Decided to try this place out for an impromptu date night and it was a little bad, a little good, but definitely worth the trip.
First the bad... Decor. For food that costs this much, in downtown, WPB, they should do better.
My impressions walking in were not great. A giant bar display is nice but it's obvious no one can get to the top 2 shelves so those are just for looks. The furniture is dated and more than a little beat up. The lovely Spensyr got poked by a broken corner on the tabletop. The industrial ceiling look with exposed pipes and vents has come and gone but they decided to not only keep it alive, but doubled down with bare, water stained, concrete for a main dining room area wall. It's ugly and lessens what was otherwise a great experience.
Okay, now the good... Literally everything else. Our hostess greeted us immediately, found our reservation and had us seated right away. Our server Mac was lovely, friendly, knew the menu, and never let my water glass go empty!
We had a couple cocktails, and a couple of drinks, and everything was really good! Wagyu oxtail ragu was full of deliciously sauced meat and served on perfectly cooked pasta, while my steak frites was one of the better I've had.
