Apparently, she came to the establishment to use the bathroom one night! The outdoor dining can seat plenty of seating (and they’re dog friendly!) In fact, if you bring your dog on 9/4, you can get a free beer courtesy of Five Borough Brewing! Service (5/5): It appeared that most of the patrons on this Sunday evening dined outdoors. However, we felt that there was plenty of service and we were well attended to. Food: Huge fan that their bun of choice is on potato buns!! Superior option. Their burger portions are on the smaller side. Fries could use some seasoning. Side salad was a bit bland. Wanda (5/5): Although we weren’t asked how we wanted the burger cooked, the burger was juicy and had a wonderful flavor. The caramelized onions along with the mushroom packed a lovely taste. Heidi (4/5): I should have stuck with their classic beef patties but the sausage was a great flavor as well. Just in comparison, the short rib brisket was the better part of the burger. Again, the sauce.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I ordered the mango habanero boneless wings and for my drink I had the “Razmatazz” cocktail with gin, fresh blackberries, lemon & creme de cassis) it was an incredibly delectable meal and cocktail combo! The wings were flavourful and juicy while the cocktails were strong and tasty. I highly reccomend you come here alone (or with friends) to appreciate the flavors and quality of what they have to offer. Huge shout out to Marius the bartender who curated a special cocktail for me at the end of my visit which I truly appreciated and enjoyed 😍🥰🥳🤩

Honestly giving this place 5 stars because I live fairly close and it provides a decent veggie burger. This is my second time here and my favorite part both times is the fries !! I do enjoy that I can choose most burger options and just swap for a veggie patty. On the hand my partner gets the beef and usually craves this place when we want a burger but don't want to go far.

This place has really good burgers and craft beer and the service is great - very friendly and quick. The wings however were dry, a little burnt, not very flavorful, and came with a very sad looking dangly pair of 2 celery sticks and had to ask for blue cheese on the side. I’m also not a fan of the QR Code menus where I have to squint at the tiny font on my phone. The burgers in the range of $17-20 come with a side of either fries or a small side salad - I always go with the latter to make it feel like a ‘healthy’ meal lol. The detailed Titanic-themed bathroom downstairs is pretty funny. They also have a stack of board games available but I’ve never seen anyone playing with them. If this were a dog-friendly establishment, I’d be coming here all the time.

We came for the Titanic bathroom, we stayed for the burger. The bathroom lived up to the hype and was absolutely worth the small trip from Bushwick. But the burger was so unexpectedly good—probably the best I've had in several years. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be here all the time.

I've officially tried all of the burgers spots on Vernon after a year and I can confidently say this is by far my favorite. Juicy, tender, perfectly cooked, good sauces, tons of variations. The appetizers are just ok, just get 2 burgers.

Burger was good the patty was pretty juicy! I ordered the Dixie burger which came with fries. Food came fast service was great. Location is also nice as there’re many restaurants and bars around. You’ll be surprised by the restroom :)

The Veggie Burger was a bit spicy for my taste, but good & fries were excellent. The bartender who originally took my order, is wonderful. This was quick too (takeout). I've eaten here as well.

The first time I went here, it was wonderful. My server was fun and down to earth and attentive. I lingered here for a long time. Had a great burger and a few cocktails. Enjoyed the space and had some fun banter about the newfound popularity of the bathrooms. This time was different. Maybe because it was a Saturday? But I don't think so. I just think my server was uninterested and terrible. The burger menu has changed, but still creative. So creative that I actually went boring and had "The Judith," which is called the basic Baroness burger, with brisket blend beef, bacon, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles, and sautéed onion (which was a wonderful addition to this burger). Though there are many interesting burgers with cool additions available: sautéed button mushrooms, burgers served in tomato bisque, a burger that is essentially a croque madame (Swiss, gruyere, ham, egg, dijon, and more). They have a French onion soup burger, a German style brat stuffed with brisket. A burger served with fried bologna, which was tempting, but I wasn't looking for something that heavy. There are also fried chicken and fish sandwiches available. I had a bourbon mule, which was pretty good. I would have had more, but the pure neglect made me flag down my server for the check and beat it out of there. The food is still good if you're looking for creative burgers. If you come at the right time, it won't be crowded (I got there around 4:45 and it was pretty empty, within an hour it was busy). The vibe is still ok, and the bathrooms are still cool to see (titanic themed, though this time they were covered in piss and smelled of piss). But the service this time was a bummer. Wouldn't stop me from coming back to try again, but would make me think twice and check out my other options for LIC.

