outside for about 20 min before we were able to get a space inside. The triva was lots of fun, although difficult for 2 people as there were lots of large teams. Cocktails and beer selection was decent. Some interesting food specials that looked fun to try if we end up back here again.

Christine A.

Yelp
I love this place. I could bring my puppy and the food is delicious. Other people are great. I don't love that you have to order on your phone from a QR code and then pay 25% tip. But it's worth it! As I said, the people are great, and the food is delicious
google avatar

Esmeralda P.

Yelp
The ambience was very cute, they ONLY have brunch on weekends. Something to keep in mind. Service was quick and efficient :) Sister and I ordered chicken so cal sandwich 5/10 : Fries were tasty. Tasted like dick's fries. Chicken on sándwich had no seasoning. :(

Cindy ..

Yelp
The ordering and payment process was super simple and easy with everything done on your phone. The patio is pet friendly, for warmer months. I got the Bloody Mary, chicken tenders + fries! Definitely upgrade to the waffle fries because it makes the meal feel special and different

Yelp
"You want to go where everyone knows your dog's name! " (queue the Cheers theme song here). What an amazing neighborhood restaurant and bar. Inside seating or outside. All comfy inside and out. Parking is a breeze. The staff is so attentive to your dining needs and your K9 needs. All served up with love. The menu is incredible and never boring. My wife is from Kauai and even she agrees their Loco Moco is the best. Thank you! 2 Paws Up!
google avatar

Jay H.

Yelp
Had a happy hour beer with my daughter - place was crowded and with a rich selection of pours. They don't serve food but you're welcome to bring takeout (especially from the burger place next door) which is actually a great concept - one place specializes in brews and the other on food! It was walking distance for us so think of it as a neighborhood watering hole.
google avatar

Forest B.

Yelp
Some of the best Chicken Tenders I've ever had here. Soft and flakey, they fall apart instantly in your mouth. The sweet potato and waffle fries are also fantastic and perfectly cooked. My wife loved her fish and chips, also flakey, yet crunchy and not overly cooked. The beer selection is also very good with lots of options.

Yelp
Neighborhood eating at its best! We are visiting the area and tried it out with family - so glad as it was a great experience. We had the Cuban sandwich with waffle fries and half kale Caesar salad. The Cuban was very filling and o reflowing with pork. Perfect sized. The kale Caesar salad was surprisingly good considering it kale in it. And of course, the beer was cold and well priced.

Daria M.

Yelp
First off, I am biased because I needed to find a place where we could eat outside together, on a nasty rainy day, with a dog. What I found was an enthusiastic greeting on a covered, well-heated patio. What surprised us all was how good the food was- we got interesting drinks and fresh tasty bowls with varied ingredients. We puzzled over where the QR code was- (finding it later on a tag hanging under the table (!), after we'd ordered inside. No big deal.) The only issue I had was twisting my knee on the horribly upthrust sidewalk at the hair salon next door. We'll be back- and no doubt will the others in the cozy, busy, restaurant, all enjoying themselves greatly, indoors and out.

Yelp
We love the Barking Dog. So when my best friend in the whole world came I was proud to bring them to our neighborhood bistro . So, what should have been 5 stars , which I should really give 3 , is a 4. It has been forever that the place had used a QR codes. My friends were not fans but I explained how this place took the best of Covid dinning and full service and melded it. That was until we were all asked to enter our names and phone numbers TO LOOK AT A MENU. The millennial kid helping me could not fathom my objection . I put in my data and shared my phone with the table but I was embarrassed . I am paying for dinner. I know inherently data is being captured when I pay , but that's my choice . The staff was great . The food top notch as usual but the guy who offered to take our order didn't know where from or what wines they had .(All California so further embarrassment .) He also did not know what Sechelt referred to regarding the salmon on the menu. Again sweet guy . Good food and service . My friends said it was the best Salmon they had had being here for a week in the city . But just kind of let down when your trying to show off. I just think that in Seattle we have started to lower our service and too many have forgotten what service should be. We are ok with to go container eating , fifty dollar burritos and servers who don't know a Cab from a Pinot. I appreciate the good attitude and delicious food but please consider what makes a truly good restaurant .

