Google
Awesome ride! My daughter and I had a blast! I wish we could have tipped the crew but I didn’t have any cash on me. It would be great if the company could provide a QR code so that you could tip that way. I definitely recommend seeing the Statue of Liberty this way if you like a speedboat and don’t mind getting wet (you will be sprayed by water guns so be prepared!)

Google
Exhilarating experience! Ideal activity for a hot day, be prepared to get splashed. It's a bumpy ride so read the safety information before booking. Staff were great & will take photos of you with your phone, plus there's a few minutes pause by the Statue of Liberty. Possibly not great for very small children, the little girl (around age 5 ) next to me was frightened by the rough ride & didn't enjoy parts of it.

Google
If you go on a Ferry and save 10 quid compared to this ride, you’re just wasting money even though you paid less. The experience made everyone smile and was very enjoyable. 30 minutes were just about right and let you go on with the rest of the day without wasting a whole morning or afternoon in a low speed ferry crammed with people that you have to fight to take a clear shot of the Statue of Liberty. Things to improve but that don’t deduct the rate: - it’s made look quite dangerous and crazy when in reality, yes it’s bumpy but nothing severe. It may dissuade people from riding when they would be absolutely fine - music could be a bit louder during higher speed parts (would be more enjoyable)

Google
Had a blast! Fantastic experience, can recommend it to anyone! Recommend to book your spot in advance. You'll need to be by the pier 30 mins before the ride starts, with tickets in hand. If you decide to sit more towards the front & center, you might get less wet but you'll also have higher amplitude when the speedboat jumps.

Google
Wonderful. Its a perfect ride for children lasts about 30 minutes It is very fun for adults and both for the little ones i recommend trying it. The staff was very fun and pleasant. 100% recommended.

Google
Very nice experience. Much more fun than crowdy and boring Fairy! Speed ride, with music and wind in your hair - the best way to see Statue of Liberty for the first time. I booked this ride for my kids, and they asked me to ride again)). Highly recommended! And very nice service on the boat, by the way!

Google
Great time. We went on a hot day. Nice price. We booked our tickets online just an hour before the trip. They stop in front of the statue of liberty and offer to go around and take pictures with your phone. We sat in the back so we got soaked. The first mate even walked around with a spray gun and buckets of water. It was great!! Be ready to get wet.

Google
Amazing experience. Must do for tourists. You can also get close to the Statue of Liberty and take pictures, so need for doing a separate Statue of Liberty cruise. It’s a huge “speed boat” thriller ride with amazing skyline views.

Yelp
After lugging around my 8 year old son all over NY for a few days, it was time to surprise him with something thrilling. And it was hot, Memorial weekend. I thought about doing a cruise and yea forget it for a his age.. He would have been bored out of his mind. I am SO glad we made the decision to go on the BEAST. Best decision ever. We had a BLAST. It should be renamed Beast the Blast. I was able to secure tickets the night before online. We went down to the harbor and when my son saw this green speed boat he was stoked! They got about 20-30 of us loaded in the boat and honestly it felt great blasting past that cruise boat. They started playing some pretty loud music and instantly did a quick lil' turn to get us a little wet. It felt great with the heat. They will tell you where to sit if you want to get wet or not get wet. My son really wanted to see the Statute of Liberty, so it was a quick and easy way to see it. They took us over to the Statute and also volunteered to take photos of each family in front of the statute from the boat. Along the way, there were incredible views of NJ and NY. They also made it fun for the few kids that were on the boat with plastic fishes and squirt guns. It was hilarious, I was laughing the entire time. Great memories and very safe. Make sure to bring some dollas to tip the guys after. Great guys that run the boat. Highly recommend.

Jonathan B.

Yelp
Tank and Diesel give you a killer tour of the Hudson down to the Statue of Liberty. You'll leave with some monster pics. Take a ride on the big ole green machine! You'll be enjoying the water almost as much as my dog.

Nehal A.

Yelp
A relatively cheaper activity to do in NYC, $30 for 30 minutes of speed boat is well worth it. The boarding starts 15 mins before the scheduled tour time. The boat has plenty of seats, but the ones in front have the best view. The boat starts from Pier 83, heads towards Statue of Liberty, racing along downtown NYC. The boat stops near Statue of Liberty for couple of minutes, giving time to riders to snap few pics. Heading back you get to see a gorgeous view of NYC harbor and financial district. They also make the trip fun with using some props like water gun and water balloons. I would totally go for this ride again sometime in future.

