First time visit for lunch. Great atmosphere and cool vibe. Get the brussel sprouts, crispy heaven tossed in a unique sauce. The Ham n Cheese with the pretzel roll was delicious and the bacon and honey mustard was an unexpected treat. They also source local ingredients.

This is a very unique restaurant. Has an open air floor plan that is great on nice days. Food was amazing. The fried green tomatoes were filled with crab and tasted amazing. Shrimp pasta was great and the wagyu smash burger was to die for. So if you have a chance stop by and grab a drink and some outstanding food.

We have not had a chance to make it out during dinner service, but we very much enjoy their brunch. The food is delicious, the drinks are well made and the service is quick and friendly. The overall vibe of the restaurant is open, bright and crisp.

Google
The Belmont is an incredible joint. Amazing drinks, delicious food, awesome staff and a cozy atmosphere. A bit pricy but you totally get what you pay for. Great place to go out on a date!

I was in love with this restaurant from the first time I visited. To be fair, all I have had off of the regular menu is the vegan sammy because it is so incredible that I've been unable to bring myself to order anything else! The lion's mane mushrooms were cooked perfectly and transported me back to my experiences in Oregon with fresh, local, perfectly cooked mushrooms that I had so dearly missed. The sides are just as good and I havent had one yet that disappointed. The cocktails are also super! The have such depth of flavor and hit the spot every time. The staff have always been friendly and I love the nice evenings when they open up the large windows to soak up the fresh air. I highly recommend giving them a try!

Let me just say, I have never had chicken carbonara before but The Belmont’s?? AMAZING. I will definitely be returning to get it again. This is my second time and I get the lamb chops again and they were just as delicious as the first time. I also love that they have kombucha as well. We enjoyed our food and the beautiful atmosphere. If you haven’t been already, go!

Google
By far one of my favorites here in Wichita! Always hits the spot. We ordered the bone marrow as an appetizer and it was amazing some of the best I have ever had. The chicken Carbanora was a hit and it was filling I could not even finish it. The lamb chops were great as well, cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you have some time because the drinks and food and ambiance are great and it’s always a good vibe to sit down and hang out there! Also check out there Christmas pop up for some good drinks before you eat.

Google
Great food, innovative music track, and a comfortable retro atmosphere with intimate seating options. Highly recommend the lamb lollipops and bruschetta appetizers. The squash bisque soup was very nicely seasoned. Service was experienced and attentive. Looking forward to a second visit!

Steve C.

Yelp
First visit, very laid-back and hip place. Started off with a bruschetta appetizer and I must say that their bruschetta is unbelievably delicious! You have many different topping options in which to choose, the presentation is beautiful, and most important, the flavors are amazing! For my entrée, I had the salmon which was a top, Israeli couscous. Enjoyed it even though the it was a bit spicy. Full bar, along with several craft drafts. Service was efficient. Definitely coming back here!

Yelp
Visit this evening was not very good. Asked for a table outside but when seated the table next to us asked for 2 more chairs for the friends they had coming to drink with them. Those chairs were pushed up against our table. We decided to be accommodating to meet their needs so moved to a table inside. It was not very busy when we were seated and it took awhile before the server came to take our drink order. Once we received our drinks we ordered entrees which came very timely. However my husband's mashed potatoes were stone cold. The server never checked on us again until we finished our meal so we never had the opportunity to tell her about the potatoes. We did inform her of the issue but by then it was too late to correct. As a final straw she never even bothered to ask if we wanted one check or split and just assumed we wanted it split. Such a hassle considering it was supposed to be a treat for me but I ended up paying for my own meal. Food was a 3 because of potatoes but service was a 1 at best. They could care less if we were enjoying our experience. Doubt we will be back for a long long time.

Courtney C.

Yelp
I really liked this place! We were able to be sat on a Friday night at a cute semi circle table thing. Our servers were extremely helpful often checking in to make sure our food and drinks were correct. The decor and lighting is so cute! The food was great and I really loved the flank steak app as my main course with the horseradish cream. There were many creative, quirky options even with drinks, too but I didn't go too far out of the box.

Gerald H.