At first, when I ordered this burger off the menu, I didn't know what to expect. I thought the burger would be injected with soup or that the soup would be somehow incorporated in the cooking process, but I was surprised to see that the burger was literally in the soup. Once I got past the initial shock, I was able to really enjoy the burger. The bathroom in the basement is its own experience and deserves a yelp page. Must go check it out when you visit and make sure to read the plaque beside the sink.

Best burgers in LIC? With best craft beer list? With a dog beauty pageant in warm weather??? Sign me up 7 days a week! This gem of a burger joint has it all! Good food, good beer, quirky ambiance, dog shows, cool bathrooms with Titanic references, dog shows, woman owned, and dog shows. You can tell I'm a fan of pups. Highly recommend the bacon burger, or cheese fries, or just about anything on the menu. The burgers are not large but they are PACKED with flavor. Not really sharable portions but you won't want to share this delicious stuff anyway. The Mac and cheese is super rich and goes well with beer. And there's always 5-6 great beers from NY on tap. The service can be slow based on the crowd/event, but is always courteous and kind. Can't complain about anything here!

Have been neighbors w this bar for a year-and-a-half and somehow have only gotten around to visiting now -- crazy, bc it's such a cozy spot, and I would totally visit again. Dimly lit on a Tuesday night, not too raucous (not piano karaoke night, after all). Snuck in before the kitchen closed and ordered the Dixie with fries (bbq patty) & the Tina (peanut butter bacon burger) with a house salad. Both were plated so cute -- the Tina sliced in half, face-down on a tiny cast iron pan. The salty pretzel bun and warm drippy peanut sauce and crispy bacon was quite the lovely trio & the patty itself wasn't so bad either. I had them take off the cheese bc I am lactose-intolerant but I'm sure that would have elevated the flavor profile even more. Fries and salad were solid! Enjoyed both the Smokehouse (never had such a smokey beer) & the Triumph (never had a rice lager). Service was fantastic & the decor provides great ambience. They always have fun signs outside too.

Stopped by with a group of friends for drinks and food on a warm Fri nite .. they were busy .. menu's are all online so you need to scan the QR code .. friendly staffers but wished there were more of them .. sat outside, which was completely necessary on hot summer nights .. the Raw Lager #1 was quite the favorite .. burgers are solid too, on the juicy medium rare side .. wings are smoky .. yes bathrooms (downstairs) are unique, no spoilers from me

I visited The Baroness for happy hour on a Friday with a large group of friends and it's great! The burger was delicious and filling. The waiter was attentive, he served us water and checked in regularly. The bathroom is quite the experience and definitely the most unique bathroom I've ever seen. They had a DJ after 7pm so it got quite loud and busy. The place is good for small parties like 5, anything after that can get a little uncomfortable. I would love to visit again to try their other burgers as well.

I should have trusted my instincts when the place was completely empty. But I live around the corner and have seen people eat here on sunny days. I ordered a Reba which is a chicken sandwich. A staff pick at that! It was a sad excuse for a chicken sandwich. Not sure what cut that sliver of meat was , but the breading was thicker than the cut and it was not good. I couldn't finish it, and got a slice from across the street for 1/4 of the price and way more satisfying

Nice Williamsburg styled bricked bar. Staff can be ornery and some can be nice. The food was, fine. Came in to celebrate a friend's bday. Had the pretzel app- good as expected, also had a cheeseburger wanton, nothing crazy but good. Moved on to the swazy burger- put together and held really well... but it wasn't the warmest and there was literally one piece of lonely bacon where the menu says double bacon...disappointing. What's more the smashed patties tasted burnt at the edges... not great. The other options on the menu are kind of interesting, like peanut sauce on an otherwise good burger... I just wasn't enticed by the burger selection or what I actually ate. The place is clean and so are the bathrooms. I had good banter with the bartenders but some in my party said they were being treated and spoken to rudely by the same bartenders. I see from other reviews it's a hit or miss. Id probably try the chix sandwich if I came back

