My son and I recently visited the Beverly, and it was an exceptional experience! The drinks were top-notch—expertly crafted, flavorful, and presented beautifully. The menu offered a great variety, and every bite of the food was delicious. From the appetizers to the main dishes, everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and well-prepared. Try their wings!! Very tasty sauce. The Southern Fried Flounder was a hit as well as the Rasta Pasta with grilled shrimp. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of energy and comfort. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a great time. Whether you're stopping by for a casual evening or a special night out,the Beverly is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Dined in, at the bar, during Saturday brunch. One bartender told me it was unusually busy for a Saturday, but it was always this busy on a Sunday (full house half an hour after opening). Olivia was my service bartender, and she's lively, gracious, inviting, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for being so great at tending bar! I chose The Beverly because of a Black Restaurant Week advertisement, and I was NOT disappointed! As a former caterer, specializing in vegan and pescatarian dishes, their fish (fried grouper) and grits was seasoned as perfectly as could ever be. Outstanding balance of salt and spice, with a delicious, luscious roumelade topping. Their bar is stocked with my absolute favorites - three different Uncle Nearest brews, and Casamogos's añejo! Such a treat! So good! I look forward to returning! Lots of parking is the cherry on top, since it's in a Kroger/great clips shopping strip.

My friend and I decided to start our birthday month celebration at The Beverly based on a recommendation. We made reservations for 11:30 brunch. The atmosphere and music was a whole vibe, there was about five other tables dining at the same time. The food came out quickly but was subpar. I ordered The Beverly. The chef is heavy handed as it relates to the salt. The cheese grits were to salty and my over easy eggs tasted as if the were laced with salt. The turkey sausage were okay. The server, Gia was very attentive and suggested a different side. I requested the sweet potato fries with no salt. The chef did get that right. I asked Gia to make the chef aware of the of over salting of the food. My friend wanted to order the shrimp tacos but only the brunch menu items are available during brunch. She ordered the jerk chicken egg rolls, that looked oily and overcooked, and The Beverly omelette with bacon. She said that the food was okay and she could have made a better omelette at home. Parking was out front and free to park.

The food was delicious! Atmosphere was great. I ordered way more than i should have for one person, but was so happy that i could take some home and have for later. My waitress Shateria was awesome! Friendly, great personality, great customer service and the prices were great! I would recommend the spinach dip & garlic Parmesan wings. I will definitely be back!!

The brunch and dinner is a vibe. Sports bar vibes and restaurant menu. They didn’t have any egg rolls when we went. I came previously and tried the catfish and shrimp and grits. 1st time at this sports bar. Quite popular. Lots of people coming in and out on this Friday night. Location in a shopping mall area. Free parking onsite. Typical bar atmosphere but kept very clean. Sat at a high bar table. Enough room for drinks and food. Asia was our server. A very attentive and efficient person. She is welcoming. My companion and I had the same food order. Salmon sliders with side of spinach. One of the sliders was ordered blackened and one without. This food was DELICIOUS! My salmon was cooked perfectly! I loved the coleslaw with pineapple. A perfect accompaniment to the fish. The spinach is the best that I have EVER had in a restaurant!!! Usually, spinach out is bland and unexciting. But this spinach had real garlic and tomatoes seasoned perfectly 👌 Now I didn't say salted to death, I said seasoned. There's a lovely difference! In addition, the spinach was not cooked to death... Yeah, like I said... best spinach in a restaurant. I had 2 spicy margaritas. Each one was well done ....portion of liquors and spices combined for a delicious drink. Not watered down. At a table nearby, someone had chicken wings. They must have been good cause all I saw left were the bones! Lol. You know what? Except for the noise level, I really liked this place. I will come back. They even had a dj who played popular music.

If you're looking for a nice sports bar with a good drink menu, youve come to the right place. Location and Parking Located in Grant Park, parking is free but the lot immediately surrounding the restaurant is small, and is shared by 3 other businesses. You'll most likely need to park in the larger lot, behind Kroger. Venue and Atmosphere The space is casual, with plenty of seating and TVs to watch sports. They also have a patio area on the side. Nothing fancy but it's very clean. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages I had the cobb salad, lemon pepper wings, and the Spelman themed cocktail (they had a Morehouse Margarita as well but I didn't try that). The wings were great but the salad was salty? I've never said that about a salad before, but maybe they added too many cheese crumbles. The drink was presented beautifully but was a bit too sweet for me. Verdict I'll be back for the wings and sports, but maybe I'll just stick to a beer next time.

