Everything was so so soooo delicious! We stopped in on our drive back to Michigan for one last vegan Nashville spot & it was incredible!! We grabbed the hot chikn sammy & some jalapeño popper fries and had to grab some more goodies to take home with us! Everyone was so kind and the vibe was just right! Shout out to Guerilla Bizkits for the awesome recommendation!

Wish I had enough time to visit this restaurant in-person. Zero regrets on using Uber Eats to schedule a delivery. The food was phenomenal. The taco crunch was yummy AF. Next time I would ask for hot sauce. The kale caesar salad was large and delicious and all the right amounts of crunchy. The plain fries were good. Definitely would have been better fresh and hot. I take full responsibility for ordering them knowing that there would be a delay between them being cooked and when I would consume them. Knowing it would be an extra busy day and needing to make sure everything I ate was vegan-friendly, I placed & scheduled my order through Uber Eats with the plan of splitting the meal for both lunch and dinner. The order arrived on time and 100% complete. It was packages well. And despite not having a microwave at the hotel, the food was excellent later that evening for dinner. I hope the next time I'm in Nashville that I will have time to visit this establishment in person! Wish this vegan restaurant would pop up in more places across the US!!

We ordered The Picnic, the McRib combo, jalapeno popper waffle fries, and a shamrock shake (not pictured). Everything was absolutely phenomenal. The jalapeno fries were so good and were quickly devoured, The Picnic I ate half there and half the next day. It's just as good refrigerated. We ate inside and the staff are so nice while you wait. They also have a section where you can buy their meat, cheeses and other alternatives which was handy!

Reddit said this was the best place to go for a vegan Nashville Hot sandwich…. I’d say it was pretty good! I was just visiting from Georgia so I don’t know the criteria needed to be considered the best but I enjoyed the crispy seitan ch’ken and the amount of pickles on the sandwich! I also got a vanilla with Oreo milkshake that was thick and creamy! There were so many other things I wanted to buy from the grocery sections. Come ready to shop and eat!

I have been working hard to create my own hot tofu sandwich so I was eager to try theirs. Boy oh boy did it not disappoint. The entire menu was incredible; I tried my hardest to try everything. Highly recommend for any vegans out there looking to feel welcome and eat some comfort food!

After one visit this is now one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville. I only tried a few items, but they were so flavorful and tasty that I can't wait to try everything else! The wait time was short and the staff was friendly.

Hands down one of the best plant based restaurants we have ever been to and we’ve been to so many around the country. Our food and the Thai shake were incredible! We had the smashburger and the Taco crunch and both were unreal. My husband is fully vegan but I am not and dare I say, our food today was far better than any regular food you can buy! We will be craving this spot for a long while! Don’t miss this gem of a spot! It’s a must try!

I've only experienced the pepperoni as a product I purchased in Florida. The quality is the first vegan meat I've eaten directly out of the package and thought was delicious. Looking forward to trying more of their products.

As Nashville continues to grow, the vegetarian dinning options seem to be shrinking. That's why Nashville is lucky to still have the BE Hive and their delicious homemade seitan. They also famously supply homemade veggie "pepperoni" to some local pizzerias. If spice is your thing, the Nashville Hot seitan sandwich is highly recommended. I also can't get enough of the kale Caesar salad. They only have a couple of tables if you want to dine in, otherwise, get it to go. Do yourself a favor, try the BE Hive!

This was my favorite stop during my recent visit to Nashville. Went here on our way to visit The Gaylord, because obviously we need fuel for that excursion. I went with the brunch wrap and was thrilled with my choice. The just egg, bacun, queso and waffle fries was everything I could have asked for with my first meal of the day (but i would add a few jalapenos to it if i ever get back there). My gal pal got the taco crunch wrap and the jalapeño popper waffle fries... wowzers! Those fries are SMOTHERED in queso, jalapeños and their house made bacun. The sour cream on the fries is the perfect balance. Oh! I also got a double chocolate cookie that they make in house... I ate half while I waited for my crunch wrap. They also have so many grocery goods in the store! I didn't have the ability to carry food around all day, but what a treat to be able to get local kombucha, vegan ice cream sandwiches, salty snacks, jerkee, and more when you pop in to grab some lunch or dinner. 10/10 would return!

