What a beautiful cocktail bar. The decor is so well done. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Zalika took great care of us! It’s a great place to dress up and hang out to hear some good music and enjoy well crafted cocktails. Can’t recommend this fun and elegant establishment highly enough.

This is my go to spot for friends or family visiting. Great drinks, great atmosphere. Tonight, I came alone. I made that known to the manager Tay, when I walked in and he was so kind. He went above and beyond to walk me to a spot at the bar and introduced me to the bartender Lucy. When I got to the bar, Lucy took amazing care of me. I had never been to a bar alone before and she is the reason I stayed & felt so comfortable. She made me a custom drink and she watched my drink and coat while I went to the bathroom. 100% recommend this place for any night occasions.

I had a birthday coming up and was feeling a bit saddened by the fact that I was having to put together my own birthday party and work had prevented me from planning a great event but a referral from a friend to try The Betty solved both problems. Ellie responded to my inquiry about the venue and made me feel comfortable enough to spend my birthday eve with some friends at their lounge. From the moment I arrived staff was warm, and so very professional. Tay and Zalika made my group feel like VIPs and kept the drinks flowing, they contributed to the elevated atmosphere that I was hoping for and the meticulously designed space made for great photos and a “grown and sexy” feel. I enjoyed the mocktails while my guests made their way through the cocktail menu. My ladies and I plan to try out the DJ for girls’ night out once it warms up a bit, we don’t want to freeze walking back to our vehicles

The atmosphere is very classy here. We enjoyed the music and the service was great. But definitely check the price on the drinks you order. We frequent all of the high end restaurants and bars in cities across the US, but some of these places are getting carried away with drink prices. Might explain why 6 people where in the bar on Saturday night.

Love this place! Amazing ambiance, decor and service. Great cocktails - try the south texas sazerac - and good looking staff. Take your date here and they will be impressed.

I heard through social media that the Betty does “Steak Nights” on Thursdays so came to check it out! Some things to note and review: 1) there is a dress code, so make sure you aren’t coming in flip flops and a t-shirt (shorts are allowed for guys but need to be accompanied with a collared shirt) 2) there is live music frequently being played which made for a great atmosphere! 3) there is only a few “Large” table set ups inside, so know that going in that this is truly a bar/cocktail lounge 4) the staff were very friendly and helpful! 5) STEAK NIGHT: so it isn’t advertised on their website so here’s the scoop. Since they are not technically licensed to serve food, they use a 3rd party vendor. You go to the outside patio to order and pay directly there. Then when your food is ready they will come bring it to you! Honestly it was one of the better steaks I’ve had in Austin and reasonably priced too! There were 3 options the night I went and I got the Ribeye which comes with smashed potatoes and asparagus, with a price point of $45! - I’d come back again especially for steak night!

My fiance and I just had our engagement pictures taken here, and it was an amazing experience. The ambiance, decor, bar, and outside space are beautiful. The co-owner and brand manager were super accommodating and let us come in on a Monday when we had the place to ourselves. They even gave us complimentary champagne. We’ll definitely go back when they’re open for the live music and cocktails!

Crowded. If you don’t have a table be prepared to stand around awkwardly. Drinks were watered down. Decor is pretty. Atmosphere is ok. Wish they had an open space for dancing.

We went for happy hour on a Friday and got the best service. They were very attentive and the vibe was excellent. On or two drinks weren't made to our satisfaction and they made it right. I'm not a fan of cool places and poor service but this place was a+ Very nice place to have a romantic date or a live congratulatory drink. Each spot felt like VIP

There was live jazz playing when we went on a chilly Wednesday. The wrap around bar is gorgeous and there is lots of little hidden corners for make outs. The aesthetic is homey yet very chic. Obsessed with the details in the ladies room. I forgot what I ordered but it was a custom drink. The bartender was very attentive and took his job to heart. Will definitelyreturn on my next trip from Houston!

The happy hour is incredible! 4-7 during the week when they are open Tuesday-Friday! Half off cocktails!! It is honestly one of the best cocktail bars we have been to. The bartender working tonight was amazing - so helpful and friendly! We ordered a couple of different drinks - I got the raspberry beret - I could have 6 of these - truly so light and delicious and sweet! An absolute classic My fiancée got the Betty blue eyes which is like a whiskey smash - he loved it - smashed blueberries and whiskey is a classic He also ordered the old fashioned and it was the best old fashioned he's had - he could have multiple of these too lol I also ordered the mariposa - a grapefruit Moscow mule - so flavorful and so smooth - a great cocktail honestly The indoor is beautiful - the decor is old fashioned and stunning. We will return for happy hour forever honestly - we loved this place

We visited on a Saturday evening during a UT game and had the entire bar to ourselves! This cocktail bar exudes elegance and sophistication. While the cocktails are on the pricier side, they are well worth it for the quality. If you're looking for a perfectly crafted drink, this is the place to be! The bartender has years of experience in mixology, and no matter what you choose, you can't go wrong with any of their creations.

