Great new venue! It was tucked away on a calm street. Entrance was very open and a lot of good space. Upstairs patio has a nice view, and fair prices at the bar!

Google
This is my 1st at this venue.. I like it . Sadly at my age I can't stand for 2 hours to watch a show especially since I worked this morning and had a rough day.. if you get there early and get a rail balcony spot that would be the best way to see something here... I had the smashed burger and the meat was over cooked too much cheese on the bread and well not very good especially at the price that was being charged.. eat before coming here is the way to go on that

Google
Very cool venue. We got there early and were able to park across the street for $15 (cash only) and ate dinner at the pizza place that’s connected to the venue. The sound was good and we could see the stage from the balcony without problem.

Google
I love seeing shows at the Bellwether. Top notch lighting and sound! Wonderful and helpful staff, with a special shout out to Sky, who assists in the ADA section. Because I have certain health issues, I always go for the ADA seating. Sky was great. Made sure I could get into my seat, even offered complimentary ear plugs, as we were so close to the stage. The Bellwether is a great smaller concert venue, with easily accessible parking. Looking forward to my next show there!

Great venue! Lost of space for viewing, cool balcony, open-air patio, and good bars.

Google
What a lovely spot can’t wait to go back to see more bands. Would love to be able to check out the vip area!

No bad view on the house! Great audio, views, and stage area. Drinks are ~$24 for a double tequila sunrise tho - pregame before arrival.

Google
Saw the Waterboys. Great show. Polite staff and very helpful. Parking lot guards were awesome. Venue has fantastic sound. I had alot of fun. Tickets and parking prices were better than other L.A. venues.

Yelp
Came for Carly Rae Jepsen on 8/12/2023. Prior reviews mention the AC not working... it definitely was when I was there. I didn't eat any of the food, so no comments about that. Parking: The Athena parking lot nearby is $10 cash and extremely close. Literally up the street like a couple of mins away. The sound quality was great and the restrooms were new, smelled pleasantly clean. Nice venue.

Yelp
The hottest venue in town. This LA concert venue offers a loaded lineup of performances from your favorite local and national bands. I purchased tickets to see Houndmouth in January and I was truly amazed by the Bellwether. You can tell it's well loved with clean floors, hip decor, and top of the line sound and visuals. Style wise, it reminds me a bit of the old House of Blues at Downtown Disney. It's awesome that they offer multiple areas to catch the performance. You can choose from the ground floor, second floor, and a large lobby, patio space, and private restaurant that offer streaming TVs. We ended up snagging decent spots on the 2nd floor with an overhead view of the band. I was obsessed with their onsite restaurant, The Virginian. It offers a ton of plush booth seats, a dance floor, and an elevated menu. No crappy bar eats here! I ordered their pizza which came topped with hot honey and ricotta cheese. Parking was also easy peasy - I know, unheard of in LA! It was $15 to park in the neighboring lot. Heads up though, they close 30 minutes after the show ends. Luckily I love an early bedtime.

Yelp
I went to The Bellwether recently for The Emo Night Tour event. I went with some pals. I had fun. The venue is nice. The sound and lighting were good. I dined at The Virginian. I had the Smash Burger Cheese Crispy. I liked my food. I parked at a lot on the same block as the venue.

Yelp
We ended up here after leaving a movie early and saw the band Tuxedo. This a newer venue and I wonder what it used to be because it sits in this little corner just outside all the high rises in Downtown and has a nice view of the city from the restaurant. I have friends that worked here and knew people that have been before me and all I heard was that it's nice, but it gets really hot in there and the air circulation is bad. I will say I experience a little bit of that myself. I was on the second floor balcony for the first two songs and couldn't take it anymore and spent the rest of my time down on the floor by the doorway. It's much cooler down on the floor and you definitely feel the heat rising and getting stuck up on the balcony. What's great about this place is they have a connected restaurant that you access on the second floor. Just look for the EAT sign and you're in their ghost restaurant. You scan a barcode and order your food and get a text to pick it up at the counter. There's plenty of seating and if you sit by the window you get a nice view of the downtown high rises. We parked in the lot across from the venue and paid $15 and they closed half an hour after the show ended. I'd like to also note that the staff here are unbelievably nice! Everyone from the door guys to the ticket scanners to the bartenders were nothing but cordial to me and answered all of my questions. I'd rank this way higher than the Teragram Ballroom. Definitely would recommend seeing a show here.

