The Black Lamb

We had a wonderful dining experience! The Beef Wellington set menu was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff’s wine recommendation paired perfectly with the meal and really elevated the whole experience. Everyone was attentive and welcoming, making us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. The cosy, warm atmosphere of the restaurant made it an ideal spot for a rainy autumn evening — comfortable, inviting, and full of charm.

I found this place on Google and decided to try it out for my girlfriend’s birthday. - It was SO MUCH more than we could have expected. The staff, and especially our waiter Michelle, were incredibly tentative and knowledgable. Making the whole process of selecting food & drinks a breeze. The beef wellington gave my girlfriend goosebumps (twice haha) and might have been our favourite meal together ever. 👏 See you again very soon!

We had an amazing meal at The Black Lamb. The ravioli starter with leeks is delicious as was the hake, which was perfectly cooked. Always get the roast potatoes. They are incredible! Service was attentive but not intrusive. Definitely recommend a visit!

Visited The black Lamb with two friends for a very over due catch up. Everything was delightful from the atmosphere, food and especially the service. Our waiter Rohan was so friendly and helped us decide what to order, which is hard as we are an indecisive bunch! We opted for the tasting menu which was absolutely divine and perfect portion sizes.

Ate for the first time here, very nice meal and well put together dishes and wine. Busy with a good vibe but service was smooth. Thanks to Alex who served us and did a great job all night.

Man like Rohan! He was such a lovely waiter couldn’t have asked for a better first experience at the Black Lamb! Was here for my birthday with my partner and he made it so special for us! Lovely to chat to and had great humour. The food was delicious we had the beef wellington meal and every course was amazing. Will definitely be back soon 🫶

We had an amazing lunch with our friends today at The Black Lamb! What a gorgeous restaurant with amazing staff and excellent food. We loved every dish but the highlights were the octopus, duck, pork and sticky toffee pudding! They were so accommodating with our friend’s baby and our two dogs. We will be booking again soon!