Great place to take your friends who are hesitant about vegan alternatives and a great staple for those trying to have a plant based diet. Wednesday is $5 crunchwraps and they have rotating specials on the weekends. Prices are a little bit steeper than your average deli but below what's typical for vegan options. Really excellent quality -- especially the cheese. All vegan cheese I've had tastes like chemicals except for Be-Hive which is a great sub for the real thing. The shop itself is adorable with some counter, booth, and outdoor seating. Service is always excellent and accommodating for any alterations.

Italian sandwich (cold) and nachos were so good! I tried the hot Italian sub, which had good flavor, but the cold Italian sandwich was the best, my husband and I both agree on it. There's just something about the contrast between the chewy bread, the crisp vegetables, the umami flavor of the vegan meat and cheese, and the delicious spread that they use. It's crave worthy. Each sandwich is so filling -- you will be stuffed. They even gave us a couple of cookies for free, which was probably the best vegan cookies I've ever had. Great service!!!

So impressed by this place! They have a decently sized plant based menu and well as plant based treats available to enjoy inside. They also offer their plant based products to take home & make yourself! While here, I enjoyed their taco crunchwrap which was delish as well as their pasta salad. Service was fast and staff was sweet and attentive ! Very cute diner vibes inside.

Best vegan deli in the world, Craig (not the city... the WORLD). What a gem to have BE Hive right in Nashville!! The sandwiches are top notch and I love that they have milkshakes now. If I had one complaint, it would be the "new" version of their kales Caesar.... The chick'n was much better than the chunks of fried tofu bricks they have now.... Imma still eat it though. Also, I look forward to the specials and $5 taco crunch Wednesdays.

Excellent plant based eatery in East Nashville. Both items we ordered - the Crunchwrap and the kale Cesar salad - were delicious. The meat alternatives were cooked well, had good texture, and were very flavorful. I would be back to try other things! We ordered food via the website, and it was a very easy process. Our estimated pickup time was 15-20 minutes, and it was ready in 10. We took it to go so we can't comment on the ambiance.

I got played. I thought that I was getting some real meat (which is much healthier than vegetarian fake food) but this stuff ended up being all vegetarian. It should be much more clear online about what kind of food that you're getting. Lame.

Every time we come here it's a treat! No matter what I get it's full of flavor. And that makes it so hard to choose from the menu. The people here are kind and knowledgeable even on the products they don't make. It's has a fun atmosphere here. You can't help but smile when come in and as you go out into the world.

vegan junk food paradise. the jalapeño popper fries were a hit. waffle fries, queso, bacon, ranch, jalapeños....can't get any better. i also got the buffalo chix sandwich. it was okay. I can't quite put my finger on it but it didn't hit as hard as i thought it would. I think I was expecting more flavor from the ranch/toppings and the texture of the patty/breading weren't doing it for me. it was still good though and the fries were a 10/10. i would definitely try other items.

Meh- lots of fried and greasy food. Mostly soy and gluten based. There was basically nothing I could eat there!

A store where I don't need to read the labels?? YES PLEASE. In addition, their wraps are some of the bests I've ever had. It's my go-to spot whenever I pass by Nashville.

I've been dreaming of this place ever since first trying its deli "meat" at my local Whole Foods, but this deli in-person BLEW THAT OUT OF THE WATER...unbelievably great vegan food!! We had the crunch wrap, the chicken sandwich, the pasta salad, and the breakfast scramble and honestly, all were without equal, simply speechless!!

SO GOOD! I'm not even vegan or vegetarian but this food slapped! I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got the crunch wrap. The Nashville hot chicken was had so much flavor and the best crunch! It tastes so much like a regular chicken sandwich, it baffles me that it's not meat. The chicken sandwich was spicy but not too spicy so if you are craving a lot of spice it might not be for you. I love the inclusion of onions as well it added a great dressing feel to it. My boyfriend describes the crunch wrap as delicious he said it's like Taco Bell but by far better lol he also HIGHLY recommends eating it with their ranch. He said the ranch was one of the best ranch dressings he's had. The portions look tiny but trust me when I say they are filling. Vegan or not Give this place a shot!