Yelp
Great venue! I generally can not stand going Downtown. The chaos! The $$$ parking! But The Bellwether is situated in a nice little pocket of less chaos and loads of parking! Street parking AND not crazy pricey secured lot parking even! But enough about the parking - the venue itself was great! It felt spacious and intimate at the same time. Nice bar area right as you walk in, and a bigger bar in the main room. I did not try the restaurant, but, would give it a go next time, I think. Love that there was LOADS of stalls in the (clean!!) restrooms that kept the lines moving quickly. Bartenders were friendly and all the staff I encountered was lovely as well. Sound and lighting was fantastic! All around a great time!

Yelp
The Bellwether has to be one of the coolest venues I have been to in DTLA. It is pretty big with several sections like an upstairs balcony for a better view of the musicians performing. I was really happy to be able to come here for the first time and to see Mates Fest no less. It felt amazing getting to see so many of my favorite musicians perform in one place. Even though the parking situation was a huge drag (there was not any free parking in the area, you have to either pay to park somewhere or park really far) the venue itself totally made up for it. Many of the workers seemed very inviting and were so friendly to us and everyone that was there. The stage area was comprised of a bottom floor and a top floor with a balcony. I didn't get the chance to go up there but I imagine the view was a lot better albeit further away from the stage. The view from the bottom can be a little rough since the stage isn't super elevated off the ground. If someone taller than you is standing in front of you, good luck. One thing that also really stood out to me was the lighting and the presentation of the musicians. It was honestly really cool and made the shows a lot better. In addition to this, the sound and everything was on point. A stellar night all around!

Yelp
This was our first time going to a show at the venue and we splurged and bought Lounge passes to make sure we had early entry to be in the front row. The lounge tickets were nearly double the cost of the GA ticket (and you had to buy the lounge tickets separate from the GA tickets, so it was all in almost 3x the cost of a normal ticket). We were let in early into a small room (called the Looking Glass Lounge) with free snacks (a low quality cheese and nuts board) and paid drinks / other food items. The security was delayed in letting us into the main area, so the GA ticket holders actually got let into the space first and took the entire front rows by the time we were let in. While we did get a balcony view (small section held for lounge purchasers) there was the exact same balcony view on the other side for GA ticket holders. The venue is intimate and has potential, but do not pay for anything more than the GA ticket, it's a rip off!

Yelp
We had a Christmas party here, and it was a breeze to book, staff was nice, prices were very fair for the open bar, the music proved the room we got, no one in our group was a fan of the cold pizza under a heat lamp, for that reason I might recommend another location, not much parking in the area, luckily we Uber's from a near by hotel, small intimidate venue which was nice. Might come for a concert would recommend for the live music.

Yelp
This has instantly become one of my favorite venues in LA. Parking is available right across the street in a designated lot. Literally a one minute walk away. Checking in is a breeze and all of the security staff were friendly and helpful. Upon entering, the atmosphere is surprisingly swanky. It's dimly lit (my favorite) and everything is washed in ambient blue lighting. There is a large half-moon bar where you can order one of the beers on tap, or a cocktail, or whatever your heart desires. In this case, for the Eric Andre Show Live, the merch table was set up just to the left of the bar. Up some steps and you've reached the pit. There's great visibility from pretty much wherever you are in the room, but I was lucky enough to snag a spot quite close to the stage. I'd recommend arriving at least an hour before the show starts if you want to be anywhere near the front. (There is also an upstairs section with seating.) Overall an incredible night, enhanced by the good vibes of The Bellwether itself. I look forward to coming again, even though I probably won't leave covered in cheese balls and oat milk next time.

Yelp
I purchased GA tickets for a show, and showed up hella late because I didn't want to see the opener. I knew parking was going to be a pain so I allowed plenty of time for that - and it turns out there's a parking garage just down the block - safe, easy, not cheap but not extortion-level either. You know what WAS extortion?! The $20 hot dog - just hot dog - that I had after the show. I digress. The venue is really nice, excellent sound quality, and great stage. The BAR is incredible, because it it truly has full-bar options. Good whiskeys, good beers, bottled wine options, canned wine options -- not just PBR and Jack like you might find at other venues. I did not buy the upgraded Looking Glass lounge ticket -- I read others complaining about it, and during the concert I went to, those "seats", ie the balcony, seemed like such a rip-off. I would not want to see the show from up there. I WOULD however want to try to have dinner at the Virginian beforehand. I assumed it was a ratty place so didn't want to chance it, and we had dinner elsewhere - but now that I've seen the Virginian with my own eyes, I'd definitely give it a try. I can't wait to come to another show here and see if it is the same good experience.