Yelp
Start to finish this was a great meal and experience. I don't cough up 5's much for restaurants but when it's worthy I will. This place was great. We did not have a reservation and pulled up on a Friday night. They looked very busy, it was loud and lots of groups of people as well as single tables filled in addition to the bar area. We were immediately sat in a half circle booth and placed drink ordered. We ordered the bruschetta plate for an appetizer - with 3 choices of different types. We ordered a traditional with pesto, a Brie and fruit preserves, and a fig and prosciutto option as well. The Brie and traditional with pesto were great - I would recommend this as a pick. Looking over the menu, there were several things I wanted to try, but already having some of the items, I went with the steak and potato route. I ordered the ribeye medium with broccolini and potatoes. When they served the steak they asked me to cut it and approve it as medium - which I liked rather than me cutting it and having to send it back. It was done properly. Steak was great, sides were great, and for dessert I went with a carrot cake which was cut in a cylindrical fashion and was surrounded by a cream cheese froth sauce. Very very very good. Top to bottom this was exceptional. Our waitress forgot my last refill but it happens and that small issues couldn't dampen the meal and experience.

Yelp
My girls and I went to brunch here this Memorial Day weekend. How have I lived in Wichita so long and never visited here before? Conspiracies! Ha! I had the eggs and my girls ordered the Benedict's. We all had mimosas. So good! While waiting, we ordered the fruit tray! So good! Pineapple, blueberry, strawberry, and others and they had a dip and nuts too! Yum! I'm going back today!

Katie F.

Yelp
Always a great place to come eat. Beautiful restaurant with indoor or outdoor seating. Recommend the crab dip paired with the homemade chips. Service is always so nice and friendly.

Donna S.

Yelp
A really nice ambience, and great service. The menu is a little bit limited. They do have a good selection of appetizers and happy hour items.

Vince P.

Yelp
Great food and great drinks, definitely would recommend this place again. I ordered a couple of drinks and they definitely were tasty and well curated. I ordered the bruschetta and the spring carbonara featuring a grilled salmon. The bruschetta selection was great; you get to pick 3 variations and I loved the brie/jam one, a little sweet and savory all in one. The carbonara was boooombb. the way the pasta grips onto the egg yolk just shows how powerful it can hold onto sauces. Definitely would recommend that dish @phidingthefam

Kimberly R.

Yelp
Ambiance is fabulous Service is good My food was horrible. 2 of us had expensive salads that were just lettuce. My friend got a refund for hers. All I tried was the salad though, so maybe other dishes are good. ?

Uyen T.

Yelp
5/5 food, service, & ambiance We love Belmont for all of the above. They have delicious drinks and food, plus you get amazing service and ambiance. They also have daily happy hour drinks and weekend brunch. Gotta love it. Belmont is our go-to spot!

Madeline E.

Yelp
This restaurant is beautiful. Large glass walls, beautiful wooden bar with gold accents, velvet booths, penny tiled islands. It would be the perfect spot for a bridal brunch, date night, or fun day out with friends. The food is also wonderful with very fairly priced brunch and dinner cocktails available. The fries were seasoned well, the homemade ranch was fantastic, and the chicken salad on my sandwich was unique with a Mediterranean flair. I also have to give a special shout out to the fried green tomatoes appetizer. I could eat those everyday for every meal for a month and still enjoy them at the end of it. So great!

Sharon G.

Yelp
Visiting from Las Vegas, a friend knew my standards. So I was very pleased with everything: The ambience, the drink menu, food and service. I liked it so much, I went there 3 times!

Strong Power T.

Yelp
10/10!! Defiantly recommend!! Came here for some drinks with my Mom and OMG! so so good! The drinks were $7 for happy hour and were all so dang good! We shared the Bruschetta and the Smokehouse burger. The Bruschetta had many options for topping and flavor combinations and you could choose 4. They were all very good. The burger was one of the best I've ever had! And I've been all over the U.S. Mouthgasm!!!! The service was 15/10 and the price was great for the quality and quantity!

Kali M.

Yelp
I have been to the Belmont many many times and this is my "go to" for brunch. I always get the Norteño Benny! If you're not into that I also highly recommend the biscuits & gravy! It's absolutely always delicious and the service is always great. The staff are always so kind and cheerful. This place has such an elegant and relaxing vibe. I recommend sitting on the patio if you can. The fresh air and the view of the neighborhood of College Hill just transcends you to somewhere else. You almost forget you're in Wichita.

Abby P.

Yelp
You can tell that the Belmont has not always been a restaurant when you look at it from the outside. It's a neat space, but clearly renovated. Nothing wrong with that though because they sure did a great job. We got sat upstairs for brunch, which may have been a part of why we waited so long for our food and drinks, but ultimately the staff were kind and the food was good. The waffles were perfect and the egg dishes were enjoyed by all. The huge cinnamon roll was also 10/10. Try this place out, but make sure you have time to spare!