Priscilla V.

Yelp
What an awesome experience! Thank you to the great crew for helping out with helping us take picture

Royce R.

Yelp
I've been on a couple of Manhattan boat rides throughout the years, but let me tell you, The Beast is one of a kind! THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN!! For about 30 minutes you whip around the Hudson River and you WILL get wet, but that's the fun! You get unparalleled views of the entire city, including some major landmarks line Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty. They even pause for a few minutes in front of the Statue of Liberty and the workers ensure everyone gets a good pic. And about those workers, they are something else! If they see you aren't getting wet, beware they may throw water balloons or hit you with a water gun. They are just making sure you get your moneys worth!! Be sure you tip them when you leave because they certainly deserve it.

Bri E.

Yelp
Amazing amazing triple amazing experience. The crew is so cool and fun. I highly recommend doing this over a dinner boat cruise haha. Tank and the other staff on board really set the tone for this experience. Please remember to tip them on the way out because they definitely deserve it.

Shua P.

Yelp
I highly don't recommend this I recently went on this boat with a camp and I stood up for a half a second they turned around the boat and the whole camp had to go off the boat it is a scam don't go. If there is something like a 0 rating that's what I would give them

Eitan P.

Yelp
1. Awful service and they kicked us off after 5 seconds because a kid stood up for a second. They didn't even tell us any rules.

Caitlin C.

Yelp
Super fun ride for the price. Shout out to the driver for making it feel like a rollercoaster at some times and for playing awesome music! My friend N I really enjoyed it.

Kiki B.

Yelp
Absolutely the best thing my friends and I booked for our NYC trip. Seeing the Statue of Liberty was so awesome but there is so much more to the beast!! HIGHLY recommend doing it!!

Diana L.

Yelp
The boat is fast not boring the guides Are great Happy and you get to see nyc in minutes not long hours love it

Melissa I.

Yelp
One word: AWESOME! I wish this boat ride was an hour instead of 30 minutes. It felt so short! But it was so much fun. The staff was great. I loved all the water guns and water balloons to get people wet. I wouldn't exactly call this a sightseeing cruise, you don't get to see much other than the new World Trade Center or the Statue of Liberty but it was a load of fun. I would HIGHLY recommend this!

Ashley R.

Yelp
Woot woot!! The BEAST I must say was super fun for any age! My classroom teacher and I decided to take the students on a ride of the BEAST for an end of the summer trip! We had a group of 45 students, and each and everyone of them at the end of the boat had a BLAST! The ride on the boat itself was 30 minutes long, I guess the kid in me wished it was a bit longer! The captain and his crew member was super fun, they had water guns, great music, and made sure everyone got some what wet! The view of the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn bridge was awesome! If you are looking for something quick but fun, this is a must try!

Azi W.

Yelp
they kicked us off because one person stood up for a second. ruined the trip and do not recommed

Marc L.

Yelp
YOU WILL GET SOAKED! Had a great time on the Beast! This is a rock n roll approximately 30 minute speed boat cruise from 42nd street to the Statue of Liberty and back. I say rock n roll, because they blast music on the trip and make quick zig zags along the way to shake you up. Plus - while they tell you in advance that you risk getting wet on the ride, this is an understatement. You won't just get wet, you will get soaked! So if you are planning on doing anything after the Beast ride other than returning home so that you can completely change your clothes - well forget about it. Because you aren't going anywhere in public in the soaking wet clothes you'll be in when you arrive back at dry dock. Again - I had a ton of fun on this boat ride. I don't want to misrepresent that. I just want to make sure you know what you are getting into before headed out on the river! Enjoy!

Rich R.

Yelp
Imagine a fast boat with your captan and second mate look like they were hair band junkies. Then add triple motors, kick ass music and salty Hudson water. This would be the Beast. Screw the sleepy Circle line tour, it's for old folks swirling the grave, the Beast is for all who want a quickie on the water. Hear is the Effing statue, here is the island.....let's get wet. Just don't spray the old lady, only I get her wet. Much love....5 stars

Alexandra C.

Yelp
Why not, I'll give it a 5! It was a trip!

Amelia L.