Yelp
Why am I just finding out about this gem?! I came for a Ziggy Marley concert a couple weeks ago. The ambiance was super soulful, with a more diverse crowd than I was expecting! The entrance and stairway were beautiful (and perfect for a photo opp). There is also additional standing and sitting room on the balcony for those who don't want to be in the big crowd. Now, let me get to my favorite part: the cafe upstairs! There is this adorable little cafe upstairs, with nice, comfy booths, a lovely view of DTLA skyscrapers, and a screen of the stage downstairs, so you can take a break without missing the show! We had no idea this was upstairs until we saw a girl pass by with the most delicious looking pizza! We asked where she got it, and she pointed upstairs. The pizza was DELECTABLE! That might single handedly have been the best slice of pizza I've eaten in all my time in Los Angeles. Not to mention the portions were HUGE! And $7! Where in Los Angeles can you get an enormous slice of quailty pizza for $7? I'll wait! I really enjoyed my time! Ziggy Marley was amazing and took down the house! Great vibes, yummy bites, and a good night! Hopefully I'll be back soon!

Yelp
Came here to watch Belle and Sebastian with my partner and was super excited to check out this newish venue in LA. This venue is really nice and intimate. It kind of reminded me of a nicer version of The Glasshouse in Pomona. Everything is well maintained and the security and staff were nice and polite. There is also a restaurant upstairs, but we didn't get a chance to check it out. From the photos of other Yelpers here, it looks like it boasts some great views of DTLA as well. Parking is a bit hit or miss. We ended up parking in a lot for $15, but they close 30 minutes after the show, so you would have to rush out of there! I can't wait to check out more shows here in the future.

Yelp
I went to the Bellwether to see a performance by one of my favorite producers. The spacious and impressive setting created a relaxing environment for us to enjoy the show and dance around. We opted for VIP, which was even better due to it wasn't crowded at all, allowing for a chill vibe. The prices were somewhat high for drinks, but that's expected for Los Angeles, so we were prepared for it. Although we didn't order food, it's worth noting there's a restaurant attached to the venue for those who want a meal after enjoying the show. I would love to see another show here.
google avatar

Crystal L.

Yelp
The Bellwether has become one of my favorite venues. I've seen a couple shows there now. The layout is very open. I've had no experience with crowd bottlenecking. There's a large bar in the lobby right when you walk through the entrance. The merch tables are easily accessible. The floor of the stage area is large for a mid-size venue, and it's easy to see the performers even from the back. Getting a drink at the floor bar is usually really easy too. Lot's of staff. Parking can be tricky, but the garage we went on the other side of 4th street (I believe the building was called the Visconti) was only $12 which seems like a steal these days.

Yelp
I attended my first music event at the Bellweather yesterday evening...Allen Stone! What a terrific event space/small concert venue! Appreciated all of the welcoming staff - everyone was so helpful and nice...seemed like everyone really enjoyed working at the Bellweather :) We had a quick bite in the cafe - the pizza with pepperoni and hot honey was yummy...much better than expected. We also had the arugula salad (a little weak...small without much flavor), as well as a glass of wine and soda....all very reasonably priced. I would definitely attend an event at the Bellweather again...in fact, I signed up for the newsletter so I can keep an eye out for another opportunity!

Yelp
The sound was great. The "ambient lighting" was terrible. As soon as we walked in I noticed the lighting was weird, like it was making me dizzy. Only 20 minutes into being there, my man felt like he was going to pass out. I went to the bar and got some water. He sat down against a wall near the bar and a security guard told him to get up. Well. He got up, got super dizzy and passed out, smacking down so hard on the ground his glasses broke. The medical staff was great. The security guard was just doing his job I guess??? But it backfired in a terrible way. We are fully grown adults who don't really drink or do drugs. This happened a few months ago but it was kinda traumatizing. I truly think that lighting is a bad idea. It's a liability! Low lighting does not provide enough visual information for your brain to process and can result in dizziness and unsteadiness. Look it up!