Good for burgers. I ordered The Tina (peanut butter and classic bacon + patty). The peanut butter and fat on the bacon worked together really well. I wish there was a bit more sauce but it was enough. The salad was a bit smaller than I was expecting. I'd give this a 4.5/5. Okay now that we're sorted with food, onto the rest of the experience. I came in with a group of 12 people on a Saturday evening. They put us in a room in the back, just past the bar area. There was dim, warm lighting, and a small stage with drums and other instruments on it. I guess they have performances here regularly. Originally the tables were set up at different angles in the room. The staff suggested moving the tables to form a square so our group could face each other. That was thoughtful. They took orders from people as they became ready so some food came out first then others. It seemed a bit chaotic with each person in our group at a different pace. One of our friends even paid separately, before the rest of the group and no one knew until we were all trying to split the bill. I am not usually a burger person but since we were at a burger spot I got one and it did not disappoint. I could have eaten a second one. Overall 5/5 food and experience. Would return for future burger cravings if I was in the area.

After a long day of exploring LIC, we found this gem known for their burgers... we are both burger fiends, so we decided to give it a go! We walk in to an intimate interior - this place definitely seems more of a small group setting. It wasn't super crowded, though we did go fairly late and it was absolutely frigid outside. I could imagine on nicer days it would be a little tougher to get a table. The bathroom was titanic themed. To start we split the cheeseburger wontons and the jalapeño grilled cheese. Both were delicious, but I'd say I preferred the grilled cheese a tiny bit more (I'm a sucker for a grilled cheese when it's cold out). We also split the Tina which was their peanut butter and bacon burger. Growing up, my parents would sometimes make me a peanut butter and bacon sandwich as a treat. This is a combination I've spoken with a bunch of friends about, all who have never had or heard of it, so to find it on the menu made me so excited. We had to! The burger was amazing, absolutely smothered in peanut butter sauce which paired well with the bacon. There was a lot of PB left over in the skillet so we dipped some of the fries in too. I think this burger is now in my top 5 NYC burgers.. I hope to come back to try some of their others!

LIC local here Came here on a Thursday night to satisfy a burger craving with some friends and to enjoy the Piano Bar. Unfortunately, we were told that the piano bar wasn't performing that night, but we still tried to make the most of it. I was really disappointed when I got my burger, the patty was extremely burnt and I was shocked that they would even serve food that burnt. Won't be coming back here

This place was so delicious! We got the swayze burger and the Dixie and it was 10/10. The shoe string fries were great too! The decor is pretty cool, old vinyls and camera displayed along with cool makeshift style windows between booths. The burgers were jam packed with flavor. They were served medium rare and that is stated on the menu so if red isn't your thing - be sure to specify how you want your burger.

Ordered a canned lager, got brought a canned IPA. When I went to the bar to switch it out and get the beer that I had actually ordered, it took about 5 minutes to get the bartender to come to me and stop playing on his apple watch. Then he proceeded to argue with me rather than just switching it out. I didn't end up getting the beer I wanted, because he kept arguing with me. I just caved and got the first draft lager I saw, because the cans seemed to be too confusing for him. He was incredibly rude to not just me, but the other guests I was with as well. Disappointing since this place seemed so cool.

They have COCKROACHES behind the bar, German cockroaches (the dangerous kind). I went late in the day around 8:00p.m to grab burger's and beer's with friends, I saw about 3 to 6 cockroaches going in and out of the lower cabinets on the far left of the bar next to the register. Disappointing and also disgusting.

A local bar with craft beer and yummy burgers. We walked in on a rainy Saturday evening and the place was jam-packed. We were able to score a table with limited wait time though. Ordered the "Dixie," "Suzy Q" burgers, and the "Carolina Gold" wings. The burgers were tasty but the wings were a total miss. The wings were topped off with mustard - couldn't taste anything else.

