The Biscuit Man

YES. this is truly decadent, fresh, and filling. I got the egg and cheese biscuit with avocado added. My partner got the same without the avocado. They were seriously delicious and we both sat in silence for a while indulging and taking in the flavors. Love that this is located in the Longroom, as it’s a dimly lit interior with a sunny, vibrant, and cute porch on the back. Def going to be back for more biscuits - I want to try one with jam next! Oh, and for those wondering - you order food at the sidecar inside the building on the left, across from the bar. My oat milk latte (drinks are ordered at the bar, even in the morning) was divine - perfectly hot. The spicy potatoes were crisp on the outside, seasoned almost too much (but not too much!), and hot (in terms of spice and temperature).

The classic chicken sandwich is bomb. The chicken has a crispy light batter on it. The biscuit has the perfect amount of flake while still holding together when you eat it. The pickles are super thick and give it a nice texture balance. The spicy aioli is right on, the creaminess and the heat balanced out perfectly! The fried pickles are kind of standard, very delicious maybe a little too oily. Definitely worth the stop in.

Grabbed breakfast of the sausage, egg, and cheese and the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits. The biscuits are warm, perfectly buttered, and flaky. Also, one biscuit was almost more than I could consume. They’re not biscuits for the faint of heart.

Awesome biscuits (fried chicken) in an awesome bar! Easy to miss on busy Irving Park, The Biscuit Man resides inside the Long Room. Opens at 8am daily except Sundays (11am). Kids welcomed until 5pm. Nice hidden quiet outdoor seating. Order food from the window and get drinks at the bar (including juices and coffee drinks). GREAT!

The boss biscuit has the most perfect ratio of goats cheese and jam. You get a lot for what you pay for, these biscuits are massive and will defeat you.They are never dry, always fluffy and consistent when we order delivery. These will most likely become your weekly craving.

Snug within the Longroom bar, biscuit man was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy as I sat with a friend. Noticing others having meetings or working on their laptops. A far cry from a noisy cafe. Lovely staff and clean space, fun decor.

Biscuits cure everything; empty stomachs, hangovers, rainy days, the Bears sucking, this has become a regular stop for me based on the above. Jalapeño cheddar biscuit for the BLT with Egg sandwich is my go to, but love mixing in a Boss Biscuit for something a little sweeter. Can’t wait to try the chicken biscuit, see you soon.

The Biscuit Man never disappoints, it is fantastic every time! The biscuits are so buttery and fluffy. You can tell they are made with love. I’d recommend The Biscuit Man to everyone.