Yelp
Finally the Decemberist returned to LA and I was able to catch a Sunday show at The Bellwether! Sound: I thought the acoustics presented a nice full sound that wasn't too loud/distorted. It's a small venue so you'll be able to find a great spot to hear the music. I wish I was able to pop upstairs to experience the sound there but others have told me it's good there too. Parking: I was pleasantly surprised on the close proximity of the parking garage to the venue. I was also surprised the parking was $12 because I was prepared to spend a few extra dollars. Getting out of the lot wasn't too bad either. Overall I enjoyed the Bellwether and I hope to catch more shows in the future.

Yelp
For as long as I've been going to live events, I cannot for the life of me think of why I've never been to this venue. My friend got sick and had to give up her ticket to the Princess show, so I stepped in at the last minute. We got there fairly early. I say this because the parking lot across the venue was still empty. This gave us just the right amount of time to grab something to eat and drink. The layout here is great if you like to be segregated from the riff raffery. There are multiple bars downstairs and upstairs. We ended up getting food and drinks upstairs. My beer was satisfactory. The food my friend got (chicken tenders w/fries) tasted like something you would get from a school cafeteria. Them tenders were salty AF. The customer service was supreme. Everyone was great and very nice.

Yelp
I came here to see The Wombats and it's a pretty nice venue overall. I loved my spot on the second floor right behind the handrails since I wasn't blocked, but I can definitely see how people would not be able to see the stage since it fills up quickly. Drinks are crazy expensive just like every other venue and just not worth it in my opinion. Parking was pretty easy as well. I'd come back to this venue especially if I lived closer.
google avatar

Yelp
Saw Royal Otis here last week and was pleasantly surprised by this new wonderful, intimate venue. It has an open balcony so you can go between the floor and upper level. I loved that the seperate sections weren't ticketed like at many other venues ... so you could go up and down as you please. it also had a little patio and cafe attached with TVs so you could hangout but keep an eye on the stage. The venue is right off the 110 freeway. Will definitely go back !
google avatar

Yelp
Great venue with good parking options. I came from San Diego to see The Warning and will definitely come back if a band I like plays here.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Great venue that feels like a more intimate Hollywood Palladium. Saw Dinosaur Jr and was able to work my way up close to the front. They have a restaurant that has great pizza and great service! Bartender Calvin was very charming and accommodating. Was expecting parking to be worse based on the reviews but we just bit the bullet and payed for the lot across the street. Would come back!

Yelp
We purchased floor admission in a clearly defined section behind the seated area. We got drinks at the bar and a grumpy security guy immediately told us we had to go upstairs. We explained that we had floor admission. It said so right there on the tickets. "The floor is upstairs," he said in a manner that suggested he thought that made some kind of sense. I pointed out the obvious flaw in his logic and he brought over an equally grumpy manager lady who confirmed his curious assertion that in Bellwether world, the floor is upstairs, despite their own seating chart to the contrary. So the floor is the balcony, which I suppose means the balcony is on the roof. We spent the evening in the rafters with no sight lines, along with a number of equally misled and pissed off customers, many of whom gave up trying to see the show and sat on benches behind the crowd. I couldn't even tell you how many people were in the band because the only glimpse I got of the stage was when we left.

Yelp
Visitors to The Bellwether should be warned : The Bellwether is not an ADA compliant venue

Yelp
Recently saw a show here and wow! It was such a great venue with the ideal layout/spacing. I also realized there was patio area/food area. The staff were super chill and helpful. I look forward to the next show here!

Yelp
This is my first time here to see Municipal Waste on a Tuesday night and the concert was sold out. The venue is very nice and there's plenty of room for a large pit to keep everyone happy. The sound was very good but the drinks were a bit pricy. The parking lots around this area charge 15 dollars.
google avatar

Jon Paul J.

Yelp
Horrible horrible parking for a venue that's been around a while. No parking instruction for the lot around the corner. No signs just free for all. Was 2 cars from getting in when they suddenly closed the lot. I've no idea how the venue is cause I wasted money on driving around a very sketchy area trying to find any type of parking only to end up turning around and going home. Super disappointed, not only from the loss of my ticket price but seeing a band I really wanted to see. Hire some parking people or invest in a sign. Won't be trying to come back