Got the tenders-2 bbq 2 Nashville hot. Satay too thick. Good coating but not worth the money. Didn't even finish one

This is a vegan deli, which is an odd new trend (there's one in Cincinnati, and a few in more coastal cities). It just seems like such a contradiction, and the aesthetic conveys to me a place that I wouldn't be comfortable in (as a virtually life-long vegetarian). And this particular shop definitely feels like a regular deli. But the options on offer are a small selection of fresh-cooked vegan food, and a wall of niche vegan products. There's some good stuff there, but I would guess that Nashville has other places to buy your Oatley, your Just Egg, and so on. From a prepared food perspective, I ordered a kale caesar that delivered about as much as I could have expected of it. Kale is definitely his or miss for me, but here it was texturally right, and the Nashville Hot non-chicken with grilled peppers and onions added an abundance of flavor. Even eaten hours later when the freshness wasn't ideal, it was still good. I in no way needed but was nonetheless tempted by a blueberry coconut cookie, which tasted as good as it looked. Pricey stuff, but it's nice to see the vegan market growing.

I had to throw away a pair of pants, a leather chair, and my mattress after eating here. Lost 8 pounds tho

Oh my..I can't say enough about this place. I found this place last time I came to Nashville. This visit I came to Juliet, TN. Well when I realized I was only 25 minutes away I was so excited. Their food is so good and the young lady taking orders was super sweet! I got the nachos, hot chicken sandwich and the cold Italian sandwich deconstructed. They have other items for purchase. I purchased some seasonings as well. Everything was delicious. That hot chicken sandwich and the Italian sandwich were the stars though. The chicken sandwich was so flavorful and crispy. The nachos had the best chips. I wasn't a fan of the cheese or their chili but it's just my tastebuds. I ate the Italian sandwich the next day! It was so good I wished I had purchased their deli meat to take back home with me. If you live or visit Nashville this is a must try!!!

As a passionate meat eater I typically enjoy razzing my vegetarian friends' subpar taste and generally poor life choices. Needless to say I wasn't thrilled when Be-Hive was the group-vote for late night munchies... um boy was I wrong. On this particular night.. the vegetarians won the flavor round. That food absolutely slapped. And yes - the taste was aided by certain... medicinal factors. So I decided to try it again for breakfast the following morning, unaided. Consider foot firmly planted in mouth. (pic included on OF) These be-hive folks know how to titillate the taste buds with mysterious non-meat flavor. I have no idea what's in there. They must have done a deal with the flavor devil himself - Guy Fieri. Hail Fieri. Regardless - we only occupy space on this planet for a short time, and Be-Hive is something to be had.

Wow. Ate the queso tots and Nashville hot chick's sandwich and a drink. Amazing flavor and texture. Will come back for more!!

I didn't want to leave Nashville without having a Nashville hot, so to the BE Hive we went. It was a tasty sandwich, but the real treat was the chili cheese tots. SO GOOD. They had lots of good things on the menu, and I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Wow this is an amazing deli!! I got the steak and cheese and the chili fries and both were a solid 10/10. This is the best vegan steak and cheese i've gotten. It was so flavorful, the cheese was melted well and the veggies were cooked nicely. The chili was also delicious. I could eat this meal over and over again. The inside of the place is very clean and there is seating available! The staff was also very kind and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone!

Fantastic! I am not vegan, but this food is so good you might not even realize it is vegan. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with a side of tater tots, which was great. Friendly people at the counter and cool retro-diner booths complete the picture.

One of my favorite travel activities is finding vegan restaurants. On our trip to Nashville January 2023 we ate a different vegan restaurant for every meal and the BE Hive was hands down the best food we ate on this trip. If you are in Nashville don't miss this.

I ordered a Grinder, onion rings, fries, and vanilla milkshake with Carmel. The grinder which was a hot sub tasted really good. The onion rings were room temperature by the time we picked up our food but still good. I know they would have been 10/10 if they were hot. Overall experience of the food was great and I'll be back for sure when I'm in the Nashville area again.

This vegan restaurant was in a recent issue of VegNews magazine. The article gave it rave reviews and stated it was a must try when in Nashville. So on our visit to this fun city last weekend, I decided to give it a try. First off, the parking is extremely limited and challenging. The restaurant itself is small with very limited seating as well. You order and pay at the counter and then wait for your food to be prepared. It was not a busy night, so we were able to sit at one of the two tables. We ordered the Nashville Hot sandwich, and then the cashier recommended their crunch wrap, so we ordered that as well. We were told that they make their own meat substituted there, and they had packaged versions for sale in their refrigerated case. The sandwich was good, but the bun it was served on was cold - as in just taken out of the ice box cold and very dense. The plant based chicken patty was breaded, fried and coated in a very spicy sauce. Slap me in the face and wake me up kind of spice - but delicious. I would have given this sandwich top honors except for that dense, flavorless cold bun!!!! Next up....the crunchwrap........one bite and I immediately spit it out!!!! Fortunately, I missed my husband, who was also having difficulty with the bite he had just taken! And that's all I have to say about that.....it remains in the wax paper it was served in and lies in a bin somewhere where it belongs. At this point, we did not have it in us to try anything else. There may or may not be other delicious things on the menu, but I will never know. We flew away somewhat confused as to what all the 'buzz' was about!!!!! ZZZZZZZ...........