Yana A.

Yelp
First thing I have to say, is what a beautiful restaurant this is. It really gives off an upscale cafe vibe. The booths were velvet and curved so my boyfriend and I could sit next to each other comfortable with the wide windows offering a great amount of sunlight in. There was also an upstairs section that wasn't open during lunch time with an amazing bar section in the middle of the restaurant with shelves going high up to the ceiling. The servers were quite attentive and friendly, everyone coming to refill our drinks whenever it was near empty. The food was heavenly; the salmon appetizer tasted so fresh and the sandwiches with sides made us full and happy. I personally wasn't too happy about the croissant bun I had with my chicken salad sandwich, as it fell apart immediately and I was left to eat it with my utensils. It was a little dry, but still delicious. I would personally recommend the second sandwich, which I believe was a sourdough Philly/steak sandwich of some sort. Definitely would recommend a visit here.

Catie L.

Yelp
Great food and drinks, and a very unique building. We've sat in the little lift area as well as the patio and they're both great! Service has been great as well! Our must have appetizer is the fried green tomatoes, they come as three stacks of two with some blue cheese and dressing and we're always fighting over splitting the last one. I've also really loved their roasted vegetable appetizer, it comes with two sauces which are both vegan, and it doesn't sound exciting but the veggies are cooked perfectly and SO delicious! Burgers are great, brunch is delicious! Drinks are fun and tasty!

Shymone B.

Yelp
If you're looking for a brunch spot that's aesthetically pleasing, give The Belmont a try. We've been here twice for brunch and enjoyed both visits. It can get pretty busy on the weekends, but they are very efficient, so you'll be seated in no time. During both visits, we started off with the Bruschetta. You get to choose 3 different types for $12. For my main dish, I ordered "Morning Sandy" and the "Norteno Benny". The Morning Sandy is a toasted croissant with scrambled eggs and grand cru cheese. FIRE! The Norteno Benny is a classic eggs benedict with chorizo. My egg was perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was amazing. I would order both dishes again. Oh btw, $6 happy hour cocktails from open to 6pm? Say less. I ordered the "Rackhouse" and it was delicious. The black walnut bitters paired well with bourbon. It was just an all-around refreshing cocktail. I could've drank 5 of these, but if I did, I wouldn't have been able to continue the rest of my day, so I just stuck with one. Don't be shy, give them a try!

Yelp
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! A great place to go for all of your most special occasions

Jasmin R.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere service and food! It is one of our favorite restaurants in Wichita!!!!

Trinidad G.

Yelp
Horrible Hostess Service. Arrived and waited to be seated. Was called up for a table which did not exist; they sat my family at the Bar. Very unorganized.

Lynda K.

Yelp
Our favorite place in Wichita! The service, food and atmosphere is amazing!! If you haven't been yet--go try!

Vy N.

Yelp
I got the Salmon for my entrée and I can say it was very appetizing! It looks small but it definitely filled me up, along with the side of french fries which were pretty good and fresh.

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
The food is incredible! Everything I have had since Christmas time has been delicious. Bruschetta is on point! Wait staff is so kind and courteous. The vibe is refined but laid back!

Holly F.

Yelp
First time eating and i had fried green tomatoes which were delicious and the chicken salad sandwich which was amazing!! Definitely should check it out

Roger N.

Yelp
Lunch, Ambience was good, service polite and responsive, but the food was mixed. We only had Caesar salad with "protein" (chicken. And or salmon) My Chicken was fine but My wife's salmon was completely under cooked. They did replace it, and credited our check so marks for service but Not for the food. Just be firm and specific when you Order Is My advice!

Yelp
The Belmont lost 6 patrons tonight. Our girls group meets every 2 weeks for happy hour to vent, relax, catch up and have a good time. Tonight, as with any other night, we met up to hang out. Things were good and then the manager came up to us and said we "hit our drink limit and they would no longer serve the table". The girls at our table each had 1-4 drinks each. We were not drunk or out of control and some ate appetizers. There was no other explanation. We were highly offended because we've never had this happen, even the other times we have been there and put them in our rotation. They have lost not only our business, but those that left before us. Ridiculous.

Rmc K.