Yelp
Santigold tonight August 8 2023 Ready to jam to this amazing artist It's gonna be an awesome night Love this woman Santigold at the Bellwether https://youtu.be/GA8z7f7a2Pk Search Video of Guy Dancing on a Hill at Sasquatch... That's when I became a Santigold fan! https://youtu.be/nU7dxkIz1Vs Emerald Room VIP ticket gets you access to the Virginian Upstairs for some bites and drinks... a smoking lounge...called the Emerald Room with sofas and lounge chairs and open air windows to the front of the venue...also balcony access surrounding the stage from all three sides... it's a bit cooler on top if you're not down for the primal experience of being on the floor standing with a crowd of 1000 ... it could get warm for some ... But the Emerald Room upgrade was well worth it... Spectacular night - Santigold did not disappoint

Yelp
We came to the grand opening to see Phantogram. They were amazing. The Bellwether is a medium size venue with a balcony, a patio with a view, and a restaurant with a bar. There is a lot of seating for hanging out beforehand. I know it's the first night, but there are some things that need to be addressed asap: Air conditioning needs to be optimized. It felt like a sauna. I actually had to go outside to get some air and water during the set. You could see the musicians drenched in sweat. Parking is horrendous.. and we came only 30 minutes after doors opened. I followed the recommendations on their website and the sites were closed! What? Small lot across the street filled up quickly. No available street parking (read the signs because they were giving tickets!) No valet option. Parking attendants gave us wrong info on which lots were available. We spent 30+ minutes trying to find a spot. I ended up parking in a lot where it which required permits and prayed that I wouldn't get a ticket. I got lucky. I've been to hundreds of concerts and this is the worst parking situation i've ever encountered. I would do ride share next time or come very early. I will be back in a few weeks so hope it can get better. I was a little generous with my rating.

Yelp
I came here for SSP (Silversun Pickups) in September and had a blast! Before going, I was reading up on reviews and was worried that the venue was going to be stuffy and hot because of some mentioned there was no AC. However I think they had that fixed already in September when I was there for SSP. The venue is cute, decent size and the laid out was pretty nice! I did not opt for the .. VIP lounge, I forgot what it was called, silver glass or looking glass lounge? The ticket for that was double the concert ticket. I changed my mind and wanted to get it but it was deemed sold out about 1 month (?) into the concert date... But, I was glad I was not able to get it. The standard concert ticket was enough. There are two bars, one downstairs and one upstairs. Service was pretty fast in our experience. However, drinks are expensive.... I'm not sure if it's the same everywhere now but if you order a cocktail, the price they quote is the main alcohol ONLY in the drink... So unless you drink everything straight, every other ingredients in your cocktail is additional charge... crazy! Anyhow, overall we really enjoyed the concert. It was spacious enough to walk around and we liked the view from upstairs better so we stayed up there the whole time. Location was very convenient, we stayed overnight at the Westin Bonaventure and it was a nice walk to the venue. Would come again for future shows!

Yelp
I already showed my love for this place in a review not too long ago after I attended the Atmosphere show, but I had to give them one more shout out after my return visit three nights ago. I saw Decemberists play there Monday night & the place was just as awesome as I remembered from the last visit. I honestly really love the setup & vibe of this place. It's never overly packed to where you can't move, but it still holds a big crowd. I managed to get up the front row (2 people away from edge of stage) & I had such an amazing time. It was maybe my 8th time seeing the band, but they are one of the few bands that I have never been able to get up close to the stage for. I think most of the times I've seen them were in festival kinda atmospheres/stages. Anyways, it felt like the perfect show after seeing them so many times through the years. On top of the layout & the vibe there, I must give a shout-out to the security again. I don't know where this place hires their security from, but I really wish other venues would use the same source! The good vibes & friendliness of the security makes a world of difference compared to many other shows I've been to. I guess it is usually the larger venues that have the rude & very unfriendly security most of the time, but there have been plenty of small venues I've been to where the security gets that hunger for power & just gets mean. Here, they get their job done while still being pleasant. Makes me a big fan. :) I will absolutely be returning here every time I see one of my favorite bands will be playing, no doubt about it! Oh, one more thing, the security was even kind enough to hold my unopened bottle of water & bag of chips at the door for me & returned them when I exited. I didn't think I'd care, but I definitely enjoyed both items on the walk back to my car ha. Thank you them!

