Had such a great experience with The Black Pig. We ordered for pickup and everything was so smooth and easy from start to finish. The food was ready in around 10 minutes, which was amazing, especially considering how busy it usually gets. Everything was cooked perfectly, really fresh, and full of flavour — you can tell a lot of care goes into the food. Portions were generous and definitely worth it. Staff were friendly and efficient when we picked up, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, really impressed with the quality, speed, and service. Will 100% be ordering again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food done properly.

Had an incredible bite at The Black Pig in Borough Market and it completely lived up to the hype. I went for the famous Sandy Cub sandwich with pulled pork and Parmesan — and wow. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, packed with rich flavour, and the Parmesan added the perfect salty finish that made the whole sandwich unforgettable. Beyond the food, the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, even with the busy market atmosphere. Service was quick, the vibe was lively, and the sandwiches are easily some of the best street food you’ll find in London. If you’re wandering through Borough Market and craving a next-level sandwich, this spot is an absolute must-visit!

this sandwich shop was VERY NOTICEABLY the most popular shop in whole of borough market. although the line was long, it moved along very smoothly, so don’t get put off, or you’ll miss out. they only offer 3 sandwiches, so that’s how you know it’s special. the workers who prepare the food are passionate and get the food to you very fast. the best one might REALLY be the BEST ONE. however, the honey truffle parm is addictive. sadly, we didn’t try the veggie one. the order of the sandwiches on the menu might even be the podium. love this shop 👏 we’ll be back for more 😉. *love the cheese on top.

This was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!!! I can highly recommend it. Saturdays can be a bit chaotic because it gets very busy, but the staff are extremely well organized, super friendly, and the food is served very quickly. We will definitely be coming back!

My brother is visiting London, and I wanted to take him to try some new places in Borough Market. After watching a few videos, I saw this stall’s sandwiches being recommended, so we decided to go for the one everyone raves about — “The Best One.” The fennel and apple slaw works really well, and the overall combination of flavours is great. However, the amount of meat was pretty small. For £13 a sandwich, I think they could definitely be more generous. That said, the flavour itself was really good.

Honestly worth the visit if you’re in the area. Queue was long but it was quite a fast service. You can see them working non stop so you know it’s fresh. Decent size and really good flavour. We shared a sandwich (the og one) so we could shop around and try more food but it was quite filling. I’ll try to replicate it at home, it was that good! Only downside is it’s hard to get a seat in peak hour so you’re walking around and the sandwich might get a bit cold.

Outstanding pulled pork sandwich. It’s giant! Definitely come hungry. It’s right in front of some stairs where you can sit down and eat but watch out for the birds! I strongly considered going back a second time during our visit in London and sadly did not. Now I have to wait another year before I can have this sandwich again 😩💔

A quick note: they come naturally on the spicier side, so if you’re not a fan of heat, make sure to ask them to hold the spicy sauce.