Yelp
We bought discounted tickets through Groupon and went today on their first trip at 10am and had a blast. The first trip wasn't crowded at all. The trip itself was a little but short but so much fun. We did get wet a bit but not too much.

Jenn H.

Yelp
SO MUCH FUN! I have been doing this with my niece every year for the last 5 years and it never gets old. The crew on the boat is always fun and entertaining and they go out of their way to make sure the 30 minute ride is amazing. On a hot summer day it's probably one of my favorite hints to do in the city... not to mention I get the best tan on the water on those days:) I would suggest googling some discounts/coupons before you go just to see if you can get tickets at a cheaper price, if not it's still totally worth the full price through the circle people directly!

Barry W.

Yelp
*** I love this speedboat cruise. It is ~ 30min/$30. *** I have done it twice and I'll probably do it again next time. *** An exhilirating way to see Statue of Liberty & skyline. ***

Carlos O.

Yelp
I always wanted to go on this ride so what better way to do if with family and friends. The tickets are fairly priced $29 per person, which you can buy in person or buy online. Travels at around 45 mph and it take you close to the statue of liberty 100 feet away. As far as the seats in the beast I believe the seat belts need to be replace. The part that you lock on its made out of plastic. Every time the boat bounced on the waves my seat belt kept on getting loose. I did enjoy the panoramic view of midtown and lower Manhattan I loved it. I also enjoy the music which was Rocking soundtrack reminded me of the movie Mad Max. I did experience great twist and speed but not a lot of splashy actions. I would honestly recommend this to any one trying to do something different in the city. I took great pictures from my phone and my favorite picture I will post it up on here.

Edelyn M.

Yelp
This is a MUST if you got to NYC. It was an incredible experience and also very liberating !!! The staff on the boat made it super fun and the music was very good . All in all it was worth every penny , no regrets here !

Family Road Traveled N.

Yelp
I've lived in NYC for 20 years and one of my favorite things to do with visitors is take them on The Beast. This speedboat races through the NYC harbor at 45 miles per hour while pointing out NYC landmarks. It feels more like an amusement ride than a historical tour yet provides great photo opportunities of both the Statue of Liberty and Lower Manhattan...making it the perfect attraction for families. The boat crew pumps loud pop music once the boat gets cruising to get the crowd excited and splashes a kid or two along the way. The crew also kindly takes photos with your cameras of you in front of landmarks. It's operated by the same company that does the Circle line cruises (slower ferry style tours around Manhattan) and is located off Pier 83 which is near 42nd street on the West Side. This pier has other attractions too like the Intrepid Museum and Northern River Lobster Company. There is also a pretty awesome splash pad, water pump & play area and food attractions. My four year old is rarely afraid of anything. She loves roller coasters and is always willing to take risks. For a bit of the ride she was quite scared which really took me by surprise. After listening to her I realized she was afraid we'd fall into the water and get eaten by sharks. After convincing her I'd take good care of her and no one on the boat would let her fall overboard she relaxed and ultimately had a good time. Oh, there are no sharks in the Hudson River. I probably should have shown her a video of the speedboat in advance so she knew better what to expect. Tips: Reserve your tickets in advance. Spend about an hour on the pier beforehand to enjoy the attractions. Bring a bathing suit or change of clothes if you think your kids will want to play in the splash pad. Bring lots of sunscreen! Hats and sunglasses too. I brought a backpack full of snacks and bottles of water. This was easy to keep on the boat with us the whole time. This is not a good attraction to bring a stroller. Kids need to be 40″ to ride this ride. This is not advisable for pregnant woman or anyone with back problems. This is the fastest, funnest way to see the statue of liberty. Even for locals, this is a really fun way to ride a speedboat in the Hudson River.

John K.

Yelp
Great ride. Not 5 stars for a few reasons. The boat wasn't extremely fast, also the seat belts are of low quality (mine came undone). However, you do get VERY close to Statue of Liberty. You also get fun 80s rock music to jam out to. Feels like you're on a party boat/ tour boat (thank god there is no tour guide though). Also the captain stops the ship to let you take pictures. When riding just know you're in for a treat!!

W. S.

Yelp
Great way to see lower Manhattan and Statue of Liberty. Crew was great and entertaining. Definitely worth it for photo opportunities alone. Warning: may get wet. Dress accordingly

Tyler L.