Yelp
I've never been to this venue before I usually try to stick to smaller venues. My three stars is only due to the fact that when this place gets packed, you can't really get close to the band, unless you pay an upgrade and the balcony seats. And it's obviously tied into Live Nation or Ticketmaster so the service fees are already ridiculous on top of upgrade fees. My tickets were $44 by the time everything was done they came out to $68. This is why I won't support medium to larger venues and refuse to go to stadiums.... I took a Lyft Which was about six dollars for more I was staying at it was easy to get in and out. I assume they have parking here as well but let me guess another $15-$20 charge for two hours right you see where I'm at? I did notice that there is parking around the area but you gotta be careful let's LA I did not buy any drinks or food since I was already hung over from the previous night. Drink prices are OK as well as the food. I saw Slowdive on October 14, 2023. The sound is on point here especially if you are dealing with a shoegaze band that has the loudest guitars ever definitely impressed, but I wanted to be closer to the band. That's the only reason why I gave his place three stars.

Yelp
Great space to see a show!! Staff are among the most friendly and accommodating (both in and out of the venue) that I've encountered in LA!! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Lately I've been avoiding share riding to shows in LA. So when I looked up this venue and all of unfavorable reviews mentioned parking being a pain, I was worried. I took my chances, knowing the parking gods would take care of me. I think it was less of the parking gods, and more of The Bellwether taking customer feedback seriously and getting the parking together. Parking was easy (cash only), and across the street from the venue. The venue was super clean, too. I almost felt bad for putting my empty cup on the floor to avoid losing my spot. Service was nice, fast, and drink prices are slightly better than other music venues in the city. I saw in other negative reviews how hot it was in there. They fixed that, too! Ice cold baby (in a good way).

Great new music venue in downtown LA. It's not big, but not too small either. There's a restaurant inside, a VIP lounge, and a balcony where you can stand and watch the show. The dance floor is where I always prefer to be though. Tonight was the very first show for their grand opening featuring Phantogram. And it was an awesome show by one of my favorite bands. This venue does not have a parking lot. There are a few self park lots around that are only $5 for the day. We arrived 4 hours before showtime and parked at the lot across the street, and we were the 2nd car parked there. I already knew that parking was going to be a situation so we arrived super early and walked to get dinner before the show. That lot will have an attendant stationed there so every car will be perfectly safe while enjoying the venue. The general location does have some homeless tents scattered around, even at the entrance of the parking lot across the street, but that's just usual for the downtown Los Angeles area. They do keep to themselves though, for the most part. There will also be cop cars that will show up to make sure the guests, bands, and staff don't experience any issues or problems. But nothing came up that they were needed for. I can't wait for my next concert here!

Yelp
All good last night for the double bill of Extreme / Living Colour ....except one thing . Why in the world would the upstairs restroom close up shop before show break ? Everyone upstairs was forced to use the facilities downstairs. There wasnt a line this time, but I could see this being an issue with a sold out show. I didnt get any food but I did have one drink and the service was quick and efficient .

Yelp
Stunning sound, solid sightlines, friendly staff. I saw Yo La Tengo a few nights back...a band I've seen dozens of times in dozens of venues over the past 25 years, and this may well be the best they sounded. Ot in terms of performance per se - but clear, precise front of house sound. I wandered around a bit and there were surprisingly few compromised areas of sound, attributable to people absorbing sound upstairs. Parking was $15 up the street, easy walk. Overall a very pleasant experience and - if a second show there lives up - I'll say my favorite GA venue in LA.

Yelp
What an incredible night at the Machine Head show we had. We got there early right before the doors opened. I'm disabled with the spinal injury. It's okay for we got in the pointed me to the ADA person. And me and my daughter were put into the ADA section with no problem. Everybody was really respectful we had a wonderful night. It's the first time we've been to a concert there. Perfect Night

Yelp
Great venue to hear bands, great sound system and you can hear them talking! They have upper level so you can see the bands and a back room with a restaurant and food! Good food! Bathrooms were clean. I will definitely come back! Parking was ok, there are a few lots near.