I went to this establishment on Thursday; January 2 let me tell y'all about our experience. I went with two other ladies. I ordered a double whiskey Mule it was good. I also ordered the jerk rolls that were mediocre and lack favor. However the shrimp tacos are A1 very tasty, the bang shrimp are very salty. And when I complained about them being so salty the lady manger made an excuse. I didn't need the excuses. Those shrimps were more salty than the damn ocean. The vibes is great, I will recommend for ladies night and watch the games as they have several tvs. I have never been to a bar in Atlanta and it's more men then woman. OMG i loved that. So much masculine energy. Oh and free parking is always a plus !

If you're looking for a casual, no-frills sports bar, this spot fits the bill--but it does come with its quirks. Parking? Tight, but if you're patient, you'll manage. Once inside, it's a seat-yourself kind of vibe. The servers were knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. Food-wise, I tried the shrimp dish, pork chops, and the jerk sandwich--all decent, but everything was a bit on the salty side. Not bad, just... let's say "memorable." The spinach was good! The espresso martinis are an option, but strangely enough, there's no espresso machine. And, while I understand the trend, I'm not a fan of scanning QR codes to see a menu. Sometimes, a physical menu just hits different, you know? All in all, it's a cool spot to catch a game or unwind with a drink. The energy was on point, but don't expect any fancy extras here. It's a laid-back sports bar, and they lean into that.

I don't recommend this restaurant. I'll start with the service. We were in the restaurant for a total of about an hour and a half. And we had to ask our waitress for items multiple times in order to just get plates or our food ordered or our drinks ordered. I think she might've been one of two waitresses, so maybe the restaurant needs to hire more people, but I did see service staff walking around doing other tasks. Either way that was not enjoyable. The ambience is fine. It's like a sports bar/lounge. I can see why people like to go there. I can also see influencers coming over and making cool videos. It does have a cool vibe to it so I'll give it that. For the food. I wanted to get the Rasta pasta because that was a recommendation from previous patrons, but they told me they didn't have it. They informed me that a couple of items on the menu weren't on the menu because they ran out of food or something. So I ordered the eggrolls . The eggrolls were not very good. They were dry and the sauce wasn't flavorful. I probably won't order that ever again. Being in the heart of Atlanta, there are so many different options and things to do. I probably won't give this place another shot, but I encourage everybody to have their own experience.

The Beverly never let me down. Whenever I'm in need of good food late night...they come through. I always order the shrimp or fish tacos with fries and an satisfied every time. My visit on 02/28 came after night drinking and a failed attempt at dining at another establishment. Robby was my server and he took excellent care of me. Illof course be back!

Brunch at The Beverly was an amazing experience. I have been in Atlanta for a week and this is hands down the best meal that I have had! The food was so delicious! I had the Chicken & Waffles with a side of Grits. Hands down the best Grits I have ever had. It was seasoned to perfection! The waffles and Chicken were seasoned well too. Bria, our server was very friendly and provided excellent service. The ambiance was on point. Artist, Kameron Corvet's soulful voice was the cherry on top for my Sunday Brunch experience at The Beverly! I cannot wait for my next visit to Atlanta. I will definitely be back!

Overall experience was great! Service was pretty good, our waitress was really nice and helpful. We had a party of 6 and made reservations. We had the mimosa carafe, the first one was perfect. The second one was a little sweet. The chicken and waffles were tasty. you can choose chicken tenders or wings. I did tenders. The philly cheesesteak rolls were hit or miss with the table. Let's go with a 3 out 5. The breakfast plate was good, flounder was very flavorful. The grits were tasty and creamy as well. The jerk chicken rolls were a hit with the table, more veggies than chicken. The hazelnut martini was extremely sweet and i believe most of the drinks were on the sweeter side. I'd try it again.

I got the salmon egg rolls and Brussels sprouts. The brussel sprouts were great! Flavorful and crispy. However, The egg rolls were a bit lackluster. The ambiance itself was pretty loud and crowded but it comes with the territory being a sports bar environment. The service was very slow, but our waitress clearly had her hands full with multiple tables so no fault to her. I definitely would want to come back another time for live music.

I was given the Beverly as a recommendation for dinner. Upon arrival I was very scared that It would just be your average bar/pub food but they actually had an interesting and varying menu. The service was decent, my waiter maintained a steady pace of checking in and provided recommendations when asked. The environment was more sports bar, meet up, type of vibe. There was music and games going at once but I felt it was still conversational enough to not be screaming at the phone as I came alone and took a phone call the duration of my visit. Overall, I would definitely come back. I enjoyed my selection and I'm open to trying more of the options they have!