Yelp
The Beast is one of the offerings from the cruise company Circle Line from their 42nd Street Hudson River pier. They offer 30 minute, one hour, 1.5 hour and 2.5 hour cruises around the island of Manhattan. The Beast is the 30 minute one. It is also the fastest one (40 plus miles per hour) and only goes from 42nd Street down to the Statue of Liberty and back. I went on this with two friends and thought it was a fun ride. Keep in mind that this boat does not actually stop on Liberty Island where the statue is (for that, you need to take the official Statue ferry from Battery Park). It will only stop in front of the Statue for 5 minutes to give everyone a chance to take some photos before turning right back.

Jennifer G.

Yelp
I wanted to do something special for my son. I'm going thru a difficult time and this is what he asked me for. We waited in line for an hour in the Sun with tix I prepaid. I recently just took the ferry to rockaway and having tix in your phone was enough. I would think for 50 + it would be perfect. We were almost the first in line and my son was picking where he wanted to sit. The boat was late and when we finally started to board. We were denied in the most negative way. We needed to get actual tix at counter and we would have lost the boat. My son was hysterical and so was I. I ran got tix ran back to boat, everyone vouched that I was waiting with my son for a longtime and the guy still didn't let us on boat. They gave us tix for another day, but that didn't account for the emotional wellbeing of someone's kid. Terrible overall experience. I would have understood if I hadn't Pre-paid. This should be a positive experience especially since I followed the rules.

Salman S.

Yelp
Was in NYC with friends who had never been so decided to give them a boat tour, did not feel like doing the regular boat for 2-3 hours so decide to do a short beat tour which looked fun. Best thing about this is it is short and you are done in 45 minutes. The boat does go fast and they do turn and twist around so do expect a few splashes on you so make sure you do no sit near the edge. The captain and helper do a good job to keep you entertained. You leave the dock and go to the statue of liberty do a few twists and turns and come back, if you would like a full Manhattan tour around go for the other boat.

Mark N.

Yelp
My little daughter and I had NY passes and opted for this instead of a Circle Line tour. So glad we did because we had a good time. This was one of those things that I probably wouldn't pay for out of pocket, but in this particular case, I would reconsider. Shoot, we have a similar boat in Redondo Beach that we may have to experience. In any case, the ride is actually pretty informative. You get to see Ellis Island and the Statue from a great vantage point. We went out on a weekend and passed by a Fire Boat with all sprayers shooting in the air. The 2 man crew is hilarious and the deckhand actually took many photos for all of the passengers. You really don't get wet from the spray, but watch out for the water gun and the balloons!

Marc C.

Yelp
Probably my favorite thing to do in NYC! Was highly entertaining! There is NO chance of coming off this boat dry. Everyone get wet. And in the case they find someone dry, they have a water gun to make sure you are wet. It's all in good spirits!! Fantastic place to take my fam of four after lunch at the pier. We had a blast (pun intended). Only bad points were the boat is startingvt show it's age a bit from the last two me coming here a season ago.

Karellis R.

Yelp
Great ride, fantastic host and captain. Perfect view of lady Liberty! Fun ride for families and all alike. We visited two weeks ago on a hot summer day. We walked from Rockefeller Center, so the little guy was hot and dehydrated. The host saw his sad face and immediately soaked him with a water soaked! Changed his mood and made the adventure fun! Get ready to get wet, laugh a little and take some pretty phenomenal pics of the NYC skyline and the

Myrna D.

Yelp
This was by far, my kids best experience while in NYC! The crew was so much fun. They stoped at the Statue of Liberty and took pictures of every passenger with the Statue behind them. The boat was very well kept. It was fast, music was loud and the price was right! Would highly recommend this attraction.

Marni K.

Yelp
My son (4 years old) and I went on The Beast this summer and had the best time!! The 80s music that blared in the background was such a fun touch, the guys on the boat could not have been nicer - they took pictures of everyone with the Statue of Liberty in the background and were so sweet with my son - and the view of the city from the water was wonderful. The boat went fast and it was very exciting for my little guy (and me)! We did not get wet as we sat up front. Great time!

Jocy B.

Yelp
Lots of fun! I'm a mom traveling w a 14 and 9 yr old boys, did not want to do the longgg walking/ boat tours and we have only half a day. We got to the pier around 930am got the tickets- the ride was fun, boys loved it, got the pics I needed without the sweating and shoving!! Yepeeee.

