The Beans On Fire - Review - Montmartre - Paris - The Infatuation

"If you’re up early and want to see Paris wake up from the top of Montmartre, Beans on Fire is your spot. This two-level spot opens at 8am and is a good place to chill out after walking up the many hills to the Sacre Coeur. They offer pastries, but people are here for the cappuccinos and flat whites. Sit by the window, and watch tourists take photos outside (the mini mart on the corner is from Amélie) as you sip your café allongé or chai latte. You can also head to the basement to exploit the wifi." - Tanisha Townsend

We swung by this coffee spot this morning, and it did not let us down! The specialty coffee was exceptional, hitting the perfect notes to kick-start our day. What a fantastic way to wake up!

Sat in for an iced latte, and wowza. I drink coffee nearly daily and this was the best coffee I’ve had in a while. A reminder that not every bean is the same. Lots of seating upstairs and downstairs!

Such a charming spot! They use their own brand of coffee, which tastes great and comes in a variety of options. Definitely worth stopping by and giving it a try.

fabulous staff who immediately asked if we would like to order in english or french and were extremely kind and patient while we practiced our french!! the drinks were delicious and quickly prepared, the pastries looked fabulous but we had just eaten so were not able to try them. the music selection of folklore all the way through was top tier though 💯

A cozy café with excellent coffee and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quiet moment in a nice street close to Montmartre

Beautiful coffee shop, with high quality equipment and beans. Excellent service by a kind lady who spoke both French and English, she was extremely knowledgeable about the beans and it really shows in the coffee. They sell bags of beans, which are single-origin as well as Chemex and Aeropress filters. Seating on the street level and downstairs which were plentiful and clean. Dog-friendly! The best playlist too. 🎶 Highly recommend this little spot.

Coffee was not great though the service was nice and friendly hence the 2 stars. The flat white could have done with more espresso. If you go to Clove (coffee shop), which is just around the corner you will see what I'm talking about - it's on another level! The Chai latte was also average.

I ordered the banana cake and a cappuccino. The banana cake was dry and hard. It tasted old. Maybe you are lucky if you come early in the morning. The cappuccino was really nice. A weak one. You could enjoy this if you are not heavy coffee drinker. But the service was nice!