I read a review for another bar that mentioned the food at the Beverly so I decided to pop in and check it out. I ordered the salmon egg rolls and a cocktail with crown royal. The food came out at a decent time, but I wasn't a fan of the sauce that it was served with. When I asked if there was another sauce to switch it for the bartender said yes and gave me two other options. I decided on a sweet chili option which had an asian flavor and paired better in my opinion. To my surprise when the bill came I was charged $1 for the sauce. I didn't like the chipotle based sauce and didn't eat but a taste of it but I was charged as if I ordered extra sauce. That was annoying. I know it's just a dollar but it's the principle of not being able to switch out a sauce on the house that resulted in the 4 stars. I enjoyed my crown drink and the music but it seemed like I had just missed the live band.

If you are looking for a comfortable, chill atmosphere with great food at a decent price, I highly recommend The Beverly! This black owned business is perfect for a night out, brunch, drinks, watching sports games, etc! They have bar, indoor, & outdoor seating with modern music and sometimes live performances! The servers were very attentive and quick. Overall, I enjoyed my brunch here and will definitely be back to try their lunch or dinner menus! Beverly Breakfast: 9/10 Loved how customizable this is from the way you can have your eggs, the various protein options, and substituting regular toast for french toast!! The grits were nice and creamy & the egg portion was great!! French Toast: 7.5/10 I personally am not huge on cinnamon and this particular french toast was heavy in that. I've come here many times for happy hour, it's a great easy vibe. Happy hour is 4-7, there are drink specials only. On Fridays they have live music that starts at like 7:30. Service is always great. This time we sat at the bar- our bartender was attentive and made great drinks. My friend thought her second margarita tasted a little weak and she gave her some more tequila. She wasn't going to complain bc it was on special anyway, so I mentioned it and to our surprise she fixed it. I don't come here for food but everything is decent. Spinach dip and egg rolls were good.

I come to the shopping center to go to Kroger regularly, but this is my first time stopping in. It's a really busy place on a Sunday afternoon. The wait was 30 minutes, but I snagged a seat at the bar. A really nice young man gave me a seat and brought me a drink. Such a gentleman. I ordered the Philly Chessesteak egg rolls. They were really good. But the chimichurri sauce on the side is excellent. The staff was nice also. Smiling through the chaos of a full house. I'll be back. Probably on a weekday.

I showed up on a Saturday afternoon, hungry and thirsty and looking for a place to recharge after a hectic morning. Google Maps said I was only about 15 minutes away from the Beverly, so I headed there. I found a seat at the bar and was promptly greeted. Brunch was ending and the bartender let me know about the specialty cocktail of the day. I ordered the cocktail and decided to order an appetizer while the kitchen switched over from brunch to dinner. QR codes were posted on the bar for me to scan to and the menu. My drink arrived and was tasty and pretty. I'm not usually a watermelon fan, but it worked in this drink. My appetizer was Philly egg rolls. They arrived shortly after. They were fried really well and had more meat than I expected. The serving size would've been perfect for 2 people to share. Since I was on my own, I had about half of it left once my belly was full. The music was loud, but enjoyable. It was a great mix of R&B hits. I could've sat and listened for much longer than I did. They were a little more than half full when I arrived and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The energy was great and I'd come back for sure!

Stopped by on a Sunday early afternoon for brunch and the falcons. The Beverly is a sports bar that shared a parking lot with Kroger and Chick fila. The restaurant serves standard bar fare such as burgers, wings, sliders as well as salads and pasta. I enjoyed the jerk chicken rolls, a Cobb salad with salmon, fries, and Rasta pasta. Everything was lovely. Most dishes were $10-20. Also had a mimosa carafe for $15. I think they're first come first serve. I called ahead and didn't wait long. Many tvs. Great for watching the games. Parking can be tight immediately in front of the restaurant. Service was a bit slow during the game but everyone was professional and friendly.

I was in the area and was looking for a cool sit down restaurant to grab a bite. I found this establishment on Yelp and after looking at the reviews I decided to drop in. I ordered several items including a Philly cheesesteak which appeared and tasted like cut up hamburger patties, not steakem. The tenders breading came off with each bite, it different to eat whole. The jerk chicken egg rolls had hardly any jerk flavor to them but were hot and taste was decent. The shrimp tacos were ok but seemed more aligned with Taco Bell than a sports bar. The wait staff was great and friendly. The food probably needs a do-over.