T. E.

Yelp
These guys have it down. I'm local and can't recommend this experience enough. From the guy with the water gun to the captain who drives like a madman, just absolute fun. Give these guys your money. I agree that the purchasing process should be simpler but that's on Pier 83 to hash that out.

Jerry H.

Yelp
A 1/2 hr speedboat trip around NY Harbor 27$. the guide- Maddog. He is a real character. He's the guy at the bar who sounds like he smokes a pack of cigarettes every hour and can probably do tricks with his lighter. He's quick with the one liners and is a great tour guide. You will get wet on this trip. You go fast but probably not as fast as you expect. You will have a s*it eating grin on your face the whole time. you will have a chance to snap some cool pix by lady liberty. The Beast is a cool trip for a jaded NY Native and Tourists alike. get there early try to get in the front of the boat and avoid "the swimming pool" AKA the back of the boat. Bring Cash to Tip Mad Dog when getting off the boat.

Michelle W.

Yelp
OMG absolutely amazing experience. Definitely makes me want to take in some more tourist attractions. It seems that I've been missing out by being a "local". I definitely recommend this ride. It's worth every penny!

Danielle G.

Yelp
This was one of the funnest things I've done in New York. We were with a big group and they made this ride a very enjoyable experience. Everyone gets wet and there's a lot of fun music! You see Ellis island, the skyline and the Statue of Liberty, I highly recommend.

Rosy Y.

Yelp
Ok, I don't know if it's because I'm a native Manhattanite or that I'm just a daredevil by nature, but I was expecting "The Beast" the be WAY more thrilling than it was, especially from the way Circle Line's advertising material describes it. But it was great fun, nonetheless. The Beast goes halfway down the lower portion of Manhattan, reaches the Statue of Liberty - where it stops for a photo-op (the fun crewmembers will gladly snap your picture for you and/or your group) - then returns at peak speed for a slightly wet ride home. The "wet" is mostly spray, not a torrent, so hair and makeup should remain intact. The entire ride takes about half an hour, and they claim to reach speeds of "up to 45mph", but I'm not sure we actually reached that speed. The guys on board really seem to want to give the passengers a fun time, cracking jokes over the loudspeaker throughout the ride and occasionally running through the aisles shooting random hapless passengers with a large watergun (he skipped me ::shrug:: musta been my scowl) , but the ride itself left me asking "was that it?" when I noticed we were pulling back toward the dock. All in all, it's a fun, cheap NY staple that everyone should try at least once. Visitors should really take The Beast if there are younger members in their party, as the standard Circle Line ::yawn:: might leave the more adventurous passenger feeling a bit unfulfilled. Hell, I was feeling unfulfilled even after this crazy ride, but that's just me. Takes a lot to bowl me over. I must have lived in NY too long, or something. So take The Beast. Have a little fun. Let your hair fly. Scream. It's New York, no one will notice. Trust me.

Jesus R.

Yelp
Fun ride! It was about 30min from start to finish it just felt like not enough time maybe an hour would have been good and there wasn't many people there either

Joe C.

Yelp
No refunds or exchanges... Before getting on the boat you have your photo taken in front if the beast behind a life preserver. Choose your seat wisely... bumpy up front half and you get sprayed in back half when captain spins boat into a 360. The first mate will use a super soaker on the people up front so they get a little wet first. Stopped in front of the statue of life liberty. The first mate took your photo for you then the captain swung the boat around so the other half could get a nice picture as well with the statue in the background. Then a 45-50 mph ride back to the dock and one last 360 before getting off. The first mate does a great job taking pictures and does appreciate tips at the end of the trip... My wife didn't feel well so she stayed off the boat and gave her ticket to a family that wasn't going to ride because he couldn't afford tickets for his 3 sons. They were grateful that she gave away her ticket for free so he ended up going. Since my wife carries the money I had no tip to give these guys at the end so I hope you reading this review you will be better prepared then I was.

Tania C.

Yelp
*Ugh, they had a coupon on living social and I missed it. Check groupons or living social for deals first* At $28 per person, this is a fun way to cool off on a hot summer day and act like a tourist on the hudson. I checked out the Beast on Memorial Day and took the last tour at 6 p.m. The Beast leaves every hour on the hour from pier 84.. Arrive at least 10 minutes before since the line gets very long. The ride is about half an hour and you get to check out the New York skyline and take pictures by the Statue of Liberty. The view from this is absolutely amazing. It's a fun energetic tour with awesome music and a great tour guide. You do not get soaking wet but beware, there might be a water gun on the boat haha just saying. Whether you are a tourist or New Yorker, I highly recommend this. I had a great time and definitely will try it again.