The Betty is a new vinyl cocktail bar in Austin. It's between 5th and 6th. It's very LA. There are multiple bouncers and celebrates at the entrance. There is a dress code that must be met before being allowed in. Seems every night has a life DJ. The VIP section roped off with bottle service from the "bottle girls" seemed a bit ridiculous given that there were four people inside. The outdoor patio looked really nice and relaxing. And the design on the interior is pretty unforgettable. The Betty also offers steak dinners. This is the perfect place to take your 25 year old CEO boss who just moved here from LA.

Recently visited the Betty for cocktails this past weekend in Austin. Originally we were told that there was only bar seating but we ended up getting a table up a couple stairs and it was like the best seat in the house! Although our server was super friendly it took a while for anyone to come to our table to greet us and even longer for us to get our drinks (about 30 min total). The martinis weren't our favorite and cost about $60 for two of them. We ended up leaving after just because we didn't want to wait longer and pay that much, but the inside is really beautiful and it's a very intimate candle lit spot.

The ambiance was beautiful, 10/10. Much like a few of the new glam places that have popped up, we didn't feel like the cocktails were up to par, especially at the prices. Beautiful per the pictures, but taste-wise it was just okay. It definitely has potential. They only have food on Thursdays (unless you count popcorn) and it sounds like they have dress code, but only enforce later in the night when it gets busy.

Great food and good service . We went in steak night. $50 bucks for a ribeye that did not disappoint. The cheese broccoli and potatoes as the side were in point and delicious. To our surprise it was happy hour on the drinks which was nice. The drink are made to perfection or close to it. They were really good. Most drinks are about $17-20 dollars each.

Steak night Thursdays is a MUST! Double win if you go during their HH which is 4-7 pm You can choose between 3 or 4 kinds of steaks and it comes with two sides. The rubicon cocktail was super good! I really enjoyed this cocktail bar that's right off W 6th street. Great service, good drinks though a bit pricey, very intimate, classy vibes! I will be coming back on another Thursday night

Classy, great drinks, great decor. Probably not for everyone if you're go to is a baseball hat and nfl jersey.

DO NOT come here for steak night on Thursday. It took 1.5 hours to get our food and the steak was barely edible. It was hard and cold. we ate a few bites and lost our appetite. The asparagus was also old and Mac and cheese was salty. You had no choice of sides it was only Mac and cheese and asparagus. Best part was the steak was $40 for New York strip and $35 for the hanger. Feels like we got scammed. They also make you pay and tip before you even get your food. Drinks were the only good part here but only worth it if you get them half off during happy hour. Otherwise they are 18-21 bucks. Horrible experience

Though we made a reservation, when we arrived they said we can only sit you on the patio- cold and no music. The security and hostess were very rude and unaccommodating. When the manager heard, he tried to put coffee tables together- awkward. And then when we went to order one of the 3 items on the menu, they wer "out" of steak. We left.

Had a great dinner across the street at J.Carver and decided to stop in here for a drink. What a mistake. Dude at the door looked at us like we were garbage. Incredibly unwelcoming and rude. Clientele was strange once inside. Seemed like a few women there were escorts based on the level of attractiveness of their male partners. Maybe they were just ugly rich dudes, it's tough to tell sometimes. The enormous stuffed Teddy Bear sitting in a corner was the most unique thing about this place. We ordered 2 cocktails and two beers. Total was $90 bucks. This is for California transplants who are drowning in debt but still want to look like they have something. We all hated this place. Will try this spot again once it's closed and something else takes it's place like it always does. Hopefully that happens soon

beautiful place. really is. third time there. owner stands at the front and criticizes everyone. he is quite literally the worst person we have ever encountered. door guy had embarrassment written all over his face. after he blatantly turned away well dressed folks because they were not up to the betty standard we decided to get out of line with everyone else. what a joke of an establishment. highly recommend going anywhere but here. Cocktail lounge with a drink menu that lives up to a Cheesecake Factory menu.