I like the Beverly! The vibe is awesome (particularly on weekend nights for live music or during major televised sporting events). Appetizers and drinks are good and prices are decent. My favorite things here are salmon sliders, salmon egg rolls, and Philly egg rolls. The Philly egg rolls are sold out like 75% of the time when I go. Try going a little earlier in the day if you want those. Salmon egg rolls come with a remoulade sauce that take them to the next level! Wings are pretty good too. I've been here several times and the only thing I did not care for was the jerk chicken egg rolls. I thought they were dry and kind of lacking. Service is good. There's free parking in the shared lot in front of the Beverly. There are also street parking spots along the back side, just down the steps from the patio. You have to come in the front, but you can exit from the back. Overall: I love this place. Good for apps and drinks and if you come on the right night, a good time!

I loveeee this place!! 100% recommend people to go, I got the Brunswick stew (chicken, pork, stew, jasmine rice) and was in love with it. I would eat that all the time. My friends got the Rasta pasta and it was seasoned wonderfully!! They did say it was spicy and it wasn't very spicy but it was still delicious. Added bonus: this restaurant is also a black owned business !

I found the food to be good here. Service was also timely and the restaurant has a very good vibe. There was live music when I visited and the band was very good! I really enjoyed my time here. The mimosas are decently priced, although I question if they're using the not so good stuff for the sparkling wine piece. The jerk egg rolls were about a 3/5. I didn't taste much jerk and they are slightly dry. Overall good experience and I would return.

1. This is really nice sports bar with a cool laid back vibe. The margarita was not a margarita, but the bartender made it right for me- thank you. 2. Overall, the service was horrible last night from the moment we stepped inside the door; the hostess walked by us repeatedly, until we asked for assistance and then replied, "oh would you like a server?" -I should have left right then, but let that slide. 3. Placed our order and then waited at least 20 mins for my food after the server dropped off my friend's order. She either totally forgot my food or was purposely dismissive while she chopped it up gleefully with other patrons at the bar- I'll never know. After exhausting all patience, grace and tolerance, I called the server over and told her to cancel the order. She then scurried to the back and brought out cold food and placed it on the table "per policy" according to her and then summoned the hostess/ manager (now fully attentive) . The host/ manager came to my table and without a word attempted to box the cold hamburger/ fries, completely dismissing the issue, but intent on charging me for food that obviously had been sitting in the back. The host/ manager then asked if it was my first time patronizing the establishment- I told her "it wasn't my first time, but definitely my worst time." Bae decided to come here. We arrived a few minutes before opening so we were able to be seated w/o reservations. Bre was out server. She was a nice pleasant young lady. We decided to order the salmon egg rolls, salmon (fried) with grits and an Omelette with turkey sausage and grits. The selections were good. The only thing i needed was soy sauce for my egg roll. An All Around Excellent Experience. Customer Service/Wait Staff was excellent, and it was packed in Restaurant/Live music was great. Wait time was minimal, was seated in less than 6 minutes without a reservation. Food was excellent, fresh and Delicious.. Cocktails we're delicious and strong. Presentation was excellent. Great wings, cold beer and amazing egg rolls. Love the crowd . Seems a little uptight but is really not, is super chill. Burgers are great too.

Cool black owned spot to hangout with friends to catch-up over great food, cocktails, and music. Visited on a Friday evening (7 pm) with a party of 3. We were immediately seated. Our waiter, Devin, was cool and took care of us. I ordered the shrimp and a side of macaroni. I didn't care for the sauce on the shrimp-it was better without it. The macaroni had a different taste that I can't quite explain. I'll try something else next time I visit. The Grand Scheme band's live music playlist was awesome. Just don't expect to have a conversation with your crew while they're playing without yelling over the music. Parking in the free lot is limited. I look forward to visiting during the warm months to enjoy the outside seating.

I enjoy the ambiance and service without fail. I want to support this place but the food is inconsistent and overpriced. When it's good, it's really good! But when the food is off... I'm just saying that they must elevate standards consistently in that kitchen to match their high prices.

I wish I could give the Beverly 3.5 or 4 stars but every time I go, they don't have several items on the menu (eggrolls)! The music and atmosphere are always great. The food that is available on the menu is pretty consistent. Just wish the availability of the eggrolls and other appetizers were consistent.