The drinks are delicious! The service was okay, they didn't check in on us after taking our order. The bathroom was obviously fun, but it was probably the filthiest I've come across in the city. The salad was good but came without dressing by their fault and when I asked for a side of it, they charged me. It was really hot when we went, I guess no AC inside, they had a fan going. There are board games, which is fun.

One of the best burger spots in NYC for sure. Creative burgers and wonderful people Update: after the 7th visit, we can confidently say that we have eliminated most of the burger places in NYC. If you love cheese, a lot of cheese, "Whitney" is the BEST Mac N Cheese burger period. Suzy Q has a Mexican twist and a little spicy. The Brenda is the best value if you like Birria - a lot of meat and simply delicious. Their boneless wings are the best - the bone-ins are also great they smoked the wings themselves for many many hours - we just prefer the boneless version. Great beers and friendly staff, Ed, Nick, Simon are always welcoming and helpful. Loved every visit and we'll be sure to go back every couple weeks! Thanks for being awesome :)

Walked in on a weekday when they had some kind of drag bingo going on so the music was loud as well as the microphone. Good thing we came towards the end of the show. Not exactly our vibe but their burgers def hit the spot. We will for sure come back whenever the burger craving hit again. Was able to switch to soft buns instead of their pretzel ones since I'm not a fan of pretzel (heard the chef is quite picky about his menu). You won't be asked how you'd like your meat cooked but put your trust on the chef cause our burgers were cooked perfectly. It was juicy and tender on the inside with a nice charred crust, chef kiss. Oh and the fries? We left no crumbs. We got the SWAYZE and Francine burgers, will be back to try others.

Waited a little long to be seated but the staff was nice when they did recognize I was there. The Burger was really good. I also liked the titanic theme. The drinks kinda felt like a rip off because they put a fist sized ice cube in my drink that took up the whole glass which cost $18 dollars definitely not worth the 3 sips. Overall I would come back for the burger and skip the drinks.

Where to start? The service was good, attentive. But the food...first, the ahi salad was a NAH-hi! Flavor, texture and presentation missed on every level. Made me think was this a fill-in chef this night? The Buffalo wings were not flavorful, small, and made me wonder if I ordered the Bakersfield wings. The "ay si" lager pale beer was good. If you go, try it. It was similar to a corona (description from the server) but had more flavor and body. Bottom line is the Baroness has to do better because the quality of the food was a huge let down and we really wanted to like it. The menu and the advertising makes you think you are going to get a terrific meal but when it comes out, it's pretty bad. We left 3/4 of the food uneaten and grabbed quesadillas from the food truck afterwards.

I was in the area and really wanted a burger. I found this bar and I was very satisfied with the burger. My concern and dislike was the lack of fries that came with the meal. There could of been way more. I had bar service and it was pleasant. They were about to have sex in the city drag trivia. I stayed for a few minutes and it seemed fun for those participating.

I have been to Baroness a few times, mostly for drinks, but went last week to get food. The bar is very cute, with these great Celine Dion / Titanic-themed bathrooms. Service is good. There are lots of themed nights here, including trivia, piano night, and drag bingo. I've tried a couple of the dishes here, including the Chicken Wings (hot) and the Skillet Mac N' Cheese. The wings are pretty good, nice to share. The mac n' cheese was tasty, very cheesy and also a nice appetizer to share. I've never tried the veggie burgers here, but definitely would like to on a future visit. I really like the Baroness. It's a good neighborhood addition that has a lot to offer!

Not sure why there's so many negative reviews about the staff - they were super attentive, provided us with alllll of their personal recommendations, and gave our pup a water bowl without us having to ask. We received a very warm welcome. Now onto the food - go with the server's recommendations, I went rogue and got the one burger they didn't recommend: the "Francine." It was good but not the belly bomber I was hoping for, I also thought it would have more of a chunky onion bloomin-onion feel to it - chalk it up to getting overwhelmed by all the delectable options! My boyfriend on the other hand, ordered right with "the Whitney." I mean, punch us both right in the mouth For drinks - we got some breakfast cocktail reminiscent of The Dude's fav White Russian drink and I got the Rosemary Clooney - Both great! Will def be back!! Ask for Katherine!