Yelp
Just saw LANY here last night and had a great time! The venue is so clean and loved the vibe. We arrived a little late because of parking, I recommend parking at the Visconti. We went to the other two places recommended by venue and they were full so I recommend going early and straight to Visconti as it's underground and $12. Much safer than street parking IMO. It's a 5 min walk to venue, super easy. It can take a bit of time to get out, but nowhere near as bad as I've experienced at other venues. We checked out the patio after and it's a great space! Would recommend coming early and hanging there to guarantee good parking and a good spot for the show. Although there isn't really a bad spot - we were on the balcony and despite being late still had great visibility! However, the main issue for me was the heat. I thought maybe it was because it's been warming up in general, but I see other reviewers mentioned the same. Of course I am not expecting it to be an ice box, but I had to chill on the dancing at one point because I was felt like I would overheat. I cannot imagine if we were in the middle of the crowd, I would have had to step out for air. I hope they figure that out soon, otherwise I recommend as little clothes as possible and bring a fan lol Didn't have any issues with the staff, all were super helpful and friendly! Also didn't drink so can't speak to the cocktails but didn't seem to be too long of lines. I do agree with other reviewers on the bathroom situation. There isn't one by the entrance, instead it's on the opposite side of the venue so you have to go thru the crowd. Not ideal but there also wasn't a line so wasn't too big of a deal. I would come back and hopefully they have AC figured out by the time I do!

Yelp
Really sweet venue, highly recommend although if you are getting drinks skip the lobby bar, they are kinda rude. The people inside the actual auditorium are a lot nicer if you can wait.

Yelp
Very stylish venue and the restrooms are well maintained. Did not try the food but I hear it's very good.

Yelp
I had some initial disappointments regarding the strictness that seems over the top of the bouncers here. Seems like you're paying a lot of cash to be told to not do this don't go there etc. The concert was amazing I was very thrilled. Just wish the bouncers didn't power trip cause the customers are the one pouring in the money.

Yelp
Came to see Carly Rae Jepsen here, and she was amazing! Front door staff was nice and friendly, we did get there after the main line had passed. Bartender was very nice, and drinks were reasonable compared to many other venues at about $18 for a double. Food was okay, nothing amazing but the nachos were pretty good! The patio has a great view, smoking is only allowed in a small portion of it. Show itself was amazing! Hard to have a bad view, especially if you get there a little early and can get onto the balcony. Leaving the show after was an absolute nightmare. They didn't have any signs up telling anyone where to go for Ubers/rideshare, and instead had 5 security staff outside screaming for everyone to go a block up to the corner. Once you got to the corner, they had ZERO security there to direct anyone, and forced all the drivers onto a tiny one way street with cars parked on both sides. Absolutely recommend that anyone using rideshare/getting picked up should just walk a block or two down from the venue instead of going to the corner.

Yelp
Had an amazing time at the Bellwether but listen closely IF you are purchasing the looking glass lounge add on.... GO Early!! Pros: 1. Exclusive entrance, 2. Clean bathrooms with no wait time (unless you decide to go when concert ends), 3. Private bar with a large seating area. When you step outside of the bar to the "designated" looking glass lounge terrace section (I posted a pic of the map on this review), you find yourself immediately to the left side of the stage. It's definitely a great view IF you get there early. Cons: That section's rail packs quick so you'll find yourself standing behind people in that small section reserved for the looking glass folks wondering why you paid an extra $75 to stand behind someone on the 2nd floor!! You can leave the looking glass lounge to join the rest of the balcony crowd (you'll know you've left because there will be a division rope with an employee requesting to see your bracelet.) The bathrooms on the first level floor are pretty well kept and easy to get to.

Yelp
I am a big fan of the Teragram and the Moroccan Lounge, so when the owner announced that they were opening a new venue, I was generally excited. The Bellwether offers a very solid concert experience, but it is still working out its kinks. Positive: The sound is excellent. Like the other venues from this company, the sound is extremely clear and the overall sound of the performers couldn't be better. The venue is extremely clean and modern. The lobby is excellent. The bartenders are also very generous with their servings. The overall concert experience was 10/10. Negative: The Parking. The Teragram and Moroccan benefit from their locations because there is plenty of parking in the surrounding areas. There is, however, no parking here. The Bellwether is off the freeway, next to some apartments and there are no paid parking lots. The one I did find was cash only. The moral of the story is to get here early or bring cash. Or prepare to walk one mile as I did. The bathrooms. The bathrooms are at the back of the venue - I'm not exaggerating when I say it is a journey to get there in the middle of a sold-out show. I saw there was a bathroom in the lobby for staff /medical staff, please consider opening this to the public. This is an access issue. Overall, for a concert venue that just opened last week, the Bellwether is a winner in terms of the overall concert experience. I had a great time watching Haim. I would not hesitate in recommending this place. However, the parking and bathrooms definitely need to be addressed; but with ownership's great track record, I'm confident this place will be a perfect venue by the end of the year. A great addition to Los Angeles.
