The Black Sheep Pub & Restaurant

Great spot to stop in for a pint of Guinness. The Brussels sprout flat bread was pretty good although tasted a bit burnt from the grill. The staff is always nice.

Sorry for the dramatics in advance, but it is seldom that I can truly give a restaurant 5 stars for food alone. This pub is always a joy to visit for the ambiance, service, blah blah blah, but the bangers and mash here are something worth raving about. The perfect balance of umami, acidity, and the flavors of herbs… it is just superb. Not to mention they make a strong cocktail 👀 5 STARS

Love it in Black Sheep but the chicken quesadilla was essentially an insult to me and every family member who came before me. If either of my great grandfathers are looking down on me and have seen that I spent $15 for this meal, they are likely disappointed in the life that resulted from their journeys to America. The quesadilla came with sour cream and I did enjoy that. It's been a long time since I've eaten sour cream.

Great place for a meal, a pint, or a night of socializing. For this visit we found a few chairs outside and I went upstairs for self service pints. Fresh tasty beers on tap, great attentive staff, cool patrons to chat with.

Was looking for Irish pubs while in town, mission was to have a proper pint of Guinness in a select few pubs. By far this was the best!! Hit it every time and food was A+++++++ will definitely come back!!!

Great little pub in a historic building. Service was excellent both during a daytime stop and during a busy Saturday night crowd. Our food was solid on both occasions, though a little slow to arrive once the crowd showed up. My only complaint was that the AC was out during the evening, which made the basement space pretty squelching.

Found it on google and thought it looked so cool so I had to stop by. I’ve managed a bar for a couple years, so I love trying new spots in the city. The inside was so super cool and you can seat yourself, so was super excited. Once we sat down the blonde older waitress just threw the menus on the table and walked away, very off putting. She came back and took our order, walking away while we’re talking. We ordered the crabcakes they were super good but the mashed potatoes were good but cold? I ordered a sprite, it was flat and it tasted weird I notified our server and she said “that’s all I got” so we gave it back (it was still left on the bill). Next I ordered a chicken club it was good but no ketchup salt or pepper was offered. She was very dismissive and didn’t check on us till we asked for the check. The overall experience just made me want to leave and go somewhere else. Great bar just wish I had better service.

First time here. Great experience. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. They kept our unlimited mimosas flowing and cleaning if glasses. We had the calamari and shrimp. And jerk chicken wings. I'd return