Come for the food, stay for the kitsch! Loved the Whitney burger, black and white wings + fries and Mac n cheese are also good--these ppl know comfort food. As a huge fan of the great divas I appreciated all the drinks and burgers being named after everyone from Rosemary Clooney to Mariah. The Titanic-themed bathroom is an experience unto itself. Great time!!

Favorite burger spot in LIC! FOOD: Artisanal burgers that are just as delicious as they are creative. Ingredients are quite unique (our burgers had red corn!). Quite a great selection of beers, never been disappointed by their selection available. PRICE: A tad pricey for a burger and the size, but well worth every dollar for the taste and ingredients--expect more than just your typical burger. VIBES: Quite a nice date spot--dimmed lights, friendly staff, and amazing drinks on tap.

The ambiance is phenomenal. The drink menu is large making it easy for everyone in your party to find something they'll enjoy.

I have been here twice since it has rebranded both on Saturday nights in winter. The first time was excellent and the old fashioned recipe on the left side of the bar wall was well done. The next time I went we ordered the old fashioned on the right side. Though it was still OK, it seemed watered down a bit. That second experience was primarily disappointing as the bartender didn't really seem welcoming. He talked about how much he loved Bernie Sanders and despised Donald Trump. He was mocking some of the suburbs of NYC for being "too Republican." I personally did not vote for Donald Trump either time, but I just didn't feel it was appropriate to talk about in the tone he did. It's fine to have whatever opinion one has, but as a bartender he should have been welcoming to all customers. Even people who agree with him may not want to talk about it with the aggressive tone he had. Since I live in the neighborhood I will try again as I want to support local businesses. Hopefully it was just an off night for the gentleman. Though given NYC politics this may make going to the establishment more appealing for some. Just be prepared to pay nearly $20 for a cocktail.

Sometimes this place is awesome. Sometimes it's disappointing. It's pretty inconsistent. Smoked wings have been good on most occasions but the last time it was overly salty. Skillet Mac n cheese was good once. Another time, it was just a warmed up mac n cheese in a microwave, some fresh cheese on top and dumped on a non sizzling skillet. Kinda fake. Burgers were good. Then they were ok. Takeout was awesome again and then the last time we had it, it tasted weird. Again, inconsistent all around.

Woot! Baroness taking over the former Corner Bistro spot (...no tears here) was very exciting news, have always been meaning to swing by to try their droolworthy burgers. And now, lo and behold, they've come to me! NOTE: for in-door dining, you need proof of vaccination - which is friggin great. (HINT: get vaxxed!!!!) They had their grand opening 2 thursday's ago, and I feel like it's been slammed every since! Finally made it over this past Sunday, and thankfully, no wait for a seat at the bar. A seat at the bar...wow. First time in a looooooong time. I was promptly attended to at the bar; used the QR code / menu to look up the taplist, which is very impressive. Prices could be a bit spensive - lots ~$10/12oz pours - albeit from Other Half. But there are some 16 oz. options and there are a nice amount of 16 oz. cans also available for $10ish as well. This time, I opted for the Green Empire Lo-Fi Playground - delicious! Aaaaand on to the main course - the burger. The Baroness has a tonnnn of incredible sounding burgers, but when I saw the 'Tina', it ws clear that was something I had to try. The Tina is a peanut burger and black pepper bacon burger - namely, a brisket short rib patty, smoked bacon, sharp Vermont cheddar, and smokey peanut sauce on a pretzel bun. Damn. First off, this is one of their 'skillet' type burgers - meaning, it's served cut in half, face down in whatever sauce or goodies your burger description has. And, so, this burger. If you like yourself some peanut butter, this is one you gotta try. Plus, who doesn't love a pretzel bun?? The patty was cooked perfectly, had a great char/crust as well. And while you might not think peanut butter sauce can't work on a burger...think again. I mean, it's not something I could eat every night, but it's a decandently delicious treat. And service (seated at the bar) was great. Not sure about some of the other recent complaints have been about (one was even about the whole vaccine-only inside thing...again, get friggin vaxxed already...it won't magnetize you...use your brain), but service on a Sunday around 630ish was just fine. Bartender/server was super nice, helpful with some decision making, and fairly attentive given the crowd-size. All-in-all, solid eats, lots of good craft beer...maybe I'm a simple kind of man, but I'll sure as hell be back.