Went to @thebehive for dope plant food last night and it was dope indeed. I got buffalo chickn tacos (of course I did) and the sour cream was out of this world. Others in my party got salads, the hot Italian sandwich, and chickn parm and everyone loved their food. (3 of them were not vegan and still loved it). Cute place (VERY) small inside but has some vegan groceries too. And a small parking lot for convenience. Really reasonable prices for a vegan spot in a tourist destination too! I would definitely come back to try more menu items!

It's VEGAN FOOD. We didn't know this and we ordered and the first bite was just different.. we were looking for a deli-- but missed all the signs it was vegan somehow Pictures look delicious though! So if you're in to it, probably pretty good

As a OTR truck driving vegan, I love to land in different cities and try out their fare. Of course most of the time for me its piecing together meals at various truck stops or black beans/tomatoes stewed over tortilla chips while on the road. So excuse me if I expect a lot because of the meager food I often experience. So I order Be-Hive with great anticipation and the giddyness of a ten year old on Christmas Eve awaiting to open my Daisy Red Ryder bb gun! However, a epic fail led to a classic disappointment. My order is pictured below. The fried tenders were not only overcooked and hard, they had been cooked hours ago (assumption). They weren't fresh. Absolutely had no bounce or tenderness to them and seitan is soft or should be unless someone cooks the everlasting taffy out of it! I was so disappointed and terribly exhausted from haven driven 9 hours that day that I couldn't even muster the energy to call them and report the assault on my teeth and taste buds. It was so tough that I had to bite it with my molars. Anywho, as far as Nashville being compared to Austin because of the ambiance and food, table that conversation for now. Reporting live from Dallas today...the Austinite!

The Crunchwrap was superb! The nashville hot chicken seemed less fresh, but still tasty. We went at a particularly busy moment, and they were apologizing to everyone about the long wait times (over 40 min) due to "first day of new menu". Parking is rough and seating is even more so. Would recommend though! I'd say just order ahead and get it to go.

This was the best vegan Nashville Hot Chik'n sandwich we had on our road trip. It was spicy, crispy, saucy/oily where our other sandwiches had dry seitan. The brioche bun was soft and lovely. I had the $5 crunchwrap special which was quite tasty. We ordered BBW wings, ended up with Buffalo wings, but they were excellent. I was actually torn between Buffalo style and BBQ, so it's all good. Crispy tasty coating and you can tell they use vegan butter in their sauce. I couldn't resist getting an Italian sub as well, which I ate for breakfast the next day. The sub was great - the pepperoni and deli slices with the fresh veggies and condiments were quite good. The roll was hearty rather than fluffy, which nicely absorbed the sandwichy goodness overnight. The storefront is tiny and red and tucked back from the street. The street has something strange going on with how the buildings are numbered, so we did struggle to find the place.

I am vegan, a former meat eater. Grew up in the nyc area eating the best steak and cheese sandwiches and spicy food; the best mexican: etc. Not only did the be-hive live up to the normal meat version but surpassed them in many ways. Flavors are amazing. But I gave myself the ultimate: whenever I would eat a real meat steak and cheese grinder for lunch I would immediately fall asleep. I'd feel sluggish and gross. After eating the Be-hive steak and chz I felt great. The ingredients are so clean and high quality. And it tastes exactly like the real thing. This place is a God send.

So good! You must go here! Great vegan sandwiches and grub! Don't miss it. Loved the candy bars, specials and potato salad!