Yelp
Went to the Belmont to enjoy a brunch with my girlfriend and it's a place we love to frequent. Everything from the drinks(which are not picture but were delicious) to the service and food are spot on here. The garage doors being open was perfect for this Sunday weather and really made for an all around better eating experience. Poached eggs on the Benny were perfect for the English muffin and complimented the spicy chorizo. The waffle with pineapple chunks was absolutely divine of course. And we always get the cheese course every time we go. It is our favorite so if you have beautiful girlfriend then you should definitely pay this place a visit.

Stephanie Z.

Yelp
High prices for mediocre food and service. The ambiance is a strength, and they have a nice drink menu.

Sarah W.

Yelp
Good brunch spot, wish the drink menu was more expansive. Better dinner options especially for value at other restaurants. A good portion of what you pay for is the environment/atmosphere.

Meg O.

Yelp
Great service and lovely atmosphere! We enjoyed the Sunday brunch that didn't require us to eat breakfast.

Claudia P.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere with great hosts and drinks! Waited about 30 minutes to get seated since they don't take reservations unless your party is 8+, but once we were seated it didn't take too long for dinner and cocktails. The warm butter and bread as an appetizer was amazing, but the salmon was a little on the drier side with our main course. Definitely would try again but recommend more for the drinks and atmosphere!

Amy C.

Yelp
Came here last night to catch up with some high school friends since we were all in town. This place is amazing! They have parking lots on both sides of the restaurant and they were able to seat our group of 8 without any wait. They said on busier nights, Friday and Saturday, they recommend to call to make reservations for big groups. The inside is very clean looking and easy to navigate through. We ordered drinks and some bruschetta to start off. Our waitress was really nice and even allowed us to take another table since more people were joining us. I got the peace & dove cocktail and I enjoyed it. I do wish their drink menu had more cocktail options with tequila but I also wanna try their other cocktails next time. Everyone at the table really liked the pesto, mozzarella and tomato bruschetta. We also got pimento cheese, micro greens and cucumber. It was okay and I'll prolly try other bruschetta options in the future. Everyone in my group wanted to get the salmon entree lol so some of us decided to order a different meal instead so we could try more of their menu. Half of us got the salmon while the others got ribeye, Jake's chicken sandy, fried chicken. Everything tasted incredible! Their chicken was really juicy. The salmon literally melted in your mouth like butter. You're gonna enjoy any meal you get from this place! The best part is they give a complimentary platter of cookies at the end. I will definitely come here again. This is a great place for date night, girls night, happy hour, families, friends, any occasion. Love this place a lot!

Calvin P.

Yelp
We came for a birthday today and it was amazing! We came with more people than the reservation (i know we're horrible) we just miscounted and it was on us but the staff at the Belmont did such an amazing job at seating us and making sure we were well taken care of. I got the slice steak and it was cooked to just how I liked. The service was even better!! We had a cake and they brought it out on a plate with the candles lit!! It was an overall amazing experience 10/10 would recommend this to anyone! Great staff really

Madeline L.

Yelp
Have had fine experiences here before. Tried to reserve a spot on a Saturday for a party of 14 people and they denied it. According to the manager, Monica, they refuse to take reservations on Saturdays and don't take any reservations for parties over 12 people, but we are welcome to just walk in. With 14 people? No thanks. Monica was completely unhelpful and kept contradicting herself when I talked to her. Not going here again.

Tawnya Renee A.

Yelp
A much needed date night and we got to try a new place. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. The staff, the atmosphere and the food were top notch! Best salmon I've had in Wichita!! Top it off with the chocolate moose cake

Jayla B.

Yelp
So far I've only eaten the brunch. But will definitely be back ASAP. Them having multiple bruschetta really excites me! Anyways, the brunch - it was amazing. I have the norteño Benny which has a sundried tomato hollandaise sauce. It was amazing. The eggs were perfect (even tho one broke on the way to me, I'd much rather that then overdone which happens too often most places). I absolutely loved it. Perfect with spicy chorizo! I also ordered a "side" of the one biscuit and gravy. Oh my gosh, so delicious. The biscuit was fresh, perfect gravy, and had cheese on it as well. My partner ordered the waffle "off the cuff" which is a daily/weekend special - this one had walnuts and lots of chocolate, as well as fresh whipping. Delicious and very sweet! Waffle was perfect crisp. It is absolutely stunning inside. It's just beautiful. This would be a perfect date night or dinner for a special occasion. Highly recommend. Great service as well.

Emma E.