I just love it here. The cocktails are so creative and tasty. Love the service and ambiance. Truly appreciate the bathroom. And the entertainment was phenomenal. While we didn't eat this time -- the guy's burger next to me smelled so good -- it was almost distracting

We had some friends visiting LIC for lunch so we went to The Baroness for lunch. We had never been before and had heard about the burgers. We met at 1pm for lunch. There was no one else in the restaurant. The bartender/waiter had no personality. He wasn't welcoming. He wasn't rude. The restaurant was freezing cold. Like No Heat. When we asked, the charmless waiter told us "its the landlord, sorry"...... I asked about the piano on Thursday nights... the bartender had no information. We had the burgers. I would not say they are the best burger in Queens. Not even close. Maybe it was an off experience. It was dark, boring, cold, the food was just ok, the waiter had no charm at all.... It was quiet and we were able to have a nice conversation.

Great burgers and great beers! Fun low-lit atmosphere with playful burger and beer names. The fries are also soo good and staff is friendly!

Met some friends here for a drink on a Tuesday evening when the bar wasn't busy. Not sure what his problem was, but the bartender was a total d*ckhead. I arrived late so once I sat down, I ordered a beer. The bartender completely ignored everyone else at the table and didn't bother to ask if they needed anything; and they did want to place an additional order. Once he returned with my beer, they placed their order and the guy gave us an attitude, asking if we "needed anything else so I don't have to keep going back and forth." Perhaps if you asked or even looked in their direction, you wouldn't need to go back and forth. When paying the bill, rather than split the check, I gave my portion in cash and the rest was to be charged on one single card. Doesn't seem too complicated, right? Well it seemed to be a huge issue for this guy. He had to ask multiple times what we wanted to do, and could be overheard cursing at us as he walked away from our table. Never coming back here.

Wow. Wow. Great spot! I had the Whitney burger. It's a Mac and cheese stuffed burger with bacon! Need i say more? Nope! Was it good?! Ohhh hell YES! TASTY AND GONE. I meant to take a pic but....I was hungry. The shoe string fried were standard. Their beer menu was smacking the lips, beat my little heart solid. "Double fluffed stout"....I know they don't make it but damn! Obviously hated this place! Only issue: a little political. I'm coming in from Arizona. I was forced to sit outside because I was vaccinated. Enter the birdcage.... sucks!

Your typical trendy gastropub that prioritizes vibe, aesthetics, and punny cocktails and menu items over, you know, actual good food and customer service. After being made to wait at least 15 minutes before anyone came over to our table, I asked for a bacon cheeseburger. Our server, a male, gave me a snarky grin and said, "Sorry, this isn't Burger King." Apparently they don't do substitutions. Fair enough. But a lot of their burgers had cheese and bacon, so it's just ordering whatever dumb menu item there is and subtracting whatever else they put on. That's a subtraction; not a substitution. But that's beside the point. Our sever had no right to take that attitude with me, especially after our group had to wait so long to get service of any kind. I can honestly never recall being talked to that way by a restaurant employee my whole life. I'll add that when the burger arrived, it was simply fine. Nothing to write home about. Guess what? Burger King would've been better, and half the price. And there wouldn't have been pulsating music blaring loudly in your ears, making you have to scream to be heard. A really awful experience!

Friendly staff and an amazing step up from from your average burger. A serious challenge for others who think their s is the best.

This was my first visit to The Baroness. It was a Wednesday at noon for a pre-Broadway matinee show meal. I took a seat at the bar. There is not much seating at all indoors so luckily they have the means to provide the majority of the seats outside. I saw a sign about them having one of the most fun bathrooms in the city but I didn't check it out. The 'fun' part scared me. It was a frightening situation for a luddite like myself when presented with the QR code for the menu. I don't own a phone but luckily I was already informed of the menu beforehand. I enjoyed The Tina burger with fries while listening to a variety of tunes from all genres and decades. The burger was smaller than expected and can be labeled lunch sized no matter what part of the day you eat it. Fries were similar to those at McDonald's. The burger was sliced in half. It was quite tasty and held together nicely. This was the first time I ever had peanut butter which dripped from the burger mixed with ketchup for my fries but I survived.

