"The second location of The Beer Hall has the same extensive beer list as the original in Civic Center, with the addition of a full food menu including a a separate one for kids (which, yes, adults can order from if you’re envying your nephew’s chicken nuggets). You’ll find solid shareables like crispy rosti and roe and a giant pretzel with rarebit sauce, as well as the usual tavern staples. While we wouldn’t venture more than a BART stop or two for dinner here, we’d gladly make the trip to scream at whatever game’s on the TVs mounted above the bar. There’s plenty of long tables for big groups, roomy booths filled with families taking advantage of that kids menu, and as a bonus,they both can be booked ahead of time—you just need to call." - Patrick Wong