Came here for a friends get together and it was my first time there. The ambiance is super cute, and they had room for our group of 10-12. Parking is easy, it's adjacent to a shopping center. I had the bacon burger and it was really good! I liked how the toasted the bun and the meat was juicy. I had two happy hour margaritas which were STRONG!! It's not liquor forward in taste but it was potent. The server was amazing and the overall vibe was great! Good music and I will definitely be back :) +1 for it being Black owned

Basic meals. Over cooked salmon which was obviously frozen before, fried items like shrimp and fish that are so hard they rub the roof of your mouth, no chicken taco, fish and shrimp all friend too hard and too salty.

The atmosphere is great! They have a wonderfully stocked bar. The seating is limited and rushed because there is a 2 hour max. Parking is also tight unless you risk parking in the Kroger parking area. The food is mediocre. The rolls were gross (Philly, Salmon & Jerk Eggrolls). They all taste like they're from the frozen food section of the grocery store. This also includes the Firecracker Shrimp. You may as well be eating at Applebees or Chilis, at least the price would reflect the quality of the food. The Cobb salad is good, but who wants a salad a sports bar?! But, it's the ONLY thing on the menu that doesn't taste like it came out of a box or nuked in the microwave. I've heard the salmon entreee is good. Their drinks are wonderful. I always enjoy my drinks. The bartenders are fantastic Final Verdict: an overpriced version of Chili's/ Applebee's. However, if you're looking for a good drink, you've found a good spot.

The DJ was awesome!!! He played great 80's-00's R&B songs. The food was decent, not too impressed. At the end of the evening they told us that due to the MICROSOFT issue they couldn't accept debit card. No sign on the door, no notification from the staff just you have to pay. Food was good, server was great but MANAGEMENT SUCKS. Do better!!!!

I have never walked into a restaurant and had the hostess immediately tell me "you gotta tip me and I'll find you a table." At first me and my friend thought she was joking until she repeated herself 3 times without cracking a smile...smh...Are y'all fucking kidding me?! All I could do was laugh and walk out. This is Atlanta, I can get that food anywhere and without the extra shit from the host/hostess. I won't be back, what a turn off. ------------- UPDATE: Moments after I posted my first review, Mario Johnson reached out to me and was very apologetic and empathetic about our experience. Mario provided me his personal number and has been in communication with me since the experience happened. He has a standard and a vision for his restaurant, that was clear to me from our conversations and I don't hold anything that happened with the host against Mario or The Beverly. He made sure to make myself and my friend feel seen and heard and welcome to come back. Mario invited us to come back in for a proper experience at The Beverly and we can't wait to go and enjoy ourselves. Thank you Mario of being so diligent and kind, we appreciate you.

We came in on Wednesday around 1:15. Maybe two or three tables were occupied. We were told to seat ourselves, and we were given waters pretty quickly. Menu is available via QR code, and we ordered lemon pepper wings (since people have given it great reviews) and the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls. We also placed drink orders. The bartender made our drinks and set them on the counter. We waited several minutes before I grabbed them myself and brought them to our table. I cannot express how dead this place was. It would have taken nothing for the bartender to bring us our drinks or get the waitress to do it. Wings and eggrolls came out in about 15 min. Wings were so salty! The eggrolls, however, were fantastic! This place gets two stars (not one) because it was very clean, the waitress was nice (although slow), the place has a nice vibe, and the eggrolls were great. Everything else is why this place doesn't get more than two stars: so slow, grabbed our own drinks, wings were almost inedible, my husband said he could've gotten a comparable buffalo chicken sandwich at a fast food place, my burger (which I asked to be cooked medium) was so well done I had to focus on not choking on it, and they were out of almost everything on the cocktail menu. Total came to $74 including tip, which is ridiculous.

Recently visited this establishment on a Sunday and had a good time. We arrived when they first opened and had no issues with seating. They do get crowded, so arrive early or make reservations. The drinks were strong and the wings were delicious. We ordered the pineapple bbq and mild wings. Both were great, although I was unable to detect any pineapple in the pineapple bbq flavored wings. My friends had mixed reviews about the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. One enjoyed them and the other said they were just ok. They did look a little dry when they arrived to the table. I ordered a sidecar and a rum based cocktail that were on point as well. Service was decent and no one in my party had any real complaints. Definitely looking forward to visiting on a night when they have live music.

No wait for Sunday Night Football. They showed all the games. Salmon sliders and lemon pepper wings were delicious and hot. Best wings I've ever had to be honest. I got a Morehouse Mule drink and it was fantastic. Service was great. Music was a tad bit too loud, but the playlist was dope. Only issue was the ladies restroom. Only two stalls; one missing a door.

Service was great , our server was awesome, have us a lot of good food recommendation ... and the food was very good .. prices are very reasonable and it's a very chill venue.