Simply put - I love The Baroness. Myself, and the regulars that frequent after work, can't get enough of the the food and drinks, but are especially fond of the staff who always make the evening great...and pour one hell of a martini. I cannot recommend this spot enough. If you love a great bar with actually great bar food and a staff that is as fluent in cocktails as they are in banter....you'll love this spot and it's one of a kind bathroom.

Very solid burger join in LIC - self described as the BEST burgers in Queens. And if it's not exactly that, it's giving any other place a run for its money. Came here with some friends after stopping by a more low-scale bar a couple blocks away, where the music had been too loud for us to think, let alone chat over drinks and food. The vibe and the decor in this place are pretty unique and fun. The have a stage for live music in the back, some very random paintings and swords hanging from the walls, and a stack of boardgames upon request. Oh, and the most interesting and captivating restrooms I've probably ever seen in NYC. Won't spoil it but give it a try for yourself and see if I'm wrong. It's a little bit on the pricey side - I paid $16 for a burger, and some of my friends paid $20 for theirs. That is a LOT of money for a damned burger, but again - it's pretty good quality. They have an extensive and creative menu, both in terms of food and drinks - there's something for everybody, and the quality is always quite good as I said. Only downside was that our server was visibly kinda annoyed and short on patience when we came in - unsure if it's because we showed up around 10:00-ish and they wanted to start closing down early, or something. However he brought us our drinks and food quickly, which is what matters. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Love the burgers here, love the huntress , but I do not like the service here. Last time I had a group of guys take a two seater table from me , this time I had some guy who just ignored me skipped the line! And this really bothered me, for every burger you buy you have to buy a drink. I get it, businesses are taking a hit and I can understand why they have this policy. Baroness , your burgers are fantastic and I'll still stop by for a burger regardless.

Okay so apparently this place has the BEST burgers in Queens. So you know I had to check it out. We ordered the classic signature burger (with no substitutions because it's been made that way for years) and the Adele. I was blown away by the Adele because of its uniqueness and flavor. the buns was a little soggy but I guess that's the point of soaking it in French-onion soup. It was very flavorful and big. The original was a little disappointing. Felt like a hamburger with sauce. It was also pretty small but overall still decent. Will definitely come back to try the rest. The burgers were ranging from $13-$20 and it came with a side of salad or shoe string fries.

Really loved the place , energy Got burgers and wings (wings were really yummy very well prepared ) Buy my goodness you wanna come here for the burger That French onion soup burger tasted exactly like French onion soup ! If it sounds odd to you if you are Into classic burgers go for it But their flavors are worth risking your comfort zone .. meat quality - very high as well

Late posted, came in about a month ago. With so many mixed reviews, I figured to try it to see for myself. This place has character, I like the old-fashioned retro look. The server was nice and friendly. I didn't have a 'wow' experience on the Barbara Burger, but it was not bad.

The Baroness is A-OK with me! On this, my second visit to The Baroness, I once again had a good experience! That is, just like before, the burgers, the sides, and the drinks were all spot on. Some of the highlights included one of their new burgers, the Adele, which is stuffed with French Onion Soup! I'm not sure if it's a seasonable burger, but if they still have it on your next visit, you should try it... although you might be torn b/c there's the delicious Marilyn burger (stuffed with mac & cheese), the Priscilla (the one with peanut butter)... oh, who am fooling--they are ALL good, so will be hard for you to decide for sure! When it comes to sides, The Baroness also does things right! But a word of warning: You will not find any fries in this place. Yep, they only feature potato salad, mac & cheese, slaw, and baked beans as sides... but, have no fear, they are all tasty! Drink-wise, The Baroness is just a beer and wine joint, but they feature tons of cool craft beers on tap. So, hopefully, you'll hopefully be able to find something tasty to sip!
