"The retro vibe of The Barrymore at the Royal Resort is enough reason to visit this gem just off the Strip and near the Las Vegas Convention Center. But the mocktails here offer a refreshing break from alcohol. The Fauxito features lime, mint, and fresh berries; the Domesticated Mule combines ginger shrub, limeade, and sparkling water; while the peach Bellini mixes white peach puree and Fever Tree ginger beer. All go for $10 each." - Susan Stapleton, Maddy Sweitzer-Lamme

"The Barrymore has only been around since 2011, but it feels like a timeless Las Vegas hideaway. Hidden just off-Strip inside the Royal Resort, the retro restaurant serves a menu worthy of the Rat Pack. Pan-seared foie gras, served with duck crackling, blackberry gastrique, and apple brûlée, is not to be missed. Diners can also add foie gras to any steak for $19." - Krista Diamond

Great service with a vintage Vegas feel is what The Barrymore offers to it's diners. It is a locals favorite and can be found nestled within the Royal Resort. The customer service was great and the food was on point. Steaks were cooked perfectly, sides were super tasty, and the dessert was to die for. It was a great experience and we will be back again. 5 stars.

Good steak restaurant with a huge selection of wines and a very competent sommelier. We haven't had luck with our first steak. They weren't grilled to the point. The second were a lot better. Good quality of meat. Very cozy inside.

Been to many good steak houses and honestly this one really stands out, small, private, romantic and food came out perfect. We loved the fact that they have very few tables so the server was practically for our selves, very kind, attentive and funny. I'd recommend this restaurant if you want to come and have a romantic dinner with your loved one. Only reason I can't give a give star is because everything on the dishes besides the steak are add-ons, most places pair the dishes with at least one side. Regardless it was a great experience, highly recommended.

We had our wedding reception here July 2016. Went back 5/28/17. It's been an awesome experience both times. The customer service here is just outstanding. The place is beautiful and the food is absolutely delicious. I haven't tried a single thing here that I didn't love. I highly recommend the lobster Mac n'cheese. My husband and I def plan to make a visit every time we are in Vegas. This is a true Vegas hidden gem. A must try. I give it a 10 star out if 5!!!!

The Barrymore is an elegant and unique experience. The staff is very attentive and confident in taking care of most every request you may have. The meals are priced adequately, however not the most precisely prepared as the experience. I had the filet mignon and the lobster creamed corn as a side. The steak was slightly over cooked and had a slightly charred and over seasoned taste throughout. The side of lobster creamed corn was absolutely delicious and amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting to feel like they own the place to themselves.

Always a good time. One of best happy hours in town...until 7pm. Wednesday is good day for locals as bottles of wine are half price. GM Brian and his team continue to do a great job of not turning their backs to locals...as they balance the convention masses. Prices are always reasonable, parking is free and menu changes during seasons. Centrally located and easy access too. Food is well presented and great portions. French fries might be best in town. Curry spaghetti squash was phenomenal. Resturant is totally swanky with classic Hollywood feel. Staff is accomodating, efficient and personable. You are not treated like just a number here. They are happy for your business as know ultimate upsell is your repeat visit. Do yourself a favor and head in this direction, they are doing the right things. Well done!!!

The setting service was nice but the food looked great but it was a hit and miss. The steaks and lobster were over cooked or the quality was off, the risotto was also over cooked. I will just stop there. Wasn't pleased. Just OK oh excellent salad.

The ambiance is really amazing, the waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, the wine/champagne and the history of the restaurant (which is actually really interesting). The food was not overly expensive and was perfectly done and presented. Was really a great experience and would recommend to anyone looking for something special. It’s a hidden gem. Don’t be put off by the parking lot, park at the hotel.