Christina C.

Yelp
This is the WORST service we have ever seen!! The entire operation is a sham! The online ticket purchase is nothing but a get-rich scam, that has no intention of honor. We bought the ticket on line, and was told by the website that we DON'T need to go to the box office, just go to the queue directly. When we got to pier 83, there was NOT a single attendent on the pier. When I showed several people in sort of uniform the tickets and asked for details, NOT a single person told me I had to go to the box office. After I and my 7-year old child waited for 1 hr in 90 degree heet, we were told that we had to go to the box office and to wait another hour to get to the boat. This is inhumane and unacceptable. After we complained to the box office staff, we were treated very rudely. Meanwhile, we saw another mother and son who were mistreated and were crying next to us.

Umar S.

Yelp
Fun! Wet! Fast! Nuff said Me and the wife got soaked! We actually wanted to go on the water taxi but it was closed, so we tried this. Wise decision. Best boat ride I've had in a long time.

Connie R.

Yelp
If you are faint of heart it's not for you. If you like fun, speed and getting wet, take this tour. The guys that run it ensure a good time. You speed over to the statue where there is time to take pics. Super fun way to see the statue. Did I mention you will get wet?

Jill L.

Yelp
We had a fun ride on the Beast, which allowed us to quickly check out Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty in a fun environment. We didn't want to get soaked so we said in aisle seats in the 6th row. My friend who sat in the aisle seat hardly got wet. I got a bit wet, but this was primarily from Showtime spraying my neighbor with the water gun. We arrived at about 3:15pm hoping to get on the 4:00pm boat, but it was already full so we had to wait for the 5:00pm. We walked around for a bit so this wasn't a huge deal. However, keep in mind that the 6:00pm boat (the last of the day) was sold out by about 4:15pm. So make sure to arrive early so that you have more options as to what time you want to ride!

Brittany P.

Yelp
"Mom, this really is a beast" is what my 5 year old said to me. He had a huge smile on his face the entire boat ride and was so giddy, which makes any mom happy. This was a perfect activity for anyone visiting NY with children. A little thrill, a little history = a successful day!

Dee M.

Yelp
This ride was Awesome!! and the men who work the boat (Big Diesel and Tank) were Awesome too! Upon boarding the boat there was a big gap between the boat and the dock and one of the men (Tank) helps you onto the boat by taking your hand. He assures me, Don't worry, I got you" as he is holding my hand tight. We take our seats, there are life jackets underneath each seat. The Captain gives his preliminary speech and off we go! We sat at the very front and immediately we got wet but we stood dry for most of the ride. Back seats is where you get soaked. We made a stop by the Statue of Liberty and Tank took pictures of each group using their own cellphone with the Statue of Liberty behind them. Upon leaving again, Tank checks everyone's seatbelts to make sure everyone is secure and away we go again! The boat goes really fast, I mean reaally fast. I could hardly hear the music at the front but I did hear it when I turned sideways. The music was awesome! He even played Guns N Roses Sweet Child of mine and I was just.... It was absolutely Awesome!!!!! You don't get too wet at the front but Tank makes sure no-one gets off the boat dry (you'll have to ride the beast to find out what I mean). This ride was so much fun!! I can't wait to do this again!!!!

This is the best thing I've done all summer long. It is perfect if you want to bring your kids on a boat. Be aware that you do get wet. lol

Yelp
I took my boyfriend on this speedboat tour and it was a lot of fun for him :) I do not fare well with water activities (I get motion sick super easy), but he loves them and so I sacrifice :) Anyways, despite me feeling nauseous the ride was great and the guys operating the boat were a lot of fun. If you want to get wet definitely sit next to the front sides or in the front. Also, they spray you with water guns so no seat is safe and they tend to get the kids and women especially. The pump up the jams and cruise by the statue of liberty. You get a lot of great photo opps. The boat does go fast so hold on to everything! Oh, and they only sell tickets day of so make sure you get down to the Pier early because they sell out. We had to come back a different day because they had sold out.