Yelp
The Barking Dog Alehouse is a local bar and restaurant that is dog friendly. The reason why I wanted to come here this evening was because dogs are not only just allowed outside (which the seating is not covered by the way) but also inside too. Please note that there is only (free) street parking but can be a challenge. Consider parking in the nearby neighborhood and walking over. My husband and I came here with our little girl dog to meet our 2 friends for happy hour (happy hour is every day from 3-6 pm). After we looked over the menus, we ended up getting: Hand Cut Fries, $4.50 prior to tax (Happy Hour)- Thought we would start off with some fries. The portion was good for sharing for the 4 of us. BYO Bowl, $12.50 prior to tax- Tasty fiber rich bowl of quinoa, arugula, thinly sliced grilled zucchini, squash and carrots, fried chickpeas, cucumbers and radishes all tossed with a lemon dill vinaigrette. I thought the portion size was good for 1 person, but if you are a big eater, you may want to pay extra to add additional protein (chicken, tofu, salmon, shrimp, etc). Pepperoni Pizza, $15.50 prior to tax- My husband liked this large size pizza. The crust reminded me of a pastry because it was somewhat flaky and had reminiscent flavors of a buttery crust. Pomegranate Cider, $7 prior to tax- This drink is 14 oz. I prefer my drinks to be fruity and on the sweeter side. So with ciders, sometimes I like them and sometimes I don't. I decided to take a chance on this cider and was happy to find that I did like it. The cider was mildly tart and didn't have any bitter flavors. The cider was more on a light sweet side and was smooth drinking it during my meal. Bodhizafa IPA, $5.75 prior to tax- This is the happy hour price, which is only $1 off the normal price. My husband enjoyed this drink and thought it was hoppy. I didn't like it, but I am not a big beer drinker. Roasted Rye Stout, $5.75 prior to tax- Also the happy hour price. This drink reminded me of Guinness. ---------------------------------- (Total= $56.15 after tax, prior to tip) When my husband ordered the pepperoni pizza, he thought he was ordering the one off of the happy hour menu. Our server did not bother to clarify and so we were surprised to see a significantly high price on our bill. She told us that this was the large size (regular price on the menu) and the happy hour pizza is very small. My husband actually wanted the small size since we are visiting from California and don't really have a place to keep leftovers. She did nothing to offer a price adjustment or anything. Also our server kept forgetting to refill our water (water is served in a glass bottle and so you can serve yourself. Service really could have been better. I did appreciate that 1 server came over and asked if he could give our little girl dog a treat. And our little girl gladly accepted it :) If our server had provided better service and asked us if we wanted the pizza from the happy hour menu or the regular menu, my rating would have been higher (she clearly knew that we were there for happy hour). I don't see myself ever wanting to come back here, even if I lived in the area.

Yelp
Friendly staff giving out treats for our pups (with permission). Super friendly crew of dog lovers and those without dogs. Awesome food and tasty beer! Reasonably priced menu. Cute little neighborhood location across for a barber shop!

Yelp
Great neighborhood place. Very dog and family friendly. But still super cool. Great beer selection and good fresh food. Try the bowls!

Yelp
Love going to the Dog for a beer or cocktail, but the food just isn't good. The pizzas are a wet mess, we had hand cut potato chips as an appy and they were cold and soggy. We so want them to get it right but we've resolved to just not eat there. Waiters and staff are nice but Covid is over and time to go back to table side services. The walk up and place order on the app is so European and not good. Then to automatically suggest 25% gratuities is ridiculous as we do all the work. Hope they figure it out as they are a neighborhood institution and love to support them.

Yelp
So we didn't get any food but - drinks were fine and service was awesome. Everyone was nice. Brought our dog and they came over with several treats. Put on the game we wanted. Very attentive. All these reviews complaining about the "tipping culture" - it was SO EASY for me to add in a custom tip. Don't bring this place down based on your inability to navigate a phone.

Yelp
Excellent afternoon meal to celebrate my guests in town. Leandra, our server, was helpful and friendly and the food was of course delicious. Big chunks of salmon on a bed of salad with special fresh sauces - berry and peach. Yum! One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. Especially nice to sit outside on a beautiful summer day.

Yelp
Great spot to relax from the work day & they have great outdoor seating! I would air to checking your bill as there was an instance where the tip amount that was charged was not authorized. I really enjoyed the fish tacos & kale salad and the good vibes!

Yelp
Solid location for beer and dinner. We had the lamb burger and a peach salad. Both solid but wouldn't order them again. The beer and ease/quick service made this place 4 stars. I'd give the food 3 stars. The peach salad had minimal peaches and a lot of bacon, a slightly odd combo and imbalance. Lamb burger was good and large amount of fries.

Yelp
Alas our search for a dog-friendly restaurant/bar was victorious. The Barking Dog is a haven for dog owners and pooches alike. Seating is indoor which is a plus given that most dog-friendly places only allow dogs in their patios. This small neighborhood restaurant/bar serves up delicious food, brews, and cocktails. They have a reasonably price happy hour menu and the bartender provides good recommendations for anyone who is undecided. We ordered from the happy hour menu and underestimated the serving sizes. The mini nachos were not exactly mini and quite delicious. The mini pizza was dinner plate size and can probably serve 2. The cod tacos was crispy and warm. The cheesy jalapeño tots was generously served with melted cheddar cheese and the stadium fries was still hot from the fryer. The mac and cheese was creamy and the only dish that was actually of small portion. I also ordered a cocktail called Son of a B*** (drink name per the bartender). The drink was a delicious concoction of bourbon, sugar, lemon, absinthe wash, and orange bitters. This drink was not on the menu. Service was phenomenal. The servers were courteous and even asked for permission to pet our dog. This little gem is definitely worth a return trip. The dog-friendly atmosphere, great happy hour menu, excellent service makes this a cozy and unique neighborhood bar.

Yelp
Some mids ass food. I paid nearly 50 dollars for the bang bang "bowl" and Philly sandwich. Sandwich was pretty basic and kinda cold, the bang bang bowl was literally a salad. If I woulda known I would never have paid for either of these dishes... disappointing for a splurge meal out with my partner. 2/5
