We visited over the holidays after reading that the restaurant was recognized by the Michelin Guide. For appetizers, we had roasted heirloom carrots and butternut squash soup. For our main courses, we tried the honeynut squash and John Dory. Unfortunately, the only dish we truly enjoyed was the butternut squash soup. The honeynut squash was bland, and the John Dory was dry. I don't remember much about the roasted heirloom carrots, other than there were a lot of root vegetables. After such a disappointing meal, we didn't bother ordering dessert, despite the tempting option of chocolate chunk cookies. We figured we could get better cookies back home.
The courtyard setting was lovely, but it was a bit chilly in December, even with a heat lamp. The service was slow, and we had trouble finding the restaurant. It's located inside the Sparrows Lodge, and the parking lot was small.