I'm here In Nashville for work . By the way I'm a chef who enjoys vegan and vegetarian foods. I googled places to eat in the area and Behive popped up . And I'm soooo glad I did ! I took terrible pics to post because I was so hungry and the food was so damn good . I'm a real foodie I ordered everything I would like . Lol I ordered the hot Italian sandwich freaking amazing! Packed with meat flavor the oil the slice the cheese . Omg ! It was Wednesday so I bought 2 yup 2 crunch wraps! Packed with mad goodness oozing out of every bite . Oh it was banging ! Had to get the chilli cheese tots ! Because why not! And 4 cookies lol. 2 basic chocolate chip and 2 funnetti . Sweet baby Jesus ! Chef kiss and a golf clap ! I'll definitely be back . I wish I could bring my wife she's plant based and would love this place ! Great work and thank you ! Oh and the Vibes are great inside ! One Love peace

DELICIOUS! The sandwich I ate had the yummy flavors of the Philly steak sandwich I used to eat years ago but this vegan plant based 'steak' sandwich tastes so much better than what I remember eating but is so much more lighter and doesn't have that heavy after feel that eating meat tends to have on me. The GF mayo ( I may not be writing the exact right words ya'll use ) the seasonings in the mayo is yummy yum yum! I am almost certain I had read something about The BE Hive somewhere but hadn't had a chance to try it; so happy I got to eat the food you all make. YUM! DELICIOUS! If anyone that is reading this review has a chance to try The BE Hive, don't wait, do not hesitate, go! You won't regret it. Worth every penny. Much love ya'll. Your talent is so clear. So happy to have eaten your food. :)

I LOVE this place! They have house made vegan cuts and cheese that are well priced and to die for! This is a must stop in Nashville

Hands down, the best vegan food I've had that actually taste really good. And not just hyped up, the cookies were delicious. The service was quick and efficient, and the staff was so friendly with great smiles.

This place is amazing for any vegetarian or vegan. Their pepperoni is by far the best of their vegan meats. Everything is fantastic, but the pepperoni is the reason to go. Their fresh sandwiches are also worth the visit. If you are soy free they also take great care to make sure their allergens are listed and the employees know what is in what. The staff has also been very friendly and helpful each visit.

Wow.! I ordered the Crunchwrap and it was amazing ! So delicious and flavorful. I ordered using Uber eats so I don't know about the service or how it looks inside. But I would 100% get this again.

So happy I got to have some hot "chicken" in Nashville. This has easily been one of the hardest cities to eat vegetarian in (without just subsisting on nachos and fried pickles), and it was such a relief getting a good vegan meal here. The staff were very kind and sweet. In addition to whatever main food you get, the potato salad is well worth it as a side.

Oh my goodness, sooooooo good! We just stumbled onto the place, thought there was no way all the products could be plant-base and taste delicious, and we were so pleasantly surprised! I got the Italian, the boyfriend got the buffalo chicken and we split some nacho tots. I haven't had an Italian sandwich for over 2 years since switching to herbivore. I thought I'd never experience that tasty combo ever again. Dare I say, Be Hive does it better! Prices were surprisingly cheap for all plant-based products. The Italian was a 12" sandwich for $9.50. Cute shop with a couple tables outside to enjoy your new favorites.

Their food is the bomb every time. The crunch wrap is so good. All their subs are fantastic and flavorful, but be weary of salt because they tend to make me pretty thirsty! If you haven't tried this place you absolutely should.

DC (During COVID) I have a confession to make..I HAD to make two trips in one week for the double chocolate chip cookies! BUT the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. First, let me start with how you can order. Currently, you can order online, delivery, or pick up. They have put limited seating outside. I feel pretty safe, they ask that you wait in your car and bring your food to you. All workers were correctly wearing masks (covers nose and mouth), and gloves. The food wow I cannot believe I have never been here before. I have gotten the seitan at the store before and other restaurants and I have always liked it. On Wednesday I ordered their daily special $5 for the crunch wrap and wow it was so good! A little salty for me but man was it packed with seitan, lettuce, sour cream, pico, and vegan cheese which I appreciate since I have a sensitivity to lactose. On Saturday I had to make another stop because I couldn't resist missing out on their special of the day which is SPECIAL CHXN SANDWICH - Szechuan Orange So good! The orange-glazed was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The Chxn perfectly cooked it almost has a crunch. The slaw that came would it could use a little more "ump" maybe more green onions or a little acidity, but it balanced well with the sandwich. The dessert blew me away these double chocolate cookies could be sinful if it wasn't plant-based. Thank goodness! It was so chocolatey every bite has chocolate. I love how dark it was and how crunchy the outside and soft on the inside. I couldn't stop thinking about it for the rest of the week.

Wow! We had followed on IG but figured it would be tough to have the food taste as good or better than the pictures. We were so wrong. This Chixn sandwiches were insanely tasty. We had the specialty (chick parm) and the Nashville Hot sandwich. Anxious to head back and try more things!