Yelp
I loved my first visit to Belmont. From the atmosphere, the service, and the food I could see this becoming a regular spot for happy hour and dinner with friends. As a group, we ordered a variety of the bruschetta for the table. Definitely worth it. We couldn't stop munching on them, and then we added more carbs to the pile by ordering the bread with butter. (It's a warm, melt-in-your-mouth loaf coated with butter and garlic. Heaven.) The variety of cocktails they had were lovely. The lemon drop was definitely my favorite. I wish I could eat the beet salad I ordered every day. It was a generous serving and the salmon was delicious. I still think about it to this day. Definitely a great spot in Wichita!!

Dylan S.

Yelp
People, food, and atmosphere are all excellent! Great for a casual meet up, or date night.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
One of our favorite places for a nice meal. We always enjoy the bruschetta flight appetizer, having tried a variety of the options. We also like the Douglas burger and the salmon and ribeye, which change up flavors seasonally. Also a kids menu is available with typical kid friendly options. Overall good service, beautiful atmosphere and great food. FYI They offer a military discount with ID.

John J.

Yelp
Based on price, not worth it, $3 ice tea was bitter, $15 burger was thin and burnt . The sauce and cheese on the burger was tasty and the fries were good

Katie O.

Yelp
Great food and wonderful service. Good location right off the freeway. Ambiance is delightful.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Food, drinks, and atmosphere are top tier. It's definitely a bit on the pricier side considering the size of the portions, but overall good for going out for something different. Another thing that wasn't HORRIBLE for me, but something to keep in mind is the wait. It took about an hour for us to get a table and then the service was a bit slow. Was able to grab drinks while we waited. We were there about 2 hours total, so don't go when you're in a rush.

Penegren ..

Yelp
Heard great things but staff was unresponsive and slow. We waited for over one hour and a half and they didn't seem to care. We're too busy talking with friends. Empty tables all over the place. Definitely don't go with more than 4 people.

Christy A.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! We are driving from KC to OKC and stopped based on all the 5 star reviews! Those reviews are well deserved! Great decor and atmosphere! Friendly, helpful service! We started with the garlic bread at the suggestion of our server. It was uniquely served and delicious! My husband got the fried chicken sandwich and it was perfectly seasoned and hearty! My daughter got a chicken Caesar salad that was a different presentation and again, delicious! I ordered the soup of the day, carrot and the seasoning was very tasty! We were so full, but ordered dessert to go! Our only disappointment was that we couldn't order one of their beautiful cocktails since we were driving! But there will be another time! If there were 10 stars, the restaurant would deserve them and I'm usually stingy with my stars!

Mike S.

Yelp
Not a fan, service was good, the wait time was okay but the price to quality/taste of the food was off in my opinion.

Emma S.

Yelp
Sat at the bar and enjoyed the Daylight cocktail and the Mediterranean salad. Born were delicious! The daylight is an elevated lemon drop that uses Meyer lemons and has an orange blossom mist in it!! So so good! The bartender I had tonight (Julia) was excellent and was so pleasant to talk to!!

My-Trinh N.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance! Contemporary yet elegant-- perfect for all occasions. It's quite spacious, which is very reassuring especially during these trying times. Parking isn't as bad as I had previously anticipated. You can park on either side. The only issue is, the entrance can be a little confusing. We entered through the west entrance and didn't see anyone there; there was no sign at the door stating which of the two was the correct one. A few people who arrived after us were also afflicted with this confusion. Our server was very friendly. She answered all of my questions and concerns and always had a smile on her face. My only regret was not asking for her name! Overall, professionalism was on point. We had different people bringing our food to us, and perhaps they were different people but there appeared to be some miscommunication or confusion. They did not know who ordered what and which of our steaks were medium rare and which were well done (yes, my mother unfortunately likes her steaks well done. Such a shame). I also asked for some chimichurri on the side and had to ask about three times until I was given some. Food was very flavorful. Prices were reasonable and I really liked the fact that ingredients all came from local sources. With this being a fairly young establishment, there are still some things that need to be worked on. For example, we had two orders of salmon that were not consistently prepared. One was nicely cooked whereas the other one was overcooked. This was the same for our ribeyes. My dad's was cooked to perfection while mine was more on the medium done side. I do understand that it somewhat depends on the thickness of the steak, but I was a little disappointed with how it turned out. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend this place and I will be back.

Janita A.

Yelp
Great service, delicious food. Nice atmosphere. Love it ! Servers were very attentive and food presentation and taste were exceptional. Enjoyed happy hour too!
